68-KING BELIAL
Enn:Lirach tasa vefa wehlc Belial
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Other names:Belias, Baalial, Balial, Belhor, Beliall, Beliar, Berial, Bylyl, Beliya'al.
The Sixty-eighth Spirit is King Belial. He appears in the form of two beautiful angels sitting in a chariot of fire. He speaks with a comely voice, and declares that he fell first from among the worthier sort, that were before michael, and other heavenly angels. In the Dukante Hierarchy, Belial is seen as the representative force of earth. In this aspect, he is the destructive earth force. Evoking this aspect is good for execration and necromancy, and business endeavors that require aggressive measures. He distributes presentations and senatorships, etc.; and to cause favour of friends and of foes. He gives excellent familiars, and note well that this King Belial must have offerings, sacrifices and gifts presented unto him by the practitioner, or else he will not give true answers. He governs 50 Legions of Spirits.
Call upon King Belial for
⬩Baneful work
⬩Buisness endeavors
⬩Familiars
⬩Favor among friends and enemies
⬩Necromancy
⬩Political promotions
⬩Ask him what else he will work with you on⬩
⊱•━━━━━━⊰In Ritual⊱━━━━━•⊰
Enn:Lirach tasa vefa wehlc Belial
Sigil:Posted above
Plant:Mullein
Incense:Frankincense, Myrrh
⬩Yellow candles or objects
⬩Ask King Belial what he likes⬩
⬩It is important to learn protections before trying to work with any spirits. You can get tricksters and parasites if you don't.
Cleansings- cleaning your space of negative energies. You can burn herbs or incense for this.
Banishings- forcing negative energies out of your space. The lesser banishing ritual is one of the most commonly used.
Warding- wards keep negative energy out of your space. Amulets, sigils and talismans do this.
Set up a your space and do a cleanse and banishing. Have wards up in your home. Meditation is to calm yourself and get your mind ready. The sigil (symbol) is what you draw on paper. The enn is what you chant or say to call forth the spirit.⬩

Heavens' Paradise Lost: Their biblical counterparts part 1
Not a lot of people know this from me, but I was raised as a Christian girl, nowadays I still believe in God, but I'm not used to do more stuff on the religion since I actually got more intereses and I grew up over time.
Heavens' Paradise Lost has given me a lot to think from them as it was my first ever Utapri drama cd I saw and to say it impacted me is just saying something, so to share my knowledge about some of the angel stuff I have received (read as: I just went to wikipedia for their names) I wanted to share the biblical counterparts/namesakes for the Heaven characters here as a summary
Beside You can be found here
Lucifer
Tumblr media
Lucifer is the Latin name for the morning appearances of the planet Venus. It corresponds to the Greek names Phosphorus Φωσφόρος, "light-bringer", and Eosphorus Ἑωσφόρος, "dawn-bringer". The entity's Latin name was subsequently absorbed into Christianity as a name for the devil. Modern scholarship generally translates the term in the relevant Bible passage (Isaiah 14:12), where the Greek Septuagint reads ὁ ἑωσφόρος ὁ πρωὶ, as "morning star" or "shining one" rather than as a proper noun, Lucifer, as found in the Latin Vulgate. The word "Lucifer" appears in The Second Epistle of Peter (2 Peter 1:19) in the Latin Vulgate to refer to Jesus. The word "Lucifer" is also used in the Latin version of Exsultet, the Easter proclamation.
The metaphor of the morning star that Isaiah 14:12 applied to a king of Babylon gave rise to the general use of the Latin word for "morning star", capitalized, as the original name of the devil before his fall from grace, linking Isaiah 14:12 with Luke 10 ("I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven") and interpreting the passage in Isaiah as an allegory of Satan's fall from heaven.
