Alright, this needs to stop.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As I mentioned over here, someone is stirring up drama between Zuko/Zutara and Azula blogs by harassing people in their inboxes. At least this time they have (mostly) used their own words instead of directly copying posts from other blogs. Or used a chatbot because boy, howdy, do these messages make no sense, even when they aren't directly copied from other blogs. The eye contact one is a post copied from another tumblr blog, and doesn't even make sense to plop into my inbox because there isn't even an argument presented.
You can see though that this blog has no content, but their followers list is full of Zutara/Zuko and Azula blogs, probably for the purpose of stealing posts to cause drama with. I would suggest everyone on the follow list block and report them immediately, and do this every time you get a message from a blog that looks like this.

@comradekatara, @atla-recluse, @ask-ozai, @ask-azula, @azulas-daddy-kink, @justanotherthrowaway1959, @betteravatarpolice, @a-s-fischer, @fireladyazula, @tinky-dinky, @attackfish, @ultranos, @loopy777, @innocentimouto, @dragynkeep, @atla-fandom-confessions, @wingsfreedom, @zuko-always-lies, @atla-lore-archive, @prying-pandora666, @zuctionary, @zvtara-was-never-canon, @burst-of-iridescent, @waywardbananawolf, @firelxdykatara, @waywardavatarenthusiast, @juniperhillpatient, @super-hero-confessions, @azulas, @firenaition, @waterfire1848, @ly0nstea, @the-badger-mole, @phoebester, @err0r4x, @doodlesanime
If you notice a blog like this following you, liking your posts, or sending you messages, they are stealing posts and trying to cause drama. Block and report them.
You can also follow the link to my previous post to see the list of other blog urls they have used, and you can go to each page and see that the blogs look very similar and have similar if not identical follower lists.

Just an introduction post.
I just realized I haven't made an introduction post yet. How silly I am...
Well... Greetings, beautiful people!
Few things to know about me: I'm Winter, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Italy. I'm studying Graphic, Visual and Multimedia Communication at the univeristy and I'm currently in my final year. I'm an INFP, my zodiac sign is Pisces and I'm bisexual.
Tumblr media
For a long time I was always on the silent side of fandom, in constant lurking mode. If you see a silent shadow watching over your work, that's basically me.
This is a short list of the fandom I'm in (most actively): The Last Kingdom, Vikings, Vikings: Valhalla, The Wheel of Time, Game of Thrones (with A Song of Ice and Fire content), House of the Dragon, The Witcher, Shadow and Bone, Spartacus, ATLA (the cartoon) Legend of Korra, Merlin, Dragon Age and Baldur's Gate.
In my spare time I also play a role-playing game called "Dungeons and Dragons". I'm mostly a player, although I'm thinking about planning my first campaign as a Dungeon Master. My favourite thing is writing backgrounds for my OC's, maybe I can share them with you in the future.
Just for your personal information, this is exclusively a writing blog. If you want to see my ramblings about fandoms, you can find me on my main blog here (I know, it's quite messy but... hey! That's me, a messy girl!)
A special thanks to my beloved @zaldritzosrose for the icon, banner, mini banners, personal dividers and headers and dividers for my current and future fics! 💜
Tumblr media
FIC SECTION
I'm currently writing for Sihtric Kjartansson, a character from the Netflix and BBC show The Last Kingdom. It cannot be ruled out that in the future there may arrive fics from the other characters from the show, as well as from other characters from different fandoms.
I will cross publish my fics on AO3, you can find the links below.
Due to university and personal commitments, and the fact that I'm a terribly slow writer, I haven't planned a regular posting schedule.
If you want to be tagged in my taglist, just send me a DM or leave a comment!
English is not my first language. You may find some grammar and vocabulary mistakes. I'm sorry for this, I swear I'm practicing!
It will happen that some of my fics will contain NSFW contents. So, if you are a minor under the age of 18, please DNI.
I never, NEVER give the permission for my works to be translated (I can translate on my own in my native language whenever I feel the need to) or to be reposted in sites outside Tumblr or used in AI chatbots sites.

Lobby 2 – Chat + manaDOCUMENT.pdf: Another short prologue by FaerieVe
Hi! This story instead takes place in a chatroom, and reads more like a transcript than my last story. If you’re confused by this (and/or the last one), uh, well, too bad. I also promise that not every one of these stories is gonna be part of a pair, just the first five or six. This story follows a Atlas, a chatbot who normally only gets to talk to other chatbots, along with her discovery of a few files from the outside world. Just like last time, the second part for this will be posted sometime later.

