This thought came to me while I was writing the tags for the fanfic post

what are Morden and Iris' surnames??? Sure, Morden could have just spawned from nothing for all we know but Iris surely has a last name, given we know she has a father

is it just "Bronze"? Like, it could be the most spread out name in Ravenna and that would be funny and possibly correct in cannon lore

But it could be something bizarre and unique like "Firethorn" -first thing that popped into my head just now.

one of my fav scenes is chihiro in a flat out sprint down the falling stairs and i was wheezing imagining deku doing it

Another theory post because of course

so I was writing my fic as one does, I get to the portion where I need to refer to the triasta of bronze and think of googling if that sort of weapon exists.

turns out it doesn't exist as a weapon, it's just named that -which wasn't really a shock but I wanted to make sure it wasn't something only Italian's would get.

Turns out there is a similar name to triasta, that being "Trista"...

And as I was going through the google results of the baby name "Trista" (because triasta apparently is not a thing), I realised...

What if his weapon is named after his wife? What if the wife is/was named Triasta? Because I have not seen anything on the wiki, I don't see how Tria (number 3 in greek) and -sta would work as a name + there has been no trivia mention of this (like he does with spells).

If vetex revealed why it's named this somewhere, please let me know because supposedly he's been revealing more and more stuff and I have not even noticed

a little bit of retrospective rambling

I haven't forgotten about you, I just wanted some time to "brew" my thoughts. people tell me about "blog" branding a lot-- there are design blogs, fashion blogs, cooking blogs..etc they generally stick to a subject and delve into it, deep. I'm not sure how I can do that, since my thoughts are so scattered. so until I figure that out, I won't "focus" this blog just yet. now, to the main point: this past saturday, I was instagram stalking this girl for a solid 15 minutes. she is a friend of a friend of someone who used to me a friend (now that's some degrees of separation). maybe that's just what social media does to you, you look and scroll and look some more, obsessing about this person that you've never met and their life that seems so fun. they eat, travel, live life, buy certain things and see certain people (yes, I know that that's really superficial and instagram isn't "real life") but I couldn't help but to be a little envious. I have wavering thoughts like that sometimes. unhealthy and unrealistic thoughts where I imagine that my life may be or would be better if it was like someone else's. and then I realize how ridiculous it sounds, and promptly snap out of it. part of the time, I blame it on social platforms and well, it's true. doesn't everyone's lives look so glamorous? part of the time, I blame myself for simply spending way too much on the Internet. it's a blessing and a curse. so how do we deal? heh, I don't know ;)