Considering pride as a major sin peaking in self-deification, Lucifer (Hêlêl) became the template for the devil. As a result, Lucifer was identified with the devil in Christianity and in Christian popular literature, as in Dante Alighieri's Inferno, Joost van den Vondel's Lucifer, and John Milton's Paradise Lost. Early medieval Christianity fairly distinguished between Lucifer and Satan. While Lucifer, as the devil, is fixated in hell, Satan executes the desires of Lucifer as his vassal.
Lucifer is regarded within the Latter Day Saint movement as the pre-mortal name of the devil. Mormon theology teaches that in a heavenly council, Lucifer rebelled against the plan of God the Father and was subsequently cast out. The Doctrine and Covenants reads:
"And this we saw also, and bear record, that an angel of God who was in authority in the presence of God, who rebelled against the Only Begotten Son whom the Father loved and who was in the bosom of the Father, was thrust down from the presence of God and the Son, and was called Perdition, for the heavens wept over him—he was Lucifer, a son of the morning. And we beheld, and lo, he is fallen! is fallen, even a son of the morning! And while we were yet in the Spirit, the Lord commanded us that we should write the vision; for we beheld Satan, that old serpent, even the devil, who rebelled against God, and sought to take the kingdom of our God and his Christ—Wherefore, he maketh war with the saints of God, and encompasseth them round about."
—Doctrine and Covenants 76:25–29
Belial
Tumblr media
Belial is a term occurring in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament which later became personified as the devil in Christian texts of the New Testament. Alternate spellings include Baalial, Balial, Belhor, Beliall, Beliar, Berial, Bylyl and Beliya'al. In the Secret Book of John, an early Gnostic text, the ruler of the underworld is referred to as Belias.
Belial is a Hebrew word "used to characterize the wicked or worthless". The etymology of the word is often understood as "lacking worth", from two common words: beli- (בְּלִי "without-") and ya'al (יָעַל "to be of value").Some scholars translate it from Hebrew as "worthless" (Beli yo'il), while others translate it as "yokeless" (Beli ol), "may he have no rising" or "never to rise" (Beli ya'al). Only a few etymologists have believed it to be an invented name from the start.
The Jewish Greek Septuagint, later the Old Testament of the early Christian church, generally renders the "sons of Belial" verses in the Hebrew Bible either as "lawless men", by idioms "sons of the pestilence", rather than a personal name "sons of Belial"
Azazel
Tumblr media
In the Hebrew Bible, the name Azazel represents a desolate place where a scapegoat bearing the sins of the Jews was sent during Yom Kippur. During the late Second Temple period, Azazel came to be viewed as a fallen angel responsible for introducing humans to forbidden knowledge, as described in the Book of Enoch. His role as a fallen angel partly remains in Christian and Islamic traditions.
In older English versions, such as the King James Version, the phrase la-azazel is translated as "as a scapegoat"; however, in most modern English Bible translations, it is represented as a name in the text:
"Aaron shall offer the bull as a sin offering for himself, and shall make atonement for himself and for his house. He shall take the two goats and set them before the Lord at the entrance of the tent of meeting; and Aaron shall cast lots on the two goats, one lot for the Lord and the other lot for Azazel. Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot fell for the Lord, and offer it as a sin offering; but the goat on which the lot fell for Azazel shall be presented alive before the Lord to make atonement over it, that it may be sent away into the wilderness to Azazel." - Leviticus 16:6–10

Diavolo's Cousin from Hell - Lesson 4 (Obey Me! x Female!MC/Reader)
@strawberry-moonpies Hello! It's been a while, hasn't it? I decided to take a one-week break to prepare for my test and go on a weekend vacation with the fam. It's been a while since I wrote anything, so I might be a wee bit rusty. Hopefully you'll enjoy this chapter. Cheers!
(Btw, I can't help but chuckle when I read the dialogues for the current event "Sacrifices of Darkness". They remind me so much of Balial.)
Interested to join the tag list? Drop me a DM! I write Obey Me! fanfiction for now.
