What are some head cannons you have about Mikey?

Ohhh, I hadn't put much thought into it before but here are some of my main hc for him:

He has a lot of anger issues and has a hard time managing his emotions (those are mostly because of William's abusive behavior)

He is very socially awkward, even before he died and was forced to hide in shadows, he just doesn't know how to function properly in society

He dearly loved his siblings, but as William was very neglectful he was forced to assume a parenting role with them which took a toll on him and made him pretty resentful towards them

He has a different mother than Evan and Elizabeth (and neither of them are aware of it)

He didn't fully realise how much harm he was causing Evan when bullying him. He really was just so angry at life that he let out his frustrations on the easiest target without thinking of the consequences

He spend his life (and death) trying to make up for the bite, and he never felt like he ever succeeded in redeeming himself

He is very good with kids, and once the Missing Children understood he wasn't William they became pretty attached to him.

He always had troubles with mirrors because of how much he looks like William

When he first got scooped, he was utterly disgusted at himself and avoided looking at himself, covering himself as much as possible. As time went on, he got used to it and, eventually, he even finds himself preferring seeing his rotten corpse than the carbon copy of his father in the mirror.

He's very gay and very much infatuated with Jeremy, though it took them quite a while to actually get together (there was a lot of internalised homophobia and commitment issues on Mike's side)

Personally, I don’t like writing people who have their shit together. I don’t like writing people with ironed suits and a healthy sleep schedule when I could write about a messy 27 year-old with bags under his eyes or a teenager with worn out shoes and ink-smeared hands. Maybe I prefer writing about friends taking Polaroids in abandoned parks on rusty swings and going home with mud on their clothes, because they laugh better.
