How to get free ebooks:

I just recently found this website (( b-ok.cc )) that holds free ebooks that are free to download. You don’t need an account, but it is free to sign up.

If you don’t make an account, as a ‘guest’ you can download 5 books every 24 hours. If you sign up and make an account, you can download 10 books every 24 hours.

I would recommend downloading 5 as a guest first and THEN creating an account once it tells you you’ve run out of downloads for the day to get that 10 for the day. This gives you 15 downloads total without paying any money AT ALL.

I’m not sure about on desktop or on androids, but on iPhone if you have the Books app you can download it there (I think you can also download it onto the kindle app too??).

To achieve this, when you click the download button under the book’s title, it’ll start downloading. Once it’s finished, the banner at the bottom of the screen that showed it downloading will now say “open in...”. Click on that and it’ll show you apps you can open it in or you could even send it to someone. It might not automatically have the Books app pop up, so in this case click the ‘more’ button and scroll down your list of apps until you see ‘Copy to Books’ or something along those lines. Click that and it’ll automatically open your Books app and pull up your ebook!

Also the website says your daily download allowance is per IP so maybe if you change your IP or if you have a VPN you could get even more? I haven’t tested that out so someone will have to tell me how that goes, but if you still want more than your allowed downloads don’t worry!

You can donate any amount of money to the website and become a premium member. Which, depending on the contribution, they can download up to 999 books daily. I’m not sure if they mean for that one contribution you can get additional or if the contribution is a one-time thing and you get to keep your increased daily downloads.

But this is a really great website because they have all kinds of books with different categories, key words, genres, and if you create an account you can get personalized recommendations based off what you download. And if you want to download something but are out of daily downloads, you can just save to your ‘read later’ list and add tags to each book you save!

I downloaded 15 books on witchy subjects last night (I’m doing baby witch research currently) and have already saved many for later with those neato tags. Hope this is helpful!
