The thick, humid air of the night clung to your skin, leaving a sticky and uncomfortable trace all over your swollen body. Being so far along in your pregnancy, sharing a hammock with Tsu’tey was becoming increasingly cramped. His chest pressed tightly into your back and despite your attempts to shift your weight for a cooler spot, to no avail, it was too difficult to move. You let out a soft sigh, giving up on the idea, a trickle of sweat ran down your forehead. But as you tried to drift back to sleep, you heard Tsu’tey’s ragged breathing, and for a second you thought that he might be having a nightmare.
“Tsu’tey?” you whispered in case he was asleep.
Tsu’tey hummed in response behind you, signaling that he was wide awake. You turned your head slightly, catching a glimpse of his profile in the dim moonlight. His eyes were open, staring up at the night sky.
With much effort, you turned around to lay on your other side and face him. Your big stomach immediately put a distance between your bodies, only brushing lightly against Tsu’tey’s core and bringing him out of his thoughts. You were exhausted, wishing to go back to sleep, but your mate losing sleep for the third night in the row was concerning, and it was about time that you comforted him.
“Go back to sleep, yawntu,” Tsu’tey mumbled, feeling a little guilty for your tired state.
He had to crane his neck awkwardly to lean down and plant a soft kiss on your forehead, something that he had gotten used to ever since your belly had grown in size.
“Why aren’t you asleep, Tsu’tey?” the grit in your voice sounded pleasantly sweet to his ears, “I can tell something is troubling you.”
“It’s nothing,” he shook his head lightly, his expression betraying his words.
“Please share with your muntxatu,” you offered, placing your palm on Tsu'tey's chest.
He softened at the gesture, covering your hand with his and squeezing it lightly. Your all-knowing warm gaze was like a gentle wind, slowly unraveling and peeling away each layer of fear and doubt he had been putting on for the past months.
“I am scared that… I won’t be good enough for her,” he confessed, his ears lowering in shame.
You blinked in confusion, tracing the soft glow of his freckles back to his eyes, that were unwilling to look at you. Your heart swelled at the realization that he was talking about your daughter.
“You have no reason to be scared, Tsu’tey, you will be everything she could ever wish for,” you scooted closer to him, as much as your body allowed you to.
“What if I’m not?” he let out a deep sigh, finally meeting your gaze with vulnerability reflecting in his own, “You know how I am, yawntu… I can be harsh sometimes. What if she sees that and gets scared? If she goes off running or gets lost, and I get angry with her, then what? I don’t want her to fear me… or hate me.”
“Your concern for her even before she's born shows how good of a father you will be, Tsu’,” you looked at him with a soft smile, “And I know you won't hurt her, just like you've never hurt me.”
“I will protect her with my whole heart if I need to. Both of you,” Tsu’tey declared, feeling it in his whole being.
And you knew he meant it. With every fiber in his body, Tsu’tey was committed to give his unborn child everything he could and more. His love for her was pouring out of every word he muttered, every gesture, every thought in his head.
“I know,” you hummed in contentment, “And both of us love you just for the way you are.”
His lips curled into a smile, and he leaned down to nuzzle your cheek, whispering a small ‘thank you.’ Tsu'tey rested his palm gently against your swollen belly, shifting to bring his face to the same level.
“Can’t wait to meet you,” he spoke softly to his unborn child, as you watched him with admiration.
Both of you felt a sudden movement from within your belly in response to his voice. Something small pressed against your skin, causing his eyes to widen, and Tsu’tey gently traced the imprint with his fingers, marveling at the sight he had already seen many times before.
“I think she’s saying it back,” you said. Tsu’tey nodded in satisfaction, pressing a kiss to your belly.
“I love you so much. Your mommy and you made me the happiest man alive, you know that?”
And just like a response, the baby kicked again, drawing out a laugh out of both of you.
“Feels like she’s going to talk back a lot when she learns how to,” you teased, smiling down at Tsu’tey.
“Going to be just like her mother,” he grinned back.
You rolled your eyes playfully but the smile on your lips widened. Seeing your mate so happy over your shared love was something you could never grow tired of.

neteyam sully - beautiful boy
This is the fluffiest thing I've ever written. I'm on my period and very emotional.
➵ summary: Neteyam's beauty renders you speechless, you can't help but gawk at him.
➵ pairing: neteyam x fem!reader (no use of y/n)
➵ word count: 990
➵ warnings: pure, teeth rotting fluff. it's so sweet that even I was embarrassed while writing it. reader is literally just pining after him like an idiot and doing nothing else. reader is a simp.
DON’T REPOST MY WORK
"Will you stop it?"
"But you're just so pretty,"
Sat snugly on Neteyam's lap, you're tracing his facial features with a gentle finger. Your mate, frustrated and flushed - a combo you've come to adore after years of knowing him - keeps swatting at your hand and grumbling lowly.
You can't help it though, he's just so pretty. The type of pretty you stare at for hours without getting enough of it, no matter how much you trace and retrace his facial features with wandering eyes. The type of pretty that has you questioning how, or rather who allowed him to be this beautiful. The inquiries are daily and, nonstop - Eywa's likely fed up with you bending your neck at the sky and letting out a muffled scream of misery.
Because Neteyam was a hurting kind of pretty - like he was incapable of making a facial expression that made him look even a tinge bit ugly, and this hurt your chest. Squeezed your heart until it shriveled and let out a pent, 'Enough, no more'. Worst of it all, you were free to touch. Free to look, free to fondle, and free to love. He was your mate, after all.
This thought brought you immense joy every waking hour of the day.
So, he should cut you some slack. You were allowed to trace his facial features, because he looks like that, and he needs to be marveled at and cooed at.
"I'm not pretty," he grumbles and squeezes your side in an effort to make you stop. It's useless, you're going nowhere. This is where you'll be spending the rest of your years, growing old and all that. Right between his arms. "I'm handsome and mighty!"
"Sure, you're all those. But you're also," you lean close to his ear, "pretty..."
Neteyam grumbles all the same but stays still when you return to tracing his romanesque nose. His eyes are closed and you can't help but stare at his lashes - dark and long, kissing his cheeks. "I can never say no to you, can I?"
You smile, deciding to stay silent. You both know the answer, Neteyam would jump into a fire if you asked nicely.
So, with this in mind, you give him the softest kisses - peppering them on his smooth cheeks tenderly. His face is truly gorgeous and right in front of you; you can't help but kiss his lips. It's tame but drawn out, a press of lips as Neteyam stays completely still. (Which is a struggle for him since your mate always has to be doing something useful with himself.) You feel him smile against your lips, and a big, warm hand closes around your nape. His beautiful lashes - the ones you were admiring just moments ago - flutter against your cheek.
Neteyam likes to look. Not as much as you, but he had the strange habit of opening his eyes mid-kiss. You don't know how this action became a habit of his, but you're sure it was between the periods of I want to hold your hand longer, and I think I'm in love with you.  It would have been weird if you opened your eyes as well, but your heart never allowed you to. It's surprising you even noticed him doing this since you melt into pudgy goo whenever his lips touch you. So curse Neteyam's long and perfect eyelashes, it's hard not to notice them when they flutter softly against your cheek and tickle your heart.
You pull away to which he whines, then continue your tracing. The tip of your pointer finger lingers on the curve of his lips - another feature you absolutely adore. His lip twitches and your finger moves to his bottom lip, pulling it down to watch it bounce back. The scene drives you crazy - causes your mind to reel.
His lips are plush and soft, and his skin is oh-so pliant under your body. Your hand cups the sides of his face, massaging his temples. Neteyam hums and wraps his tail around your waist possessively. "Feels good," his eyes flutter shut again, letting you knead at his face. You try to be as gentle as possible, yet determined to make full use of this moment your mate has allowed you.
You feel the need to knead and smooth over every inch of his body so somehow - hopefully - the ache to just settle into his entire being and live there for the rest of your life is soothed. And the ache scares you.
The intensity of your love scares you because sometimes you feel like you cannot breathe. Neteyam has that effect on you - stealing your breath away with a kind smile and not even being apologetic about it. He's not even aware of his effect on you, and you think that only makes him more guilty.
Punishing him is fun though - peppering kisses all over his face so he's unable to catch his breath as well, serves him right. You don't stop your kissing, out of breath and flushed.
"Stop!" Neteyam laughs breathily, trying to push you away. He catches your face between his palms and harshly kisses your lips. Like a kiss a young child would share with a crush, only to run away, giggling, because ewww.
You scrunch your nose, mumbling protests against his mouth. "You stop!"
He pulls away with a grin - and, oh Eywa. You're truly done for.
