Hey guys! I’m slowly getting better with all my art block, I hope I’ll be able to start again soon ^^

Here’s something I managed to get out of me.

And I’ve made other versions just for you guys if you wanna draw yourselves with Astro.

I did my best, I’m still getting over this block so I might just try out out small sketches until my hand and brain cooperate.

The Main Twisteds being jealous that you're trying to farm for Bassie.

Based off my lovely lovely experience of trying to get Bassie only to get EVERY SINGLE MAIN TWISTED AT LEAST 3 TIMES IN 3 DAYS. Anyway, yes I am alive hello hello, and apologise if any of the twisteds personalitys are not like the canon ones because I suck at writing in character! Reader is GN and doesn't use any pronouns, and Vee, Shelly and pebble are all meant to be seen as platonic. Also you can view them as yanderes or just really possessive.

ASTRO

"Please be- .....you're not Bassie." "Starlight..."

.Stay's as close to you as he can, he already know's who you are looking for -- and so do the rest of the mains. It's not like they hold any personal problems with Bassie, it's merely because they knew you first is all. .Remeber his old blanket? He makes sure that it's always wrapped around you, so when you leave and possible see Bassie -- at least she will know who you are close with. .With the way his hat moves I like to think it's either because A) he can control it or B) it has a mind of it's own -- either way it always ends up wrapping around you when you do the machine's, not that he minds though. you do astro please remove it the Ichor is staining your clothes for the 40th time. "Cuddles? Like we use to?" "Astro you always stain my shirts black with the amount of Ichor-" "......" "Sigh, Fine..." .Four arms equal 4 times the comfort of cuddles, and wrapped in his old blanket? It could almost make you forget about your whole Bassie situation. sadly it didn't but hopefully soon you will finally give up and sleep with him like you use to. .What happens when both him and Bassie are on the same floor? Well you barely see Bassie, it seems like he made it his life mission to keep you two apart whenever he could. .You also swear you hear him grumble everytime you pick up research labled as Bassie's, but at this point you can't distinguish between grumbles and weird purring noises he makes. "You are awfully clingly this time around" "mmm...." "That wasn't an invitation-" "......" "...You know I can't stay mad at you, you cuddlebug" "Mhm.."

VEE

"Vee...Vee this is the 7th time, the 7th time you have shown up." "We can make it 8th" .My darling Vee, the one who never frigging left me -- appeared so many times I got her to 100% in 2 days and she wasn't even on the board once. .She's already standing there when the elevator opens, already waiting for you -- and before you can even get a word in her tail is wrapping around you and she's walking off. "Come on Vee, put me down" "mmmm, nope" .She's talking your ear off about everything and anything, as long as your attention is on her she's over the moon -- though she rarely shows it. .She likes to tease you, with her being insanely taller than you, she uses it to her advantage -- but if she genuinely makes you upset about it she's quick to stop, even throughout all the fun she would never want you to be upset over something she did. .If you compliment her in any way her screen will bug out for a moment before she thanks you -- her voice a bit staticky. Of course you have complimented her before, and so have others, it's just she hasn't had much compliments in this form yet is all. .Somehow she always knows where you are -- what floor you're on, where you are in a blackout, even if she can't make it to the elevator before it arrives, she eventually finds you and picks you up. .You have a small suspicion it's because of her ability but at the same time she's been near you so much you've started to think she's just learn't your habbits. "Do you think I could play games on your screen" "I wouldn't let you test it" "You so would though" "....You might get a virus." "Aw man" .Unlike the others, Vee doesn't really care for Bassie -- in the sense that she won't try to take you to the other side of the map to be away from her. .What she will do though is stay very close to you -- sure you can go to Bassie for whatever reason but make sure to keep your main attention on her, she isn't as possessive as the others. .That's the biggest lie ever, you just don't need to know that or the fact she purposefully kept Bassie off the floors for so long. .If you do spend to much time focusing on Bassie you would hear a sound that's almost like a computer overheating, when you check on Vee she simply raises an eyebrow at your question before saying it's a silly idea, even though both of you can feel heat radiating off her. "Come on, she isn't that bad!" "I know my show star, but that doesn't matter"

SHELLY

"rrrrrr....." "No way, and what happened next?" .Unlike the others Shelly at least tries to help you with the machine, as she tells you -- or at least tries to tell you -- about everything and anything. .In blackouts she makes sure to stay close so you don't bump into anything -- even though she isn't as tall as the other main's, and is usually hunched over, she will try to stand as tall as she can while observing the area. .She love's it when you talk, whether you are talking about something, simply humming or just saying random words. Shelly love's the sound of your voice, and if you don't speak? She just love's being around you, it always makes her tail wag no matter what you do! "How does your tail wag if its just your spine?" "rrrrhhhh?" "Yeah I figured" .She really doesn't like sharing your attention, and it's only worse when you are actively looking for someone else. Don't get it wrong! Deep down she knows it isn't Bassie's fault, but her more protective mindset always seems to win her over. .She use to only growl or roar whenever someone went a little to close to you, but lately she's seem to pick up the habbit of biting people when she gets really mad, causing you to drop everything you are doing and running over to her. .You can't possible decide if she's doing it on purpose for your attention or doing it from protectiveness -- at this point you are more than convinced its at least a bit of both. "I- Shelly- Shelly no- no doN'T BITE HER SHELLY-" "Rrrrr."

