ok so essentially i am super interested in court proceedings and i have many thoughts abt the (horribly inaccurate) legal shit in shameless. ian was sentenced to 2 years, for arson i assume?? and seeing as hes mentally ill and was unmedicated at the time of the crime, he has a pretty good case to get his record sealed! no i dont think he cant get it expunged, and yes it would still show up on a background check by employers. and doing more research since i sent you that ask, theres like a .00001% chance that ian could be a volunteer firefighter even with a sealed record. fuck you ian for committing a felony youre lucky the shamey writers were too lazy to research that you shouldve been charged and found guilty of a class X felony with a minimum of 6 years in prison

BUT I DONT CAREEEE I WANT IAN TO FIND A WAY TO HELP OTHERS AND GIVE BACK TO HIS COMMUNITY!!!! HE JUST LOVES HELPING PEOPLE SOOOOO MUCH!!!

i want him to go to schools and show kids how the oxygen mask works and complain about how much the firehose weighs and race kids in the outdoor obstacle course in his full gear for fire safety day at the local elementary school. i dont CARE how unrealistic it is i NEED IT. he tasks himself with collecting the students' thank you cards and pinning them to the huge bulletin board back at the station

no im not thinking about his strong muscles as he carries people out of fire or him coming home to mickey covered and sweat and soot. thats gay i would NEVER imagine that 🤨🤨

BUT trying to stay as realistic as possible he could volunteer to lifeguard at the pool ("wdym this apartment complex lets unaccompanied minors in the pool without supervision!! i dont care that living here means signing a waver that makes the complex legally not responsible for accidents in the pool SOMEBODY COULD DIE!!!!") and give swimming lessons to the kids. i love lifeguard!ian too 🥺🥺🥺 him and his silly baywatch red shorts and absurd amount of mineral sunscreen and sunglasses he stole from mickey. hes my dad!!!

How did you get into the fandom? I developed an obsession with Shameless and Gallavich specifically and remembered Tumblr from my old Teen Wolf days so I made a new account and just made myself known until people noticed.

How long have you been here? A little over a year!

Which tumblerinos did you have your first fandom crush(es) on and wanted to get to know? I remember the first time I was tagged in one of @heymacy's tag games and that's when I really felt like I made it.

First Gallavich fan fic you read (or that blew you away that you remember)? I think it was either Cooperative Gameplay or Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.

First fan art that blew your mind? Okay I'm so sorry but I didn't start tagging fanart until like a week ago so I'm not sure but I'm sending so much love to every artist. 🫶🏻

Fanfic trope that you were sure wasn’t for you but now you low key (or high key) love? I never thought I'd be an angst girly but you all know me 💁🏼‍♀️ (I don’t care if that’s not a trope, it’s a tag and that’s good enough for me).

What surprised you most about this fandom? How welcoming everyone is! Not that my Teen Wolf fandom was bad, there's just a very different vibe here. I'm also constantly blown away by the talent in this fandom.

Moment in the show (or YT vids if you’re one of those) that you fell in hyperfixation with Gallavich? Okay so I think most of you know this but I watched the first 2.5 seasons in 2014 then repented and didn't watch the show again until last year so I don't even really know when the craze began for me? Also my (re)watch was inspired by a friend who livetweeted the whole thing so I kind of already knew I was a little obsessed with them? So I'm so sorry but I literally cannot pinpoint a moment. 🫣

Ian or Mickey? Okay you know what, my answer to this has always been Mickey BUT I've been inspired to try to force myself to get through The Dark Ages on my next rewatch and I'm paying very close attention to Ian.

Which Gallagher or Milkovich are you? I just took a quiz and it said Fiona which is the kindest thing anyone's ever said to me. I was thinking Debbie or Ian.

What kind of day is it? I was home sick from work, so not a particularly great one.

When was the last time you ate? Like 7 hours ago. Around lunch time. I have zero appetite currently.

About how many hours of sleep did you get? I went to bed at 11pm and was up for the day around 5:30am. So 6.5 hours in theory, but my youngest is teething some morals so he was up several times throughout the night.

