hello!!!! I just want to start with, i love your twitter <3 and your account in general love seeing your tweets on the tl!
what would be the best ways to being to have a better understanding of the basics of astrology, like study methods? Not even just for beginners but maybe ways to study it as i continue to learn more if that makes sense?
Thank you so much for your compliment! <3
Regarding how to have a better continuous study of astrology, I highly recommend striking a balance between book knowledge & practical, lived knowledge. Here's a list of things I think could enhance a synthesis of astrology in your life:
Keep a journal. Johannes Kepler had a sort of diary where he wrote down events he experienced and their astrological correlations. I often do the same with my own journal, where I write the date and time I start writing about my day. I remember recording that I got a new job when a New Moon occurred in my 6th house, and another New Moon here brought me my current pet.
Make predictions. I understand that it's very difficult to trust your instinct when it seems that past predictions have failed or never seem to land, but as you practice, your understanding of the cosmos as it's applied to your own life will become clearer with time. For example, what do you think this incoming Aquarius New Moon co-present with Mercury will bring to you based on the house it falls, natal planets it could aspect, and whether one of those planets is your timelord?
Join a community. One of the greatest ways to learn is through communal interaction! Many astrologers will debate on whether or not a profession is indicated between one planet and the next. Others will share their advanced techniques, inspiring you to learn. Others will share example charts, talk about their own life events, and more. It's an excellent way to learn by asking questions and engaging with discussions.
Engage with other astrologer's projects. Many astrologers are incredibly creative, launching podcasts, blogs, manuals, hosting seminars, and more. There's lots of free resources for you to skim through; from skyscript, the astrology podcast, and more. Be nosy!
Learn traditional astrology. This one is an underrated gem, in my opinion. My first suggestion would be Demetra George's two-part volume on Traditional Astrology or Chris Brennan's Hellenistic Astrology are great picks.
Overall; don't be afraid to launch yourself head-first into the community! There's thousands of resources, books, and astrologers who've collaborated over time and provided us with incredible research across many countries, time periods and cultures. Go crazy and explore this vastness, and soon you're bound to feel much more secure in your path.

Adult question
I was really interested in those seduction asteroids. I looked through almost all of them. Then I saw that most of them are in my 1OH! And I have also an asteroid in my 1H of that.
I went checking my persona charts MC, Industria and Enterprise. MC didn't have anything really but in enterprise they're in the 1H and in Industria they're in the 1H, 10H, 7H but only that.
Am I going to be a sex worker? I mean I'm not against that but I'm kinda...

Astrology Questions #1
If Saturn symbolizes restriction, authority, control, limitations and so on, why does Saturn exalt in Libra, ruled by Venus, a planet- or an archetype, of pleasure and self-indulgence?
Can the answer be: self-indulgence and pleasure are the themes of the 5th house, ruled by the Sun, but we don’t know how to interpret the Sun in that case, because astrology is perceived as Sun sign based and we all skip the fact that self-indulgence and a pleasure seeking attitude lie in human nature already, and those affairs are actually ruled by the Sun instead Venus?

I have moon opposite venus and I find it gives me a lot of anxiety when talking about my feelings and passions. any tips on how to try and heal such an aspect?
Cure your throat chakra, embrace your Swadhisthana, think blue, think orange. Meditate on these.
In a more astrological sense, take a look at the signs these planets reside in and your houses. What other aspects do these planets make? I’d also suggest taking a look at the rulers of the signs (Venus in Scorpio? Look to Mars and Pluto, etc) and it will show you the route you can take to feel more comfortable sharing this information. Saturn can be a big cause of anxiety also- heal your Saturn and this opposition will be easier to heal also.
Simple steps to take now; self-talk about your emotions in a positive manner. You don’t have to say them to others or out loud, just learn how to communicate with yourself internally and in a positive light and it will start to get easier and easier. Focus deeply on how you speak to yourself and treat yourself. Once you add more love to the problem, the problem will cease.
Much love<3

Hi! I don't know if you post about astrology here on tumblr but I have a question - What are your thoughts about moon in scorpio in 4th house? How to work through this placement in birth chart? Is it a tough placement?
Hiya! I absolutely do answer questions about astrology here, though not as often as I would like! I appreciate your question and i’m ready to get right into it.
I use Whole Sign Houses, so I assume that you’re a Leo rising, like me! If that’s true, that means that the Moon is the ruler of your 12th house of “Bad Spirit.” Here’s a nifty chart with the significations of the 12 places.

