I assume fandom as in spaces online what I participate in or visit, because there are many things that I enjoy but whose fandoms I don't interact with. That specially applies to music. My social battery can only last so long.

Anime/Manga

Despite how my art looks like, I’m very drawn to shows that are colorful, endearing, and dynamic. I want fluff, friendship, sparkles, no major world-altering conflict, just overall characters having a good time and creating impactful relationships amongst each other. I love wholesome happy endings, which is great for my soft heart. I know JJBA doesnt fit that category but it’s outlandish enough to make it a lot of fun. I have a soft spot for Vento Aureo in particular.

Now, I open an exception for Junji Ito. I love inhuman horror, where the threat can't be understood nor controlled. Amazing artstyle aswell.

Books

Dostoievski, Bulgakov, Tchekov

Rip dostoievski, you would have loved Mob Psycho 100. I feel like he would really appreciate a story centered around a character discovering themselves and how to approach their own feelings and the world and people that surround him. I know russian literature has a reputation of being heavy to intrepret and digest. It tackles complicated themes, yes. However, it does that in relatable, heartfelt, and oftentimes comedic way.

On a personal note, some works will be especially funny if you’re queer. As a queer person myself I intrepret A LOT of russian lit characters as being gay, messy, and unhinged. I say that as the highest of compliments. The people in the fandoms I'm in also agree

Dostoiesvki; Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov, The Idiot. Sad, unhinged men, powerful beautiful women, crimes.

Bulgakov; Master and Margarita!!! Bisexual criminals hanging out with the devil

Tchekov: Short stories, I especially love Ward Nº 6.

Games

I have no shame in admitting I want easy to play games. I already challenge myself with art daily, I don’t care about challenging myself in hobbies.

So I like a lot of visual novel/dating sims. I really liked The Arcana. My fave is, unfortunately, Lucio. I love mess! Love his looks and his horrible little attitude. I want a Valdemar tale. Currently, I’m also up to date with Last Legacy from the fictif app. I started Felix’s route (same with Julian from The Arcana, I went for the edgy emo one) but ended up picking Sage as a favorite. Like I said, I love mess! am currently waiting for a rime route idc if he tried to murder me

I really like Outlast as well, and have watched many, many playthroughs. Of both games. I've read the comics. Currently dormant in that fandom, but I am waiting for the new game to come out.

Youtube

I love fun and I love informative. If it's both, then it's for me. I might binge watch something from time to time, but the ones above are people whose content I've been coming back to for years.

Unhhh-Can't describe it but I love it and rewatch it often. Everyone who is a fan of Unhh is a friend of mine

Ask a Moritician-Caitlin Doughty! I'm always up do date with her channel, and I have bought all of her books. Her fandom is The Order of the Good Death basically jhdkjhaskj

Buzzfeed Unsolved- I've only recently started watching, yes, I know it ended. I'm having a lot of fun tho

Puppet History- A project with Shane Madej and Ryan Bergara, but without buzzfeed. I love history, I love puppets, I love songs.

How to Cook That- Ann Reardon my beloved! She debunks hacks, shows how to actually make them work, saves cakes, makes gorgeous food. Very clever, very wholesome (i stan dave). I also never miss a video

Jaboody Show- Not quite youtubers. They often upload their twitch streams on youtube. I don't watch them all tho. I always think 'i'll just watch 30 min of this 6 hour video' and end up watching the whole thing because they're so fun. Great to listen while working

Utsu-P - Not a youtuber, but a musician. A vocaloid producer, to be exact. Also never miss an upload. Moksha is my fave album and Unique is at close second.

Music

Speaking of Unhhh, I love the music Trixie Mattel (Brian Firkus) puts out. Yellow Cloud, and Gold always make me happy I’m alive. I don't belong to any fandom, however. I don’t stay inside genres either, I go after music for the emotions they bring in me. I spent the last few days listening to Crazier by Taylor Swift, the song she performed in the Hannah Montana movie shdjksahdjk. Some weeks prior it was Baba Yaga by Slaughter to Prevail. I have clear memories of listening to the Cheetah Girls while doing character design, too. Sometimes I listen to 20 minute videos that have snippets of a bunch of pop music from a certain year, when I need to keep up the energy. I'm the type that loves a band but doesn't even know the main singer's name. Which is great, cuz music fandoms look WILD. I'm peacefully enjoying things.

What a very long post! But this is basically it. Also shout out to 90 Day Fiance, that I keep up with because I always watch it with my mom. It's our thing. I'm in that fandom aswell cuz I love the chaos and telling my mom gossip.