SPROUT

"ahusfjhasfhassa" "Sprout I love you dearly but please put me down, the tendrils are cold and wet and-" "hasfsafhhas" "....that didn't mean hold me-" .You thought the others were clingy? Well get ready for mr overprotective here -- he doesn't want you leaving his line of sight, no matter what. .Hmm? You want to collect baskets for the...easter toons? Oh, well it's okay, he can...sort of help with that -- I mean you are only trying to make new friends is all. just don't talk about them to much, he's trying to hold back his possessiveness towards you but he doesn't know how much longer he can take .He can't necessarily voice his complaints but he can sure as hell try, from grumbles to simply picking you up and holding you as close as he could -- he could try to keep you away from the baskets and other twisteds but you seem so adamant about them. .No worries though, he can simply use his tendrils to carefully pick you up and hold you above -- making sure you can't get whatever it is you wanted. You don't like how they feel? No worry! He doesn't mind holding you the whole time. "Sprout, you're like...breathing down my neck right now-" "hsdfiajeidfng" "I just want the baskets..." "Hisdjmfkd!" "I thank you for wanting to bake for me, but I think the ichor would contaminate it-" .God forbid Bassie is on the same floor as you two, there's no way you are even touching the ground with how possessive he becomes -- scarf wrapped around and everything! .What do you mean you need to see Bassie? Don't you know how dangerous it is? and what if he loses sight of you? what if you get hurt, what if- no, the simple answer is no. .But please don't get mad at him! He can't help it! He just wants to protect you is all, it's simply out of his control what happens! "....." "....dfgrf?" "Hmph...." "iodkfjgddf?" "....ugh I can't do this silent treatment anymore, just behave okay?" "sjdngd!"

PEBBLE

"Pebble no- bad dog." "Don't whine at me that's called guilt tripping" .Have you ever wanted a guard dog before? Well now you have a very large and very vicious guard dog, yay! .He's such a happy boy, tail's wagging, he's almost trotting from happiness but that all goes down hill when he notices you paying more attention to the easter twisteds than him. .This causes very loud whining -- the only warning you get before you're jumped by him, causing the both of you to fall down and for him to stay on top of you. not to hard he would never want to hurt his favorite caretaker! .Now you have to play fetch with him! and give him treats galore! Just make sure there's no one around -- he WILL trample over them just to get to you even if you tell him to stop. "I'm such a good pet owner aren't I? Much better than Dandy who can't keep his DOG ON A LEASH" "Pebble with how fast you wag your tail you are going to knock someone out with it, or worse because it's a rock" .You already know Bassie's on the same floor, you can hear his growling and barking from a mile away -- be sure to get to him quickly or else he might just attack the poor basket. .When you get there it's almost like he was never angry -- kew word almost, if it wasn't for the fact he picked you up by the back of your shirt and bringing you somewhere far away from her. .When the two of you are far enough he puts you down before laying his head in your lap and very politely asking for pats for protecting you like a good boy! "Peb-Pebble do not growl and Bassie she didn't do anything wrong-" "PEBBLE PUT ME DOWN YOUR TEETH WILL RIP MY SHIRT"

DANDY

"....okay so I can explain-" "You purposefully wanted this, not that I'm complaining my flower!" .If you were anyone else you would of had a heart attack when you heard Dandy's music coming towards you at max speed -- but you aren't anyone else, and you already know how much favoritism leaks out of that flower. .Whenever you finish a machine -- you are always faced with a smiling rainbow face, his sharp teeth would probably scare others to death but you've seen it so many times it's become normal. .Such a patient gentleman he is, waiting for your signal before pouncing onto of you -- still being mindful of the tapes sticking out of him, making sure none of them accidentally scrape you. "You are such a cat" "Nope! I wouldn't say 'cat'..." "Dandy, you are literally kneading into me." .As long as you give him full permission he will knead on every spot on your body, of course he's careful of his claws -- he would never hurt you. .At most floors you wouldn't even know Bassie was there if it wasn't for her flowers on the ground. Instead of the others avoiding her it seems like she's avoiding you -- well, not YOU persay, rather the toon that follows you. .Say you finally get to see her, you immediately sense the tension in the air before watching Bassie run away as fast as she could on her four, yet small 'legs'. .Turning your attention to Dandy you witness the most deadliest side eye you have ever seen. If this is how he acts when she's not even close to you guys, you think it's best off that you don't get close to her. .You would want the Ichor to be the only physical bad thing that's happened in her life. "omg stop giving the poor girl the side eye" "Hmm? I'm not." "'I'm not a cat' my ass, your eyes literally just dilated when you looked at me."

ODDITY

his face glows- specifically the crescent. its not so much an oddity as in a "thats weird" way, more so in a "oh this is different, something to get used to," way. its not inconvenient, but sometimes it makes your eyes blur when it suddenly brightens in the darkness... and usually the light only intensifies when hes really feeling some emotions- when hes flustered in some way

another odd thing about him is that he can sleep anywhere- he can probably sleep standing up if he were tired enough... and lord knows hes always at least a little tired

..he... might have startled you by suddenly just. being there asleep where you werent expecting it- he doesnt mean to doze off in random places! it just happens he swears!

XRAY

he can read you fairly well. of course hes no mind reader but he can tell when theres something on your mind just by looking at you for a few seconds. the way you carry yourself or the way your jaw moves when you speak

and when your body language doesnt give any clues? your dreams can be a good indicator of if theres something going on in your life- of course, he will influence your dream if it looks like you need a break from the stress

but hes not afraid to outright ask if theres something on your mind if the other two routes fail, he at least gives you the dignity and chance to come forward with something yourself

Astro X Reader fluff oneshot

Heyoo!

Hope you enjoy this little one-shot. I wasn’t quite sure if you wanted platonic or romantic. So I made it so it could be interpreted in either or! And thank you for your patience 💗

You lay in your bed staring at the ceiling, you couldn’t sleep. This has happened more times than you could count, the torturous cycle seemed to keep going. 

You let pout a groan, wanting to stay in bed but knowing darn well you wouldn’t get any sleep just laying here. Pushing your covers off of you, getting out of bed with a groan. Doing what quickly became a routine, you tiptoe to your door. Opening it softly in order to not wake anyone up. 

