@ferromagnetiic asked : // Ace singing headcanons, please! How often does he sing? Who does he like to sing songs by? What does his singing voice sound like? Anything!
Tumblr media
singing  headcanons  right  up  for  you  !!  tehee
Tumblr media
so  let's  start  with  the  first  one  -  how  often  does  ace  really  sing  ?
the  answer  is  ...  ——  not  often.  you  can  catch  him  humming  songs  and  vibing  to  them  but  fully  singing  only  happens  maybe  at  a  party  or  if  he's  organising  a  house  party  himself  in  the  apartment.  ace  is  not  really  the  open  singing  type  but  he  doesn't  mind  having  fun  with  music  especially  if  there  are  other  people  who  would  follow  along  !  he's  not  very  much  embarrassed  about  it  or  feeling  shy  to  sing.  he  just  much  more  prefers  singing  to  come  naturally,  in  a  moment  of  true  vibe  when  you  feel  the  flow  coursing  through  you,  yeah  ?  he  also  sings  when  he  plays  his  guitar  sometimes  !!
who  does  he  like  to  sing  songs  by  ?
ace  is  very  much  a  guy  who  falls  into rock  and  roll  and  heartland  rock  genres,  country  music  as  well.  he's  neutral  about  pop  and  other  genres.  his  favourite  all  time  artist  would  be  bob  seger  and  songs  like  old  time  rock  and  roll  &  rock  and  roll  never  forgets.  the  music  and  vibes  give  him  good  memories  from  his  hometown  and  state  he  used  to  live  in  before  moving.  i'd  say  he's  also  somewhat  a  rap  guy  but  less  than  being  a  true  rock  and  roll  fan  so  he  does  sing  along  these  artists  the  most. though he's not opposed to listening to songs done by pentakill, true damage, kda & heartsteel as well. in truth he's seen them live as well.
what  does  his  singing  voice  sound  like  ?
honestly  this  is  very  tricky  and  i've  been  wondering  endlessly  how  ace's  voice  would  sound  like.  i  think  i  imagine  his  singing  voice  to  be  raspy,  gritty,  and  emotionally  charged.  like  rock  voice  that  carries  a  raw  and  edgy  quality.  something  very  passionate  and  intense.  i  tend  to  lean  into  a  voice  claim  /  voice  reference  towards  jared  weeks  particulary  this  song  where  it  also  has  a  good  tune  and  imaginery  how  ace's  guitar  play  sounds  like.  you  can  hear  ace's  southern  accent  within  it  as  well.

IMW Ch. 8: Thinking Too Much
I’m so sorry it’s been so long since my last chapter of “Isekai’d to the Modern World” so much has been happening since chapter 7! with my ask box closed I’m going to be trying to update this and “The Princess’s Royal Guard” more frequently. Without further adieu, enjoy.
Warnings: illegal fights, Ace getting ‘wounded’
Word Count: 1320
The spotlights were blinding, especially in the mostly dark room, but he’d started getting used to it. It was his third fight this week and honestly, he was half bored, half amused. Everyone he’d fought so far had been a pushover. People were starting to bet on him now that he’d won a few fights without breaking a sweat, though perhaps that was to be expected. He still didn’t understand the black, padded, fingerless gloves they made him wear, but at this point, he really didn’t care. If they wanted him to wear ‘protective gloves’ he’d wear them. It was good money. Paying you to feed him was easy, he was buying various clothes other than what you’d first got him, and your world had so many amusing toys and games! You’d even started teaching him about video games… after he promised not to break anything. He didn’t think he was going to break anything, after you plugged everything in. Heck, aside from the tablet he’d accidentally broken when watching a video, he hadn’t broken a single thing! And the video he’d been watching had been rigged! They’d wanted him to jump! Cute cat video his ass! That was like asking him to break your tablet! Besides, he’d just thrown it against the wall, it’s not like he’d done anything else to it, it’s not like he could do much else to it. All of his abilities seemed to have disappeared. His higan, his enkai, hotarubi, his HIKEN! It was all gone. He kind of missed being made of fire, being invulnerable to anything but haki and seastone. On top of that, he was starting to wish he could show you what he was capable of, to see a look of awe on your face as you watched him light up the night sky, see the way the light danced across your face. He was willing to bet you were the most beautiful person in the world in the light of a fire. Climbing into the ring, he wondered what people of this world would think of someone just randomly summoning fire. They’d probably lose their shit. Despite his distracted state, Ace was able to end the match without issue, though not without minor ‘injury’, his opponent managing to take advantage of Ace’s lack of attention and get a few hits in before Ace knocked him on his ass. A few bruises, nothing serious, but you’d probably sigh and scold him. It was sweet how much you worried about him, how you paced your dorm room until he came back and immediately inspected him for any problems. Though this would be the first time you found anything. Growling, he heard the announcer introduce another fighter. So far, they’d only given him one opponent per fight, but perhaps he was becoming too good. The crowd became chaotic when the announcer called out his next opponent, many of them rushing to make bets. His guess, this new fighter was quite a bit stronger than those he’d fought before, meaning people thought he was going to lose. Chuckling, he shook off his thoughts. He’d taken 2 or 3 hits last fight and now people were rushing to make bets against him, it would be best if he paid attention.