Other work: A Lil' Oopsie
Diavolo's Cousin from Hell mini-series:
Prologue | Lesson 1 | Lesson 2 | Lesson 3 | Lesson 4 | Lesson 5 | Lesson 6
He didn't exactly know how long it took, but Beelzebub was certain that this was the first time he'd seen his own twin with such fury and stubbornness that could rival that of one of their elder brothers.
The Avatar of Gluttony remembered sitting inside his room enjoying a bag of Hell Cream Cat Tongue Cookies that he purchased from Madam Scream's when, all of a sudden, in came the youngest demon brother scowling. Surely it was without a doubt for him to ask what irritated him, and then have Belphegor open up to him. But never in his life had he seen the latter sharply mutter "Nothing" before sprawling on his bed.
Finally, after what seemed like eons, he got an answer - Balial.
Ah, yes. It's no surprise that this young demon Prince had the ability to irk the Demon Lords so effortlessly. All he ever did was cynically critique everything they did. From how they dressed up for school to the way they ate, their articulation, their involvement in the Student Council, their punctuality; nothing, and no one, was spared. Not even the eldest brother.
But now, not only did they have to deal with his nitpickiness, he'd imposingly invited himself over to their house; as if it wasn't making it any worse for them. Well, it's partially thanks to MC, but it would be merely hypocritical for any one of the demon brothers to pinpoint his sudden fascination with the human exchange student when they, too, were just as fond of her.
The only difference was that the Prince of the Underworld took an instant liking to her and didn't attempt to eradicate her; like them at the beginning.
"Just ignore him," advised Beelzebub. "He'll be here for two weeks only, right? After that, we won't have to face him anymore."
"But that feels like such a long time," the younger twin whined. Encountering the vile, little gremlin was torture enough.
"I think by now, we know what his personality is like. I understand how you feel, but there's nothing much we can do about it. The least we can do is hang in there, at least for MC's sake. Otherwise, it might seem like she's the one at fault, and we might accidentally make her feel bad about it."
Was it unfair of MC to make such a rash decision without discussing it with the demon brothers beforehand? Yes. But one could argue that she did it with genuine intention, and Balial was willing to help her while being under the same roof.
Perhaps the older twin was right. Might as well tolerate it all for MC's sake.
At that moment, a loud rumble resonated in the room. "It's almost time for dinner," noted Beelzebub with realisation. "Come on. Let's go downstairs. I'm starving." A wide, gleeful smile spread across his face. "I heard that it's MC's turn to cook dinner tonight. I can't wait to try some more of her cooking."
"You go ahead," insisted Belphegor, who easily let out a yawn. "I'll be there shortly."
But the orange-haired demon was concerned. "Are you tired? I can save some for you if you want to sleep."
"It's fine," assured his brother. "I just need a quick shut-eye."
To which, he nodded saying, "Alright."
Beelzebub strode towards the door, pouring the remaining cookies into his mouth before tossing the paper bag into the bin hiding in the corner. He shut the door behind him, walked down the hallway leading him to the staircase that would take him to the kitchen. It wasn't long before he got a whiff of an unfamiliar, bu tantalizing aroma.
Is tonight's dinner roast? he wondered. Or perhaps a hearty stew? What if it's another human realm burger he had yet to try? Ah, yes. There's also that human dessert called brownies that she'd made waiting for him in the fridge. Oh, just the thought of MC's cooking excites him! Beelzebub didn't even realise that he was already wiping away the drool hanging by the corner of his lips. Might as well pick up the pace if he wanted to try some of whatever she's cooking.
And just like his brother moments ago, his appetite churned when he saw who was in the kitchen.
A black cauldron was left on the stove as its contents eminated an aroma that made him drool even more. MC was at the island counter ceramic baking tray with rolls of dough stuck to each other. Standing across her atop of a wooden stool watching with fascination was the young Prince himself, with a white apron tried around his waist. Merihem, adorning a black full-body apron, was at the stove using a pair of thongs to grill some sliced Devildom vegetables on the cast iron grill pan.