The Moon in the 4th house can reflect self-undoing, isolation and mental health issues related to your family; specifically the parental line. It could suggest being isolated or confined in a paternal family’s home, or in your own, due to suspicions placed against you. Your family could fear that you are against your own family, so they will try to restrict you and control you.
I bet that cemeteries either freak you out, or you find a strange sense of comfort and familiarity in them.
The Moon is humiliated in Scorpio. Ideally, one would analyze many other facets to understand the complexity of how the Moon operates for you (sect, bonification or maltreatment, etc), but based on the angularity and essential dignity by sign, isolation & mental health issues are very poignant in your life.
I would suggest taking a step back from family matters to analyze whether your concerns & fears regarding your family are real or imagined. I don’t have his book with me, but Mychal Bryan’s book has an excellent description of the Moon in Scorpio, which I believe he described as the “Fear-filled goddess.”
Not all hope is lost; analyze whether or not a benefic planet is making a positive aspect to the Moon by trine or sextile, which could greatly help aid your Moon.

Do you think that Saturn transiting the 7th house can sometimes make someone attracted to older people? I have it going on right now and I am sooo attracted to older men, I'm only 21 but I am feeling drawn to more mature types and just generally physically attracted to older men haha. I also have venus transiting my tenth house too..
Essentially, yes. It’s part of the Saturn flavor. Venus transiting tenth can show attraction to success as well.

Unlocking Universal secrets
Astronomical observations have certainly come a long way.
In the past, observatories had astronomers, mainly men, to look at the heavens and do the thinking about it. They’d also enlist lower-paid workers, mainly women, to inspect glass plates and identify stars, nebulae and galaxies. The women were known as ‘computers’ due to the large amount of data they would analyse, and not surprisingly many of them became very, very expert at astronomy.
Credit: AstroQuest
In modern times, astronomers (all genders welcome) are still gazing up at the skies, but advancements in technology means they can look deeper into space and record data on millions of galaxies. Now, the computers astronomers are using are machines, capable of processing massive amounts of observations.
However, these computers don’t always get it right. That’s where citizen science project AstroQuest comes into the picture.
“To help discover things in this data, we need to carefully identify the boundary of every galaxy surveyed,” explains AstroQuest project officer Lisa Evans.
“AstroQuesters inspect each galaxy and let us know if the computer got it right, and if not what’s wrong with the computer’s guess at where the edge of the galaxy is.”
The project is the successor of the Galaxy Explorer citizen science project, which was developed by ABC Science to help astronomers at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), in Western Australia. When the opportunity came up to engage more citizen scientists and continue the work from the Galaxy Explorer project, the team started working to make AstroQuest a reality. It launched in early 2019.
Since then, the project has seen more than 10,000 citizen scientists from across the world inspecting more than 60,000 galaxies. These observations aid in building a database that will assist astronomers creating a picture of what has happened in galaxies from when the Universe was much younger, up to now.
The project has also helped improve the ProFound algorithm that astronomers use to decipher the observations. With the valuable input from citizen scientists, the computers are now able to “get it right” much more often.
The Galaxy and Mass Assembly (GAMA) survey and the Wide Area Vista Extragalactic Survey (WAVES) survey are the research projects behind AstroQuest. Both are co-led by Simon Driver from the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), in Western Australia.
“AstroQuesters are helping the GAMA and WAVES teams compile their galaxy catalogues, helping them build a database with information about how much light each galaxy is emitting at each wavelength, how quickly they are forming new stars, how much dust they contain, and what phase of life they are currently in,” Evans says.
And, if you’re not sold by helping astronomers explore the Universe, the project also offers up some healthy competition through the incorporation of game-like elements.
“Instead of just having participants work through the galaxy data, we wanted to give our volunteers a feeling of accomplishment, and some rewards for their hard work,” Evans explains.
“We also wanted a way to make sure new users weren’t thrown into the deep end, having to immediately inspect galaxies with lots of overlapping objects to deal with or a lot of confusing noise and interference.”
“So we used game concepts like XP and levels to ramp up the challenge presented to users, giving them harder galaxies to do as they gain experience and skill.”
The project also had leader boards so you can keep track of your achievements and be a part of the wider community on the site.
To get involved, it’s as easy as heading to the AstroQuest website. Once there, click ‘begin quest’ and fill out the registration form. From there, you can get hunting and competing against other people.
AstroQuest can also be brought into the classroom with teacher guides linked to the Australian Curriculum also available online.
