Maybe I’m a bit of a legal nerd but would ppl be interested in me taking various life series “crimes” (aka just canon typical violence and drama) and turning them into little court cases? Both criminal and civil, following (roughly, to the best of my ability) the American judiciary system.
Basically I’d just be outlining the facts of the case, the plaintiff/prosecution, the defense, the various arguments, evidence (for interest I’m not going to use just the videos, it would be like, the weapon, ect. Destruction of evidence would be FREQUENT), interesting trial moments, the holding, ect.
My ideas:

I'm sitting in my art class. My whole table is debating the dick size of corrupt Zamasu from dragon ball. My friend Zathaneil *he chose that name not me* is attempting to do the math for his dick size. The whole table got into it. But they can't figure out if you would multiple or divide to get the answer.

What do you guys think the answer is?

Trump’s AWFUL Cabinet Meeting IMPLODES on LIVE TV The numbers are not matching up to your predictions, we are not stupid, we know this is nowhere near the $2T promised, We know that China isn’t even SENDING the cargo ships, they aren’t turning around. You’re not taking accountability for your screwups. You tried to take credit for what was going on BEFORE you were even in office. RFK is making less sense than ever. All lies.

Google, what happened to you?
Edit: if Google was smart, they would keep metrics on people taking screenshots of queries. They control Android and Chrome, it's completely doable for them
Edit: I was trying to look up liters to gallons

If MXTX's character's heights were real
The rest of the post is an unloading of all the fun I've had playing with the heights of most of the male adult characters from MXTX's novels. If you ever want to compare the heights of different male characters or pretend the novels don't exist in a magic-everyone-is-handsome-but-only-one-gay-relationship-can-exist-per-world alternate reality, this is your post.
I assume the average height of 19-year-old Chinese youths is 175.7 cm and the standard deviation is 6.5 cm (as of 2020, which was 3 years ago as of this post)
I referenced the Global Times article: "Average height of Chinese men sees the biggest rise of nearly 9 cm over 35 years: report" and a random height-percentile-in-different-countries website as it is literally impossible to find data on the standard deviation of height??
The inches and feet versions are at the end of the post, along with a comparison of a few of the heights
It all started with this chart by @jinxednoodle, which happens to be the first image if you google MXTX heights:

Free data? don't mind if I do…
I finished with 3 final calculated columns
Equal Rarity
This column compares the characters' heights to one another by putting them in the context of the real-world equivalent height. Essentially, if you assume the distribution of heights is normal in MXTX-land and our sample accurately represents those heights (Neither is true, which is why this is Bad Math), being [character's name here]'s height in MXTX-land is as common as being ____ cm tall among a group of 19-year-old Chinese guys.
Perfect evidence that JGY is short
I divided each O.G. height by the average (~184.97) and standard deviation (the average difference between each number and the average) (5.05) of the O.G. heights, which gave me their z-scores (the number of standard deviations a number is from the average). I de-Z-scorified them by multiplying by 6.5 (the new STD) and adding 175.7 (the new average).
2. Scaled Down
This column just drags them small so they aren't giants compared to the rest of us
I divided the O.G. heights by their average (~184.97) and then multiplied by the 19CM average (175.7)
F.D. (Fixed Distribution) Heights
My personal favorite because it was the hardest to get right and my end goal all along. Heights are normally distributed, meaning if you mark all the heights along the horizontal axis and all the people with that height on the vertical, you should get a shape like the one below, with the exact average height in the exact middle, shorter people to the left, and taller to the right. I wasn't satisfied with only the average and standard deviation of my calculated samples matching real life, I wanted the distribution to match too
Below is the histogram of the O.G. heights. oof. Not the worst, because it only has one "hump" (one mode) and does have few extremely short people and few extremely tall people, but the shortest people have heights way further to the left of the mode than the tallest people's heights to the right of it. The data is heavily left-skewed. I think MXTX likes tall characters but cuts herself off at 191 cm (6'3.2") because any further is too tall to suspend disbelief.
I use an awful, unnecessarily complicated method after a few even worse attempts and split a normal distribution into 33 parts of equal area, then found the weighted average z-score of each section. I de-Z-scorified them by multiplying by 6.5 (the new STD) and adding 175.7 (the new average), producing the F.D. Heights column and this histogram:
I cannot tell you how many attempts I made before getting here. But my work was not done. Instead of starting with the O.G. heights, I had worked backward and needed to match my predetermined list of possible heights to the names. The order of who was at what height on my list was simple:
O.G. height was my first reference, but lots of characters are the same height. Their position in these "height blocks" was decided based on their appearance according to fandom.com. Anyone described as tall or strong-looking is put at the top and anyone delicate or synonymous is put near the bottom of the height block. Any additional selection was down by personal preference, which is why Yin Yu is exactly average (very evil of me), Mu Qing and Feng Xin are neighbors in height (to fuel the rivalry) and Yue Qingyuan is the tallest of his block (Big Bro vibes).
I didn't do the female heights because there were too few to make a good sample.
In Inches and Feet:
Example height differences, including an average 19-year-old female:

okay, so, i’m not the best at math, but here’s the story:
my dad lives with his girlfriend, just the two of them. sometimes i stay with them for a few weeks at a time. every time i stay with them, my dad complains that i must guzzle creamer out of the bottle because they run out very quickly. now, i’m no mathematician but, if a third person is added to a two person household, would not all things (particularly food items) be used 50% more than before? maybe i’m stupid but this is how it works in my mind:

correct me if i’m wrong, but is this not how math works? obviously there are uncontrolled variables here like whether or not someone drinks more coffee than someone else and how much creamer they add, but i can safely say that we all drink roughly the same amount of coffee. i don’t even like mine all the sweet and neither do they, so this rough estimate is at least fairly accurate (i think). am i going crazy? i feel like i’m going crazy. every time i bring this up to my dad he just grumbles about it before saying “i suppose” or “i guess” before starting the same argument the next time i come back.

Axios: Trump tariffs based on massive error, conservative think tank says

Most of what we import is because we don't have a solid manufacturing base here anymore. Although jobs were added under Biden-Harris, that investment doesn't seem to be part of Trumpomusk's plan since a lot of the money allocated to projects like that were cancelled.
So we still need to import what we don't have and/or can't make ourselves (whether we need it or not is up for discussion I guess).
In regards to the tariffs themselves:
I want to speak to the horrible math used to calculate Trump's "Reciprocal Tariffs" as it doesn't make any logical sense. It doesn't measure the country's tariffs on US, nor does it measure non-tariffs, nor does it measure anything related to tariffs. They're assuming a trade deficit = tariffs, which doesn't make sense logically. Trade deficit is simply someone selling more to us than we sell to them. Anyway, let's take a closer look:
Above is the formula Trumpomusk's Administration claims they used to determine the "percentage of tariffs." The 4 is what they assigned the "how sensitive customers are to higher prices" and 0.25 assigned to "how likely prices are to increase." Why they chose those numbers isn't explained in the text, so they seem to be arbitrarily chosen.
Next, the m stands for Total US imports and x stands for total export to US. 4 * 0.25 = 1. So that can help us simplify the formula. Take that out since 1 * m = m. x - m = trade deficit. Total exports to US minus Total US imports is just the definition of a trade deficit. So let's simplify further: ( Trade deficit in dollars / by Total US imports in dollars ) * 100% = Percentage-that-is-not-a-tariff So this calculation is just giving us a percentage of how much goods are sold to us versus what we sell to them. Which is not a tariff. Not even on the same planet as a tariff.
Before I get to the actual reciprocal tariff calculation, let's briefly speak to trade deficit and what a tariff actually is. A trade deficit isn't necessary a bad thing. Just because a country may sell more to us than we sell to them doesn't mean they are "cheating us." Nor does it mean that difference is a "tariff." They simply may be producing products we do not produce ourselves, and thus we buy their products. Hence the trade.
A tariff is a list of fees/taxes applied to a country's sale of the goods. So when China sells the laptop to US, a tariff would be part of the taxes/fees included in the sale price. However, that was not at all what they calculated. Nothing in their formula even remotely references fees/taxes applied to the sale.
Instead, they assumed "trade deficit = tariff" which is false. I'm not even sure the administration knows what 'tariff' actually means. So how did Trumpomusk calculate the "reciprocal tariffs?" Per the documents they put out on the White House pages: Trumpomusk's "Reciprocal tariff" = Percentage-that-is-not-a-tariff / 2. So yeah. A few economists found that all the 10% reciprocal tariffs? Those were countries where America had a trade surplus with, meaning we sold more to them than what they sold to us. Despite there being no trade deficit, they got a tariff slapped on them anyway. Way to punish those who buy more of our stuff. Yikes. A video that breaks it down very nicely: https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.6711188
here's the thing about the fucking tariffs. besides Unfairly Punishing Our FUCKING ALLIES YOU MORON- okay okay. anyway. the other thing
the other thing is that we have no manufacturing here
most of the fabric I buy to make my clothes is made overseas. I would actually love to buy wool from a local, unionized woolen mill! I'd be pleased as punch to do that! it's better for the environment and creates good local jobs that don't have a barrier of entry re: college degrees, which we need more of!
except we don't have any more fucking woolen mills because your billionaire ilk outsourved all of them to avoid union rules, OSHA, and paying minimum wage, when those things became commonplace and/or law. you orange fuckface
"buy American instead!!!" okay FROM FUCKING WHERE. we don't MAKE shit here anymore. and the few remaining local producers have been forced to charge exorbitant prices because they're competing with cheap unethical labor practices from big companies, so most people can't afford to buy local
god it's all so fucking stupid and I have to suffer for other people's idiocy that I actively tried to prevent
