Idk man thinking about Caleb and Astrid and breakdowns. How the one time we see her have a breakdown it's so neat and quiet and private in contrast to Caleb's messy, public, even violent breakdowns. Do you think she looks down on him for not being able to control it? Do you think she resents him because Trent still wants him back even after all of it and she could never get away with something like that (does the specter of the hysterical woman keep her up at night)? Does she envy him because that's what freed him? And does that just cause the resentment to pile even higher because she could never allow herself to fall to pieces like that? Because someone has to stay in control. Someone has to keep it together.

Like- he comes trudging through the front door, his eyes are tired. He goes and changes into shorts (because it’s hot as shit out rn) or sweats if it’s a bit chilly. He comes back to you if you’re on the couch or bed and just throws his shirt somewhere and lays on you with his head on your chest. As soon as he lays his head down he closes his eyes and lets out the biggest sigh and smiles then wraps his arms around you. He cuddles more into you when one of your hands plays with his hair and the other gently traces up and down his back and shoulders.

Noah just likes to be babied at the end of the day a little bit because he deals with so much shit that he wants to be able to let go for a bit. He talks to you about his day and wants to hear about yours, he smiles when he hears your laugh come from your chest. Over time he’s falling in and out of sleep while listening to your heartbeat and feeling how warm you are under him. He loves how soft you are too. He can’t even mumble a goodnight or I love you because of how quick he falls asleep.

im so glad that we never get a clear picture of sophie’s background in leverage & i hope we never do. however i also really like making up various, often conflicting backstories for her in my head. perhaps they’re all backstories for an alias of hers, ones she laid to rest back in season two.