"I love you, so much. I could stay here all day, even if people come looking for us. Even if Eywa wills it herself for us to separate. I'm never letting you go, my love." he casually hums as he wraps his arms around you again, pressing you into his chest. So casual that you're baffled, looking up at him through your eyelashes with your lips parted. You feel your heart melting, sliding off from your parted lips and into his palms, snugly finding a new home in his hold.

Tumblr media
Y/n paces behind Lo’ak, Spider and Kiri. Her head hanging low as she slowly trudged behind them. Her hands were clasped in front of her, her fingers fiddling out of nervousness. She bit her lip furiously as anxiety settled deep with her stomach also causing her to almost retch. She couldn't help but feel fear, anxiety and nervousness about what's to come.
Neteyam, who had been pacing beside her slow pace, smirks in amusement. If Y/n had ears and a tail they would have been fidgeting like crazy right now. He found it funny how even though they were not the same species he was able to tell what she was feeling, just by watching her.
“You’re fidgeting” Neteyam points out, his tone laced with mirth.
Y/n jumped at his tone, her deep thoughts caused her to forget that the 8ft Na’vi was beside her. Smiling down at her as if she had done something funny.
“Am I? Why would I-I’m not nervous!”
“Didn’t say you were,” Neteyam smirks fully, watching how she didn’t seem to have control over her words. Y/n pouts, her cheeks flushing pink, a sight that Neteyam always adored.
“Wanna tell me what’s bothering you ka’lin flaw’m?” (Sweet cheeks) Neteyam teases, watching her cheeks burn brightly at the new nickname that has always enlisted the same response. Y/n sputters in embarrassment before being able to formulate actual words.
“I’-I….I’m just nervous. I haven’t met any Na’vi other than you guys…and I’m more scared about meeting your family” Y/n admits, her lips becoming more swollen at how harshly she bit them. Neteyam’s eyes soften at her words, slowing down to halt her steps as he places a comforting hand on her shoulder. He offers her a genuine smile to help comfort her.
“You have nothing to worry about Tsawksyul, you think Lo’ak did tell them about you?-'' Neteyam chuckles at the memory of their many shared dinners where Lo’ak spoke of Y/n with such interest.
His family had been notified of Y/n very early on and they knew she would come to visit them and the rest of the clan today. Though Neytiri was stern on the matter, after Jake reassured her that it would be ok she came to an understanding. Not too happy over the fact a human has been taking all her children’s time as of late. She agreed to it only because all her children spoke wisely and fondly of her. Especially her eldest, Neteyam.
“-He practically talked their ears off over the fact he’s met a human who can breathe without a mask! And about how kind you are. You are his favorite human and that’s saying something” Neteyam encourages, his ears standing up in happiness as a smile crosses the girl's face. Something he had been missing the moment he and his siblings came to pick her up from the base.
Y/n giggles, peering up at the taller male who had crouched down to her level. Her eyes fill with adoration as they trace over his features, her blush not ceasing as she utters out the next few words.
“Do you think I’m kind?” She asks, sounding hopeful.
Neteyam sighs out dreamily, his large hand tucking a strand of her soft hair behind her hair. He smiles softly, his eyes tracing over her eyes and landing on her plump lips.
“Kind, doesn't begin to cover how I feel,”
~~~~~~~
“Y/m/f/n?!?!” Neytiri calls when her eyes land on the tiny human walking alongside her eldest, who stood by her protectively. The little human in question casts a confusing glance between Neytiri and Neteyam, confused as to why his mother uttered her own mothers name.
“T-that’s…my moth-”
Neytiri roughly pulls away from her mate's grasp as she crosses the few steps towards the girl at an alarming speed. Neteyam braces himself to protect Y/n from his mother if needed, his legs ready to evade the attack that never came. Neytiri crouches down right before Y/n, pulling her in for a gentle hug.
“Oh thank you great mother, thank you!!” Neytiri whispers into the smaller girl's hair, tears streaming down her face. Y/n melts into the embrace, the feeling of a motherly figure holding her so delicately causing her to choke up as well.
Neytiri slowly pulls away, still holding the girl's shoulders as if she were scared that Y/n would disappear. Y/n wipes her face in embarrassment as Neytiri sighs out, as if a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Neteyam’s tail swishes behind him stiffly, carefully watching the entire interaction.
“Y-you knew my mother…?” Y/n asks softly, recalling all the logs and Norms and Max’s stories of her mother immersing herself in Na’vi culture, offering her aid and growing close to Neytiri who had been there the day she was born.
“I did. She was a wonderful woman, someone I called my sister….” Neytiri admits softly, her mate Jake quietly walking closer towards them. His eyes widening momentarily at the uncanny resemblance between Y/n and her mother they had lost years ago.
“I thought I lost both of you that day….You look just like your mother.” Neytiri muses, casting a glance at her son who was still weary of her being this close to Y/n. Neteyam smiles at his mother's glance, trying not to show how happy he was that his mother immediately accepted Y/n upon first glance.
“What's your name, little one?”
“Her name is Y/n '' Neteyam says softly, his eyes turning to Y/n.
A human that represented change, a new change that he welcomed with open arms. Maybe she is the key to their future, the key to live alongside humans harmoniously. She was a gift in his eyes, and his expression showed his feelings blatantly, which caused Jake to smirk.
“Beautiful ... .just like you” Neytiri whispers, wiping the tears from her cheek as she smiles fondly at Y/n.
Neteyam who still stayed beside Y/n the entire time smiles wide at his mothers words, words he truly believed as well.
~~~~~~~~
After the well received introduction to the clan a few weeks ago, Y/n was granted full availability into the clan. She was able to watch in on riding sessions of direhorses, she was able to watch Mo’at work her magic on wounded villagers and she was even welcomed to meals with the Sully’s.
Though there would be a tiny disagreement on where she would sit (mostly a disagreement between Neytiri and Neteyam, both wanting Y/n to sit near them) other than that her days were filled with lessons and adventure.
What she could only dream of, finally coming true at last. The villagers also recognized her efforts to help around, whether it be assisting the elderly with moving things she was able to carry to helping Mo’at with her healing practices. The villagers were happy and welcoming of her, wanting to get to know her as well.
“Hi!! I’m No’eng, I see you around the village a lot. Nice to meet you” A male Na’vi  who had approached Neteyam and Y/n as they were holding baskets for Mo’at, smiled at Y/n. Almost fully disregarding Neteyam who glares at the older, yet shorter boy. His curious eyes take in her form, analyzing her from top to bottom.
“Oh! I’m Y/n, nice to meet you too!” Y/n smiles wide, appreciating how the male chooses to crouch down to her level for an easier conversation. Neteyam clears his throat, the male’s attention leaving Y/n’s stature to face him.
“Hi Neteyam”
“Hi.”
“So….-” The male looks back at Y/n. Flashing a charming smile that has her blushing. “-if you ever want to hang around, I can show you some cool stuff. Also I’d love to get to know you better, I’m curious about a human as unique as you” he adds, flashing his pearly whites.
Feeling quite nervous  under his calculating gaze,  Y/n glances at Neteyam who had his jaws clenched tightly, “Oh-that’s nice but-”
“It’s ok No’eng, I’ve got her”
No’eng offers Y/n a quick smile before standing up to face Neteyam, who doesn't back down though he is speaking to someone who is older than him. “Oh. I thought you were busy with your duties?” No’eng asks, tilting his head in question.
“I can work around my schedule” Neteyam seethes through clenched teeth, his free hand reaching down to grasp Y/n’s tiny ones.
“C’mon Y/n, we're leaving” Neteyam announces, tugging her softly.
“Oh…ok. See you around” Y/n hurriedly replies as she follows Neteyam the longer route to Mo'at's tent.
“What was that about?”
“It’s nothing, let’s go”
“It sure didn’t feel like nothing”
~~~~~~~~
Y/n rests her head on her  palm as she lazily stares at the Na’vi in front of her, working on his bow. His fingers glide against the bow with ease as he carves delicately into the wood.
Y/n smiles softly to herself admiring the beauty that Neteyam provided. When did he steal her heart? She didn’t know. All that she did know was her growing infatuation with the taller Na’vi that she came to a realization not too long ago.
It just seemed like her love came out of nowhere, and at the wrong time. Y/n had been moping over her love for Neteyam as she watched the way several female Na’vi their age would approach him. All with the desire to mate the future Olo’eyktan.
Y/n knew her feelings had no potential. No matter how much she loved him, they were not the same species. Not meant to be. She couldn’t express her feelings even if she wanted to. They were of two worlds. And she knew she had no chance.