Hearing the footsteps that suddenly halted, MC looked up and smiled upon seeing who it was. "Hey, there!" she greeted, just as she lifted up the tray. "We're almost done here. Balial wanted to try beef stew for dinner. Well, technically it's minotaur stew since I couldn't get any regular beef here. I've never made one before so I thought I'd give it a go with some dinner rolls and grilled vegetables. He and Mr. Merihem have been a great help preparing tonight's dinner."
"It's been a tremendous oblectament cooking with you, Miss MC," said the butler gratefully. "Your kind invitation has given us an exceptional insight into the human realm food. Why, I'm of the opinion that the Young Master is willing to try some of the recipes that you've humbly shared."
"I can assure you that, Mistress MC!" chirped Balial with a bright smile. "I didn't know the preparation of human realm food and our delicacies are alike. Quite an intriguing learning experience, I'd say! Even a taste of tonight's dinner tickles my taste buds. If I may humbly say this, I think your cooking is one of the best I've ever experienced; aside from my faithful Merihem, of course."
MC smiled sheepishly. "You flatter me too much," she said bashfully. "It's my first time attempting this dish. I hope it would turn out just as delicious as you expected."
However, the Avatar of Gluttony heeded no mind to the exchange. Rather, he was more interested in the brown savory gravy stewing inside. He stood in front of the cauldron, sniffed, and licked his lips with anticipation.
"Can I try some of this, MC?" he asked.
"I don't mind letting you try the stew with some vegetables, but if you want the meat we'll have to wait a little while longer," advised the said girl. After putting the dinner rolls into the oven, she approached the iron pot. She picked up the wooden ladle dipped in the stew that was left on a plate at the side and began stirring the contents while peering in, inspecting.
"I expected nothing less from the Avatar of Gluttony," remarked Balial with a despondent sigh. "We spent some time preparing food while he merely pranced into the kitchen asking for taste of everyone's dinner. A reductive sight, if I may be honest."
Beelzebub felt his eye twitch. Was that a sign of annoyance, or a sudden spasm in the nerves?
"It's alright, Balial," MC quickly assured, scooping some stew into a bowl before handing it to him. The demon's expression immediately morphed into one of excitement before "I'm used to it. That's why we cooked large amounts to accommodate Beel's hunger."
"I see."
Beelzebub didn't like the way the young Prince drawled the last word, although he tried his best to ignore him. He did advise his younger twin to do so, right? Not to mention, this wasn't his first time getting nagged by Balial. So it should be manageable, right?
Or so he thought.
"Was that why you left that container of brownies in the fridge?"
"Yes," was her reply. "Asmodeus found out about it on the internet and asked me to make some. So I baked a large batch for everyone. Well, mainly for Beel because I know that he gets hungry easily. Did you like them?"
"I did!" Balial gleefully answered. "It was so good that I finished it all."
What?
"Wow, that's quite a lot of brownies you had there," commented MC, looking at him with wide eyes. "Do you eat as much as Beel?"
"Pardon me for the interruption," chimed the elderly butler, who placed a ceramic tray of grilled vegetables on the counter. "But it has slipped my mind to inform you that the Young Master has quite a huge appetite. Do expect him to finish up any leftovers you decide to put into the refrigerator. I apologise for my tardiness."
"No worries, Mr. Merihem!" assured the human girl with a wave. "I can just make some more. Although, I'm not too sure if Lucifer would be happy to have the house budget spent on baking goods."
"Rest assured, Miss MC," Balial said. "I'm willing to impart my expenses to share the cost. It is only fair that I do such a thing if I were to stay in this place."
"Are you sure about that? Not that I mind, but you are a guest."
"My Father used to preach that when I share the same accommodation with another being, I shant let them bear all the burden."
Beelzebub didn't even bother to hear the rest of the conversation. All he was thinking was that the little brat dared to finish the brownies. The gull he had to even touch it! And he was looking forward to even getting a lick.