Closing the door, you tiptoe to Astro’s room. His door was already creaked open. “Astro..?” You whisper, mimicking a knock on the wall. A sleepy voice lets out a tired “Come in��” 

You open the door wider and step inside. Astro is huddled under this covers, currently viewing his friend Shelly’s dream where she’s taming velociraptors. “Can’t sleep I’m guessing?” 

He asks, his view of the dream disappearing into a blue fog. When you nod he scoots over to allow you some room on his bed. You lazily flop onto the mattress, adjusting the blankets to cover you.

He opens his blanket, becoming you to enter his embrace. You slide into him, his arms closing in around you. The only time you or any other toon were aloud to see his arms is whenever you either couldn’t sleep or needed comfort. 

Luckily, you were one of the toons Astro trusted the most. So he was a bit more willing and used to showing you his arms, even if it’s only for a brief second. You set your chin on his shoulder, letting out a content hum.

Astro traces random shapes onto your back, your eyes begin to grow heavier to the point you feel you can’t keep them open anymore. Your eyes begin to close and eventually your body goes limp in Astro’s arms.

Your breaths even out and you eventually feel sleep overtake you. That last thing you hear before falling asleep is Astro’s calming voice letting out a small “Goodnight.”

“Mmm…”

A groan left Astros mouth as his eye slowly opened.

He slowly sat up and stretched out his arms, he looked tired and annoyed. Why the heck did he of all people have to wake up in the middle of the night, couldn’t his brain just let him rest?!

Oh…whatever, it’s not like it’s hard for him to just go back to bed. He sighed as he slowly laid back down, reaching for his lo-

Wait…

“Y/n…?”

Astro whispered

He was so tired he hadn’t even noticed that you weren’t in the bed.

“Y/n!”

He had started to panic. He quickly jumped out of bed and ran out of his room to find you.

He started by looking to see if you had went back to your room.

Astro went to your door, he raised a hand out of his blanket, hesitating, before knocking quietly on it.

“Starlight…are you in there…?”

He whispered quietly, as to not wake up the other toons.

No response.

He sighed, before turning and heading to the other mains rooms. Besides him, they were the only other toons you really hung out with, surely they would know where you were at! right? right?!

Astro knocked on the door of a certain strawberry.

The door swung open and Astro was greeted by a very unhappy Sprout.

“Astro…why are you up dude…?”

“Sprout, I apologize for disturbing you but…I woke up and I couldn’t find y/n next to me, do you know where they could have gone?”

“Sorry, I don’t have a clue….hope you find them tho”

Before Astro could even say a word, Sprout had closed the door to his room and went back to bed.

“Alright…thanks…”

Astro sighed and glumly walked away from Sprouts door, heading to the other mains rooms.

“No, I haven’t, sorry”

“Don’t know don’t care”

“Sorry bud, haven’t seen em”

“Arf!”

After questioning every main and getting no answer, or even a clue, Astro had begone to panic even more.

“Where could you have gone….?” “Why were you up so late?” “Did something happen…did you get hurt?? Or taken?!”

These were all thoughts that ran through his mind as he speed walked through the sleepy halls of garden view.

Finally after what felt like hours he had found you.

You were sitting in the center of garden view, resting your back on the giant tree with your head in your arms and knees.

“Starlight..!” Astro had yelled in a whisper.

He ran over to you, happy and relieved to see you after so lo-

Wait…were you…crying…?

“Y/n…?”

You sniffled, not answering and turning your head away from him.

Astro slowly walked over to you and sat down.

“What’s wrong…?”

“Nothing…just…go back to bed…”

He sat there for a moment.

“I refuse to just leave while you’re sitting here crying…you don’t have to talk immediately, but when you’re ready, I’m here…”

His tone was soft, comforting and inviting.

After a few moments, you felt ready enough to talk to Astro.

You leaned your head against his shoulder, wiping your tears and still sniffling.

One of his arms had escaped from his cornflower blanket and draped itself around your waist.

“Ready…?”

“Mhm…”

“Good…now, what happened Starlight?”

“Nightmare…”

There was a moment of silence before a small giggle left Astros lips.

“It’s not funny…”

“I’m not laughing at you…it’s just…you coulda just came to me instead of making me go on a wild goose chase…”

You fidgeted around with your hands.

“I didn’t wanna bother you…you were sleeping so peacefully”

“Y/n, you wouldn’t be bothering me, dealing with peoples dreams is my JOB…”

You both stayed silent for a moment.

“You’re right…I’m sorry”

You leaned more into his body, laying on his chest as he wrapped more arms around your own body.

“It’s fine.”

You both stared into space for a few moments, enjoying the peace and quiet of gardenview.

You had slowly started to calm down even more, no longer sniffling and instead letting out slow peaceful breaths.

“Do you wanna tell me what the nightmare was about..?”

“It’s kinda dumb…I don’t want you to laugh at me”

“I’ve dealt with very strange nightmares, and never once have I laughed at the person having them”

Astro could see that you still seemed hesitant.

“Y’know…one time Cosmo burst into my room crying because of a dream he had where cupcakes were chasing after him, trying to eat him.”

You let out a small laugh. Astro smiled, happy to see you somewhat happy.

He continued.

“Despite how silly it sounded, I could see how much it genuinely terrified him. So I sat with him and listened, without laughing once, you could ask him if you like”

He slowly removed one of his arms from your body and placed it underneath your chin, tilting it slowly upward so that you could look at him.

“I’m not going to laugh at you, I promise, I’m not that kind of toon”

You hesitated for a moment before sighing and nodding your head.

“the dream started with me in a room, it was pitch black, I couldn’t see a thing”

“Mhm…”

“I called out to see if anyone was there, but No one would answer, so I decided to walk around and see if I could find something…someone”

“Right…”

“I did end up finding…something…”

You were silent, you weren’t entirely sure that you wanted to continue.