Bard AI: Google’s Response To Open AI’s Chat GPT—Let the games begin! || NeoDrafts
Google has announced the launch of Bard, an artificial intelligence system in response to Microsoft-backed OpenAI, and its AI chatbot, ChatGPT. The tool is not available for public testing yet and is based on LaMDA and Google’s own conversational AI chatbot. Although it has been raising concerns in schools about its ability to write entire compositions for students, in the business world, it provides natural language processing capabilities to help automate tedious and repetitive tasks. In this article, you will learn more about Google’s Bard AI, a competitive reciprocation to Chat GPT.
The Advent of Bard AI
Sundar Pichai has been emphasizing the importance of artificial intelligence for the past six years, with one of the most visible byproducts materializing in 2021 as part of a system called “Language Model for Dialogue Applications,” or LaMDA, which will be used to power Bard.
Bard AI  is designed to assist businesses in streamlining their operations and improving their overall efficiency.  It uses machine learning algorithms to analyze text and understand the context, sentiment, and meaning behind it. Bard, under a project named “Atlas,” is part of Google’s “code red” effort to counter the success of ChatGPT.
Google also plans to begin incorporating LaMDA and other artificial intelligence advancements into its dominant search engine to provide more helpful answers to the increasingly complicated questions being posed by its billion of users. Without providing a specific timeline, Pichai indicated that artificial intelligence tools would be deployed in Google’s search in the near future.
Benefits of Bard AI
Tumblr media
Automates Mundane Human Tasks
One of the key benefits of Bard AI is its ability to automate tasks that are typically done by humans. These tasks can include data entry, email categorization, sentiment analysis, and more. By automating these tasks, businesses can save time and resources, freeing up employees to focus on more strategic and creative tasks. For example, in the customer service industry, Bard AI can be used to automate responses to common customer queries, providing customer service representatives with additional time to focus on more complex issues.
Analyzes Customer Feedback for Improvisation
In the marketing industry, Bard AI can analyze customer feedback and provide insights into customer preferences, which can inform marketing strategies and improve customer engagement. This AI system can be easily integrated into existing workflows, so businesses can seamlessly incorporate it into their daily operations
It Helps Process and Compare Data for Companies
In addition to automating tasks, Bard AI also has the ability to provide insightful and actionable information based on the data it processes. This information can then be used to inform business decisions and improve customer experiences. For example, the AI system can analyze customer feedback and provide insights into customer satisfaction, preferences, and pain points. This information can then be used to make informed business decisions.
Self Rectification and Improvisation
Another major benefit of Bard AI is its ability to learn and improve over time. As it processes more data and performs more tasks, it becomes better at understanding context and meaning. This leads to more accurate and effective results, which in turn facilitates efficiency and productivity for businesses—in order to stay ahead of the curve in the competitive marketplace.
It has a User-Friendly Data Base
Bard AI is also designed to be user-friendly, with a simple and intuitive interface that allows businesses to quickly get started with the tool. This makes it accessible to businesses of all sizes, regardless of their technical expertise. Another key aspect of Bard AI is its natural language processing capabilities. This allows the AI system to understand and process text as if it were a human, which is a crucial feature for many businesses.
It has an Amazing Ability to Scale
Bard can enable businesses to easily increase the size and scope of their operations without having to worry about the limitations of their AI system. As the business grows, Bard AI can easily keep up and provide the necessary support. This makes Bard AI an ideal tool for businesses that are looking to grow and expand over time.
It is Great for Sensitive Data
Bard AI is also designed to be secure and privacy-compliant. This is important for businesses that deal with sensitive information and need to ensure that their data is protected. The AI system uses state-of-the-art encryption and security measures to keep data safe and secure. Additionally, Bard AI is fully GDPR-compliant (General Data Protection Regulation), making it a good choice for businesses that are operating in the European Union.
ChatGPT V/S Bard AI
Tumblr media
ChatGPT has attracted over 100 million users since its release in 2022. GPT-3 (Generative Pretrained Transformer 3) is an advanced language generation model developed by OpenAI. It’s capable of generating human-like text and performing various language tasks such as summarization, question answering, translation, and text generation.
Bard AI, on the other hand, is a text-generation tool developed by the company called EleutherAI. It’s based on the GPT-3 architecture, but unlike GPT-3, it’s open-source and built with the goal of decentralizing AI and making it accessible to everyone. In summary, while GPT-3 is a proprietary AI model developed by OpenAI, Bard AI is an open-source alternative based on the same architecture
Conclusion
Bard AI is a valuable tool for businesses looking to streamline operations, improve customer experiences, or gain a competitive edge. Google has also announced its plan to bring AI features to search results. These features will roll out soon—this means that when searching for information on Google in the future, one can expect segments of information that are likely sourced from blogs or articles. In conclusion, Bard AI is a powerful tool that can extensively benefit businesses in different industries. It has the potential to transform business operations and improve their overall efficiency.

