Long distance was not easy, Yuma had begun to quickly realise.

Sure, he knew that everyone else was in the same boat as him about this. They weren’t the only couple in the world that didn’t have the pleasure of seeing each other everyday. He wasn’t the only one that felt a pang in his heart whenever he had to say goodbye to Astral or as though he was missing something whenever they weren’t there.

But to Yuma, those couples had it at least a little bit more easier when their partner was at least a phone call away. With just the touch of a button, they could talk to their significant other just like that.

On the account that his significant other was simply a being that lived in a different world, he didn't have that. He had to wait weeks, sometimes even months until he could see Astral again - and even then, those visits weren’t always very long.

Yet, still, with each visit Yuma found that he treasured each time that he spent with them. There was a special feelings associated with each visit and each time, he found that he was more and more comfortable. And with each time that they were together, they were inseparable.

“Yuma, do you think you could move a little bit for me?” Astral had asked one night as they were sat on top of his roof, looking over the night’s sky. Just as they used to do when Astral lived on earth. “Just because I think you’re squashing the food that you brought up.”

However, Yuma found himself hugging onto Astral a little bit more tighter.

“We can always get some more.”

My OC is: 5’4”, in class 1A, has short black hair (almost like a bob), black eyes, extremely smart and accelerated in school but hides it and acts like a complete dumbass because people bullied her for being smart, completely oblivious to any kind of romantic gestures unless told explicitly that someone has feelings for them but still wants to be in a relationship.

Just a short little thing I wrote

I woke up to the sun shining through the window. I looked over at the heterochromatic boy sleeping beside me and smiled softly. My smile held soft for a moment until he woke up and stared at me. blushing, I looked away. "Good morning Sho," I whispered. He gave a wide smile and kissed my cheek.

"Happy Birthday..." he spoke before wrapping his arms around me. I put my head on his shoulder, releasing a sigh.

"Thank you," I smiled.

As the day went on Shoto did things for me, which he really didn't need to. He seemed more excited about my birthday than I was. He's so cute. "You don't need to do this Sho." I giggled.

"It isn't a choice. I want to do it." He spoke. I watched him make dinner for us both. I then shifted my eyes elsewhere thinking about what everyone else is doing. Both of our phones started to soon go off at the same time. I glanced down looking at notifications from the 1-A group chat.

Oc name: Tsukishima Mizuki Quirk: Water squirt. Her Quirk allows her to spout a squirt from her mouth depending on the force by her mood. Personality: Shy, awkwardly cute but when triggered her personality instantly turns explosive. Occasionally cusses not usually only when seriously angered. Sexual orientation: Straight. Likes: Though being a female she enjoys "manly" things, she's somewhat tomboyish.

This sounds cute af! I really hope for the sake of the aspect, she’s a short little thing! Like cute short! Squirt! It’s so cute! I also love the fact that she’ll explode, like… she’s a cute bear, but don’t poke the bear!! Also hell yeah, a girl doing manly things, HELL YEAH! She sounds like a little badass too! 

Partner in battle: I think she would work best with Bakugo. BUT hear me out!! Bakugo is notorious for working people up, and her spew power depends on her mood right? Bakugo is probably the best person to get Mizuki so riled up that she’ll frickin have a hydro-pump coming out of her mouth! Not to mention his blasts combated with her water powers might be too much for any normal villain to handle. Opposites attract and they contrast eachother’s quirks pretty well! Lover: Shy, awkwardly cute, but will put bitches in their place? Saw hello to Kirishima. He would looooove everything about her, and really like that she likes manly things! They’d go on hikes, go to the gym, go fishing, hell he’d even ask her to shave his face because “I swear there’s hair there Mizuki and I’m too tired from training.” He’d absolutely swoon over her awkwardly cuteness, like SWOOOON. This boy is head over heels!