Walking into the dorm, he sighed, giving you a slightly tired smile when you turned to him. Almost instantly, you were by his side and forcing him to sit in a chair as you looked him over. He had a number of bruises forming across his stomach, another on his cheek, and a small graze on his shoulder, but was otherwise fine.
“Sorry, tough night. They put me against 3 different guys. I think I’m a little too good.” Ace said with a chuckle as you tended to his ‘injuries’, “don’t worry, it's mostly just bruising. I’ve had worse. A lot worse. You should have seen it when I fought against Pops. One time, he threw me through a wall, it was crazy.” Ace said, shaking his head as he remembered when he fought against the man that he called father.
“Are you sure you’re okay? The bruising isn’t too deep? It doesn’t hurt too bad?” you asked, biting your lip as he laughed.
“Are you kidding? My little brother can hit harder than this! Man, you would’ve lost it if you knew how hard gramps could punch! That man’s ‘fist of love’ could knock down fully grown trees with ease!” he said, shaking his head, “I’m fine, trust me. This was nothing. I probably wouldn’t have even gotten hit if I was actually paying full attention. The first guy I wasn’t paying a whole lot of attention to at all.” he said with a shrug. You sighed and shook your head.
“Then pay attention next time, dumbass! I don’t want you getting hurt because you were lost in a daydream.” you said, lightly flicking his forehead.
“Even if it’s a daydream about you?” he asked, giving you a flirty wink.
“W-why would you be daydreaming about me? Stop saying ridiculous things!” you said, hurrying away to the kitchen, “I’ll make us some food. I’m sure you’re hungry.” you said, starting on something simple. Ace smiled at you, his head tilting adorably to the side as he watched you. He’d been here for a little while, living with you, and he’d learned quite a bit. Not just about your world, but about you. You were nice, kind, sweet, smart. He wondered why you didn’t have someone special yet. Though perhaps that worked out well for him. No one to question why you had a guy staying with you, no one to bother either of you with dates or affection, just the two of you. While he was still looking for a way home, part of him knew that he wouldn’t want to leave you. At the same time, he knew you wouldn’t leave, you had too much keeping you here. If he found a way home, he’d have to leave you and that thought had his chest tightening. Placing a plate of food in front of him, you snapped him out of his trance, the young man smiling at you as he dug in.
Laying on the couch, he stared up at your ceiling, it was growing closer and closer to the end of the semester, meaning that you’d, hopefully, be getting a bigger place soon, meaning he’d get his own room. Not that your couch was uncomfortable, hell, he’d slept in far, far more uncomfortable places before, but you’d insisted that he be able to sleep in his own room in his own bed. Vaguely his thoughts wandered to his last memories of his world again. No matter how hard he tried to remember, they were hazy. He’d been at Marineford, on the execution platform. Pops had come to rescue him, then Luffy… the boy had reached him, Luffy had actually managed to free him. Shaking his head, he smiled. It was nice to know how far Luffy had come, how strong he’d gotten. Thinking back, he sighed. He’d been running back towards the others, been trying to escape. He remembered Akainu. The man had said something… Ace’s brow furrowed as he tried to remember what the man had said. He knew that, whatever it was, it had bothered him, but he couldn’t remember what, couldn’t remember what had happened next. The only thing he could remember clearly after that was waking up in your dorm room. Running a hand through his hair, he squeezed his eyes shut. He needed to stop thinking about this so much, especially when he was trying to sleep! Pulling on the blankets, he rolled over, easily falling asleep. He still had studying to do, things he needed to know to catch up with your world, he could figure out his hazy memories later. It probably wasn’t important anyway.

-Hiken here!
I just wanted to ask you about your thoughts on the previous ask. The one with Ace's narcolepsy. I feel like I made it too gruesome robin would love it(I have a feeling it was because I said it was supposed to be private).
I've been thinking about sabo's color scheme, since he's "basil" would that give him a different colour scheme than the others? Yamato would have either a blue or green color scheme as for uta, hers would be a strong red (psychologically proven to be the most stressful color) law would probably be blue or something along those lines. (Is it possible for you to make a small sketch of them?)
Back to Coby! I feel like Coby would appear in a single cutscene that would provoke the "chase" mini game. After that Coby would appear every now and then just like a wild card! His role is to make HIKEN stray away from Luffy only to kidnap him momentarily (in reality it's just something Ace's mind creates for ace to somewhat recover from a stressful shut down from his narcolepsy and yes I actually had to do a research to make sure that stress does indeed have an effect on narcolepsy so please dear newly appointed friend of mine take care of yourself )
Also you said that last time ace had a phobia of heights and like the good brain mine is he made a scenario that goes like this:
Since Ace kept trying to get whitebeard's head (which felt more like a chore at this point for it was but a promise to Luffy to prove his existence to the world ) he would still get plummeted to the ocean but what if Marco caught him? What if he tried to fly up with Ace between his talons?
