The amount of misinformation on this app is insane, someone really just tried to say that a literal deity (Asmodeus of all of them), hates religon and doesn't want people to worship him. Not only is this just plain false, but this is a narrative commonly used by people who are trying to divert people away from their faith.

Misinformation and fear mongering are the two most common tactics used by religious extremists to push people out of their faith and into cults, or worse. Please keep an eye out for these people and block and report them. This was an obvious example of someone lieing and making up stories for their own gain, but not all are so overt. Please take the information that you see from strangers on the internet with a grain of salt, especially when it comes to any if the denizens of Hell hating religionas a whole (I'm sorry this is truely just so stupid. In every description of Asmodeus with his followers, hes sweet and excited. Tell me you've never conversed with any of the denizens of Hell without telling me.) I encourage everyone to do their own research into these topics and come to their own conclusions, I have also listed resources more than once so that way there's backing to my claims.

I don't need to name a book to say that Asmodeus doesn't hate you for worshipping him, Hell, he's probably ecstatic. The assertion that he hates ALL religion and all people who adhere to any religion is completely asinine.

Please don't stop worshipping Asmodeus because the under educated demand it.

In terms of how I could’ve predicted my worship would go…demons were not on the list. Like at all. And yet King Asmodeus showed up, *intensely*. I had no idea who it even was. His energy gave me a headache. It was like he was screaming at me until I acknowledged him. That was a fun period of time trying to figure out who needed my attention so bad while I had a headache. I actually really like him now that the initial frustration of the meeting passed. I’m just lost as to why these intense entities keep seeking me out. 😅😭

It's up to YOU

For those of us that are newer on the left hand path, especially those of us that come from judeo-christian abrahamic belief systems, it's important to remember that this new belief system is very different from what we're used to.

We don't worship a deity that requires blind obedience and suffering. We don't worship a deity that requires blind Faith. We do worship in a deity that requires self-reliance. We worship a deity that requires personal responsibility.

For all our lives we have been told and taught that the negative aspects of ourselves: the negative aspects of our lives can all be blamed on external forces. In reality there are just times when shit happens. There are also times when we are our own worst enemies. We create the mess. We create the bullshit.

And for the first time in our lives we are faced with the reality that it is 100% our own doing. It's not a curse, it's not the devil, it's not some outside force that is creating havoc in your life. You are doing it. And some of it is unconsciously self created because we are so used to being in a state of upheaval and chaos.

There's also no savior. No one to rescue you. No one to reach down from the heavens above and give you your heart's desire. No one gives a shit.

By the same token, when things go well. When you receive unexpected blessings. When forces move in your favor. It is also you. It is not the act of some benefic God that seeks to bless you. It is your own doing.

It is up to you. It is up to you to create the life that you want. It is up to you to accept responsibility for your failures and fix them.

The role of the deity I work with in the spirits I use in my day-to-day life has been the realization of my own personal power. The realization that I am in charge of my own destiny. The realization that I have the ability to set a course for my future that I want to have the future that I want is in my control and no one else's.

The search for wisdom and understanding and power comes with the realization of our own divinity. It is internal not external. And only a follower of this path will understand how rooted and grounded this belief system is. Rooted in reality. Rooted in nature. Rooted in universal law. It is not pie in the sky. It is not some fanciful belief, but rooted in common sense rooted in self-reliance. That is not to say that these forces do not provide strength, downloads, input, direction,.. it is not to say that there are no magical moments. There definitely are. But those moments come from our own doing. From our own working..

The good and the bad are all under your control. So today is the day to own your future to own your reality to own your destiny.

today i was feeling particularly sad, so i grabbed my tarots and started talking to lord hypnos and lord eros, they comforted me and other deities that i work with got in the conversation too as i was talking, we all ended up listening to music together while they were comforting me, i felt sooo much better, i can’t thank them enough for this, love them with all my heart <3

now more than ever i think i need to keep 'alternate universe in which i am unfazed by the men who do not love me' close to my heart. i mean fuck. why do i require the validation of a man thinking im cool, or hot, or funny, or smart? what broke so early on that i cannot even find the broken piece, the missing cog. why am i terrified of showing teeth when all i do is sharpen them? 39 year old men who are so fucking desperate for validation they seek it from me, barely in college, fresh off a gap year and the horrors of high school, and yet i am their little fucking token of wisdom? im dealing with the most immature interpersonal bullshit and yet! yet he tosses on his own selfimposed issues, his assholish tendencies, and begs me to give my honesty. what honesty could he ever want? nothing i can truthfully say. he will not enjoy my advice, which will consist of me insisting he get help, any help, that is not over a decade and a half younger than him. he will not enjoy my forced-sympathy, filled with loathing and spit and poison. he will not enjoy anything i have. i do not want him near me. i do not value his time nor his mind nor his attention. i crave only an alternate universe where i bare my fucking teeth. why am i terrified of showing teeth when all i do is sharpen them?