Bestfriend: Is it too cliche? But Asuyu!!! They’d be the cutest little best friends! And Asuyu isn’t a girly-girl herself, so her and Mizuki would have many adventures together! Definitely swimming days, or beach days, where they lounge around in water and relax all day. Also, waterpark days, for sure. Asuyu would also be able to keep a level head wheh Mizuki explodes, definitely.

Aizawa didn’t know why he was doing what he was doing, other than principal Nedzu had asked him, so he, of course, was required to do so. His yellow sleeping bag was a comforting warmth as he collapsed onto the floor of Class 1-A, ignoring the students seated in their chairs.

”Aizawa-Sensei, are you not supposed to be teaching class?” Iida, the ever-diligent student asked. To most teachers, Iida would be a delight, but to Aizawa? He was a nightmare. Because of that hellspawn, he was never allowed to sleep during class.

“Officially? Yes, although I have been given a special lesson to teach today, that I am handing off to a good friend of mine, and don't worry, she is very capable.”

”Who is your friend, if I may ask? Do we know her?” Iida asked, his arms doing a familiar chopping motion.

Before Aizawa can reply, Midoriya cuts him off in his usual, overenthusiastic voice, "Is it a pro hero? Maybe it's Mt. Lady!”

"No, it would probably be Midnight!" Asuyu intervenes.

"But what about The Pussy Cats?" Todoroki adds in a monotone voice, and soon, the classroom is full of chaos as to who Aizawa invited.

"Sorry to disappoint, but I'm none of those, sadly," The class turns quiet at the new voice, turning to see who it sprouted from. What they see is nothing like what they expected, short auburn hair, tall heels, along with light brown eyes and a worn leather jacket. A grin forms on her face as she waves to the class, "Hey kids! The names Ito Suzuki, here to teach you Drivers Ed!"

"Fucking what?" You could probably guess who that enraged comment came from, none other than Bakugo Katsuki, “I’m not doing some dumbass Drivers Ed!”

”Well, I’m sorry but it’s being required by your school principal!” Ito responded, a stern look on her tan face.

Her zaman karşı camda gördüğün o komşu kızı en güzelidir senin için. İstisnasına denk gelmedim daha ben. Çünkü gizemlidir insan için o komşu kızı, sadece bir surat veya bir isimden ibarettir ama her sabah yatağından kalktığında gördüğün tek suratta onun suratıdır veya her sabah okul servisine onun sesiyle daha mutlu biniyorsun. Hiç unutmam her akşam Asu dakikalarırımı bitiren anlar; arabalarının markalarını karakterlerinin üzerine giyinmiş, iki kelamı bir araya getirecek kadar bile beyine sahip olamayan tiplerin gelip arabalarıyla Asu’yu evden götürmeleri olurdu. Aynı Kerem Alışık’ın şiirinde dediği gibi temiz giyimli, kirli adamlar alırdı seni ve ben bunu bir kıyamet alameti sayardım, içimi sis bürürdü… Tekrar küçük bi öneride bulunayım eğer ergenliğinizin doruk noktasındaysanız sakın izlediğiniz romantik filmden sonra o platonik aşık olduğunuz komşu kızına açılmaya kalkmayın. Emin olun kendi tipinizi görseniz siz bile kendinizle çıkmak istemezsiniz. Çünkü hayat filmlerdeki gibi işlemez ve o şapşal, maymundan beş dakika önce doğmuş tipiniz o kızı etkilemez tecrübeyle sabittir bu. Ben o filmi izledikten sonra karar vermiştim o akşam Asu’ya hislerimi anlatmaya. Kafamı soktum jöle kutusunun içine; çok yakışıklı olmalıydım, onun gönlünü fethetmeliydim sonuçta sonra çıktım dışarı çiçek almaya gitmek için sonra cebimi yokladım ve 5 lira çıktı. Düşündüm “Sigara mı alsam, çiçek mi alsam?” diye. Sonra çiçekleri tarladan toplamaya ve bakkaldan bir paket winston almaya karar verdim. Bakkal Hasan Amcadan winstonumu aldığım gibi içimdeki heyecanlı sevgi kelebekleri pırpır ettirerek tarlaya topukladım. O tarlayı da turkuaz renkteki çiçekleri yüzünden çok severdim ve onunda o çiçeklere bayılacağına emindim. Zamanın en yavaş geçtiği an hayatının en önemli anını beklediğin zamandır ve o zamanlar genelde sigarayla ölçülür. Aşağı yukarı 1 paketten sonra Asu tüm turkuaz ihtişamıyla kapıdan çıktı. Sanırım kapının önünde pahalı arabalarıyla bekleyen o araba karakterli arkadaşlarından bahsetmeme gerek yok. Tam o sırada “Asu bir dakika bakabilir misin?” diye bağırdım. “Ne var?” dedikten sonra yanına gidip en temiz hislerimle ona karşı hissettiklerimi anlattım. Ne söylediğimi hatırlamıyorum ama onun cevabı sanki 10 dakika önce söylemişçesine aklımda. “Dalga mı geçiyorsun sen? Şu tipine ve yaşına bak bir önce! Dünyada kalan son erkek sen olsan bile gider maymunlarla sevişirim daha iyi!” demişti. Böyle bir cevap beklemiyordum ki ben. Filmde böyle olmamıştı lan. Hani kız da gizliden gizliye beni seviyor olacaktı? Bu nasıl iş lan böyle boğuluyor gibiydim. İnsanın böyle durumlarda tepkisi az çok bellidir. Sinirini, üzüntüsünü en itici ve gıcık olduğu şeyden çıkarmak ister. Tam taşınmadan önceki gün boyunca Asu’yu izledim ve ağladım. Başarısızlıklarla örülmüş şu hayatımda bundan daha beter bir durumla karşılaşmamıştım yemin ederim…

