#மூன்றாம்பிறை (1982)

காதலை வெளிப்படுத்திய படங்கள் முழு நிலவாய்த் திரை வானில் ஜொலித்தாலும் காதலைத் தாலாட்டி தன் கர்ப்பத்தில் வைத்திருந்த மூன்றாம்பிறை கொள்ளை அழகால் மனதில் என்றுமே நிற்கும்.

படத்தின் கதை

விபத்தின் காரணமாக தன்னைப் பற்றிய நினைவுகள் அற்றுப்போகும் விஜி விலைமாதுவாக விற்கப்படுகிறார். அவரை அங்கு சந்தித்துக் கொள்ளும் சீனு அவளைக் காப்பாற்றி தமது வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்துச் சென்று பாதுகாக்கிறார். பார்வையிலே குமரியாக, பழக்கத்திலே குழந்தையாக ஆகிப்போகிறாள். அவளை கண்ணின் இமைபோல் காக்கும் சீனு நாளடைவில் விஜி மீது காதல் கொள்கிறார்.

விஜியின் மனநோய்தீர வைத்தியர் மூலம் குணப்படுத்த முயல்கிறார் சீனு. வைத்தியர் சிறிது சிறிதாக விஜியை குணப்படுத்தி வரும் நிலையில் விஜியின் பெற்றோர் அவளை அழைத்துப் போக வருகின்றனர். விஜியின் மனநோய் குணமாகிறது. அப்போது விஜியை அழைத்து செல்லும் தாயிடம், மனநோய் பிடித்தது குறித்தும் பின் குணமானது குறித்தும் விஜிக்குத் தெரிந்தால் மனரீதியான பிரச்சனைகள் வரலாம் என வைத்தியர் அறிவுறுத்துகிறார்.

விஜி அழைத்துச் செல்லப்படும் செய்தி கேள்விப்பட்டு இரயில் நிலையம் வரும் சீனு, இரயில் பெட்டியில் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் விஜியிடம் ‘விஜி… சீனு விஜி’ எனப் பரிதவிப்புடன் கமல் நடித்துக்காட்ட, ‘பாவம் பைத்தியம் போல’ என்று சாப்பாட்டுப் பொட்டலத்தைக் கொடுத்து கமலுக்கு அதிர்ச்சி அளிப்பார் பாக்கியாவாக மாறிய விஜி.

ரயிலுக்குள் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் பாக்யாவிற்கு, விஜியின் நினைவுகளைத் திரும்பவைப்பதற்காக குரங்கு லீலை, பானை விளையாட்டு என நடித்துக்காட்டியபடியே சென்று இறுதியில், இரும்புக் கம்பியில் மோதி கீழே விழுவார். தன்னைக் கடந்து செல்லும் ரயிலை ரசிகர்களோடு சேர்ந்து இயலாமையோடு பார்த்துக்கொண்டு நிற்பார் சீனு.

மனநலம் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பெண்ணாகவே வாழ்ந்த ஶ்ரீதேவிக்குக்கூட தேசிய விருது கிடைக்கவில்லை. கடைசி ஏழு நிமிடக் காட்சி மொத்தத்தையும் ஒரு அக்மார்க் கலைஞனாக கமல்ஹாசன் தேசிய விருது பெற்றார்.

பாடல்களுக்கான இசையிலும், பின்னணி இசையிலும், சில இடங்களில் இசையைக் கொண்டு கலைக்காத நிசப்தங்களாலும் படம் முழுவதும் வானளாவ உயர்ந்து நிற்பார் இளையராஜா.

கவிஞர் கண்ணதாசன் எழுதிய கடைசி பாடலான கண்ணே கலைமானே என்னும் அழியாப்புகழ் பெற்ற பாடலைக் கொண்டிருக்கும் படம்.

சிறையில் இருந்த நாட்களில்தான், 'மூன்றாம் பிறை' திரைக்கதையை எழுதினேன் என்று பாலுமகேந்திரா ஒரு சந்திப்பில் சொன்னதாக நியாபகம்.