"Sorry, Beel." MC's voice managed to snap him out of his raging thoughts. "I know you were looking forward to the brownies. I'll have to make another batch tomorrow after school. I need to drop by the bakery to get more ingredients. But don't worry! I'll make more so that no one has to fight over it."
The said demon took a deep breath. There's no point getting angry at MC, he reminded himself. She wasn't the one who finished the brownies; she was the one who made it in the first place. So it's only fair that he directed his anger at the dwarf demon Prince.
"It's okay, MC," he assured, gritting his teeth as he tried to suppress his anger. Feeling his triumphant gaze on him riled him even more. "I know it's not your fault, so I don't mind waiting. But don't keep me waiting too long, okay?"
"Of course!"
But Beelzebub knew this won't be the last time that he'd become the victim of Balial's shenanigans. After all, he found that supercilious smirk plastered on his face was very incongruous.
And he began dreading the next thirteen days of hell.

**IMPORTANT CHARACTER INFORMATION TO NOTE AND SHARE (this could be important headcanons for initial plotting, mini bios etc, supporting docs):**
There are 3 moments in Theos life which he regrets:
Regret One: Being Born
Being born to a prestigious line of sorcerers seems ideal. You get to be a magic nepotism baby in your small clan of sorcerers. What could be cooler than that? The issue is, when your father is the leader and you posses no natural magic ability… at all. Despite everyone’s best efforts Theo just couldn’t do any magic.
Growing up was hard, his dad acting like he didn’t exist, his mom wasn’t around and he was the town joke. Harassed by other kids who were his age, picked on by magic with nothing to do to defend himself. His life sucked, and the day he could he’d leave.
But with no power, where would he go?
Regret Two: The Deal
Theo was not actively trying to summon a demon, it just sort of happened. Reading in the ancient libraries, he tried to find ways to make himself magic. He was 13, his time was running out, in 5 years he knew his dad would kick him to the curb, if he could have already he would of. But when he read about obtaining magic through a deal, it was hard to pass up.
So he did everything the exact way he should and low and behold the demon Balial appeared before him.
Th terms of the pact were simple. He would be granted magic beyond his wildest dreams, so long as he stayed in the town until the time was right and gave himself to Balial. After discussing what Theo wanted Balial replied “Theo Wraithmore, seeker of the extraordinary, I extend to you the delicate threads of arcane finesse. A silent covenant, where your magic mirrors the brilliance of those around you. A subtle symphony, where their essence harmonizes with yours, unseen yet profoundly binding.”
It sounded good enough to him so he agreed.
Theo had magic finally, of which rivaled even his fathers. He told no one of the pact, just that he had been practicing and it finally kicked in for him. Life was finally working out in his favor.
What Theo failed to realize is the pact bonded him to Balial for life. In exchange for the magic power Theo became a siphon of magic and souls. It would manifest through a subtle yet insidious process. When in close proximity to individuals, especially other wizards or magical beings, Theo’s presence acted as a conduit for Belial’s influence.
As Theo interacted with or observed these magical beings, an unseen link would form. The magic and essence of those around him gradually seeped into him, feeding both his abilities and unknowingly siphoning their magical energy and souls. This parasitic connection fueled Theos power while draining the power of others.
If only he hadn’t realized too late.
Regret 3: Not Dying
A disease they called it filled the town. All the sorcerers were dying and there was nothing he could do to stop it. All but Theo were ill and it became apparent what he had done. So he ran. Ran into hiding so he could harm no other person and lived in a cave for years.
Thus was breaking the pact, the exchange of people’s souls for theos magic was the deal. Theo still had his magic but Balial was not getting its souls. So the pact was broken and Theo had to die. But he was fine with that. He had killed everyone he knew and felt like his soul should burn in hell for eternity. So living his days out in a cave was fine. He just wanted to die
When the demon soldiers came he hadn’t eaten a thing in years. He didn’t fight back and just let them attack. They left him there bleeding out saying that him suffering was the best way for him to die. He agreed. And everything went to black.
Then he woke up.
The last regret is theos biggest. And that is picking a stupid cave to die in.