“Y/n?” Neteyam calls worriedly, catching the h/c girl off guard as she jumps in her seat.
“Oh sorry! You were saying something?” Y/n replies quickly, her cheeks stained crimson at being caught gawking at him. And if Neteyam noticed her lovesick stare, he didn’t say anything about it. His thoughts occupy his entire thoughts at the moment.
“Kiri saw you with No’eng yesterday”  he states, his eyes watching  her for any lie she would present. Unfortunately for him, Y/n was the purest soul he could have ever met. She never lied, her truth always slipping out of her.
“Oh yea! He ran into me on his way to the Tsahik’s tent. I helped him out with the minor wound he wanted to inquire about. Thank goodness I carry my medical pouch with me” Y/n says proudly, patting her pouch strapped to her waist filled with first aid as well as herbs she felt came in handy with her medicinal practice.
Neteyam clears his throat, noting  how she answered him so innocently. Clearly she didn’t have any ill intentions with her interactions with that specific Na’vi. But Neteyam knew, No’eng did.
“So you…helped him?”
“Yes!…was that wrong?”
Neteyam shakes his head, he always admired how easily Y/n jumped into helping anyone. But in this case he would have to pretend he didn’t feel too offended by her actions to spare her feelings.
“No, it’s just you’ve never done that for me”
Y/n’s mouth forms into an ‘o’, her eyes crinkling as she lets out an amused chuckle at his expense.
“Because you always come back unscathed. And when you do injure yourself your always run off to Mo’at before I can assess the injury”
Neteyam smirks at her words, proof that he was a great warrior, rarely getting hurt during missions and hunts. He slyly raises an eyebrow, leaning towards her his bow long forgotten.
“So you're saying if I get injured and come to you ... .you'll help?”
“Of course!”
~few moments later~
Y/n hums to herself, her fingers working carefully to pull the herbs she had been tasked to bring for Mo’at. She takes a whiff of the smell of the particular herb, the minty aroma filling her senses.
“Y/n!”
Neteyam bursts through the bushes startling Y/n and Tuk who was busy weaving a flower crown nearby. Neteyam was clutching his hand against his chest as Y/n ran to him in alarm, dropping the herbs along the way. Just as she is in front of him, her eyes trace over his body in worry. Landing on the hand he clutched close to himself.
“Neteyam!? What’s wrong?”
She shakily reaches out to bush her delicate soft fingers against his arm, missing the smile that spreads across his lips as he reveals the wound.
“Oh my god, what happened”
Neteyam shrugs off her concern, sitting down on the ground to which Y/n follows. Her hand rubs soothingly along the wound as she grabs her pouch in a hurry.
“I got a cut from my arrow”
Y/n bites her lips from laughing out loud as she works to clean and bandage the tiny but deep wound. The entire time Neteyam was unmoving, watching how she moved so gracefully to tend to his tiny cut and had not realized that she had finished before she even started.
“There, all better” Y/n announces, wiping around the wound while smiling down at her handiwork. Just as she finishes she looks up to Neteyam, only to catch his eyes already locked onto her, a shit eating grin across his lips.
“Why are you smiling like that…..” Y/n questions looking back at the wound and at his smug face.
Y/n tilts her head, his eyes widening in realization as she pieced everything together. Neteyam was very careful, calculated as you should be as a warrior. He wouldn't, he couldn’t get a tiny cut from handling a mere arrow head. It just wasn't like him. It was as if he…intended on getting hurt. Though very minor, it granted him a tiny precious moment with Y/n, the same moment he was jealous of nothing she did the same to No’eng.
“You planned this--didn’t you?”
“I have no idea what you’re insinuating Y/n,”
~~~~~~~~
“Oh!! That's pretty neat” Norm compliments, his fingers brushing over the beautiful rock on Y/n’s desk. Even in the dimly lit room of the base the rock glittering beautifully, graining his attention as Norm carefully picks up the beautiful rock for further and up close inspection.
Upon hearing Norm, Y/n swoops around in her seat. Her eyes widen as she quickly gets up to make sure Norm was handling the rock with utmost care.
“Careful!!!” Y/n says, cupping her hands near Norm’s as if ready to catch it should it slip from his firm grasp. Norm chuckles, his eyes scanning over her panicked state over a mere rock.
“What's wrong? This isn't my first time handling a rock Y/n, what's so special about this one?” Norm asked quizzically, his eyebrows raised as he finally set the rock back down.
He watched in amusement at how Y/n sighs out in relief when it's set on top of her desk. Her very sturdy desk where it had been placed, days ago.
“I-It's just a rock, a pretty rock! That's why-”
“Neteyam gave it” Spider butts in,  peeking his head in through the door. Y/n immediately flushes pink at his words, her lower lip jutting out in a pout.
It was indeed a gift from Neteyam, along with many others he had given her. He had been showering Y/n with little trinkets for a while now that she had carefully wrapped and added to her growing collection that was kept hidden in her room.
She didn't want anyone to ask questions as to why she had them or who gave them to her.  Her heart always soaring whenever Neteyam bought her something of Pandora’s beauty as a gift. At first it seemed out of the blue, but Y/n was ecstatic nevertheless.
And over time it progressed to a regular occurrence. Neteyam would bring rocks, features, flowers from his hunts and missions. He brought her anything that he thought was beautiful and could interest her.
He had even hunted and forged fruits for her, which he always asked his father if it was safe for human consumption before he presented them to her, which they shared in each other's presence.
Y/n loved the way his chest would puff out with pride when she would marvel at  his hunting and foraging stills. He had even weaved her a little pouch to carry with her when she was in the mood for gathering herbs or specimens.
Y/n felt honored that Neteyam always thought of her, butterflies would erupt deep within her when she would realize that on his missions he would take the time to find something for her.
Beautiful gifts that Y/n began looking forward to.
But that's all they were. Gifts. Despite a small part of her wishing they were courting gifts, Y/n knew that was too good to be true. Though she did notice how Neteyam never seemed to give any other female such gifts. She chalked it up to Neteyam taking his training and learning way too seriously to look for a mate. To him, she thought of herself as mere entertainment. A friend.
“Spider! You little!!” Y/n growls , trying to get past Norm to slap the smug look on her friend's face. Norm holds her back chuckling at her antics,  a small part of him panging with interest.
“Is this the first time?” Norm asks when Y/n shows no sign of going after Spider. Y/n opens her mouth to speak, to lie about how many gifts she had carefully stashed away for her viewing only.
“Plenty! Neteyam always brings her stuff from his hunts and missions! He even gave her the arrow head he had fashioned into a necklace from one of his very successful hunts!” Spider snickers, recalling how Y/n had blushed so intensely when she was given the very generous and thoughtful offering. The best gift in her opinion, that  she dared not to wear just to preserve it for all of eternity.,
Norm’s eyes widen, his jaw going slightly ajar. If that wasn’t a sign the Neteyam, the future Olo’eyktan, was courting Y/n. He didn't know what else it was.
“You're dead!!” Y/n hisses, running past Norm to run after Spider. His cackles fill the corridor as he rushes towards the lab, fully  intending on running outside where he knew he would most like loose Y/n. He hurriedly places his Exo-pack on while rushing past the door he had managed to press open in time.
“Come back here!!!” Y/n roars with bubbling anger, stopping to press in the code as the door swooshes open. She stumps in heavily, ready to murder Spider with her bare hands for embarrassing her only to stop a few feet from a smirking Spider. And Neteyam, who was crouched behind him.
A breathing mask hangs from his neck as he watches the anger from Y/n eyes disappear as she realizes Neteyam had dropped by, and was in the comfort of the lab.
“Uhhhhh” Y/n’s brain short circuits , her whole  face flushing deep crimson realizing how not only had she been angered over the teasing over the certain Na’vi. But said Na’vi also saw her stomp into the lab, fully angered. Could the situation have been any more mortifying?
“Hi Neteyam… h-…Hi!!” Y/n stutters, placing her hands being her back hoping he didn't notice her fists ready to knock Spider into a different universe.
“Hi Tsawksyul, is everything ok?” Neteyam asks, glancing in between Spider and Y/n. Y/n could have sworn Spider’s smirk widened at his words as she tried to force a smile.
“Yea bro, Y/n was just telling me how great I am. Isn’t that right Y/n?” Spider tilts his head mockingly as Y/n writes a mental note to deal with him later.
“Y-yea, that's right. What a…g-great guy” Y/n says through her clenched teeth.
Neteyam chuckles in amusement as he carefully crosses the distance towards Y/n. He pulls out his hair as he unwraps his fist. Y/n let's out a gasp as she stares at the beautiful gem, it looked ethereal as it glitters beautifully. It was clear, like water but had an iridescent sheen to it, a beauty Y/n had never seen.
