Demonology and the Tri-Phasic Model of Trauma.
The Tri-Phasic model of trauma consists of three healing phases:
1. Safety & Stability
2. Remembering & Grieving
3. Reconnecting & Integration
“She would sit here, with Crowley. She would sit, in compassionate honesty, with him. She would sit with him, for as long as he needed, as long as it took for him to feel safe enough to emerge from his cocoon.”
Inspired by the same name fanfic by Nnm on ao3, you can read it here:
Words cannot describe how much impact this beautiful fan-fiction has on me. It gave me the courage to pick up my own tree, one day it’ll become a forest too, just like Aubrey’s. Thank you.

Fanart Advent Calendar: Day 8!
For Demonology and the Tri-Phasic Model of Trauma: An Integrative Approach by Nnm. An amazing, gentle, sometimes heartbreaking fic in which Crowley goes to therapy. And yes, I imagined Aubrey Thyme as Emily Blunt. I think it suits her!
This piece is part of a personal challenge: an advent calendar that will feature one fanart a day for some of my favorite fics, from the 1st of December to the 24th. Enjoy!

I had the time and energy for an art project today, so behold: fan art for @mouseonamoose 's Good Omens fanfic "Demonology and the Tri-Phasic Model of Trauma: An Integrative Approach"
I absolutely love this fic and it means a lot to me. I grew to love the original character just as much as Crowley. Her name is Aubrey Thyme and she is a therapist. She is professional, and caring and kind, good at her job, and she feels like me. Not in an open slate kind of way (but I could be wrong).
Just look at her tree grow.
Here is a link to the fic if you want to read it, it's 99.4K incredible words and if you like Good Omens, I recommend it. Bring tissues.

"As soon as Aubrey Thyme, psychotherapist, had opened her office door and seen her new client, Anthony J. Crowley, sitting in her waiting area, she was observing and assessing him. …What Aubrey Thyme, a professional, thought, upon first seeing her new client was: you’re going to be a fun one, aren’t you?"
Playlist inspired by Aubrey Thyme, psychotherapist, from the Good Omens FanFic Demonology and the Tri-Phasic Model of Trauma: An Integrative Approach by Nnm @mouseonamoose
Many of these songs are comfort/therapy-related, and I mainly focused on the choruses (no romantic shipping is implied). The songs may be from Aubrey's perspective OR Crowley's perspective working with Aubrey.