Öyle ya da böyle yıllar geçti. Hayatıma giren çıkan kadınlar, kızlar oldu ama ben bir saat için bile Asu’yu aklımdan atamadım. Tam 11 yıl sonra onunla şu an yaşadığım şehirde karşılaşana dek hep merak ettim onu gördüğümde ne yapacağımı. Kahve içmeye davet edecekmişim meğersem. 11 yıl sonra sadece bir kahve kadar ömrümüz varmış bu ilişkiye ait. O gün beni döven araba karakterli pezevenkle evlenmiş lise bittiği gibi, üniversiteyi birlikte okumuşlar ve o artık bir anne… Ama gel gör ki o araba karakterli pezevenk yerinde duramamış hiç. Hep Asu’yu aldatmış ve Asu buna dayanamayıp boşanmış. Bana bir tek soru sordu “O gün ben senin hayatını mahvettim değil mi?” diye. Duraksadım bir an ne cevap vereceğimi düşündüm ama sonra benim düşündüklerime hiç gerek kalmadan kelimeler ağzdımdan döküldü… “ Mahvetmek ne kelime, taş üzerinde taş bırakmadın ama canın sağolsun be Asu…” dedim. O masadan kalktıktan sonra kafamda Asuya ait dönen tek düşünce onun hayatındaki adam o çocuğun babası ben olabilirdim oldu ve hala değişmedi. Ama o çocuğun babası ve Asu’nun hayatındaki erkek ben değilim. Bu yüzden artık tek gerçeğim sorularla yaşamaya devam edecek olduğum.

There are a half-dozen great choices for the food topic, from the infamous tomato duel, to the heart-wrenching lunchtime with Haruto, to the other heart-wrenching lunchtime with Mihael. But really? This is one of my favourite keyshipping scenes. The times where Yuuma and Astral are confessing their love to each other, finishing each other’s sentences, fusing together to become Zexal - those are all great times, but what I love about this is that it happens in the randomest (and, in my opinion, the bestest) of times. This is from episode 067 - y’know, the epic showdown between Tron and Yuuma. This is set up from the earlier WDC duels to be a climactic, tense duel, as while Tron is outwardly childish and naive, his dueling tactics are nothing short of advanced and strategic. Yuuma and Astral both go into this duel knowing that they need to bring their kattobingu.

