For Your Consideration, Some Terrible Losers Club Headcanons**

**Mostly Eddie cus I think he’s silly

When they got married, Eddie and Myra’s wedding colors were teal and white

Their wedding song was “A Thousand Years” from the Twilight soundtrack — Eddie thinks it’s the most beautiful song to ever be written

Richie uses Apple Music (saw this in a fanfic somewhere, couldn’t unsee it)

Eddie’s the type of guy to mansplain the “true message of” Hamilton to the women in his workplace/Myra

After Derry 2016, Bill sends all of his books to Beverly so she can approve/veto the endings. She’s usually a good neutral party

The Losers meet once a month at least for dinner and to catch up

Richie gives them all VIP passes to his future shows and they never fail to show up (even when he ends up relentlessly bullying them on stage)

Bill and Richie definitely kissed in front of paparazzi once “for the bit” (Audra approved of this and thought it was hilarious)

Eddie was a huge fan of Twilight but didn’t admit it because he saw himself as “above” the other fans

They welcomed Patty Uris as an honorary Loser after Stan’s funeral. She and Mike get along the most of all of them

Despite not being a millennial, Eddie certainly acts like a stereotypical one and you cannot convince me otherwise (hence the Twilight and Hamilton references)

Eddie’s the type of guy to say “don’t talk to me before I’ve had my coffee”*

*If he doesn’t have his coffee then Eddie’s a little bit agitated throughout the day, BUT if Beverly doesn’t have her coffee she will kill someone. Stan is somewhere between them

Mike adopted a Pomeranian after leaving Derry. Richie is sometimes horrified of it

The others bring up Eddie frequently in a joking way, but rarely (at first) does Richie participate. Somehow nobody notices that he gets quiet when they bring the topic up

The Losers got famous on social media after reconnecting, purely because of how weird they seem together. Beverly’s personal accounts quickly turned into everyone’s source for Losers content

I’m sorry but Ben seems like the type of guy to go to a family event and ask “where’s my hug? :D”

Bill would want to make his son a junior to “carry on his family name” but also, I feel like if he were to have kids he’d be graced with all girls. Girldad Bill…hm

Richie being their universe’s Bill Hader is so silly to me because, and ONLY because of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. I feel like the Losers would relentlessly bully him for that shit

Not a headcanon but I love Patty and Audra, I’m quite possibly their biggest fan

Audra, Patty, and Bev best girlboss unit. I love the idea of them hanging out maybe I should write a fanfic about it

Obviously I’m a huge fan of the idea that Stanley and Eddie never died but that’s not exactly a headcanon so. Um. They’re still alive in my heart

this is to the same effect as a lot of other posts i've made (re: how the it 2017 film fucked up bill & richie's relationship) but i do specifically think that the new movies ruined bill's character and made him seem like a completely different person than who he is in the book. i find that a lot of people tend to hate bill because they think he's wildly overbearing and controlling and forced his friends to look for georgie with him or whatever, which ... really couldn't be further from the truth? SO MUCH of his character in the book involves his nurturing instinct and his natural capacity for leadership. the losers go after It with him because they want to, because it's bill and none of them can say no to him, not because he begged them to. he actually told them several times that it wasn't their fight and they DIDN'T have to come with him. but all of the other losers are like in love with bill for the entire book, even if it's just a little bit and mostly platonically. richie describes seeing jfk on television and thinking "wow, that man is so charismatic and magnetic ... reminds me of bill!!!" so much of their bond with each other comes from that initial draw TO bill. he's the one who brought so many of them together! bill is the leader of their group and cares SO much about all of them and feels a huge responsibility for protecting all of them. the idea that he would punch one of his friends is truly unthinkable. it 1990 does a WAY better job of characterizing him, especially as a child. i think that's where a lot of issues with analyses of his character come from -- people who have only seen the new movies thinking that he was selfish for making his friends do shit with him. i simply think one glance at eddie's inner monologue would make their eyes pop out of their skull.

Just gonna throw out a few since I have been busy for a few days. These aren't all necessarily in the same universe all at once.

-Bill is the best kisser in the poly relationship and Ben is kinda pissed but also likes to be kissed by him

-Bill was really into 90s Leonardo DiCaprio but didn't know liking boys was a thing yet, so he thought he just wanted to look like him and tried for a while

-Bill got Georgie obsessed with horror when he was definitely too young and he always shares his new work with Georgie first

-Bill's favorite part of the holiday season is celebrating Hanukkah with Stan

-Bill and Bev take a yearly road trip just the two of them to go to an annual film festival they love but also they are both wildly attracted to this woman named Audra who's one of the organizers and they've accepted it's really a trip just to see her

-Bill and Mike both heavily annotate the books they read and then trade so they can see how each other feels or thinks as they read through each other's books

-Bill lets Richie order for him at restaurants because Richie is so attentive that he has Bill's taste in food, as well as many other things, etched into his brain and knows what he'd like anywhere they go

-Bill and Eddie are super involved with a bunch of different activist groups. The other Losers are too, but Bill and Eddie are a step above and are the most invested of all of them and they do all their things together

Rose you never let me down, this was an absolute gift to wake up to. Thank you for sharing your brain worms.

-I love this hc bc Bill doesn't even try to be the best at kissing, he just kinda is and none of the Losers understand it

-'didn't know liking boys was a thing yet' you perfectly summoned up Bill's sexuality for that time era. Also thinking about Bill will 90's Leo Dicaprio hair 🥰

-Georgie scared the other kids in class bc he would be like 'do you want to play monster' at recess but when he's older he absolutely eats up Bill's writing. Georgie always gets to read his new stories first

-Rose you're killing me, that's so fucking cute. Bill trips up the words because of his stutter but Stan doesn't care, just having Bill there to celebrate with him is so special

-I love the idea of Bill and Bev traveling to this annual festival just because they think one of the organizers is hot. They try to date her and Audra is so confused bc she knows they're a couple but surely they're not hitting on her right?

-oh my little heart soars, library bfs <3 they have a little 'book club' with just them and they'll each pick a different book and read it, annotating, and then swapping them aaaaa i love it so much

-it's the little things isn't it? They'll go to a new restaurant that neither of them have been to before and Bill doesn't even look at the menu, there's too many options so he just lets Richie order for him bc he trusts him

-Bill and Eddie showing up to every march, them going and sponsoring fundraisers, travelling to go help in the wake of disasters, I love this so much. They care about each other but they also care about the world. Also Bill is the one who holds the sign at the marches and Eddie has the megaphone. not that he needs one