I'm gonna leave the rest to you to imagine and feel free to share what you come up with! I wanna know how Ace would react in this case.
-Hiken out!
Sorry I fell asleep before I could answer the other ask, i just got home from a stressful walk that time and just plopped down on the sofa 😭 Anyways,
Tumblr media
I'm a little woozy but here! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to not turn it into an rgkg haha.. Though I'd think of Yamato as yellow, since happiness and the three emotion thing. You did say Yamato is a chill boss so i'd like to think he'd be the type of boss to be ecstatic in fighting Hiken like a friendly rival. (Also that bit about Headspace Yamato's shadow 👁) I really do like the bit about Uta representing the anger Ace had, I just think if Hiken and Uta were to fight in the designated island, Sabo would be constantly trying to calm him down like how you spam items in Omori 😭 Law's an interesting case ngl, despite being in a place full of snow that could melt from fire, I feel like he'd get overpowered easily by how strong the winter in Kori Labs are, in a way it would represent how he can't get pass the guilt despite being able to burn it off.
Also The thing about Coby kidnapping Luffy is funny, I think it would be really funny if he genuinely means no harm but Ace's dream keeps making things go awry. The bit about the narcolepsy--yeah stress does factor in, I found myself suddenly falling asleep during a meeting and it was kind of silly ^^; The last bit about Ace almost plummeting into the ocean, I'd think that he'd be angry at Marco at catching him with his talons for a bit because he'd feel that he doesn't need help. But then he'd gaze into the deep water and suddenly finding himself staring at his Something, Obviously I think he'd panic and just climb back up feeling frustrated.

Forgotten Bonds(Rewrite): MEMORY 1
That was a decade ago...
Monkey D. Luffy was his name. That’s what his dad said. He was a cheerful child with no care of the world whatsoever, he had lost his memories... How and why is something he’ll figure out on his own.
His dad told him to avoid going to the East Blue at all cost, but why? It was his home sea, why shouldn’t he visit it?
The catalyst of it all were three young siblings and sake. The two older kids were looking for their youngest and somehow; Luffy found himself helping them. The kids didn’t mind how sketchy he looked with his two scars, he kind of hated them to be honest.
That was only the scars on his face, his body and torso was littered with it, they find the youngest of the three and one of them reprimands while the other comforts.
Then next thing he knew was that a jolt of pain had erupted in his head, he retreats, away from the kids and back to the nearest Revolutionary Base. Memories...
Of two older boys, so blurry but he can make out certain aspects, one with black hair... Small blurry dots, those were freckles, right? The other had a missing tooth and was blond, his mind notes his love for the color blue.
Luffy remembers this phrase with the same young voice, the brand name of the sake they used to announce their brotherhood.
“Did you know? If you share sake; you become brothers?”
He HAS brothers! Brothers! They were probably looking for him, worried about him! It had been like... What? A decade ever since he lost his memories? Were they still looking for him? Was he missed? Don’t get him wrong, the Revolutionaries treat him right but... It just doesn’t seem like he can fit in and he doesn’t want to force himself to fit in then he already has.
Forcing himself to wear tight, constricting leather suits while having to fight in missions, he preferred wearing some sort of apron skirt... Or a mid-asymmetrical wrap. Something a bit more... Ah, how should he...? Something that allows you to move more freely? Shorts? Cloaks? You know, that stuff.
Dawn Island is where he’s headed, on a small ship with traders and sailors. They were kind enough to let him board their boat, Luffy was thankful for them. That specific island is where he was first found when he had asked how he was located.
‘I’m sorry, Dad...’ Luffy smiled sadly, it was necessary sacrifice. He might receive punishment for this but once he gains more memories of these two boys; he’ll know it’ll be more than worth it!
***
It was just another ordinary day in the Partys Bar.
There was said to be a boat with returning villagers on it, why they left? Well, the fire in Grey Terminal can speak for itself. And the bombings, the way the nobles ignited everything in flames with no one to stop them had terrified them.
Makino doesn’t know what was keeping her forward now, the dark green-haired woman with vacant eyes had kept polishing the wine glasses and shots ‘til they were shining. Then to washing the dishes, serving some customers, nothing too eventful.
Everything in this village used to be so lively... With a rubbery boy at the center of the bright light that made them all happy, he was so sweet and innocent, then he was taken to the mountains by his grandfather. A few months later, he came down by himself, or did he?
No, he came down with two older boys who seemed shy? Unnerved? She remembers basically interrogating everyone if they gave the two boys a look. Which they truthfully answered; “No!”