“I found this gem near the river, I wanted to weave it into a band of some sort but I got a little too excited to show you. Do you like it?” Neteyam asks softly, nervously watching how Y/n’s focused on the gem that he places in her awaiting smaller ones. Y/n caress the smooth surface of the gem, her eyes marveling at its beauty.
“Like it? I love it! It's so beautiful Neteyam!! Thank you!”
Y/n leaps into Neteyam’s arms, catching him off guard for a second which he quickly recovers by wrapping his larger arm around her to prevent her from falling.
Though Y/n and Neteyam had grown extremely close to one another, other than holding hands and poking each other teasingly they rarely hugged. Y/n tried to implement  ‘friendly’ hugs into their daily routine, loving how her smaller body always melted against his larger one.
But choose no to continue on with it due to how much her heart would beat out of her chest. She didn't want Neteyam knowing how much she loved hugging him.
Unbeknownst to her, Neteyam always sought out her hugs, feeling like he was truly a fine warrior when he hugged her because when his body wrapped around her he felt as though he was protecting her. And the fact then when she was this close to him he was able to smell her, up close. A scent he couldn't help but adore.
“N-no problem. I'm glad you like it!” Neteyam replies as Y/n carefully pulls away to stand in front of him, smiling wide.
Neteyam felt his heart soar, his little Tsawksyul accepting another gift that he acquired for her. Setting hope deep within him as he secretly prepared the main gift he wished to give her soon.
~~~~~~~~
Y/n’s hand stayed clasped with Neteyam’s larger ones the entire walk here, especially when Neteyam had informed her he had something he wanted to show her. A surprise, in his words.
But once the ‘thing’ he wanted to show her came into view, Y/n’s hand immediately slipped through his finger as she mindlessly walked towards the beautiful; and breathtaking structure, her eyes drinking it in as she drew near.
Neteyam quietly watches how she steps closer to their sacred trees, her steps timid and careful, Her breathing escaping out on soft gasp as she scanned the trees from the roots to the highest tendril she could get into view.
Tumblr media
“This is the tree of souls, our most sacred place” Neteyam says soft;ly, making sure to keep his voice quiet so as to not surprise her in her awe filled gaze. Y/n slowly turns to  Neteyam, her smile stretching wide. She turns back to the tree as Neteyam’s ears twitch, his eyes traveling to the sky above as he notices a few Atokirina float towards him, his eyes growing fond at the sight.
“Wow Neteyam, it’s magnificent. My mother spoke of this place in her logs, she wasn't well enough during her pregnancy to come out to see it ... .I can’t believe I’m here” Y/n speak softly, biting her lips as her eyes gloss over sightly. Feeling overwhelmed. Neteyam nods at her words, the feeling radiating from the trees soothing and filled with hope.
“It's a place very important to us, it’s a place where prayers are heard. And sometimes answered” Neteyam explains, stepping closer to a tendril near him. He holds it within his grasp as Y/n watches it glow under his hold. Her eyes sting with slight envy knowing that the Na’vi can connect with such an amazing structure.
Y/n catches a glimpse of an Atokirina that floats closer to them, just floating above Neteyam’s head.
“I wish I could connect with it ...have a connection with Ewya like you do” Y/n mumbles out, her eyes watching how Neteyam smiles fondly at the woodsprite that landed on his palm. It flutters under his touch before it floats away, and towards Y/n.
Neteyam smiled reassuringly, his eyes watching carefully as Y/n reached out to let the pure spirit land on her palm. She smiles sadly at the spirit who stays there, finding comfort in her wrath as she refuses to move away, refusing to let the pure spirit leave her hand, the only thing that made her feel welcomed. A part of the clan.
“You do have a connection, '' Neteyam states, crouching down to her level. He scoots closer to her, his eyes dancing in between the woodsprite and her face as she tilts her head in confusion.
“Huh? How so?” Y/n asks, making sure not to scare the atokirina away. Neteyam chuckles, as if he knew something she didn't.
“You have a connection with Ewya, you are special Y/n. Don’t you see? You’ve been granted the ability to survive in our environment, with no aid from your human devices. Something that you are gifted with and others lack the ability to decipher.-” Neteyam smiles, watching Y/n’s eyes grow wide at his words. Her eyes gloss over with a thick layer of tears as she turns back to the woodsprite . As if to agree with Neteyam it flutters, tickling her palm to which she lets out a giggle.
“ -You've been chosen by Ewya, You are one of us Y/n” Neteyam adds just as the woodsprite slowly floats back up into the tree. Y/n faces Neteyam, desperately trying to hold back a sob. Neteyam places a hand on her shoulder, reeling her in for a hug. Y/n melts into the embrace, her hands forming into tiny fists, her face buried into Neteyam’s broad chest.
“Oh Neteyam '' Y/n whispers, her words shakily leaving her trembling lips. She tried to hold in her resolve only for it to crumble into Neteyam’s soft embrace, her shoulders shaking as Neteyam tried to soothe her, rubbing her back.
“Thank you,…thank you so much” Y/n mumbles, sobs racking her body as Neteyam presses a featherlight kiss against her hair, breathing in her scent deeply. If Y/n had not been so emotional she would have exploded at the gesture, but now, it felt reassuring. Comforting. For that fleeting moment she truly felt like one of the people, one of the clan, despite being a tawtute.
“Don’t cry my Tsawksyul, I’m only speaking the truth” Neteyam murmurs, his eyes turning above whilst still holding tightly. His eyes follow a few atokirina that float above them. As if approving of their union. Neteyam sighs out, his heart soaring above the clouds knowing this was a sign from his ancestors. From Ewya. That Y/n, was meant for him.
~~~~~~~~~
It's been several days since the faithful day Y/n had seen the tree of souls. And her heart had never felt any fuller. She didn't know how to exp[lain it, but she felt reborn. She felt one with the Na’vi, and the feeling of acceptance drowning her with pure happiness.
“Is something troubling you Y/n?”  Neytiri asks in the midst of rebranding Tuk’s hair.
Today Y/n had decided to visit her favorite Na’vi, other than Neteyam. Neytiri had been like a mother she never had, always treating her with such love and adoration. Y/n couldn't help but always want to stay in her presence.
“No! It's just…Neteyam took me somewhere the other day, and I cant get it out of my head” Y/n admits which only causes Neytri to smile slyly. She taps Tuk’s shoulder who jumps up, rushing out of the tent to show her friends her newly braided hair.
Neytiri scoots over to Y/n, taking a knife for herself to assist Y/n in cutting the fruit. The task she tried to keep her mind busy with, busy from the lingering thoughts of the spirit tree and the thoughts that consumed her from that night.
“Regarding the spirit tree?” Neytiri asks, her mind recalling how Neteyam approaches both her and Jake for permission to take Y/n there. They both had agreed immediately, sensing something deeply special with her.
Neytiri was surprised when Neteyam had come rushing back to tell them how the visit went, and how his questions deep within his heart had been answered. Neytiri was ecstatic that the response was immediate, and so positive. She knew Y/n was special, special enough to be more than worthy for her son.
“Y-yes. It was magnificent. I was so in awe…I felt at peace, as if I finally knew my true self….but”
Neytiri’s ears stand at her words, a small frown forming.
“But?”
“But, I have this…feeling. Questions that refuse to leave me….feelings I  don't think…I should be having”
Neytiri giggles bashfully. She would be a fool not to notice the longing glances Y/n always threw Neteyam’s way. As if he carried the entire world in the palm of his hand. Y/n couldn't look away from him, her loving gaze following him when he wasn't looking. .
Neytiri knew that Y/n loved her son, and she knew her son felt that and more for her in return. After the blessings from their ancestors, Neytiri had patiently waited for the day their union would be confirmed.
“Sometimes…..what you fear, what you're uncertain about is what you need,” Neytiri says softly, her ears standing as she hears hurried footsteps come near their family tent where they currently reside.
“Sometimes it's best just to follow your heart, no questions asked. For it's the heart that knows what you truly desire” Neytiri says softly, her hand reaching up to tuck a strand of hair behind Y/n’s ear endearingly.
Y/n’s eyes widen, her heart getting stuck in her throat. Had Neytirii…indirectly given her blessing? Had she realized what Y/n meant?
Before Y/n could reply the tents flaps rustle, Neteyam walking through to see his mother and Y/n conversing closely. Neytiri catches how his tail swishes behind him excitedly when his eyes land on Y/n. His body betrayed him in showing how he reacted automatically within her presence.