Astro had noticed your hesitance. He gently took your hand into his, stroking the back of it in a soothing way, wanting you to feel comfortable.

“I found…you…”

Astro had paused his movements for a moment.

“Oh…?”

“Yeah…but like…it wasn’t you…”

He nodded.

“Could you explain, please…?”

You sat there for a moment and then nodded.

“You were…taller, your eyes were red and there was this black stuff all over you…maybe it was ink.”

Astro had started to look worried.

“Go on…”

“You looked really aggressive, eventually you had even started to chase me”

Tears started to well up in your eyes, you turned your head away.

“Sorry, that was a pretty dumb thing to be so afraid of”

Astro was now eerily silent, he started to look somewhat nervous.

“I’m sorry” he suddenly blurted out

You were confused. You wipes your tears and looked over at him.

“What for?”

Astro didn’t answer. He didn’t wanna talk about how your dreams were starting to get affected by his worries…his secrets. He felt guilty that you were losing sleep because of him.

“I-I’m sorry that you had to go through that…I’m sorry that you felt like you couldn’t come and talk to me.”

He held your body closer to his.

“It’s not dumb, I would be afraid too if I saw something like that happen to you…dream or not.”

You both stayed silent yet again. A small smile appeared on your face as you wrapped your hands around Astros waist.

“Thanks for letting me talk”

“Of course.”

“….”

“How about some late night hot chocolate…?”

“That sounds nice actually”

You both let out a small laugh.

Astro let go of you and sat himself up carefully walking off of the big tree area and heading to the kitchen.

You got up as well, following his lead.

“Astro”

“Hm…?”

“…love you…”

He stopped in his tracks, before looking over at you with a small smile.

“Love you too Starlight…”

Trapped With Twisteds (Part 2)

There was an ask sent in for a part two but this one was already in the drafts, so here it is!

For a better chance of getting away you should be a distractor, with a higher speed and more stamina, there's a higher chance of getting away when slowed.

It’s not guaranteed though, with him giving you slowness he’s much more likely to get his many hands on you.

Almost always holding onto you, or at least touching you in some way. It gives him a little comfort knowing that you’re right there with him.

Tends to wrap you up in his blanket, as it’s become a bit too small for him to use. So he’ll wrap you up and carry you around.

Whenever toons enter his floor while you’re with him, he won’t wander around like normal, instead he hangs around the room he’s dedicated to you. Only chasing toons to keep them away.

Tends to not sleep around you, he’s learnt quite quickly that it gives you nightmares. So she’ll sit or lay next to you, watching you sleep. During this time when there's no one else around, he finds every pillow, blanket, everything comfy, to bring back for you.

While he tends to use his ichor arms to attack other toons, he makes sure to keep them away from you. Only using his real arms to do anything with you, either reaching for you or pulling you into his grasp.

Due to him being Boxten, he’s not the most graceful, especially as a twisted. So it’s likely he’ll drop some drops of ichor on you and doesn’t realise most of the time.

Ties a spare bandana somewhere on you, whether it’s around your own neck like his, or tied somewhere else. Honestly he doesn’t mind, as long as he can see it.

Still tries to play music whenever you sleep, he’ll sit or stand next to you and start playing. But due to the amount of ichor in his head, it’s very faint. Constantly drowned out by the thick liquid, but if you listen carefully you can hear the faint song.

It is quite easy to avoid being caught by her, and avoiding her in general. But when she does notice you, there's a small chance of escaping her.

It’s also more likely that the floor you’re trapped on is in a blackout, so unless you can well in the dark, you’ll be tripping over everything.

She uses this to her advantage, as she knows the layout, she’ll corner you in a dead end or a small room.

One of the few twisted that would leave you alone to chase a toon, but in her mind it’s to keep you safe. If the toon is away from you then you’re fine, even if she’s not there.

Tries her best not to get ichor on you, it’s a little hard with a hand fully covered in the liquid. But you can tell she’s trying. (Is that heartwarming or are you becoming soft?)

Is constantly following you around, tries not to chase any toons. But if they get to close or hang around for too long then he’s gone. Tries his best to come back as quickly as possible though.

Some part of him is still in there, so when you get injured he’ll try to heal you. Except it doesn’t work, it only ends up with him finding a medkit or bandage for you.

Can’t bake in this state anymore, so he does the next best thing, finding any type of food on the floor. He doesn’t realise when any have gone bad, but also means he’ll just kinda grab anything around.

So the other toons quickly learn when Cosmo is on a floor, if there's little to no items around, then he’ll be there.

Gave you his bracelet when you were first trapped, it’s a small yet effective way to show that you’re his.

At the start he will use his ribbon to keep you with him and often in one spot. But depending on how well you respond, the quicker he stops, although he will give you a piece of the ribbon to keep on you.

If other toons ever enter his floor, you’re the full time babysitter whether they realise it nor not. Glisten tries to keep you in one area, which keeps him away from the toons.

He panics when you leave his sight, similar to ingame when he’s left alone, but it goes down much quicker. Ignores everyone and everything else to find you.

Is constantly leaking ichor, but he tries his hardest to keep it off you. Although it will happen at some point, which makes him slightly panic trying to clean it off.

Is really affectionate though, tries to keep you in his arms or just in arms reach.

☁ The dynamic of this alone is something I'd like to touch on especially because it's so fun to me.

☁ I imagine if anything the reader would be a common toon, so that changed things. You have two mains, Astro and Sprout, and two commons, yourself and Cosmo.

☁ You and Cosmo probably meet first because of that. You get close because of similar interests and stay close during runs.

☁ To add an extra layer to this, imagine Distactor! Reader too? Licking my fingers at this.