Luffy... Gosh there were tears pricking at the corner of her eyes again, Luffy introduced her to his older brothers, boasted about how they took care of him when she wasn’t around. Makino thanked the two older boys, who were now big shot pirates who had bounties over their heads.
Hiken no Ace and Ryousuken no Sabo, how the blond young man managed to get a hold of that fighting style was beyond her but if it helped him in those harsh seas then she doesn’t mind.
Makino knew how much of a good influence little Luffy had on them, Ace, who was usually a hot-headed person and preferred to be isolated (from what she heard from the mountain bandits), was actually interacting with Luffy. Hell, one of the bandits said they saw the freckled boy’s fist immediately make contact with some assholes face after he hit Luffy.
And Sabo, he just seemed to follow Ace’s lead, but was also keeping some secrets and kept to himself; that included some of his feelings. With their little contagious sunshine around, he lets loose from his self-restraint.
Despite not being related at all, these three were so similar.
The doors swing open, plastering a fake smile she had practiced over the years of mourning, she turns to greet the new customer that might be a one of the returning villagers. She had already heard crying just outside the bar-
The plate she was wiping slid from her hands, her entire frame frozen all over, wide eyes frantically scanning the customer. “Hello, uhm... I’m kind of lo- Lady, are you alright? You dropped that plate!”
It was the same voice, its tone got deeper and sounded more mature but... “Luffy...?” Her own voice wavered; the name rolled out of her tongue naturally. When the young man met her gaze, Makino saw the same round ebony brown eyes. A burn scar on the upper right side of his face, and a familiar (again) crescent scar under his left eye. His skin was no longer just a regular tan, it was sun kissed. Wearing a forest green cloak and she barely made out a greyish-red suit under it. What was even more surprising was that he now wore shiny leather shoes.
“Y- Do you know me?”
“Luffy!” The woman threw her arms around the grown young man who she considered her own.

Billions Flames
Those vessels looked colourful… maybe too colourful for being pirate ships.   The Baroque Works Billions’ Fleet glided over the sea, getting closer and closer, until their lilacs and yellows and reds became a menacing wall around the small Mugiwara’s ship.   Vivi and her friends looked at each other nervously, and even the usually stoic Zoro had a worried expression on his face. Only Luffy remained unfazed, commenting with a simple, “Them again?”   “I’ll clean them up,” said his brother, not much impressed either. Ace was sitting in a crouching position on the rail of the Merry, like a predator ready to jump on its prey. A moment later, he jumped down on his Striker: a tapered boat, similar to a catamaran, powered by his fire.   “What’s he planning to do?” asked Nami, the Mugiwara’s navigator.   Usopp, next to her, also had a puzzled expression on his face. “With just that tiny boat...” he muttered. Chopper and Sanji looked worried as well.   “Let’s just sit back.” Zoro had noticed the smile on Luffy's face and realised there was nothing to fear. “I want to see how good the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates really is,” the swordsman still added out of prudence—or more probably, impertinence.   A few steps behind him, Vivi unconsciously brought her hands to her chest and prayed that Luffy’s brother would be able to let her friends escape.   The moment Ace touched his Striker with the tip of his boot, the lower part of his legs ignited. Even from afar, they could see that he had a confident expression on his face as his hair moved with the wind, the boat gaining speed the more he fuelled fire into its engine. Soon, the smell of smoke filled the salty air, carried by the ocean’s gentle breeze.   The sea was flat, so Ace had no obstacles between him and his opponents. His posture was laid back, with hands resting in the pockets of his black half pants, but his calm was only apparent: he was ready to strike.   “So you’ve come, Firefist Ace!” the Baroque Works pirates barked at him. “If you think you can get past our ships, go ahead and try!”   One of the Billion’s ships towered above Ace now, but he looked unbothered even as its shadow covered him and his much smaller boat. Was he smirking? Vivi and the others couldn’t tell for sure from afar, but smirking was exactly what they expected Luffy’s brother to do in such a situation.   Suddenly, Ace leapt upward.   His legs had kicked the Striker so forcefully that the boat disappeared, submerged by the clear water as foam spread around it. The sound of splashing waves accompanied the abrupt movement, followed by the roar of surging flames.   “He jumped!” cried Nami, so much surprised she stated the obvious. At that point, even Luffy had a bewildered look on his face.   Ace vaulted in the air like a gymnast, his arms open to maintain balance. Once he gained momentum, his flames disappeared, only to flare up again a second later to push him further ahead.   From the waist down, Ace’s body had turned into fire.   “Drop him into the sea!” the Baroque Works yelled as they pointed their cannons at him, but Ace descended too fast for them to take proper aim. He twisted his body to control his headfirst fall, then engulfed even more of his body into flames.   