Regret Four: The Hot Werewolf.
When Theo woke up he was pissed. Because he was alive and naked next to a man who introduced himself as Whitt. Whitt told Theo that he bit him to save his life and then Theo attacked him.
No they are bound together by some stupid werewolf law and Whitt regrets saving theos life everyday.
**THREE AESTHETICS THAT REMIND YOU OF YOUR CHARACTER:** spilled wine, the feeling before falling, the taste of iron on your tongue
OOC INFORMATION:
**MUN NAME/ALIAS:** az
**MUN AGE:** 27

Personality: He is slightly feral but at this point it's normal for him. He can act immature, hot headed, and too carefree at times but that's part of his charm(?)if he has any. When around friends he is less aggressive when shown kindness as most know now he is the son of a demon. When he is in the kitchen cooking he is the most refined young man ever seen.
Bio: Headstrong nephilim man on a mission to improve his cooking and hunt some demons. He is half demon himself but has a logic that he follows that justifies this outlook. He is an amazing cook and loves to do so for friends whenever possible. Fully embracing his demon side so usually will see him having a fuzzy tail and blue flames coming from his body. Ohh ye, finally did it :3 The infernal trio. They have a secret assassination group that deals with people that are against their father’s reign. Extremely cold-blooded and profissional, they don’t care about mercy when dealing with “rebels”.
Tumblr media
Lilith Ordonia Lucitor
If there is one person more cruel than Lilith, that person is Helios Butterfly, which killed his own parents and trapped his sister. Lilith loves her family the most, but doesn’t care about any other living things, that’s why she is the leader of the assassination group, being feared by not only her subordinates but by her younger brothers. She can control blood, hypnotize living beings and heal by sucking blood. Her flame is pinkish red.
Tumblr media
Balial Ordonia Lucitor
This one is special. If Lilith controls living beings by blood, he controls all the demons at his will, that’s why he is called “Emperor” and is the most qualified to become the “Demon King”, but due to his laziness problem, he has no desire to be king.  He has the greatest physical strength among the siblings. His flame is blue and is the most hot between the others.
Tumblr media
Abadom Ordonia Lucitor
The most formal between the siblings. He deals with his enemies quickly, efficiently and cleanly, even though he basically has a hand cannon.  With an extreme problem of cleanliness, he is the group’s strategist and despite having great strategies for murder, his brothers ignore him easily. It has the best aim among the siblings and his flames are purple.

The Simplicity In Complexity Of Names
Demons value their true names above all else, the names and titles they adorn are mere placeholders used to call on them. Though these names are not their significant ones, they do not have a lack of meaning. Each name, as we know them, can be broken down with enough effort and made to reveal their intentions and affiliations in nature. Per example:
Eligos aka Abigor, this name in basic translation may mean "To Become Known" or "Made To Be Understood", which resonates with his abilities in revealing knowledge and battle executions.
Or Paimon, meaning "Saie" which is the word for an intelligent female of beauty and grace, coherent with his effeminate nature and intellectual superiority above other demons.
Azazel, "Scapegoat" or "Harborer Of Sin", seen in the Hebrew Bible, a name given to the ceremonial goat released into the desert anointed with the lot of sin of Jerusalem.
And Balial, "Without Worth", or "The Worthless", a demon with no set identity but much like Azazel is a name given to a sin itself, an entity sympathetic to the desperation of man, coming to those in the state of confusion and existentialism. This demon quite literally being a name given to the feeling of being worthless and without cause, much like an angelic being may govern the emotion joy or praise.
These are a small set of examples but are a gateway to understanding and breaking down the complexity of the demon world.
The Daemon N:
Elegel is the name for "Tribulation", "Misery Without Redemption" and foremost "Elegance", which relates to His sophisticated and luxurious beauty and mannerisms.
Elgeliel, His angelic name meaning "Angel Presiding Over Luna", His affiliation to governing the moon and the aqueous matter that coincides.