☁ Cosmo thought he had just gotten a new friend! He loves giving them treats and using them as a taste tester and even taking naps together wherever possible! It's great!

☁ Until...it's not? Why are you taking off? Why do the trinkets hooked onto your belt look suspiciously like the ones Goob and Tisha are known to use? Why are you actively getting the Twisteds attention?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

☁ The first time he sees you distract is a little stressful for poor Cosmo. The second you're back in the elevator and it clinks shut, he is whirling on you and demanding an explanation.

☁ He's so exasperated that he's left speechless when you simply smile up at him, still high off adrenaline, while talking a mile a minute about how much fun that was.

☁....Are you insane?

☁ That being said, after the fact, Cosmo is literally your personal healer. He is constantly fighting Toodles the other toons for heals, not for himself, not really, but so he's never left with nothing to give you.

☁ That's probably when he realizes he has an initial crush on you. He's mid-way through using a med-kit on you, on a floor high enough he can see the running starting to effect you. You're sluggish and fatigued and can't chug pop fast enough. It makes his chest ache at the sight before he's swallowing his nerves and wrapping his arms around you.

☁ "You're doing great. Thank you for the work you do."

☁ Feeling you melt against him made every grueling floor worth it in that moment. The draining yank of his own health leaving him to go to you through every new treat was far beyond repaid. He would do it a million times over for you if only for a smidge chance at this moment again.

☁ The run was finished soon after that, and you were quick to express your thanks towards him after that. Safe to say, if you thought he was clingy before, that was nothing. It's like he literally took an invisible chain and connected it between you two and you just haven't found it yet.

☁ He's always there with a smile and a treat and a snuggle if time and twisteds permit.

☁ Now, some world building for ya. I imagine that the OG Twisteds of the mains you see, are the real mains until that research is completed. Then Dandy lets you purchase an...un-twist antidote or something and that's when they come back. It's fun to me >:(.

☁ Following this, most people are gonna assume Sprout comes first.

☁ WRONG. I got Astro first so guess whose coming back. Astro.

☁ When Astro comes back, he's evidently shaken by the whole ordeal. The mains probably didn't know the commons overly well unless they were explicitly paired together. Like Sprout and Cosmo in that one animation, or Glisten and Vee, etc. Astro isn't seen with any commons, as far as I know, so he's probably a little lost and feels like an outsider.

☁ While he's recovering he's banned from any runs. Point blank period. However, that means he's alone while the commons are all out scavenging for research.

☁ Guess who comes in? Guess :)

☁ It's you!

☁ Unlike Cosmo, there are other distracting toons. Tisha and Goob both are more than happy to take some shifts while you stay back to recover yourself. Unfortunately, there's only one Cosmo, so he's left going on the runs as a healer and leaving you behind. You always see him off though, giving him pecks on the cheek before he's stepping into the elevator.

☁ You take the time to wander through Gardenview, eyeing each room as you pass before blinking at the infirmary. The new toon was in there.

☁ Astro half expected you to just continue on, regardless of if he was there or not. He was fine on his own, even if it wasn't his favorite. It reminded him too much of when he was... Of before.

☁ But you poked the top of your head in the doorway, your eyes being the only part of you visible. He blinked at the action, making eye contact. Your head tilted at the action and his own mirrored it. It made you giggle as you disappeared back around the door.

☁ Despite it, Astro found himself smiling at the action. what an odd toon you were.

☁ He never heard your footsteps disappear however, stunning himself when you popped your eyes back in, gleaming with mischief. The rest of you stepped in right after, pressing a finger to your lips with a humorous little wink. "Wanna sneak into the kitchen and steal some cookies?"

☁ Needless to say, he found himself in the kitchen, sitting beside you with a cookie jar shaped like a suspicious, rainbow petal'd plant sat between you munching on cookies that looked a little too familiar for comfort.

☁ You filled the silence whenever something popped into your brain, talking about things you felt he should know for whatever reason. He now knew all about Rodger and Glisten and Teagan's tension, which he wouldn't have guessed, and all about Gigi's...problem with misplaced objects. He even knew about your own rumors that laid hushed in the walls, spoken like they were about someone else.

☁ "Yeah! People keep saying Cosmo and I are a thing but he's never asked so until then, that's a no."

☁ He hummed at the time, even if some part of him felt a bit relieved at the information.

☁ By the time he was cleared to go on runs, you were bouncing up and down by his side excitedly, trinkets clinking from where you had hooked them onto your waist, with Cosmo excitedly grinning behind you.

☁ He liked seeing you two like that.

☁ Now. Sprout. Mr. Seedly.

☁ He's last to join. Astro helps with this tremendously. When you're downed from a surprise Shrimpo attack, clutching your arm as Ichor pooled over, Cosmo is quick to try and jump in to help, only for a twisted clone of himself to turn and lock in onto him.

☁ As much as I love to proclaim "Distractor! Cosmo!" he's not actually a distractor. So, he has to run to lose the twisteds quickly before getting bit himself. This is where Astro comes in. Not only does he quickly re-energize both you and Cosmo, he is able to give you a momentary heal, letting you run off, air horn blazing, while hiding in the back to turn his attention to Cosmo.

☁ Whatever pieces you or Cosmo may lose, Astro picks up. Yet, not all of them seem to click into place just yet.

☁ When the elevator stills and you all hear the telltale steps, Astro is quick to grab your shoulders and spit all sorts of warnings. "Watch the tentacles. You'll know where they're going to appear. Don't try to test them. It's not worth it." "He's slow but don't take that for advantage. He will find a way to keep up." "Ignore every other twisted. We can handle them."

☁ Blinking, he watched you slowly nod before blinking and giving a much more firm acknowledgement. "Understood."