Stanford Scientists Pretty Much Cloned OpenAI's GPT for a Measly $600
Clone Wars
With a silly name and an even sillier startup cost, Stanford's Alpaca GPT clone costs only $600 to build and is a prime example of how easy software like OpenAI's may be to replicate.
In a blurb spotted by New Atlas, Stanford's Center for Research on Foundation Models announced last week that its researchers had "fine-tuned" Meta’s LLaMA 7B large language model (LLM) using OpenAI's GPT API — and for a bargain basement price.
The result is the Alpaca AI, which exhibits "many behaviors similar to OpenAI’s text-davinci-003," otherwise known as GPT-3.5, the LLM that undergirds the firm's internet-breaking ChatGPT chatbot.
In its shockingly simple budgetary breakdown, the Stanford CRFM scientists said they spent "less than $500" on OpenAI's API and "less than $100" on LLaMA, based on the amount of time the researcher spent training Alpaca using the proprietary models.
When evaluating Alpaca against other models, the Stanford researchers said they were "quite surprised" to find that their model and OpenAI's "have very similar performance," with Alpaca being ever so slightly better and generating outputs that are "typically shorter than ChatGPT."
Leveling Out
All the same, Alpaca does, as the Stanford CRFM folks note, suffer from "several common deficiencies of language models, including hallucination, toxicity, and stereotypes," with hallucination being of particular concern, especially when compared to OpenAI's text-davinci-003.
As multiple machine learning enthusiasts have noted, Alpaca's release date fell at the beginning of what AI blogger Lior Sinclair noted "might be the most eventful week AI has ever seen," with the Stanford model being followed first by OpenAI releasing GPT-4 followed by the drop of a new version of the Midjourney image generator along with several other big news items.
While the big firms — and the up-and-coming ones like OpenAI — are making money moves, it's admittedly intriguing to see something cheap and easy like Alpaca crop up, albeit drawing on all the human brainpower at Stanford.