From afar, only his spread arms, orange hat, and Whitebeard’s Jolly Roger tattooed on his back could be seen, the rest of his figure a blazing whirlwind.   Once Ace’s body had completed its arc over the enemy’s ship, the Striker appeared again on the opposite side of the vessel, emerging from the water; its timing had been perfect. Ace gradually extinguished his flames to land on it skillfully. Not a single of his acrobatic movements had been unnecessary, and now he was at the back of the Billions’ Fleet, in a more advantageous position to fight.   The Baroque Works pirates could only gape at him as Ace manoeuvred the Striker to get into an ideal angle to charge his attack. Next, he turned his right fist into fire and cried, “HIKEN!!!”   Vivi and the Mugiwara looked in amazement as Ace’s fist grew into a giant burning ball. Then, he moved his right arm as if throwing a punch, sending the massive fireball flying against the nearest ship. The vessel cracked on impact, but the fireball didn’t stop; instead, it pierced it and clashed against a second ship, then a third, then another and another.   Within a few seconds, the Billions’ Fleet had been obliterated.   Tall waves rose from the surface of the sea as a reaction to the heat unleashed by Ace’s devastating attack, then fell back onto the wrecks and dragged them under the surface in an inferno of water and flames. Thick smoke covered the scene, but Vivi and the others could hear the screams of the Baroque Works pirates as they abandoned ship and swam away in search of safety.   Satisfied, Ace extinguished the flames surrounding his right fist. Then, he turned to look at the Merry to make sure he hadn’t damaged it too. His boat was tossed around by the waves until the sea was calm once again, floating scraps of the enemy ships the only testament to what had been a large fleet.   Ace smiled while adjusting the hat on his head with a flaming index finger, and his smile became a grin when he heard Luffy’s “WOW!”   You still have a long way to go, little brother.   Meeting again with him after three whole years, Ace had wanted to show his progress by scoring a flawless victory over Luffy’s pursuers.   Become stronger and have your adventures, and then let’s meet again at the summit!

It is okay to request a part 2 of angst Ace? like their child is searching for s/o in Amazon Lily and asked Ace: "Papa, when is Mama coming home?"
I'm so sorry 😭
Hi my dear! I got too into the story, so I always end up crying a little 😅. But, either way I hope you enjoy this second part full of pure angst! Thank you so much for requesting and reading ~ 💖
PART 2 - Portgas D. Ace x F! Reader ~ Why isn't she here?
Tumblr media
PART 1: https://sashi-ya.tumblr.com/post/652998156866486272/hi-may-i-request-a-one-shot-of-ace-x-femreader
TW: pure ANGST. Hurting, wounds, blood. Mentions of death
WC: 887
Boa is asking Law about the state of health of Ace, while Luffy stays by his side making funny faces, but Ace won’t wake up.
“Mugiwara-ya, let him rest, all the wounds have opened again. He is not ok, please. Plus, you should rest too”, says Trafalgar Law, who thankfully arrived to give them treatment at a crucial moment while escaping Marineford.
Boa looks at the ground thinking about ways to make Luffy head off a little, and she offers him some food. Even Law has a worried expression on his face. The whole Heart pirates crew is outside, really touched about the news.
Jinbei is on the coast with Rayleigh taking some fresh air, trying to calm himself. He is wounded too.
Truth is, so many lives have been lost in the war, but all of them were deeply touched by the loss of Ace’s lover… because Ace won’t be the only one suffering…
While inside, Ace still remains unconscious, yet salty tears flow from the outside corners of his eyes and has his fist clenched hard over his heart… Losing the love of his life, made a scar over his heart, almost as if he has a big hole in it. But somehow, he keeps breathing.
Luffy tries to act tough, he struggles not to fall because of his weak legs, so Boa helps him to walk away from the room. Some Kujas have brought a big pile of meat, but he is not eating. It hurts to see his brother suffering, plus, he knew his sister-in-law since they were little.
“This is going to take a long time to heal, and I’m not even sure if this type of wound could be cured completely, Luffy-kun. We should be next to him, as much as we can”, Jinbei tells Luffy while both are sitting on the shore looking at the sunset. “Yeah…”, says Luffy, with a tone so unusual, almost extinct.
The night comes, and everybody goes to sleep. Luffy, who can’t fight anymore against the exhaustion, falls asleep sitting next to Ace with his head over the mattress. Boa, who is at his side, also falls asleep. While Law sits on the ground outside with his back over the wall with his katana on his shoulder. He does not sleep, he knows Hiken no Ace’s life is hanging on a very thin thread, so he is ready -even if he doesn’t show it- to save his life if it’s necessary.
The sea and his sounds surround the darkest of all the nights. Law is watching at his submarine docked on the port when he hears some child shouting. He turns around and devises a little kid running towards the hut. The doctor stands up, and sees some Kujas running behind the child, who screams “Daaaddy!! Mooommy!!”. He gasps, he knows the little girl is Ace’s daughter.