(Also y’know Kaito nearly died during his duel, so Yuuma’s feeling the pressure. But no biggie? He and Astral can do it.)

So the duel gets epic. Yuuma and Astral are pushed to their dueling limits, and Astral’s worried that maybe they won’t make it this time, that maybe it’s too much for them. That’s when they realise that they need to fuse and become Zexal, because that’s the strategy when everything else fails. So they do. Things get a bit better, and you as a viewer are getting pumped for some massive ass-kicking a la Zexal superpowers -

And then this scene happened instead! Yuuma tells Astral he’s hungry, remembers that he brought some food, and starts eating. Like you are fighting the enemy that’s been built up for this entire season and you stopped to eat food? Astral, however, gets none of this secondhand embarrassment; instead, he asks Yuuma about eating, shares the meal with him, (becomes the cutest gay alien you have ever seen), and then, recharged, he and Yuuma resume the duel.

The best thing about keyshipping is that Astral loves Yuuma for who Yuuma is. Astral may roll his eyes at Yuuma’s blunders and laugh at his mistakes, but deep down Astral respects Yuuma for all his impulsive, naive, and innocent behaviour. Never once does Astral take advantage of Yuuma’s kindness, or mock him for his forgiveness, or detest him for his compassion. Astral loves that Yuuma can bounce back from any situation. Astral enjoys dueling with Yuuma, as shown during every single duel they are in. In time, Astral even comes to appreciate Yuuma’s act-now-think-later tactics, which even save them in a duel when Astral’s defensive style would’ve cost them the duel.

And Yuuma? Yuuma loves Astral because he is with him every step of the journey. Yuuma’s been teased, mocked, and ridiculed for his dueling, yet Astral sees in him a hero. When Yuuma talks about creating bonds with other’s through dueling, it’s no surprise that one of the strongest bonds he created was with Astral. Maybe you could say that it was through Astral that Yuuma learned to duel, but I’d argue that it was through Astral that Yuuma gained the confidence in himself to duel better, to try better, to kattobingu. In the end, kattobingu represents both Astral and Yuuma, as neither of them gave up on themselves or each other.

Name: Reed, Hero Name: (still undecided so if you have any suggestions please let me know😊), I call her quirk 'Time Out' she - Makes a "shhh" noise and anyone who heard it can no longer use their quirk and all sound in area is mute quirk stays in effect untold the user speaks again. She is straight, and would probably work with 13 and silence all their opponents beforehand leaving the rest to 13 although she idolizes Aizawa.

So the first game I thought about was “ghosttown”, where one person would yell “ghost town!” and then nobody would be allowed to speak until they did? So I dunno if “Ghost Town” is a fitting name, but it’s one I thought of! Or Silenannce. Kinda like silent and nanny put together? ^_^’ 

Partner in battle: This is sooo cool because she’s like Aizawa in that she can take away people’s quirks, but she can’t talk once she does right? Meaning she needs an observant partner that can pretty much read her mind and know what she’s planning without her saying it! Someone like Tokoyami I’d say. He can handle things with everyone muted physically and soundly, and he’s the type to either plan ahead or read body language for the next move! 

Lover: This was tough unfortunately without 3 words or so to base her personality on.. but based on what I have, I think she would be cute with Kirishima! If anything, when he’s being too rambunctious she’ll simply shush him to calm him down, because whether he knows it or not, sometimes when their holding hands and he’s excited he’ll harden around her hand!! 

Bestfriend: I think her and Asuyu would get along! They started becoming better friends when Reed randomly shush’d to see if taking Asuyu’s quirk away would take away her frog appearances; it didn’t. But now they hang all the time and bond over things like that! Even having a contest where Asuyu drew Reed as a frog-featured version and Reed of Asuyu without her features!———————————————————————————————–I really hope you like this and it’s up to standards!