☁ When the elevators opened, Astro watched as you quickly got Sprout's attention, darting around a budding pile of ichor before sharply turning the other way. The reason why quickly became apparent when a twisted Teagan turned the corner, which Goob quickly took away.

☁ Nodding to himself, Astro found himself turning to face Cosmo, who looked terrified at the what just happened. Did he look that way when Astro was...That way with him? He hoped not.

☁ Frowning, he gripped his blanket tighter before letting out a breath, extending one of his hands through the opening towards Cosmo. The other looked at it with wide eyes before his eyes upturned to look at Astro's. "I'll stay with you the entire time."

☁ They had to follow you after all.

☁ They stayed a good distance away from where you and Goob were distracting (which was rather entertaining to watch actually), grabbing capsules wherever possible and tossing healing treats to you both as you passed.

☁ It was a rather seamless process actually up until the elevator timer began, sending the other toons of the squad running. Cosmo, who had been waiting for Astro to finish the last machine, seemed to halt before Astro was urging him forward, steeling himself to stay behind. "They'll run out of stamina before getting to the elevator. We'll be fine!"

☁ Albeit hesitantly, Cosmo did turn and run, finding safety next to Rodger while Astro stayed a ways away outside. Goob was quick to return, free of twisteds, but looking no less stressed. "They were far! Sprout cut off their exit!" Goob quickly explained, twiddling his fingers in front of him.

☁ Astro nodded before instructing him to stand in the elevator as well just in case.

☁ As the seconds ticked down, Astro was seconds away from stepping just far enough to remain out of Goob's range just in case when you came skidding around a corner. He could tell you were running on low as you kept looking back, narrowly avoiding Sprout's clawed grasp. Waiting until you were close enough, he let his power thrum along the ground, watching as you immediately perked up.

☁ Goob took this as a signal, or maybe you gave him one, as you quickly moved to push Astro forward, right into the awaiting arms as you continued towards the elevator. Just as the elevator began to close, you dove, making it just under the steel metal as it slammed shut behind you.

☁ You were panting as you laid on the ground, the entire elevator silent save for your heavy breaths and the sound of Dandy preparing for his arrival.

☁ Cosmo was quick to jump onto you, hurling threats of no more heals if you ever tried anything like that ever again. You took it with grace, gently resting a hand on his head as he cried into your shoulder. Your eyes angled back, catching his and extending your free hand. "You can't fool me. I know that scared you too."

☁ If Astro moved forward to take your hand, sitting close enough to you his knees brushed your shoulders.

☁ You had gotten what you needed though, evident with the glower Dandy shot at you, hidden behind a plastic smile.

☁ Getting Sprout back was harder than getting Astro back, admittedly. You had explained that when getting a main back, you kept most of the toons behind simply for everyone's sake. Distractors, Cosmo and fast extractors was where you drew the line.

☁ Which Astro understood. But didn't like. However, that being said, his power made him a valuable asset, which he used to argue his point. When you acquiesced, he nearly cheered, triumphantly trekking into the elevator with Cosmo by his side.

☁ To say this was like the previous runs, but on some sort of crack would be an understatement. It was fast. It was grueling. It was a thing of constant motion with machines constantly being done and the elevator a repeating pattern of opening and closing.

☁ There were no jokes like usual. There was no chatting. There was a new tension among the people in the elevator, simply waiting for the countdown before starting it all over again.

☁ Cosmo ensured he stuck beside Astro the entire time, remaining a rock the entire time while you were busy. They kept close enough they could rush to you should the need arise, and have a few times, but stayed within hands reach of each other.

☁ By the time they reached floor 24, with all of you tired and injured to some extent, the sound of his steps were both a welcome reprieve and a dreaded expectation.

☁ You were the one trusted with the serum, clutching it tightly as you glared at the elevator before you were turning to look at Cosmo and Astro over your shoulder. "Stay safe, please. Don't wait for me."

☁ It was a harrowing ask, but not one they could linger on as the elevator opened and you took off.

☁ But then the lights went out.

☁ And then they heard Sprout let out a shrill roar signaling he spotted you.

☁ Then they heard the snarling of Pebble signaling he too also spotted you.

☁ That was all they needed before the group of them dispersed, eager to complete the machines as quick as possible before you paid the price for their lack of action.

☁ One by one each ticked off before the elevator was reopening and they all rushed back to the elevator. Goob, Cosmo and Astro stood right up at the lip of the elevator, eyes darting for you. You appeared much quicker, both Pebble and Sprout on your heels as you did.

☁ You dropped a quick smoke bomb, loosing both of their attentions as you quickly rounded around a counter. Pebble let out a snarl as he ran off in the other direction. He didn't get far before hearing you move and it was like a movie.

☁ You moved, launching at Sprout with the Serum poised and ready while Pebble snarled, rushing to catch you. You managed to catch Sprout, digging the spout of the needle into his neck before being chucked off, making you scramble as you quickly darted back around the counter. Astro let his power thrum as Goob snapped his arms out, Cosmo catching you as you ran into the elevator while Goob's arms snapped back. The elevator snapped shut as Glisten moved to end the run and send the elevator back up, both you and Cosmo moving to where Goob cradled an ichor riddle body.

☁ You quickly let Cosmo do what he needed too, diverging to wrap your arms around Astro, who's eyes were locked onto Sprout.

☁ He spent the night with you and Cosmo, both of which he dragged out of your rooms to sleep in his that night.

☁ Sprout's recovery is quicker than Astro's, as he's a toon made for healing. He's up and bitching before any of you can stop him.

☁ Cosmo is his first stop, duh, they're canonically very close, with Astro a close second as he would know the other main. But you? Sprout's got no idea who you are.

☁ So he's a little stand-offish. He sees you interacting with Cosmo and sees you with Astro, and both seem to thoroughly enjoy your company, but he also saw you when he was a twisted.

☁ You were a dumbass if he had anything to say about it.