“Oi, oi, kid, stop”, he tells her trying to tackle her to avoid her entering. “Let-Let me in!!”, she says and kicks Law. “Rouge, wait!”, everybody shouts at the little girl, but she is already inside. Boa and Luffy wake up scared. “Dad…?”, she asks at the foot of the bed. Rouge cries, without any sound, but with tears that could flood the world. Uncle Luffy is not moving, Boa hugs the little girl, she is not moving either.
“R-Rouge…”, a weak voice struggles to say. “Daddy!!”, the little girl says, and aunt Boa let the little girl approach Ace. “Daddy, what happened?”, she asks. Ace reaches for her and pulls his daughter to his chest. He needs to feel the warmth of his baby girl. He brushes his hair, while Rouge hears the heartbeat of his father slowly increasing. “There is a reason to keep living, Ace”, says Luffy.
“Daddy… where is mommy? I searched for her all over this island, I couldn’t find her… is she here? When is Mama coming home?”, Rouge asks. Ace shuts his eyes, once again, he feels a dagger to his heart, slowly but firmly stabbing him. “How am I supposed to tell my daughter her mom died protecting me? I am the one who should protect her mother… She is going to hate me...”, Ace thinks repeatedly.
The moment seems to be stopped in time; Ace can’t hear anything besides the words of her daughter asking for her mum. He needs to tell her the truth, even if that means he is gonna lose his baby girl, too.
“Baby… Rouge, my baby…”, he mumbles. Rouge looks at his aching father, perhaps already knowing what he is about to say. “Mommy… Mommy is in heaven now…”, he tells her, trying to sound as soft as he could. “Daddy… Mommy is dead?”, she asks. Ace cries, but swallows something that tastes like sand, mixed with blood. “Yes, baby. Mommy is gone… I’m sorry, I’m sorry she died protecting me. It was my fault, I’m sorry baby. I’m sorry…”, he tells her, trying to stand up, failing miserably.
“Daddy… don’t leave me, please. Don’t you ever go away, ok?” Rouge tells his dad while wiping his tears out of his cheeks. Ace gasps, and tells his little baby girl, “I won’t baby, I will always be with you…”, and daughter and father close their eyes as they melt into a tight hug.

Can you please do one with Rodger knowing about ace's execution and maybe ace being saved by luffy and reacting idk alive or dead. This doesn't even makes sense but anything like this will work.
Y’know, it’s not really what you’re looking for, but I figured an answer to this ask was better than no answer at all. Between rewriting an old Ace time-travel fic of mine, I’ve been working on a new Ace time-travel fic with...different goals. If you don’t mind, I’ll be using your ask an excuse to post about it.
So if any of y’all out there have facts about Roger and/or his crew (I’ll take headcanons too), send them my way! I could use some inspiration. Read on if you want a taste of what I’ve been up to with all of this.
“This will be my final order as your captain!”
Ace slowed to a stop. Final?
“It’s time for us to part ways! You must all survive and return to the new world!”
Someone was yelling, begging Whitebeard to say he wasn’t planning on dying here, but it was plain on the old man’s face: he was making himself the last sacrifice.
“I’m a relic of a bygone era!” Whitebeard declared, silencing the complaints. “No ship can carry me into the new age! Get away from here, my sons!”
His next quake rocked Marineford, nearly throwing Ace off his feet. Luffy was still tugging him along towards the ships, but Ace couldn’t tear his eyes from his father.
“Pops!” One last word. One last look. One last something.
Whitebeard grinned in the face of the entire navy bearing down on him. “It’s been a long journey. Let’s finish this once and for all!”
All of Marineford was crumbling, the massive structures little more than paper in the face of Whitebeard’s power. The ground rumbled like the sea in a storm, but through all of it, Whitebeard was an unshakeable pillar of destruction.
Haruta broke rank. “We can’t leave you behind, Pops!”
Whitebeard’s response was swift and catastrophic, stopping Haruta in his tracks. “Can’t you follow your captain’s orders?” he roared. “Get away from here, you lousy brats!”
The tide of pirates began to retreat. It pulled at Ace, but he remained rooted to the spot, that pounding need for just one more look crystallizing into its true shape. He broke from Luffy’s grip and took one step towards his father. His only father.
“Ace!” Luffy cried. “We gotta go!” And then, words that cut like knives: “Don’t let the old man’s sacrifice go to waste!”
That was exactly the problem. Ace glanced back at his brother. “Don’t worry, I won’t.” He turned back to the horde of marines closing in on Whitebeard, the heat of his own flames swirling around his fist. It would have to be enough.
“Out of the way!” His hiken tore through their ranks like a torrent. As the flames died down, so did he, dropping to his knees and bowing his forehead nearly to the ground. Tears built in his eyes and he squeezed them shut.
Somehow, impossibly, Whitebeard’s words carried across the distance between them. “I have little use for soft words…but tell me one thing, Ace.” The tears threatened to break through. “Was I good father?”
The damn broke. “Of course!” he cried, his whole body shaking as his voice cracked.
