maple haze is a gshade preset that mainly focuses on the theme of autumn, but disabling a few shaders also provides an alternative realistic look.

a week after releasing my new preset, i somehow impulsively ended up making another new preset. i initially wanted to release this a month ago but i was shadowbanned (still am, cause support ain't answering me at all). while adding builds based on autumn, i wanted to give a look that accentuates the orange vibe and the season.

i'm living in a country that doesn't have any seasons since childhood — only hot, hotter, haze (thank you, neighbouring country, for burning your bloody forest every year), durian, and monsoon season. so i actually have no idea when each season starts and ends, but coincidentally, it turns out that it's autumn now (it's monsoon season for me sobs).

the primary reason for making this preset is for autumn, but while testing around the shaders since it sometimes appeared too bright, it also gives a realistic look. this would be suitable for both gameplay and screenies!

made on gshade ver 4.2.2, not tested on previous or future ver

since this is a gshade preset, i do not know if this will appear the same on reshade and i couldn’t help you with that

disabling some shaders will give you a different look and make it more realistic, it is also advised that you should make some edit to your own liking

may not appear the same as yours because of the changes i made in game files like graphicrules.sgr and the below

lighting mods used in this preset: better in-game lighting mod (bright pale), gentle cas lighting, sunblind

regarding tint, it's highly recommended that you adjust the colour in "edit global preprocessor definitions" based on your preference. it is best to test it around, depending on whether you want to use it just for gameplay or screenies. toggling this off will give it a more realistic look but less of the autumn theme.

all three shaders with toggles makes the preset brighter, so toggling off one or two makes it dimmer with different looks. this would also give a realistic look.

hey, i would really like to know if you use additional gshade settings when you use your preset.. i love the autumn preset aesthetics, but it doesn't really look the same in my game and i have no idea why >.< how do you make your photos look bright and sharp instead of blurry? have a nice day!

hi! these are the shaders I have enabled for my preset + cinematic dof for the blurred/bokeh background, the rest of the settings I think are pretty much the default ones.

as for the sharpness, a lot of it is due to editing in ps, using topaz clean to make it nice and clear, I also mess around with the lighting in the post processing

oi povo, voltei (depois de muito tempo) com um novo preset do Gshade (foi testado com o Gshade então não sei se funciona no Reshade) criei esse preset no Gshade 5.0.0 e ele é uma vibe anos 60/ anos 50, então quem gosta dessas coisas pode usar talvez, para um mini-filme pro Youtube ou só por dar um vibe vintage assim, vou colocar o link para download aqui em baixo, também as fotos de como fica no jogo, no CAS e nas fotos, também vou colocar oque vocês vão ter que baixar pra funcionar (e se apertarem o CAPS LOCK isso vai desabilitar os outros shaders e só vai ficar o ColorMod, o Blooming_HDR e o Median_Sharp ativado), eu fiz esse preset ativando alguns shaders no preset CandleLight (link aqui em baixo também), e é isso.

Hi everyone, I'm back (after a long time) with a new Gshade preset (it was tested with Gshade so I don't know if it works in Reshade) I created this preset in Gshade 5.0.0 and it has a 60s/50s vibe, so Those who like these things can maybe use it for a mini-film for YouTube or just to give it a vintage vibe, I'll put the download link below, also the photos of what it looks like in the game, in the CAS and in screenshots. And I'll also put what you will have to download it for it to work (and if you press CAPS LOCK this will disable the other shaders and only ColorMod, Blooming_HDR and Median_Sharp will be activated), I made this preset by activating some shaders in the CandleLight preset (link below too), and that's it. I use gshade, and I swap between two presets depending on the type of pictures I’m taking. for my interior shots I use amelie’s pearl preset. originally for ts4 but with a little tweaking it works perfectly for ts3. my main preset is called wd autumn 4, but i can’t find the link for it. ive tried searching for this before with no luck?? >:(

90% of my cc is just found through cc finds blogs (@emilyccfinds / @pis3update / @katsujiiccfinds) otherwise I tend to use tsr - I think sometimes it can be overlooked because of how long it takes to download things. but there is some amazing cc creators and cc on tsr.

I honestly don't edit much when it comes to in-game pictures unless I'm extremely bored; I might add a highlight or two. I use @hazelminesims PS actions and add noise and maybe some dust/scratch overlays. If I don't like the color grading on the picture, I'll correct it in PS.

I couldn't tell you what gshade I use cause I just take settings from different presets I like and combine them into one huge personal shade. Right now, mine is a mix of the almond preset, autumn preset, and primrose preset.

Today I am going to talk about a topic... and that is what I have seen in this community and in others... and also through experiences of my life throughout these years and it is about the topic of "copy" I know that many people make houses, sims, gshade, videos on YouTube, cc and many more things! I know that there are more simblrs with more likes or reblogs than others because they have their own unique content, their creativity ... I know that for example we come to fashions such as creating an autumn gshade or sim with an autumnal outfit or anything related to autumn with some colors or with some effects and boom! Let's imagine that a person has many likes and reblogs... then millions and millions of people look at the content of that x person and try to recreate it in the same way... in such a way that it seems that all the accounts are the same as his or hers or its format is the same... it's because he was inspired by that person because he recreated it...

Well, now I'm going to talk about copying... it bothers me sometimes in this community and in others that they start to do it, you have copied my sim, you have copied my house... and like many things... let's see... .for starters...it's very easy to "copy" everything since everyone has the same game! most! of players we have the same cc of x creator! the same presets! all! even if our "content" is different... also if you get to "copy" someone it's because you like something from that x person and you want it to look the same or similar in your game, you like a style, you admire someone or for some reason simply... and I'm talking about the sims as if I'm talking about clothes! Yes, how do you read it? Clothes... there are people who say you have copied my sweatshirt or shoes... and it's like I hesitated... how did you copy? So...if I copied you because Zara or Berskha make millions and millions of units of x clothing for their stores, if people go and start following you, you have copied this...you have copied that...well The same thing happens with the sims if you all get into it, you have copied this style... you have copied this cc... what fun would that have for the community? I don't know... I just... we all have the same game. .the same cc...everything...also...what would happen to the simmers youtubers who all upload challenges, or CAS or CC folder or so...if they complained so much about copying each other then they would not upload the most i have in cas or game, my fav skins details + cc links .... etc...also the creators of cc if we got to it are you doing tattoos too!? you are copying me !? eyes or etc... there would only be one x person making skins or tattoos only 1 person...

I know that copying is making something exact from something that already exists but... I can't stop recognizing that copying also inspires other people to make or recreate their content or that deep down they admire someone... but I know that it also has its bad side....

What I want to tell you with everything is to stop saying that if you have copied me in x thing if we can all access the same content, game or x thing... and stop enjoying people with the style or x thing that they like: )

Also, a friend of mine told me that: Oh, I wouldn't worry if someone accused you of copying something. It seems that the message came from someone who doesn't realize that each idea is a copy of a previous idea.