Neteyam takes in a few deep breaths to calm himself down, nodding towards his mother before turning fully to Y/n.
“Y/n, will you please accompany me? I have something I wish to…speak about '' Neteyam says, his cheeks flushing purple. Y/n nods immediately, getting up to follow him out.
“May the great mother watch over both of you!” Neytiri calls, her smile only stretching wider knowing her son was finally taking the necessary steps into his future.
~~
“Y/n…I have something I want to give you” Neteyam says nervously under the spirit tree. Y/n was ecstatic when Neteyam brought her back to the spirit tree, but she did find it odd with how he acted. As if he was nervous. Fidgety. Shy even.
“Me? What is it?” She points to herself as she follows him closer to the tree. Neteyam nervously bites his lips as he comes to a stop, pulling something from a pouch tied to his waist. Y/n peers at the item, her eyes widening as a surprised gasp escaped her lips.
Neteyam delicately held a necklace, a necklace that he had been weaving carefully for a while now. Adorned with beautiful pearls and gems that he knew Y/n loved. And in the center of the necklace, was a beautiful round gem, with something in it.
“Oh my Neteyam, that's beautiful! Did you make this?” Y/n breathes out, stepping closer to inspect the beautifully crafted piece.
“Yes. I encased a Tsawksyul in amber to preserve it forever…..Because it represented you so well” Neteyam whispers, watching Y/n’s trembling fingers brush over the center. Her eyes caught sight of the Tsawksyul petals encased in the amber, a flower that would never wilt. For all of eternity. The very same flower he had called her, that meant so much to her.
Y/n accepts the necklaces as Neteyam reaches up to wipe the tears that cascaded down her cheeks unknowingly.
“Don’t cry Tsawksyul,” Neteyam murmurs lovingly, his heart beating wildly knowing that she had the necklace in her hands. A sign she had accepted it. Accepted him and all he had to offer.
“Sorry, it’s just so beautiful...but should you be giving me such a beautiful necklace?” Y/n asks, turning to face Neteyam. He frowns at her words, his eyebrows scrunching quizzically just as he crouches down fully to her level.
“Why not? Do you not like it?” He asks timidly, his ears folding against his head in sadness.
“No! I love it,…but I’m aware that in Na’vi culture men create gifts for potential mating partners. I don’t want anyone to misunderstand when they see me wearing this”  Y/n counters nervously, making Neteyam’s frown deepen.
“Surely you didn’t mean anything like that…right?” Y/n asks softly, her heart breathing at the thought Neteyam would have to give a gift like this to his future mate. Eventually.
“Are you,…rejecting the gift?” Neteyam asks, the color draining from his face.
“No! I…I”
“Because that’s what it means Y/n….it’s a courting gift,.” Neteyam explains softly, Y/n freezes when realization hits her like a ton of bricks.
“Neteyam,”
“Y/n….since the moment you stumbled into my life everything has changed. From your presence, your scent, your eyes and your beautiful voice, I’ve been entranced. I knew you were special but I didn’t know you’d grow to be this special to me. For the past month I’ve been showing you I could be a good mate, I’ve shown you I could provide and gave you trinkets you love and adore. Just to see you smile. I even asked my family for their acceptance, Mother and Mo’at agreed happily…..I thought you’d feel the same-”
“I do!! Neteyam-'' Y/n blurts out, her cheeks stained bright red at this point. Neteyam’s ears perk up at her words, his eyes trained on her as she gathers her courage to formulate her feelings in a proper way.
“Neteyam. You took my breath away, the moment I laid eyes on you. Both figuratively and literally. I was enamored with you the moment I  got to know you I just….I just never thought you'd feel the same for a human like me. I---we could never truly bond Neteyam….I'm..Human.….”  Y/n whispers, wiping her stray tears away. Neteyam frowns at her confession, his hands pulling her hand away to cup her cheeks.
“Tawksyul, how can you say that?” Neteyam felt his heart beat wildly at her confession but also shattered knowing she felt like that.
“Y/n Tsaheylu is a bond. Bonding can be anything. For instance I feel so close to you when I hold you like this, when you smile at me. When youre beautiful eyes watch and follow me. I couldn't feel closer to you. I feel a bond between us. That's why I cannot stray away. It's like I'm tied to you somehow. We don't need tsaheylu when I connect with you in every other way.” Neteyam murmurs, his face inching closer as he finally rests his forehead against hers. Y/n closes her eyes at the sensation, still tightly gripping the beautiful necklace.
“You’re not just some human, you are special in every sense of the word. I love you for everything you are and everything you will be. That day we met…it was fateful, written in the stars. It's as if Ewya brought us together, I wouldn't have it any other way.” Neteyam admits, watching her beautiful eyes flutter open. Y/n chokes on a sob, her free hand places itself over his larger ones.
“Oh Neteyam” Y/n whimpers, her nose ticking against his. Neteyam chuckles heartedly, his own eyes stinging with tears, tears of joy and fear of rejection.
“So, will you have me? For life”
“Yes Neteyam. I couldn't have it any other way. I love you.” Y/n whispered, her lips ghosting over his own. Neteyam sighs out shakily, his heart feeling full under her heavy response. He gently presses his lips against her, feeling her warmth spread against his entire body. The kiss he had been dreaming of for months, feeling that much more surreal now that he felt her press up against him. He couldn't be happier for Ewya bringing them together, many moons ago. Neteyam slowly pulls away from this kiss, his eyes endearingly watching the way she tried to catch her breath. His lips swollen and pink, begging to be kissed again.
“Oel ngati kameie Y/n, my precious yawne,”
“Oel ngati kameie Ma’Neteyam, forever and always”

Chapter 2 𓆩♡𓆪
And you wanna scream
"Don't call me "kid", don't call me "baby"!"
(...)
Look at this idiotic fool that you made me
You taught me a secret language I can't speak with anyone else
And you know damn well
For you I would ruin myself a million little times
illicit affairs (Taylor Swift)

"Hmmm, babyyy..." Jake cooed for you "you make me feel so good. Such a warm, tight little pussy. All coated with your juices, all for me." he was thrusting into you, painfully slow but deep.
"Jakey, tell me I'm your slut, please." You moaned, looking at Jake's face that was contorted with the raw pleasure he felt anytime he fucked you.
He smirked sensually
"You're my sweet little slut." He was wrapping one of his big blue hands around your neck, applying a little pressure, enough to make it harder for you to breathe but not enough to make it impossible. You loved feeling him choking you like that. Jake loved looking at your young, doll like face and seeing that he made you feel as good as you made him feel.
The older Omatikaya man kept fucking you vigorously, he used your pussy as he pleased, whenever he pleased (the only time you said "no" was when you were feeling too sick or was busy with your job as a xenobotanist). You even let Jake fuck you while you were sleeping. You two had talked about it beforehand and made a deal. He could wake you up by touching, eating or fucking your pussy anytime he wanted to, as long as he was gentle in the beginning until you were actually up. After you were awake, he had a free pass to violate you as hard as his urges told him to. You two were a great match as the both of you liked it rough.
"I don't understand how you do this to me but you make me wild, babygirl. You're so fucking amazing. Best pussy I've ever had."
"Yeah?" You asked, smiling, out of breath. Jake spoke a low "mmhmm" and kept pushing his cock in and then putting it out of your cunt, over and over. A white creamy substance created a ring around the lowest part of the shaft of his member.
"Damn, you're creaming my cock, babygirl. You're so perfect. Fuuuuck..." He slammed his hips against you mercilessly, making loud noises echo around your small room, located in the science lab.
Jake started to kiss your lips while he gave you his last thrusts, his upcoming orgasm getting closer as the seconds passed. You felt a really warm thick liquid being released in the inner part of your pussy. Jake was coming undone inside you, moaning loud and in a low tone of voice, riding out his orgasm on you.
He breathed heavy, getting his composure back. After that, he kissed your forehead and pulled you into his big arms, even bigger compared to you as you were a human girl and even though he was once human too, now he lived in a na'vi body forever.
"Wanna stay like this for a while? My arms wrapped around your body, my cum dripping down your beautiful thighs?" Jake whispered looking at you with big amber eyes
"Always." You said and positioned your head in the middle of his chest, listening to his fast heartbeat.
After a minute or so, you finally spoke: "Jakey..."
The na'vi looked at you, listening attentively.
You chuckled a bit, your cheeks getting red "Am I really the best you've ever had?"
Jake smiled wide, a dirty look in his face
"Yes. Your body makes me feel stuff I've never felt before. You have such a great, juicy little pussy. Always so wet for me, always clenching around my cock." He gently touched your face, looking down at your mouth "Nobody compares to you."