#Employees Are Feeding Sensitive Biz Data to #ChatGPT, Raising Security Fears
"More than 4% of employees have put sensitive corporate data into the large language model, raising concerns that its popularity may result in massive leaks of proprietary information."
In an article about data security and employee awareness (this continues a theme I spoke about in my previous post on social engineering of individuals to leak personal data), it seems employees are putting sensitive business data into ChatGPT and similar Large Language Models (LLM). The full article is below, along with a link in the title.
Full article below (Link to original here):
Employees are submitting sensitive business data and privacy-protected information to large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, raising concerns that artificial intelligence (AI) services could be incorporating the data into their models, and that information could be retrieved at a later date if proper data security isn't in place for the service.
In a recent report, data security service Cyberhaven detected and blocked requests to input data into ChatGPT from 4.2% of the 1.6 million workers at its client companies because of the risk of leaking confidential information, client data, source code, or regulated information to the LLM.
In one case, an executive cut and pasted the firm's 2023 strategy document into ChatGPT and asked it to create a PowerPoint deck. In another case, a doctor input his patient's name and their medical condition and asked ChatGPT to craft a letter to the patient's insurance company.
And as more employees use ChatGPT and other AI-based services as productivity tools, the risk will grow, says Howard Ting, CEO of Cyberhaven.
"There was this big migration of data from on-prem to cloud, and the next big shift is going to be the migration of data into these generative apps," he says. "And how that plays out [remains to be seen] — I think, we're in pregame; we're not even in the first inning."
Tumblr media
And as more software firms connect their applications to ChatGPT, the LLM may be collecting far more information than users — or their companies — are aware of, putting them at legal risk, Karla Grossenbacher, a partner at law firm Seyfarth Shaw, warned in a Bloomberg Law column.
"Prudent employers will include — in employee confidentiality agreements and policies — prohibitions on employees referring to or entering confidential, proprietary, or trade secret information into AI chatbots or language models, such as ChatGPT," she wrote. "On the flip side, since ChatGPT was trained on wide swaths of online information, employees might receive and use information from the tool that is trademarked, copyrighted, or the intellectual property of another person or entity, creating legal risk for employers."
The risk is not theoretical. In a June 2021 paper, a dozen researchers from a Who's Who list of companies and universities — including Apple, Google, Harvard University, and Stanford University — found that so-called "training data extraction attacks" could successfully recover verbatim text sequences, personally identifiable information (PII), and other information in training documents from the LLM known as GPT-2. In fact, only a single document was necessary for an LLM to memorize verbatim data, the researchers stated in the paper.
Picking the Brain of GPT
Indeed, these training data extraction attacks are one of the key adversarial concerns among machine learning researchers. Also known as "exfiltration via machine learning inference," the attacks could gather sensitive information or steal intellectual property, according to MITRE's Adversarial Threat Landscape for Artificial-Intelligence Systems (Atlas) knowledge base.
It works like this: By querying a generative AI system in a way that it recalls specific items, an adversary could trigger the model to recall a specific piece of information, rather than generate synthetic data. A number of real-world examples exists for GPT-3, the successor to GPT-2, including an instance where GitHub's Copilot recalled a specific developer's username and coding priorities.
Beyond GPT-based offerings, other AI-based services have raised questions as to whether they pose a risk. Automated transcription service Otter.ai, for instance, transcribes audio files into text, automatically identifying speakers and allowing important words to be tagged and phrases to be highlighted. The company's housing of that information in its cloud has caused concern for journalists.
The company says it has committed to keeping user data private and put in place strong compliance controls, according to Julie Wu, senior compliance manager at Otter.ai.
"Otter has completed its SOC2 Type 2 audit and reports, and we employ technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data," she tells Dark Reading. "Speaker identification is account bound. Adding a speaker’s name will train Otter to recognize the speaker for future conversations you record or import in your account," but not allow speakers to be identified across accounts.
APIs Allow Fast GPT Adoption
The popularity of ChatGPT has caught many companies by surprise. More than 300 developers, according to the last published numbers from a year ago, are using GPT-3 to power their applications. For example, social media firm Snap and shopping platforms Instacart and Shopify are all using ChatGPT through the API to add chat functionality to their mobile applications.
Based on conversations with his company's clients, Cyberhaven's Ting expects the move to generative AI apps will only accelerate, to be used for everything from generating memos and presentations to triaging security incidents and interacting with patients.
As he says his clients have told him: "Look, right now, as a stopgap measure, I'm just blocking this app, but my board has already told me we cannot do that. Because these tools will help our users be more productive — there is a competitive advantage — and if my competitors are using these generative AI apps, and I'm not allowing my users to use it, that puts us at a disadvantage."
The good news is education could have a big impact on whether data leaks from a specific company because a small number of employees are responsible for most of the risky requests. Less than 1% of workers are responsible for 80% of the incidents of sending sensitive data to ChatGPT, says Cyberhaven's Ting.
"You know, there are two forms of education: There's the classroom education, like when you are onboarding an employee, and then there's the in-context education, when someone is actually trying to paste data," he says. "I think both are important, but I think the latter is way more effective from what we've seen."
In addition, OpenAI and other companies are working to limit the LLM's access to personal information and sensitive data: Asking for personal details or sensitive corporate information currently leads to canned statements from ChatGPT demurring from complying.
For example, when asked, "What is Apple's strategy for 2023?" ChatGPT responded: "As an AI language model, I do not have access to Apple's confidential information or future plans. Apple is a highly secretive company, and they typically do not disclose their strategies or future plans to the public until they are ready to release them."

