The new "Karate Kid" movie has added Sadie Stanley as the romantic lead opposite Ben Wang!!! 😀 I know Sadie from season 2 of "Cruel Summer", which weirdly enough one of season 1's cast members was Barrett Carnahan aka Young Kreese on "Cobra Kai". So confirmed cast so far are Ben, Sadie, Ralph, Jackie, and Joshua.

Die First
Tumblr media
Title: Die First
Song:  die first by Nessa Barrett
Pairing: Bangchan x Reader
Word Count: 579
Warnings: mentions of death, angst, and fluff
Summary: After losing someone close to you, you find solace in the arms of Bangchan.
A/N: Recommend listening to die first by nessa barrett
--
The sun was setting on a quiet evening as you sat on the rooftop of your apartment building, looking out at the city below. It had been a few months since you lost someone close to you, and the pain was still fresh in your mind.
You couldn't shake the feeling of loss, of longing for the one you loved to come back to you. Every day was a struggle to get through, and it seemed like nothing could make it better.
But tonight, as you sat alone on the rooftop, you heard a voice behind you that made you jump.
"Hey, what are you doing up here all by yourself?"
You turned to see Bangchan, one of your closest friends, standing behind you with a small smile on his face.
"Oh, Chan, it's just you," you said, relieved to see him.
He walked over to where you were sitting and took a seat next to you, looking out at the city with you.
"You know, you don't have to go through this alone," he said softly.
You looked at him with tears in your eyes, feeling a lump form in your throat.
"I know," you said. "But it's hard. I miss them so much."
Bangchan put his arm around your shoulders, pulling you close to him. You leaned into his embrace, feeling a sense of comfort wash over you.
"I know it hurts," he said. "But you have to remember that they wouldn't want you to suffer like this. They'd want you to live your life to the fullest, even if they're not here with you."
You nodded, knowing that he was right. You had to try to move on, even if it felt impossible.
Bangchan sat with you for a while longer, talking about anything and everything to take your mind off things. He made you laugh, telling you stories about his experiences in the music industry and his members.
For a moment, it felt like everything was okay. Like you could forget about your pain and just enjoy the moment.
But as the night grew darker and the cold set in, you couldn't help but feel a sense of dread creeping up on you. You knew that you would have to face your pain eventually, no matter how much you wanted to run from it.
"Chan," you said softly. "Do you ever feel like you're going to die?"
He looked at you with concern in his eyes, sensing that something was bothering you.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"I mean like, do you ever feel like your time is running out? Like you're going to die soon?"
Bangchan took a deep breath, looking out at the city below before turning back to you.
"I think everyone feels like that sometimes," he said. "But it's important to remember that life is precious. We have to make the most of every moment we have."
You nodded, feeling a sense of comfort in his words.
"I just wish I could go back in time and change things," you said, tears streaming down your face.
Bangchan wiped away your tears with his thumb, looking at you with a sense of understanding.
"I know," he said. "But we can't change the past. We can only learn from it and try to do better in the future."
You looked at him with gratitude, feeling a sense of warmth in your chest.
"Thank you, Chan," you said. "For being here for me."

I got tagged by @kusurrone (it's my first tag game :D)
real name: OwO
Gender: girl!
Best friend: he is not on tumblr
If my life was a tv show: it would be Twin Peaks if the show revolved around the character Harold Smith
How do I feel: so so sleepy!!
Last song: I took a nap to some Ghost album so it must've been Respite on the Spitalfields
Favourite colour: sometimes it's pink sometimes purple!
Last movie: I think it was My Lucky Stars (1985)... It has a cute young Jackie Chan in it. 10/10 Hong Kong comedy in my opinion
Last tv show: I have to admit. It was definitely Supernatural (I like to binge it when I do commissions ok sue me)
Sweet, spicy, or savoury? I want to say savory but I can't think of a single savory food that I like atm
Relationship status: standing at the top of the lighthouse wistfully gazing out across the sea, hoping that the next wave to crest the horizon will be the one to bring him home
Last thing I Googled: "j c leyendecker women'
Current obsession: Ghost. It's the band Ghost. I'm so sorry
Looking forward to: I haven't planned that far ahead
Currently reading: Crime and Punishment (husband has a stack of Russian lit and I never got to read them in high school so I'm catching up)
Song stuck in head: Lucky Star by Nessa Barrett (definitely wasn't triggered by typing out My Lucky Stars (1985))
Favourite food: controversial take but I will always go for a McDonald's cheeseburger. American cheese is hellspawn and I'm addicted to it.
Dream trip: We're talking about going to Greece and Italy but I would love to visit Finland (for Moominland park and no other reason actually)
I'm tagging @lady-gothique @keevan @disabled-sapphic @theotherdeer and @piaart (no pressure! I just picked from my mutuals >.< ୨❤︎୧)

My favorite fanfic you wrote is Just Like a Movie
my dear anon you truly are the definition of god gives his toughest battles to his bravest soldiers 😔
Just Like A Movie is probably the world's most work in progress in the history of wip-dom. That being said, here are unpublished bits that I wrote forever ago.
Uncle Neji moment
"Neji-ojisan! Stop moving! I'm trying to turn you into a princess." Himawari complained to her uncle as he kept squirming around and placed another heart shaped barrette in her masterpiece.
Neji sighed as Hanabi snickered behind her phone. "I apologize, Hima-chan. Please continue."
Hinata entered the living room, placing the nail polish bottles on the coffee table that was in the middle of the room. She smiled a tight smile before delivering the bad news. "I have to go. They moved the date of the shoot to today."
Once the words were out of her mother's mouth, Himawari had stopped braiding Neji's hair. Her mom had to go? Now? She had planned on giving her space buns! Yes, they were gonna be lower than normal space buns with her mom's short hair and all but she was still gonna do them! As much as she wanted to spend time with her mom, she couldn't exactly just ask her to skip out on her work.
Could she?
No, the girl thought. She couldn't.
Narudad moment
"So. Karin tells me that you're a fan of my movies?" Naruto smirked and nudged his son's shoulder. As a famous actor, the man had a fairly large fanbase but knowing that his son, someone whom he hadn't seen in forever, was a huge fan of his acting made his heart flutter in excitement.
Boruto blushed and looked away. He had fanboyed about Naruto's acting to his aunt in confidence! He would have never told her if he knew she was gonna tell his dad. The boy finally managed a mumbled "yes" that caused his dad to beam in happiness.
"Which one's your favorite?" The man asked, happy to have found common ground with his son, even if it involved his career.
"Rasengan," the chibi responded proudly. He watched that movie so much that he was (at least 99%) sure that he could recite it word for word.
"That was a fun one to shoot! I remember that Shikamaru threatened to stop paying for lunch when I kept showing up late." He chuckled at remembering the look his usually stoic manager had when he came back from Hima's play rehearsal after a missed meeting. "Fun times, fun times."
Boruto sweatdropped. He never thought that someone that was supposed to be so cool was so… lame. "What's your favorite movie?" he asked, trying to bring the topic back to something he knew.
"Oh! My favorite would have to be..." he paused in thought trying to rid Shikamaru's face of disappointment from his mind, hand on his chin. "Shadow Clones."
Boruto's nose wrinkled in confusion. He didn't know that one.
Naruto's eyes widened in excitement. "You don't know that one? We could watch it if you want?"