Whitebeard just laughed. Ace, bowing even lower, swallowed and climbed back to his feet, finally heeding Jinbe’s order to get to the front, only for a new voice to cut through all the noise.
“You free Ace and then turn tail and run, huh? The Whitebeard Pirates are a pack of cowards.” Time slowed. “But considering who your leader is, that’s no surprise! After all, Whitebeard is nothing but a loser from a bygone era!”
And suddenly, he wasn’t heeding Jinbe at all. Rage flared high in his chest and his tears burned up. He turned to face the admiral—
But Akainu wasn’t there. Uncomprehending, Ace stared at the tropical forest where Marineford had been. Five distant peaks stretched into the sky like fingers, but there were no buildings, no fortifications. Instead of walls bearing down, palm fronds rustled in the calm breeze while waves gently rolled onto shore behind him.
Even the air had changed. There was no smoke, no gunpowder, only salt. The fallen marines and pirates were gone. He turned around again, but Luffy and all of his crewmates were gone too. No ships sat on the glimmering waves. No ice held fast the sea.
“P-Pops?” His voice sounded strange to his ears. The breeze came again. A coconut broke free and tumbled the long way to the ground, only for it to get stuck in the sand. “Luffy?”
Another spin didn’t change anything. There was no one around. The sun wasn’t even in the right place. It hung high in the sky, dead at its zenith.
His balance rocked and he sank to his knees. Was this a joke? A Devil Fruit? He brought his arms up to hug himself, only to notice something odd about his left. There was no ink in his skin; his ASCE tattoo had disappeared. Yanking off the tank top that had materialized on his torso and tossing it aside, he craned his neck, fingers pulling on his skin to bring more of it into view, but no matter how he looked—over his left shoulder, over his right shoulder, around his sides—his Whitebeard tattoo was nowhere in sight. It was like it had never been there at all. Even his necklace was gone.
He held out his shaking hands, only then realizing just how small they were. His gaze drifted back to the trees. Were they really that big, or was he…
He was. Shaking harder, he tried to summon some fire, any fire, but nothing happened. There was no response at all. When he dug his nails into his palms, though he could feel it just fine. He could feel everything—the breeze tousling his hair, the sand shifting under his feet, the sun warming his skin. The odds that this was a dream or a nightmare were dwindling with every second that Ace spent hoping this wasn’t real.
Something crashed through the underbrush just past the tree line. Ace froze, then scooped up his shirt and gave chase. Branches lashed at his skin, but even though he hadn’t been this small in years, he still remembered all those days crashing around Goa Island. This place didn’t hold a candle to those wild forests.
The shadow darted left. Ace hooked a hand around a tree’s narrow trunk and swung after it, but he overestimated his reach and fell comically short. He tumbled to a stop, backside stinging, pride bruised.
As he raised his eyes from the ground, he met the gaze of a wild boar. It blinked at him, then, with a huff and a snort, turned and walked away.
That was what he’d been chasing? Ace let his head fall and scrubbed a hand through his hair. What was going on?
“And why am I a kid?” he mumbled. Sure enough, his voice came out way higher pitched than he was used to. Letting his hand fall, he tipped onto his back and stared up through the canopy. He hoped Luffy was okay. His sworn family, too. If they’d come all that way to save him only for him to disappear in the middle of it…Well, Pops would probably keep everyone in line. Marco, too.
He squinted as the sun came out from behind a cloud. What did he know? He was a kid again, for some reason. He was on some island he’d never seen before, for some reason. And, of course, he didn’t have his powers anymore, for some reason. The strategy he’d used to escape that island with Deuce wouldn’t fly here.
As the edge of another cloud took the edge off the sun’s glare, Ace’s skyward gaze fell on the mountains punching over the horizon.
Any kind of vantage point was better than nothing, right? At least he could see if there were any other islands nearby. If this was an archipelago, there were probably people on one of them, and where there were people there were ships.
Getting to the mountain was the easy part. As small as he was, and without being able to rocket himself upwards with his devil fruit, he found himself struggling to actually get up the mountain. Strength wasn’t the problem, but something as simple as a handhold being a couple feet out of reach was enough to stymie him until he found another way up.
By the time he got to the top, he was sweaty, dirty, and tired. He’d scraped his knees and bloodied his fingers before he’d realized that he could still use haki to protect himself from the damage he’d been able to ignore as a logia user.
He sat down hard, drawing in deep breaths. That had unequivocally sucked, but at least he was at the top now. He’d picked the shortest and closest mountain, figuring that anything out of sight from its peak would be out of his reach anyway. Once he had his breath back, he pushed himself to his feet and peered out over the ocean. The wind was much harsher up here, and he had to use a hand to shade his eyes from the sun. The light bouncing off the cresting waves was still bright enough to hurt.
No matter how long he looked, he only saw those waves. It was ocean as far as the eye could see. No other islands, no chain, and no people. Even though he’d kind of expected it, frustration still curled his lips into a frustrated scowl.
