What if Reginald had gotten all 43 (and one cube)? The Umbrella Academy finds themselves stuck in an alternate timeline where their old selves and a few dozen others were surprised kidnapped (excuse me adopted) by the eccentric billionaire. Will they escape or are they trapped in a dimension of emotionally traumatised superheroes forever?

if i DID write it i think it might go something like this. it would probably be unfortunately long and alternate povs, because that's the type of chaos best suited to this. post-s1, the umbrella academy find themselves in a pocket dimension not dissimilar to hotel oblivion. (but definitely NOT hotel oblivion because it's been ages since i've read the comics hfjsk.) they also find themselves amidst 36 other people like them and a very unsettling cube. he floats. someone who looks exactly like ben, but not -- everything about him is just slightly off, if you know what i mean -- introduces him as christopher.

both umbrella ben and sparrow ben would be present because i literally cannot resist okay. i need ben and ben interacting. they would be these teams of ex-superheroes (and not-so-ex superheroes) wandering the halls... and there would be no way out.

(they know this, because five tries to leave as soon as he wakes. something about this place is deeply unsettling, even if you ignore the fact that it's a pocket dimension without any exits. there is an inherent wrongness here. you can feel it in your bones.)

43 people and no way out. 43 people and one unsettling floating cube. 42 people and one ghost. maybe more ghosts. maybe there's less than 43 people, because maybe more than one are dead, and more than one didn't make it through. they are all there and they all share a father and there is no way out.

and i would use this to incorporate so many of my ocs probably >:)) asflskd honestly ur so right, #Angst and probably some #Claustrophobia. possibly #Everyone Needs A Hug. if im a real bitch about it then #Temporary Major Character Death. but all with a happy (or at least not unhappy) ending of course sjfdsd
