LOOK AT THE BEFORE AND AFTER! I couldn’t wait to make this post guys! I’ve been trying out this new face kit (acne line) for over a month now and it’s called BioClarity. They are of course an all natural and vegan made line, focusing on using the best of mother nature to help those embody their best skin🙏🏾. X YOOOO. This product is no joke, guys. About a week in I could already start seeing the results. As many may not know, I’ve had a huge journey over the years suffering with acne. I’ve probably tried and researched everything on God’s green earth to fix the whiteheads and painful bumps I would always get around my chin and cheeks. X My first love was with Benzoyl Peroxide, my second was with Retin-A and now... third time’s a charm with BioClarity! I’ve steady been on my search for beauty brand that can do it’s job justice! The line I use comes with the cleanser, a treatment of Salicylic Acid (natural acid compared to the chemical ones I’ve been using), AND their green Chlorophyll moisturizer (which I am modelling in the picture 😉). Summer Beauty Hacks

Not every tip or trick you have learnt after watching endless YouTube tutorials in the winter will last you all year round.  As the weather changes, your body does too.  So, if you want to look the best you possibly can all ready round then you need to get clued up on season savvy trends.  With new colours, trends and beauty staples each year, summer is one of the years most fashion forward seasons and allows us to express our identities and explore our creativity with new dewy, glow makeup trends, fresh off the runway, bright and bold for summer.  Last but not least is a gorgeous tan.  If you want to know how to get all of this and what is hot this year, then read on.  This is your Summer Bible!

Without sounding like top much of a party pooper, we have to begin the talk with SPF aka Sunscreen.  If you care enough about your outer appearance to research the latest trends and spend hours a day applying creams and make-up, then it is vital that your skin is kept in the best condition possible too, right?  Summer brings changes to the suns UVA and UVB rays, these can be extremely harmful to your body and cause a lot of skin damage.  Thankfully this is easily avoidable. 

The SPF number of sunscreen tells you exactly how long you can lounge in the sun before you start to burn.  So, if you are wearing SPF30 for example, you will need to top up roughly every 30 to 40 minutes for the best results.  If you know that you are going to be outside for a long period of time, try using a higher SPF so you are not rummaging around having to apply more.  Don’t forget that if you have made plans to have a dip in the pool or a paddle in the sea, your sunscreen will definitely wash off, no matter what is says on the bottle.  Therefore you will have to top up again as soon as possible.  SPF only covers you for UVA damage, to be protected from UVB damage as well you will need to make sure that your sunscreen offers spectrum protection too.  This will mean that you are fully armed against burning, fine line, aging and skin cancer. As the American Academy of Dermatology suggests, try to remember that “one ounce enough to fill a shot glass” rule when applying sunscreen.

Beach Beauty Tips and Summer Makeup Hacks

1. Soft, silky skin

Chlorine is one of the worst substances for drying out skin and the salt in the sea in hydrophilic, meaning that it is attracted to water and will it’s best to suck it all out of your skin.  To combat this before you apply your sunscreen, protect your body with a small layer of rich oil.  This will lock the moisture into your skin and leave you with a gorgeous dewy glow.

2. Happy hair; happy mind

If you suffer from brassiness and product build up in the hotter months, use baking soda in your shampoo, apply to your hair and rinse.  For those with frizzy or dry hair, applying a pea - sized amount of a moisturising leave-in conditioner can make all the difference in the world.  Giving you the silky, smooth locks you dream of!

3. Melting Mascara

Most waterproof mascaras will contain polymers in their formula that naturally entwine with your lashes, allowing them to ensure hot sweaty heat and a splash in the sea.  To take this further applying a dust of translucent powder before your mascara makes it virtually indestructible.

4. Lip Loss

We lose our lip colour at the best of times.  Instead of applying lipstick or gloss this summer, opt for a bright, bold stain that won’t rim on every bottle or glass… and will probably last longer than 15 minutes too!

Now your beauty regime has been updated, you are healthy and your skin feels fabulous… all that is left to do is to enjoy the sunshine.
