Why I love BTS?

Here's my answer.

Its curious,I suppose that how easy it is to be loved when you aren't acting yourself. And how people tell you to love and be yourself just the same. So, what do I choose? To be loved? Or to be who I am? Of course I chose the latter. I'd rather be loved authentically.

I wonder to myself every now and then, that art - indeed is a subjective dialogue with your soul.

Because when I'm torn to shreds by people who tell me to build myself, I will look at a painting and sigh at the irony. Here is a screaming mind, in the form of thousand thoughtless colour strokes- standing silent in some corner of a reception office. Or an art exhibition. Or, in the room you had a fight with your dear ones, heart heavy over meaningless words that hurt more than arrows.

And it's only then that I can appreciate art at its best. Silent yet impressive- evoking wonder in the nook of my shy, reluctant cowering heart.

I have a tendency to admire people who wear their 'art' on their sleeves. My heart gravitates towards them.

And that is why BTS are one the few inspiring individuals in my life. They wear their art on their sleeves. If I'm troubled- I'll watch their stages and feel their emotion. Feel the passion behind the lights and glamour. Feel their steady beating presence that tells me that the world is more than black and white- its colours flashing through rapid stances, and bleeding into sweat. Its a heart put out there- at the world, with a voice that echoes powerfully in a stadium.

No wonder artists feel so empty looking at the aftermath of a concert, they figuratively gave their heart out.

And this isn't just about Bts- its to every artist who strives to live their dream- I love you because I love your art and its the most authentic form of adoration that exists. This is beyond me knowing you or accepting your flaws. Or criticising it, for the matter. This is beyond a physical connection.

This is an art to heart connection- the most purest, subliminal forms of silent acknowledgment.