What was the point? Why was he here?
Releasing his irritation in a huff, he turned to start the long climb down. It would probably be easier than coming up, since he could use his haki to absorb some of the longer drops from ledge to ledge.
A blurry smudge near the horizon gave him pause. He stopped and peered out at it. Was it a cloud? No, it was getting closer. It was on the water.
His heart lifted. It was a ship.
He threw caution to the wind as he scrambled down the mountainside. His rushed haki didn’t save him from everything, but the adrenaline pumping through his veins numbed the pain. He landed hard on the forest floor, rolled to his feet, and then tore through the trees. He needed to give that ship a reason to stop at this island in case it was just sailing by. A kid waving from the beach would catch anyone’s eye, right?
Panting, bruised, and bleeding, he broke through the tree line, stumbled on the sand, and limped up to the water’s edge.
“Hey,” he croaked at the approaching ship. “Hey!”
He drew breath to yell a third time, but as he did, the wind changed. The ship’s crimson sails filled out, its flags snapped out horizontal, and Ace got a good look at the symbol emblazoned upon them all. His voice died.
A mustached skull and crossbones.
The Roger Pirates.

I’ve been seeing the works of an ex-friend cross my dash, and I feel like I need to say something here.
Please please please do NOT interact with sci-the-superb (previously scifi98, hiken-ace, and mothedmans) for the sake of your own mental wellbeing.
I’ve made a post about this before, and I’ll reblog this one with the link to that, but to keep it short she did a lot of damage to me and someone I care very much about. Such things include sending us explicit content when we were minors, making uncomfortable comments about what we could do once we turned 18, disregarding when being corrected on pronouns, refusing to acknowledge and improve if we asked her not to do something because it made us uncomfortable, playing victim when we expressed that she did things that made us uncomfortable or feel unsafe, generally just... refusing to act like an adult when interacting with two people that are 3 years younger than her. We blocked her for a few months, and we gave her an explanation as to why. She came back asking us for a new chance, so we gave it hoping she had changed. She didn’t, and continued her previous behavior, so we blocked her again. I have evidence if anyone wants it, DM me for that.
This isn’t an attempt at a callout post, I don’t want anyone mobbing her with negativity or hateful anons, in fact just let her be, but please spread the word and keep aware that even if she’s possibly changed, she’s done some pretty messed up shit in the past.

Father and son
Writing prompt.
Warning: Nothing special.
Characters: Garp, Dragon, Sabo (mentionned), Luffy (mentionned)
Genre: Drama, family
Grammar mistakes perhaps, I’m not a native!
------------------------------------------------------------
They met in a bar, in a lawless area, under desguises. No one could recognize them. They were far too much famous for their own good. They couldn’t afford to show their faces.
“Hey, son!”
Dragon took a slip of his drink without looking Garp in the eyes.
“I heard you came to Loguetown lately.”
Dragon sighed. Only his father would ask such questions. He always stated the obvious. Nothing new here.
“Smoker told me everything. You rescued Luffy.”
The most wanted man alive closed his eyes. Whenever he appeared they reported it directly to Garp the Hero. As if Garp would catch him. If only they knew the truth.
“It was foolish of my part but I don’t regret it. Luffy became quite strong.”
Dragon spoke for the first time in their small exchange which shouldn’t happen.
“The Navy became seriously interested in you lately. They are about to unleash some news.”
As if Dragon didn’t expect the World Government to reveal details about his army.
“They discovered who’s your second-in-command.”
According to Dragon’s spies, they already knew sometime ago. Once more, the Navy was foolish enough to think they would stop him. Ideas remained.
“They might unleash Sabo’s picture but I’m sure my student won’t let himself get caught.”
Garp’s thought became darker and sadder. It was an old name, burried inside his very soul. A blonde-haired boy appeared in his mind.
“They try to know from where your student came from. According to the reports, he’s twice feral than Hiken no Ace towards the Navy.”
Dragon spoke soflty but they were so far away from eavesdropping.
“They can’t.”
“Why?”
Gradon sighed.
“He lost his memories ten years ago. He tried to escape Goa Kingdom. A Celestial Dragon shoot him in the head. He’s twenty now from what he believe. We don’t know if he’s going to recover ever from his amnesia.”
Garp’s heart became colder. Sabo, Ace’s and Luffy’s brother was amnesiac? His tears threatened to appear but he stopped them.
“Why do you ask?”
Garp answered:
“For nothing.”
Dragon paid the bartender, someone used to pirates and outlaws.
“Believe me, he won’t talk, can’t talk.”
Garp remained silent. Sabo was alive but he couldn’t tell Ace and Luffy he didn’t remember them. It would be a heartless move of his part. So he also left the bar letting some coins on the corner to smell the rain outside.
Dragon was nowhere to be seen as usual. As of he didn’t want to talk to his family.