"Nobody?" You asked, your heart almost stopping for a while, afraid of an honest answer. You knew Jake was really honest and even blunt, sometimes.
"Nobody. I promise you, my babygirl." His thumb traveled through your upper lip until it got to your lower lip. He used his finger to slightly open your mouth, pushing your lower lip down carefully. You kissed his thumb, huge compared to your human mouth.
Nobody compares to you. Not even Neytiri, you thought.
You knew you were starting to sound obsessed and sick. But you loved Jake so much it hurt. He made you feel protected, safe, happy and complete. He was yours. He had to be... you just hoped he was actually telling you the truth.
Jake kissed you hungrily. His lips were rough against yours but after some time kissing you, he slowed the pace and started to kiss you gently but with so much passion, his tongue massaging yours and tasting your mouth, a fire burning deep inside of him. The way you tasted left him intoxicated. He had never had a woman do that to him. It was such a fervent feeling that ran through his veins anytime he touched you, kissed you, smelled you. He got feral anytime he could smell your cunt was wet for him, his na'vi senses helping him with that.
But it wasn't only lust. Jake knew he had strong feelings for you. Romantic feelings. But he still loved Neytiri, even after her passing. She had been his mate, the one who taught him the na'vi ways. She gave birth to his two sons, Neteyam and Lo'ak, and to his little daughter, Tuk, and she helped him raise Kiri, their adoptive daughter.
In his mind, a man could not love two women at the same time. It was just unfair in his opinion. To everyone involved in the situation.
"I adore you. So much, kid. Please, don't ever push me away or decide you don't wanna deal with my bullshit anymore. I know it must be annoying to deal with an old man ranting about his teenage sons causing trouble when you just wanna talk about something fun and relax." Jake felt insecure "I need you. I don't know what I'd do without you."
"I'll never leave you. I couldn't even if I wanted to. I need you too, Jakey. You're everything to me." You said, chest filled with a violent and beautiful feeling. Love.
Jake smiled so wide and kissed you again, using both his hands to hold your face.
He would say such beautiful words to you... And you knew he was being true. Jake was not the kind of guy to lie to others, to play with people's feelings for his own gain. He was not selfish. But he never said the word "love". He never said "I love you". "I need you"? Yes, you had that. "I love you"? No... you weren't special enough. You weren't Neytiri, right?
You felt rage being born from the depths of you, a bitter feeling, filled with a strong bad energy. You knew that was not fair to Neytiri. You didn't hate her. She had been a brave, wise, good and beautiful na'vi woman. What you felt was jealousy. You were incredibly jealous of Neytiri. Of the power she still had over Jake, of the hold she still had on him, even after many months after her death.
Considering all that, you quickly fought against that terrible ugly feeling of rage and was able to wash it all away soon enough. You had to enjoy the last moments you had left with Jake. He would soon go to his house to sleep. He never stayed over. He never held you while you slept and you never woke up in his arms in the morning. He was a family man and you were just a nerdy girl he was involved with. You couldn't even call yourself his girlfriend. Let alone his wife, or better, his mate, as he's a na'vi.
Jake always said you were special to him. But how special were you? Like truly? If he never called you his girlfriend, maybe you just did not mean that much to him after all. Maybe he just felt lonely and heartbroken after becoming a widow and his wound was still open and aching, so, he took you as a bandaid, to help him heal, to make him forget the pain. Nothing more.

Divine fire, hellish greed: dark fantasy AU concept
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“ A willful boy with a formidable curse.
A mad king revived in a new form.
What has destiny in plan for each? ”
Lore/context (can be skipped):
In a land of wonders and magic, two races have long since coexisted in its seas, forests and deserts; Humans and the Na’vi. Legends often spoke that Na’vi stemmed from forest spirits, who inhabited Eywa’s embrace in times long forgotten, while humans are said to be descendants of stars hanging over the land.
Some say that when a star falls, a human is born. They are often thereby called “sky-people”, or “people of the stars”.
However, because their origins are not of the land, they never possessed a kuru; a way to bond with their new home. As result, many began forgetting great mother’s teachings, and that lead to the emergence of kingdoms. Na’vi followed suit, but not fully, their towers built of stone found above ground and hugged by sprawling vines, keeping them steady, connected.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Human kingdoms grew higher and higher, pale and perfect in their shape, perhaps to reach the stars they have long ago abandoned, and that brought them at conflict with their home. Digging and mining disrupted a fragile balance, yet kingdoms, one in particular, kept growing amidst the chaos.
Its king, Selfridge, was notorious for his greed, which soon led him to discovering a new, never before seen type of magic. One that could make the grandest of ships fly as if they were lighter than a feather, and create weapons of unthinkable destruction. Life-force magic was capable of performing incredible feats as long as wielded by an experienced sorcerer, but there was no such thing as an infinite resource. Everything, including magic, had to draw from something, and draw it did, from the life of Eywa’eveng herself.
As ships soared, the magic drained energy from land itself, from the tiniest sprout to the strongest pali. Not even the mighty thanator could draw breath once the spell went into effect. It killed all which is in sight to fuel itself.
That is the cost, and majority of humans accepted it. Those who didn’t, migrated to Na’vi kingdoms to live amongst those who shared their reverence for nature.
One of life-force magic creations were avatars. Creatures conjured by trapping stolen energy and giving it shape of its own, allowing an attuned human mind to travel into it while their primary body slept. That way, knight Jake Sully became a spy in the Omatikaya kingdom. However, not long after, he realised the devastating effect of their magic and how it ultimately doomed everyone in Eywa’eveng to annihilation. Running away with other Na’vi sympathisers, he tamed the legendary Toruk, believed by most to be a divine guardian spirit of the great mother embodied by a fire-breathing apex predator, and rallied the clans against a growing empire, which, shortly after Jake’s escape, was overtaken by commander Quaritch in a military coup. The new king was insane, obsessed with power and revenge for Sully’s betrayal, but said madness ultimately lead to his defeat, as princess Neytiri of Omatikaya pierced him with her father’s arrows.
It was a new era of peace, and humans refusing to side with the Na’vi were told to leave Eywa’s lands.
Not everyone had such option though.
Story:
A boy with honey brown eyes and blonde curls was found in the abandoned Hell’s Gate castle after the great battle, allegedly the son of Miles Quaritch himself; and as no one dared to take him in, Mo’at made a decision that the child was to be kept in their kingdom, under Na’vi’s watchful eye.
Years passed and the Sully royal family grew, now having four children of their own! One, an adopted girl birthed by Grace Augustine’s avatar.
The human child meanwhile grew around plethora of workers around the village and was eventually taught the craft of caring for pali, the ikran, and the wild gardens. He grew into a crude, stubborn, but hard-working and gold-hearted stable boy, always eager to help, and spending every minute of his free time around the royal children who took an immense liking to him, and eventually saw him as a brother.
Although Spider, as he was now called for his affinity to climbing, never experienced parental love, he tried not dwelling on his circumstances and keep his head high…but it was never that simple.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As humans of the destroyed kingdom began returning, trying to rebuild as early as when Spider Socorro turned ten, a wild Toruk has been sighted in the fringes of Omatikaya territory. In the span of five years, said Toruk became a looming threat, as he was vicious and terrorised villages with a fury never before seen. Many whispered that it was the great mother’s wrath from seeing malicious sky people return to her lands.
In one of those attacks, at night, innocent farmers lost their lives to the fire-breathing dragon, and as princess Kiri ran to the stables the next morning to share tragic news with her brother…there was not a trace of him.
In fact, there was no trace of Spider in the entire castle. He vanished.
.
Meanwhile, the mad king has been revived, brought to life using previously discovered magic, and together with his most loyal undead men and women, whom he deemed jackals, got a task of upmost importance from the new queen herself; Francis Ardmore. She was a regal one, standing tall and proud despite her small height in comparison to the old ruiler, and promised him a high rank in the court if he does as told and stays loyal.
“I’m asking this because I don’t wish to offend you by underestimating your abilities…why do you trust me not to overthrow you the first chance I get, to take what is rightfully mine?”
“Because the cavern between the Na’vi and humans has never been wider, all thanks to what you’ve done to the Omatikaya kingdom, commander. Whatever influence you have left exist under my rule. If you want a chance at power again, a chance at trust from these people, you’ll need me.”
And so, with the promise of reward dangling over his head, Quaritch and his jackals set out on a journey towards the kingdom of ash to which only he knew the route, said to be inhabiting the most capable mages to have ever walked Eywa’eveng. The new empire will need a good alliance to thrive.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Barely a week into their journey, the squad got their hands on a curious catch. A boy with a mane of golden curls who snuck into their camp at night to steal some much needed food. Too bad that Zdinarsk had gotten the gift of foresight with her revival.