☁ You'd see someone way down a hallway and risk running into a wall to avoid them getting maybe even possibly spotted. He'd seen you eat enough chocolate bars to make him sake just to stay just in front of Pebble. He'd seen you slip on a stray jumper cable only to get right back up and do the same thing when you rounded around.

☁ He wasn't sure he wanted that rubbing off on him.

☁ But you stuck around. When Cosmo wanted to bake, you were the first to get a bit of the final product. When Astro wanted a nap, you were right there with a blanket, acting as a pillow while you napped with him.

☁ Even on runs, you were quick to come to his aid, taking back the twisteds once he'd gotten his aggro-tapes. All with a stupid smile.

☁ He kind of hated that smile.

☁ Man this is getting LONGGG

☁ Anyway, how would you and Sprout bond? Uh, the common denominators silly!

☁ You were injured on a previous run, bad enough to warrant bed rest decrees from both Cosmo AND Astro. Lucky you!

☁ Sprout had only been cleared for basic runs and this was another possible retrieval run, which you heavily protested against with not only you injured but your second healer still on probation.

☁ Still, they went on with it. You and Sprout were left in the infirmary, awkward silence settling between you. Neither of you knew what to say from there. Your buffers were gone.

☁ With a huff, you sat up, running a hand down your face before turning to face Sprout. Who was watching you.

☁ He watched you like a hawk, watching as you swung your feet off the bed and slowly stood like a shaky new born fawn. "Cosmo's not gonna like that."

☁ You snorted at him, falling back onto the bed only to try again. Sprout's eyes narrowed as he scoffed. "Astro's not gonna like it either."

☁ You snorted again, finally finding your standing before turning to look at him, narrowing your eyes at him. "Are you coming with me to get cookies or not?"

☁ ...well, he can't say he didn't warn you. He did follow you to go get treats, acting as a crutch along the way simply for the reason he didn't want to wait for you to hobble along.

☁ That was the only reason.

☁ By the time you both got to the kitchen, munching on treats, you had picked up a fun back and forth with each other, trading quips as you dug into the cookie jar once more. You pulled out the last cookie, offering it to him.

☁ He looked at it before shaking his head, only for you to roll your eyes and split it in two. He took it with a grumble, scoffing. "I made them I can make more."

☁ "Gonna make them with Astro's face again?" You shot back with a grin, nibbling onto your own half.

☁ He gave an affronted gasp before the ding of the elevator was making you both look over, Sprout giving you a hand to welcome back the group. They hadn't been gone very long, so it either went very well or not well at all.

☁ It turned out be neither. The run had been called as they were unable to fall into a rhythm and Scraps and Brightney had gotten into quite the altercation.

☁ Both you and Sprout find yourselves looked for Cosmo and Astro, only to find them chatting near the entrance, completely fine. There's a moment between you and hi m, where you both side eye each other before you're reaching out and shoving him. Without trinkets you two are practically the same speed, only he has you outmatched with stamina.

☁ Which was his only hope as he stumbled, not expecting the dirty play, watching you take off towards them. He quickly caught up trying to shove you only for you to dodge him with a laugh.

☁ He knew he should've distracted more. He had gotten complacent with Pebble and was now paying the price for it. He should've known you were a dirty filthy cheater. He should've guessed.

☁ In a last ditch effort he launched himself at you, making you squawk as you both rolled forward, giving both Cosmo and Astro little time before the two of you collided into them sending the four of you into a heap of undignified limbs and cackles.

"Astro, I know you're worried, but... I got this." There was a strain in your voice, Your words a muted whisper as ichor flows through the tubes and into the machine in front of you. You had been extraching for hours. Every new machine you'd come across on each floor slowing down your pace much more than you were prepared for.

"Be careful... Too loud.." Each word he spoke ended with a sound almost akin to that of gargling. The ichor stuck in his throat making it harder for him to tell voice his worries. And so, his sentences were often too short. In worse cases, he sounded incoherent. His body was hovering just beside you, his gaze switching from corridor to corridor as he kept his two top hands in a continuous fidgeting motion.

You knew he was talking about the sound that would occur if you failed. Ever since you had found yourself on this floor, Astro had seemed to follow you around like a lost dog. He was never farther than two feet away, and even when you needed the room, he would still stay planted in your presence. Each machine you worked on, he'd give you the same warning.

Soon, the ichor had filled the machine completely. The black substance stuffed it until there was no room for even the smallest pocket of air. And, once your hands removed themselves from the red valve, the warmth returning to your fingertips, you turned back to face him.

You wasted no time letting your palms cradle the sides of his face. The stream of ichor streaming down onto you and staining your hands with its tar-like substance. He almost flinched under your touch. His body twitching slightly, freezing under your touch before relaxing. Despite how slow your movement was, it didn't take long before you were guiding his face down.

That was made Astro start to care. Not about you, per say.

But definitely about your trashy sleep schedule that he desperately needs to fix.

He didn't have many passion projects, but you were going to be a welcome first.

He would make sure you actually would sleep at night.

He could ignore the complaints the others voiced at him forcing you to log off and go to sleep, them getting attached to you.

Astro didn't care. He just wanted to make sure you slept.

He didn't even notice he was getting attached.

Astro was the one who heard all of Dandy's rambles about you.

He was a little scared by his friend's obsession with you, worrying for the flower who seemed to crave you.

Craving wholly and entirely you.

Astro tried not to bring up his concerns, especially when Dandy was so gleeful that Astro was putting in so much effort to ensure you had a healthy sleep schedule.

Dandy was just gleeful, his closest friend also liked you.

Astro tried to pretend that he didn't like you, that he didn't understand why his friends and the Toons around him were growing obsessed, that images of you didn't haunt him when he slept and made him crave to have the real you with him.