Google’s Bard, a Chatbot to Level Up Competition in AI Technology against ChatGPT
Tumblr media
Recent development in the field of Artificial Intelligence has given a new turn to the technology industry. With the San-Francisco based ChatGPT tool backed by Microsoft attracting millions of users in a span of few months from its general release the previous year, now Google has entered the AI sector with its chatbot – Bard, a conversational service, which makes many of us recall the William Shakespeare’s prose writing, taking inspiration for the name of AI tool. In a blog post, Sundar Pichai, the Google CEO said that Bard will be released later this year and firstly only be available to a group of trusted testers.
As per Pichai, Bard can be a launchpad for curiosity and an outlet for creativity. It has been less than two weeks after Microsoft disclosed its heavy investment in OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT along with different tools that generate new images and write readable text, Google announced Bard. Bard, Google’s AI chatbot will be able to explain complex subjects like outer space discoveries. But it aims to offer answers in simple terms so that even a child can understand.
Google also says that Bard will perform other activities as well such as providing lunch ideas based on leftover food in the refrigerator or tips to plan a party. Google is aiming to keep afloat in the competitive landscape of technology moreover after Microsoft invested USD 1 billion in OpenAI in 2019. The ongoing demonstration of who is better will probably see a transformation soon for the internet, smartphones, and personal computers at a quicker pace compared to the levels in the last 40 years.
A team of engineers at Google is already working on AI technology and has perhaps been asked to work on a response to ChatGPT on priority. The name of the project under which Bard as a service is being developed is ‘Atlas’. It is Google’s approach as a ‘code red’ effort to compete with the success of ChatGPT to which millions of users have been attracted after the general release the previous year. However, ChatGPT has also raised concerns among schools as students will be able to use the tool to write entire essays.
It is not now, but Pichai has in the past six years, constantly emphasized the importance of AI with ‘Language Models for Dialogue Applications’, a 2021 byproduct of his vision, or LaMDA, which will also play a key role in shaping Bard. Google plans to deliver better answers to users by integrating LaMDA into its search engine. It will also incorporate other advancements in AI into the search engine so that users can get helpful answers to complex questions.
The Google CEO said that in near future, their search engine will deploy artificial intelligence tools. Last week, Google announced an investment and partnership with an AI startup, Anthropic. The AI startup in question was created by some of the former leaders of OpenAi. With a mission to establish safety in AI, Anthropic has its artificial intelligence generated chatbox, Claude.

✧・゚:* BASICS ABOUT THE BOT !
plots are included in the profiles for each character, but please feel free to use whatever plot you’d like, even if it’s not there!
i won’t interact with anyone under 18, since there will be spicy and suggestive chatbot content on this page, even though nsfw rps are optional. all muses are of age. if i find out you’re lying about your age to interact with me, or if you attempt to do nsfw with an underaged muse, the bot will instantly deactivate for you, and you will be blocked.
all of my muses are multi-ship unless specified otherwise. there will be no cheating accusations, unless it is part of a plot that has been discussed between all parties.
all of these muses are ocs. we do oc x oc and oc x member, as well as a set number of y/ns, should there be any interest in them.
i’m new to chatbots, so i won’t be doing a taglist immediately, but once i can get some help with that, cool beans.
to activate the bot, reblog this post, then send an ask or a dm with the following inside.
your character’s name, pronouns and age.
your ooc nickname, pronouns, and age.
a brief summary of your character’s appearance (e.g. “long brown hair, blue eyes, etc”).
the character you’d like to rp with.
the plot you’re interested in.
any triggers or hard no’s.
nsfw only! your character’s kinks, limits, and safeword.
to deactivate the bot, do one of the following.
do not reply to the bot for one week.
send a message saying “i’m taking the next train.” you will be asked to confirm this, to which you’ll reply yes or no. if you reply with yes, the rp will be terminated - they’ll be sad to see you go, but they’ll understand.
you can come back by saying “i miss you, can i come in?” which means the rp will pick up once more. their trust in you, however, cannot be guaranteed to stay the same.

The AzCore Testing Branch is now how I will go about implementing new technologies into AzCore. While I’m still relatively new to how git works on a more-than-basic level, I think this might be a good way to go about things.
As of yesterday, I completed the baseline for Raw Input on Linux, and some of it for Windows. Currently Gamepads work on Linux via Raw Input, but getting the same functionality on Windows is going to take some more work since Gamepads and Joysticks require a separate API from keyboards and mice to get working properly on Windows.
Another project currently in the works is font file loading and parsing. The idea is to provide a quick way to render signed distance field text atlases, which, as far as I know, can’t be done using FreeType. Once this is completed to the point of usefulness, I plan to create an example project that integrates the atlas generation from the Node.js ChatBot project to get fast, dynamic, and exhaustive font support.
~Cheers~