“And who might you be, little one?” Quaritch asked with a smirk.
“Spider…S-Socorro…” The teen responded, shaking, but determined.
The smirk slid off of king’s face. He couldn’t help but introduce himself, and inquired as to what an heir of his had forgotten in dangerous forest depths.
“I’m sick. I’m looking for a cure. Was told that there were mages in the south who knew a remedy to anything.” He mumbled.
“Well isn’t that a lucky coincidence? I think I know who you’re looking for. It’s the ash kingdom court mages, no?”
Spider gasped.
“I know my way to them.” He got down on one knee. “And I can lead you there, boy, but not without payback. Say, that jewellery on your neck is awfully familiar. You Omatikaya?”
The boy kept silent.
“I reckon you are, so how about this…” He smiled again. “You lead us to the mountain dragons; the banshee your people tame, and we give you a ride all the way to the mages.”
Spider had no choice as the king would never willingly let go of his newfound heir, but Miles wanted to present him with an illusion that would keep him docile.
“…alright.”
.
And so they travelled for what was undoubtedly the longest week of Spider’s life. The mad king he’s been told of, who ravaged the lands that were home to him, now walked side by side with the boy as if nothing happened. It angered him, how there seemed to have been no remorse on his end, and Socorro hated being angry. It made his chest burn.
Quaritch was not blind to the hate of course, but it was worth it. He never thought he’d have the boy with him again, and yet there he was; grown, sassy, bold, and with a smile so bright it could cure death itself.
Perhaps this journey was not for nothing after all.
.
Barely a second week in, the dam had burst. A minor inconvenience between father and son erupted into a loud argument over history, morals and convictions. Quaritch should have expected it. Should have known that a child of his, abandoned by their father, would bear a painful grudge. That the wound was deeper that the blonde originally let on with his constant quips, but he never could have expected what came after.
“I HATE you! YOU’RE A MONSTER!“ The boy roared, and jackals stepped away in growing caution, noticing as something in his chest glowed through the tunic.
The roars turned animalistic, agonising, feral. Noises neither a human nor Na’vi could muster.
Spider clawed at the ground as his own fury at Quaritch, at the recoms, at the humans, consumed him. Transformed him in a bright flash of fire.
“…kid..?..”
But there was no child at the clearing.
Only the Toruk; fire-breathing king of skies.
Wrath of Eywa personified.

Still losing my mind over how unintenionally funny (and easy to parody) Jake's "Who is this?" line is 😭😂
Tumblr media
Quaritch: "Jake Sully! You hear me, Corporal? I've got your kids! How you copy that?" 😠
Jake: "New phone, who dis?"
Quaritch: "..."
Quaritch: "It's ME! Quaritch! Your archnemesis!"
Jake: "Who??? You're breaking up, I can't hear you."
Quaritch: "It's me, dammit! Quaritch! THE MAIN VILLAIN OF THIS FRANSCHISE!"
Jake: "Rich who? Oh, man. This is one of those Nigerian prince scams, isn't it? Listen here, buddy, I 'aint got no rich uncles dying abroad and leaving me money, and I don't want any, K, thanks, bye."
Quaritch: "What—"
Jake, talking to Neytiri: "Babe, can you believe this? How did they get on Pandora anyway? Jesus Christ, scammers these days..." 🙄
Quaritch: "Wait—"

Child of Our Own - Tsu'tey x Omatikaya!Reader
summary: seeing his friends already awaiting their firstborns, tsu'tey begins to yearn for a baby of his own, but he is too shy to tell you about it
warnings: none really, soft and shy tsu'tey, hints at pregnancy, mentions of intercourse
wc: less than 1k
a/n: i'm officially in my tsu'tey worship era (this is your fault btw, @avatarbyamara) ik damn well that man only puts up his tough act in front of the others, but he would actually be a big softie with his mate
masterlist
Tumblr media
“I’m assuming the mission went well?” you smile, feeling Tsu’tey place another soft kiss on your temple.
His chest presses into your back, hands resting gently on your waist, while you’re occupied with peeling the fruits he likes. He was gone for only a few hours but was acting so needy, you start to wonder if anything happened.
“Tsu’tey,” you nudge him for an answer, but he only hums in response, now planting small kisses across your cheek and jaw.
“‘Was good,” he mutters, not wanting to bore you with the details.
“Were you safe?” you try to turn around to examine him, but Tsu’tey grunts, holding you in place.
“Just missed you.”
You guess that there’s something weighing on his mind, but you don’t push him. Tsu’tey often has moments, when all he wants to do is to hold you in his arms and listen to your soothing breathing. Eventually, he’ll give you a few hints about it anyway. So, you just pat his arm lightly and return to the task at hand.
Tsu'tey stands with you in silence for a while longer before finally speaking up.
“Neytiri is showing.”
“I know,” you nod, “It suits her.”
As you struggle to reach for another fruit from the basket, Tsu’tey huffs in annoyance and loosens his grip on you. He takes a step back, hating the distance between your bodies, but decides to allow you to finish your work in peace. You can feel his eyes fixed on you, observing every move you make.
“You’re very quiet today,” you turn around to face him, abandoning your task.
Tsu’tey only shakes his head, disagreeing to voice his concern. You rest your hand on his shoulder, gently pushing him down, until he gives in and kneels on the ground. You crouch down next to him, resting your hand on his thigh.
“Talk to me, tìyawn,” you murmur.
Tsu’tey gazes at your hand in silence. But when you lean in to kiss his cheek, he turns his head, catching your lips with his instead. It’s not long before he snakes his arms around your middle again and pulls your body onto his. You giggle, as he sits you down in his lap, enjoying the closeness between you two.
“Right now?” you quirk your eyebrow at him, knowing exactly where he is leading with this.
Tsu'tey's lips find their way to your neck, and you let out a soft sigh as his warm breath tickles your skin. You tilt your head to the side, giving him better access, and he trails a few more kisses before nuzzling his face into your neck.
“‘Aani said that Ti'ung is with a child too,” he whispers, catching your attention.
The two of you have mated before Eywa almost a year ago but Tsu'tey never pressured you into becoming a mother so soon. Just for a while, all he wanted was to have you all to himself. To enjoy restless nights with you without a worry of hurting you or having to share you with anybody else. The first few times you mated, you watched him struggle, as he was holding off the unbearable pleasure, before pulling his member out of you and releasing into his hand instead. Presumably, it became a thing he did every time, and you’ve grown so used to it, that you never once paid a second thought to it.
He was always so respectful and gentle with you, loving every bit of your body, every sound that would escape your lips. And despite his readiness to move into the next stage of your lives, Tsu'tey never allowed himself to impregnate you without earning your permission first. But what he failed to realize is that while you were trembling underneath him, reaching your orgasm, you were never able to think, let alone speak about wanting him to release inside of you.
“What are you hinting at, Tsu’tey?” you pull slightly back to look into his eyes.
“That it might be nice if, growing up, our child is surrounded by a few good kids,” he answers.
“Well, I’m sure Neytiri’s and Jake’s child is going to be just as good as they are,” you nod, agreeing, “And Aani’s and Ti'ung’s too.”
Tsu’tey hums, grateful that you finish his thoughts for him. That you know him so well, see him through and through. Being a man of a few words, he would often get irritated when others failed to understand his thoughts. But with you, it's different. All he cares about is that you see him for who he is, no one else.
“We need to catch up then, huh?” you grin.
Tsu’tey feels his chest swell with love by the way you look at him. So excited, so desperate to create a life with him. He pulls you in for a kiss, pouring all of his gratitude into it, as his hands reach for the ties of your loincloth. You don’t hesitate to reciprocate his desire, and soon the two of you become lost in each other.

❤️ Baby Mine
"...If they knew sweet little you They'd end up loving you too All those same people who scold you What they'd give just for the right to hold you..."
A little bit more of the Avatar AU. I've tarted a series following this short comic of Dilla and Caleb meeting baby Miles/Spider:
It did not take long for Dilla and Caleb to adopt Miles, they had fallen in love with the tiny baby immediately ❤️ They decided to keep the name Miles, to honor the choice of his late birth mother Paz Socorro.
Since the baby was too small for a breathing mask, Caleb and Dilla would at first take turns staying with him at the human facilities. Later Elyon, the head of the facility, arranges for a shack to be placed in the Omatikaya village so Dilla and Caleb can finally take their son home, and care for him there. As Miles grows up, the shack also serves as a resting space where he can take off his breathing mask, eat and sleep more comfortably e.t.c.