Name one thing you could do to make your day better right now: take some NyQuil and pass the fuck out.

Why are you not doing that thing? I’m filling out this tag game instead. 😂

What are you going to do tonight to relax? Probably read as much of Bridge of Sighs as I can before the NyQuil takes hold!

What comfort food do you not eat often enough? Poutine. 🤤

What’s stopping you? Here’s the thing with poutine (in my opinion - fellow Canadians don’t come for me. Lol) There is no such thing as ‘okay’ poutine. It’s either incredibly or awful - there is no middle ground. And making good poutine at home is actually very difficult. It’s hard to get the fries right without a deep fryer and fresh cheese curds are hella expensive right now. It’s just not worth the time and effort. And I’m not paid enough to eat out every time I crave poutine. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Have you ever had a professional massage? Oh yes! You better believe I use up every last dollar on my health insurance plan each year.

Have you eaten fruits and vegetables today? Nope, but I’ve also only eaten half a bagel today so…

How much water have you had today? More than usual. Haven’t been keeping track though.

It’s insanely hard right now and yeah sure, breaking down in sobs was not how you wanted your kids to see you this morning. location:  next to my cat who is sleeping like he hasn’t been a complete menace all damn morning. 

top sheet, yes or no? (I'm assuming by top sheet it means the sheet over the ones that wrap your bed that separates your body from your comforter/duvet, which maybe not everyone uses) and yes, especially in this heat, sometimes that is the only thing I have on me because it’s too warm (but I hate not having something heavier on me)

how many stuffed animals do you own? I have two that I can think of off the top of my head. Used to have several. 

the names of your pets (and the explanations behind them): I only have one cat! And I'm sorry, as I am a paranoid individual (though there are people on discord who know his name, and I know there's other pets with this name, and I give out other information I know) but I'm not going to put it here. I will say I named him what I named him because he's all angles, he's very small for a cat, and loves jumping on me.

favourite color: I gravitate toward the color green a lot. I just adore it in all shades. 

any tattoos? Yes! 

how you transport your belongings (purse, tote, hands, pockets, etc.): If it’s just like me out and about? My pockets usually, I don’t like having anything hanging off of me like a bag if I can help me because it’s distracting to walk very far with shit flipping around. If it's for work/going somewhere with stuff that cannot fit in pockets, then I have a corduroy satchel with a bunch of buttons on it.

the last movie you watched: Shrek! I was feeling nostalgic.

how long does it take you to get ready in the morning? If I take a shower? Around an hour (I have curly hair, it’s kind of a bitch to make look nice because I’m bad at that kind of thing, that and winding down my cat who wants to play so badly it’s like he was fueled with jet fuel). If I don’t take a shower and let the cat figure out his own playtime? 20 minutes, usually with a breakfast on the go situation (and leaving my cat to mourn that I did not play with him). 

favourite weather: I love a good thunderstorm when I'm able to hang out at home and watch. Or a good snowstorm. For general getting around though, low 70s or low 80s with a breeze.

relationship status: single

ice cream flavor of choice: mint chocolate chip or something peanut buttery. Which I know are two chaotic differences, but it’s just my style. 

first fandom: Fandom where I’d be aware of what a fandom was? Probably Dr. Who? (I swear I answer this question differently every time I’m asked lol). 

how many books have you read this year? Think I’m at seven? I don’t read nearly as much as I used to but I’m starting to pick it up again. 

first 4 words of your last notes app entry:  “Right out the elevator”, believe that was instructions to myself on how to navigate some building I’ve long forgotten why I was confused about. 

and finally, if you had to change your URL tomorrow, what would you change it to? If I had to? Probably something equally sort of pretentious as crestfaller, something like coppermarsh or cruisinghearse (which damn I actually love that one lmao) but I came up with crestfaller by looking into a mountain range’s peaks and valleys, finding a name that sounded interesting, and grabbing the synonyms and mixing them together until I liked it. I have adopted the name crest on all things though now, I don’t know what I’d have people call me if I changed my name now.