He was lying to himself.

But Astro didn't pretend to dislike you.

Yes, there were things about you he didn't adore, such as your rashness, stubbornness, and self-hatred.

But your positives far outweighed your negatives.

You were flawed, but these flaws only made the beautiful parts of you more amazing.

He mentioned to Goob and Scraps art projects you wanted to try? He found them working on figuring out how to do it themselves so they could teach you.

He told Shelly your favorite dinosaur- huh? She already knew..?

Weird. She doesn't seem willing to explain why she knows anyway. He decides not to ask more if she refuses to tell.

But he does worry a bit now...

Especially since everyone is getting as clingy and obsessive over you as Dandy is...

Astro/ Sprout X fem!reader

ASTRO

I think of him of being tad bit clingy when he isn't the one that woke up early. Beside, he isn’t that ready for the day.

"Just 5 minutes, please..." He begs, arms tighten around your waist as he snuggles close to you, drowning in your scent.

Morning isn't his strong suit, so expect him to sigh dramatically when you drag his blanket. He actually would prefer if he has some days off with you, but your encouragement seems to wake him up. He would groggily rubbing his eyes with his blanket, a tired smile on his face.

I thought of him being a light sleeper due to him taking care of children and assuring that their dreams always remain blissful as possible. So any cries of the children would wake him up in no time.

Although, sometimes if he was the one that woke up early, he would plant a kiss on your forehead. Morning kisses is a nice way to start the day, along with some foods that he had bought for you.

"Morning, Starlight. Are you ready?"

SPROUT

Would be an early bird, shut up, letme think.

I think of him snoring a bit loud, like okay, he simply just tired. You had to understand that! Do not attempt to make fun of him

Sprout has a lot of tricks up his sleeve when you aren't planning to wake up any sooner. He'd use your favorite food as a excuse to annoy you any further.

"Ah, too bad that my girlfriend won't be able to eat her favorite food! I guess I had to dump it into the trash." He snickers, poking your cheek.

You would groan, swatting his hand away

Gives you a peck on the forehead along with his usual grin. Stupid idiot would smile like a child that receives many candies. DO NOT EVER MISS THE WAY HE WOULD BLOW A KISS AT YOU

Pretty boy? He would typically refer to himself as distinguished and dapper... not that he's going to shut you down on your wording! He very much appreciates it!

Will be thinking about it for hours, his glass lightly fogged in his own form of blush. Each moment when he's not actively doing something he's replaying your words

Straightens his jabot out when you initially call him pretty boy- a habit of his when you compliment him or give him affection

ASTRO

It takes him a moment to respond. It's not so much that it takes him a minute to process... just needs to figure out how to feel...

Pretty? Him... gee, thanks... and that isn't sarcasm! He just sometimes has trouble expressing his emotions/putting them into his voice!

Hc that his face Cresent glows when he's flustered or happy. That's the giveaway that tells you he's over the moon (ha)

GOOB

Hc that he has a little tail and it goes nuts when you call him pretty boy!! He's absolutely BEAMING! He's more so used to you calling him a cutie, or cutie patootie, but pretty boy is also sweet!

100% he hand stims (shaking followed by dragging them over his face/holding his cheeks) before pulling you into a hug

Notes: This is my first yandere fic it might not be the best sorry! but i hope you enjoy reading! also i couldnt get the images to work so i just didnt add them..

A smile would grace your face as you finished your fourth machine, two more to go! This was your last floor till you were able to finally go back up. You snickered abit at the thought of being able to brag about how to gotten to such a high floor all by yourself AND finally being able to sleep.

Venturing off to find your second to last machine, noticing a twisted Cosmo approaching you quickly hid behind two boxes and a shelf. Sitting there for abit you peeked to see if Cosmo was gone. This caused you to fail to notice a certain sleepy twisted approaching you.

Closing your eyes and sighing thinking that the coast is clear, you twirled around just to be grabbed by the throat at slammed against the wall. Your head would hurt as you writhed trying to escape its grasp though Astro being the stronger one was unphased by your attempts.

Thrashing and kicking and yelling you grasped the hand around your neck and pulled on it hoping his grip would lighten. Your panic filled eyes would meet tearful ones, recognizing them. tears gathered in your eyes you choked out "S-Stop! Stop Astro!" you pleaded so fearful you forgot that this wasn't your friend.

Hearing this put a thought in his ichor fogged head making him remember.. something. Although he could slightly remember it. You had stopped him with a worried look in your face , although he couldn't remember anymore than that. What he did know is remembering it made him feel.. something.

He felt warm.. warm like... a hug.. -wait a hug? This thought caused a picture to finally resurface, of you hugging him. This made his hand loosen and fall to his side. You fell to the ground and scrambled to catch your breath.

As your breathing somewhat calmed you quickly got up and ran. This would cause him to come back to his senses. No.. you couldn't leave.. he loved you so much.. he yearned for you to hug him again.. he yearned.. for you, he would make sure you NEVER left. As you ran trying to find a place to hide still trying to catch your breath you failed to notice you were running toward a research capsule.

As you approached it you finally noticed it, you were too late and tripped over it. Falling to the ground, before you could even try to get back up four arms picked you up rendering you helpless. Struggling in his hold trying to get out as he turned you toward himself. You looked at him sobbing thinking that you'd never see your friends again. To him you always looked so beautiful even when your crying like this.

You looked cute crying, but he was sure you'd look even better with a grin. Using on of his hands pat your head and the other to cup your cheek and wipe away your tears. It felt so good to be in your embrace once more.

You slowly stopped trying to get out realizing that wasn't gonna work. "It's okay.. everything's okay now.." he said bringing you closer to him. It was good you stopped trying, it was always gonna be useless. No matter how much you ran he would always catch you. He hoped this meant you loved him too. You would forever be in his arms.