When Dilla gives birth to Kai the baby brothers create a bond right away, always snuggling together and crying when separated. Unfortunately at the start they must be separated often since Kai, like all Na'vi and avatars, cannot breathe in human spaces for an unlimited time, and he himself is too little for a mask. It breaks their parents hearts to keep them apart during this first times, but they still make sure they spend as much time as they can together.

More Headcanons of Avatar!Grace lives, has Kiri, adopts Spider, and runs to the Reef People with the Sullys:
Context: Lo'ak wants to court Tsireya
Spider: Yeah, cuz, get some!
Jake: No. Don't encourage him. Out of the question.
Grace rolls her eyes, "Come on, Jake, let Lo'ak court the sweet girl."
Jake: They're too young and shouldn't fall into a relationship so quickly. She's the chief's daughter.
"Oh? That's funny. I could have swore you and Neytiri only knew each other for a few months--"
Jake: Shut up.
Lo'ak: No, please don't, Auntie! I want to hear this.
Neteyam: Me, too, actually.
"If you wanna properly court someone, boys, DON'T listen to your father. That skxawng didn't even court Neytiri before they snuck away to mate before Eywa. She was promised to another and--"
Lo'ak: No way!
Neteyam: Father, how are you not dead?
"Now THAT is an excellent question!"
Jake: Grace...
"Just here to humble you, marine."

Chapter 2
Pairing: Neteyam Sully x female!curvy!human reader
Neteyam is aged up.
CW: lots of fluff, childhood friends to lovers, reader loves na'vi children so much and dreams about being a mom one day, angst, the whole Sully family loves reader (including Neteyam but she doesn't know that yet lol)
Author's note: as this is an Avatar AU, reader doesn't need a mask to breathe Pandora's air and not die. Maybe because she was born there, never left and was adopted by a na'vi woman since she was a really small child, she was gradually exposed to Pandora's environment and some kind of mutation happened, so she can breathe, because her body adapted to survive in the planet without the need of a technological device. Idk if it makes sense at all honestly, but, what the hell, fanfics are supposed to be fun and not make 100% of sense, so... just try to not think too much about it n enjoy ahaha
Chapter 1
"Oh my God, such a cute little thing you are" You said while squeezing Tuk in your arms. Even though she was bigger than you because she was a na'vi child after all, you held her like a human toddler. You loved her so much, as if she was your own child. And she loved you too. She was giggling so happily while you squeezed her tight. She was so fond of you that Neytiri would always leave you to take care of her when she left for a hunt. She trusted you, thought you were a really good kid. And you were known in the tribe for helping na'vi mothers with their children. From babies to pre-teens.
You thought Neytiri to be such a beautiful and wise na'vi woman. You desired to be like her one day. You also wanted to have a big beautiful family like hers but that thought would always soon turn from a happy one to one that filled you with angst and sorrow. You were just a human after all, left to the care of a sweet na'vi lady after your parents died in a battle against the Sky People when they came back to Pandora once again. Those horrible days are over now, thank Eywa. Your biology was so different from the na'vi that you didn't even know if it was possible for you to get pregnant from mating with a na'vi male. There are couples of a na'vi and a human out there but none of them ever tried to conceive a hybrid child. The closer someone got to it was the Sully kids who have na'vi and human blood running in their veins but their father had an Avatar body, not a human one, so, it's technically not the same. Why couldn't you just marry a human guy and have a human child?, you may ask. Well, you never knew how to say it without sounding weird but you never felt attracted to the males of your own species. They just looked so plain and boring next to the na'vi men, so passionate, family-oriented and fearless. And also, you couldn't deny that the way they towered over you and their blue skin that shone in the dark because of their freckles played a big part in your feelings too. Yeah, that will never not sound pervy.
You wished you could just mate with the na'vi you fell in love with, but you didn't even know if Neteyam would ever look at you that way. Your small, soft frame might look weird to him. Specially since you were really curvy and a bit fat even for human standards. But still, you dreamt about his big hands touching your skin and his blue beautiful lips kissing yours, so tenderly. Sometimes you woke up and cried, realizing it was indeed just a dream and you were alone laying in your mat.
The na'vi woman you learned to call "mom", Ao'ite, took you as if you had been born from her womb, she always showed you love and took great care of you. And even though she was a great mother to you and you loved her so very much, you never felt like it was enough. It pained you to say it because it sounded ungrateful and even cruel, but you always wondered what it would be like if your parents hadn't die. You didn't remember them, since you were only 2 years old when the murders happened, but you always thought that if they had raised you, maybe you would feel like you belonged somewhere. You loved Pandora and would always call it your one and only home, felt so connected to the trees, animals and oceans, but you would never be a na'vi girl. You could never tame and have your own Ikran or go through any important and beautiful thing only the na'vi can do. That crushed your heart.
You were so lost in your thoughts and immersed on Tuk's little laughs, in a mix of sweetness and sadness, that you didn't even notice how Neytiri's and Jake's older son was looking at you. Neteyam had a spark in his amber eyes when he looked at you holding his little sister. He thought you looked so beautiful and motherly when you played with her. He thought you'd be a great mother one day. He knew how much you wanted to have a family and he only wishes he could be your mate and give you little na'vi children. The smile that was adorning his lips died a bit and he looked away. He didn't know if you found him a suitable mate or if you were just disgusted by how different and odd he looked compared to humans. It hurt him to think maybe you could never reciprocate his feelings. He has loved you since you guys were little kids and he saw your - then weird to him - appearance. He was puzzled in the beginning but with only an hour playing together with you, running through the forest, just close enough so his grandma wouldn't lose sight of the two of you, he found his little heart beating fast inside his chest. And it wasn't just because he had been running, he realized. It was because he knew that you were the one he was gonna chose to be his mate, to spend the rest of his life with, no matter how different from him you looked. What confused him in the beginning was now the most beautiful sight to behold. And it never changed. 15 years later, when you're now both 20 and not 5 anymore, he still looked at you like you were the Pandora skies at night. So beautiful and enchanting to look at. He could look at you for hours, and sometimes he almost did, while you were sitting somewhere in the middle of the people, when they reunited to have meals together at night. You were close enough for him to be able to look at you but far enough for him to not be noticed and perceived as a creep to you.
One day Jake sat next to his elder son and realized who he was looking at. He told his son you were a great girl and he should try courting you if he liked you. Neteyam was shy in the beginning and even denied he was looking at you but his dad knew him far too well so, seconds after that, Neteyam sighed and told his father that he truly loved you and wanted you to be his mate. Jake smiled. That reminded him of what he felt when he was being taught the na'vi ways by Neytiri and fell in love with her. He was immeasurably happy when he realized she loved him too. He just wants his son to be happy and he was glad he had chosen you. Jake always felt something good coming from you. You were like him when he was still stuck in his human body: you loved the na'vi ways more than the human ways and wanted to be one of them. He just wishes it wasn't so dangerous for you to be transfered to an Avatar body. You had once told him you would try, just so you could feel like you were one of the people. But in Jake's heart you were and would always be one of them, even if you were a tiny human girl. And he knew most na'vi felt the same about you. You were really loved by the people.
Neteyam looked at you again, as you were holding his little sister's hands and she was asking you to let her braid your hair. You smiled and said yes and she smiled even wider and started touching your hair. You had beautiful, soft hair and it would always end up a bit entangled when Tuk would braid it. She was a child and was still learning so her braiding skills were still not on point. But you didn't care. You always let her braid your hair and would sit patiently while she did. And you would wear the braids she would make for days, even if they looked a bit funny. It was so special to you how that precious na'vi child showed so much love towards you. Such an innocent little soul. You wished so hard that one day you could have your own na'vi child braiding your hair. Na'vi babies were the cutest thing you had ever seen. Even though you would look enormous carrying a na'vi baby in your belly (if that could ever happen, in your wildest dreams) and you probably would feel so heavy and bloated, you just knew without a shadow of doubt that you would love that child more than you loved your own life and die for the little being if you needed to. To protect them from any harm.
Little did you know you had a na'vi in front you willing to give you as many na'vi babies as you'd let him. Neteyam loved you so much it hurt. And little did he know you loved him too. And little did you both know that having a hybrid child was actually possible.

Sooo... it's my first fanfic in English and it's not my first language so please be gentle with me and forgive me for any mistakes. This story is gonna have more parts written soon. I'm thinking of writing some smut within the story and maybe put some breeding kink coming from Neteyam and his human loving it. What do you guys think? Would you want me to? Tell me in the comments haha Please, like and/or reblog this post if you like it. Love you guys 💙