hhhh-ewwwo? I did say I wanted to chat and I desperately do not want to do work or studies so buckle in for a long post (derogatory). 22. role model? Oh man, I don’t think I have any, like, specific ones for entire things, though I do fall in my hero-worship phaes and then fall out of them like everyone else. I think that taking an entire person and being like I wanna be like them is... not for me though. But I do look up to some people for specific things - I look up to, weirdly enough, Abigail Phylosohpytube who I didn’t watch before her coming out for her graceful coming out video though she admits that the experience wasn’t obviously as smooth. I look up to lots and lots of people for their ability to create and their art (not gonna tag my fav artists bc am tiny and do not want people to look at me, but i do be reblogging). I look up to people like ConcernedApe Stardewvalley and Supergiantgames Hades for their ability to put so much soul in their work, smth I aspire to do. I look up to @not-poignant for, among other things, their idk how to say it best, wisdom in understanding and communicating with others and with myself? I’ve learned a lot by just sort of being in their periphery and seeing how they articulate their thoughts and choose to be kind and witness other’s pain. Hell, I look up to twitch streamers and youtubers sometimes (the recent nice trait I’d like to have if I ever went into bigger content production is how ibxtoycat deals with parasocial relationship realities). 23. strange habits? Hm. I don’t think drinking tea whenever I need a pick-me-up is strange, that’s just probably forcefully assigning a British nationality to me. I think my insistence on misspelling words in a way I think is lowkey funny might be one, I say thamks bc it feels softer, or thank bc it’s funny, I say sleeb, I say finkers or tryink or otherwise replace g with k for lulz. I also don’t know if it counts as a habit but I have a small leather band around my wrist that’s been there for a year soon. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I probs have like, stranger habits but I can’t recall rn. 29. best way to bond with you? Hmm. Well, if you show initiative and are explicit about wanting to spend time with me, that’s already a big chance of me spending time with you. And then if our interests match and I don’t think that you’re like, young in a way that automatically puts me in a position where I don’t feel comfortable really being myself around you bc in my head I have to look out for you (it has happened with two of my friends, sigh), and we regularly spend time together, voila, friend acquired. It simultaneously doesn’t take much and takes a bit to be my friend and bond with me - it’s easy af to become a casual friend cuz I’m always open to new people, but there has to be a level of trust to become like, a close friend. Respecting my boundaries, talking shit with me, being explicitly committal about wanting to bond with me are big steps that way. 31. what outfit do you wear to kick ass and take names? Uh, I don’t do neither, but a current fave that is reasonably badass is my black tshirt with like, a ritual circle and a deer skull. V edgy, 10/10. I also used to have like a real edgy tshirt with a jester and some dice that said the game of life, but I threw it out bc dysphoria. or maybe I put it at the back of my closet along with one other shirt In Case I Get Top Surgery so I can wear them then. 34. advertisements you have stuck in your head? Many, such is the nature of advertising, alas. I have managed to avoid most of it tbh though, so the only place I am forced to sit through ads so they stick is my scrabble capitalist nightmare app where I play and always beat haha my coursemate. And they have adds for those shitty apps where you have to solve a puzzle that ends up failing in the add and like, drenching a man in green goo. I find those kinda fascinating tbh. Who plays these games? Who plays these shitty shitty games whose ad has to be “prove your IQ“ to make you want to prove yourself to play them? Oh and also, the insidious nature of ads in media I consume - the mcelroys have gotten me informed about many many things bc they do it in a funny way. Have you heard about squarespace? What about meundies? I also literally installed honey yesterday that I knew abt bc of the relentless adds and I wanted to save, uh, 2.50 from my minecraft server purchase (and then spent some time googling how they make money before giving up. just say u sell my data, that’s easier than not knowing what part of this makes you money). I was tired and in a weird mood, ok. 50. what made you laugh the hardest you ever have? It’s always the stupidest jokes, what matters more is laughing together with someone and getting caught in a laughing loop. I still remember laughing with my siblings until our stomachs really really hurt bc I think one of us said a rug was vomit-colored and it was funny in the moment. How many times have I laughed like that with you too, vit. I know that Laura’s one is nostrilatu, right? :D :D It’s just something that catches you off guard, I think.

58. four talents you’re proud of having? Oh shid. Hm. 1) My ability to analyze data and understand the basic building blocks of something. Makes me cool at studying and sexy at explaining things to my course-mates. 2) Not a talent more like a skill that I’ve worked hard on through therapy - but my inner positive voice/healthy parent is very strong and automatic (something I was sure would never happen). A good example is me going out for a walk, my phone dying so I can’t listen to music, when I went in my head “well I can always make music in my head. do-do-do *drum sound*“ and I could feel the wave of self-reprimand cresting but before I could actually hear any negative comments the positive voice said with a light of a thousand suns NO THAT IS ACTUALLY CUTE AND SEXY and just haaaaaaah. 3) I sing good. Need to sing more. 4) I think I’m good at making conversation. Even with people I don’t necessarily like or want to talk to. More of a skill again but whatever. 61. favorite line you heard from a book/movie/tv show/etc.? Do not come to me and ask for favorites, witch. Uh, I have some quotes in my notes app, like 7 from Pia’s writing :D. But imma go with “It’s a serious thing just to be alive on this fresh morning in the broken world“ by Mary Oliver. It counts, ok. Or, wait, something I will for real one day either crosstitch of commission shitpostcalligrapher: “t’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. To have like a couple days with no responsibilities and without the outside world bearing on me as heavily, to be tiny tiny tiny so I’m invisible and can drink tiny tea on a tiny leaf. Uh, in general? My recently formulated wish or a goal is stability/peace. Then everything else becomes ok because you can bounce back to stable ground between feeling shit or everything happening so much. And I’ve sort of reached that. 3. Worst dream u have ever had? I had sleep paralysis but was imbetween that and a lucid dream. At first I was paralyzed and could see my bed but my eyes felt closed and open at the same time?? A giant dark demon looking dog had towered over me and began to tear at my neck. It looked and felt very real I started to try to scream and it felt like a scream was coming out but no sound exited. Then I went into a lucid dream where I was being chased by this dog and running for my life I was running by and nobody could save me nobody in the dream when it caught up to me I was back in my bed and it was trying to eat me again. I was so terrified I couldn’t sleep for a whole week.

4. Lyric that comes to your mind? “And I don’t think I can be there. I’m paralyzed,I’m terrified of being alone. When you said I deserved what had happened.”

5. Blood make u uncomfortable? Yes, I passed out once when getting my finger pricked and a VERY small blood sample and another when dissecting a fish.

6. Even or odd numbers? Well I like the number 5,7,9, 3 so odd. (Like me 🤣🤣)

7. Something I hate that I love? Anything I’ve ever loved becuz love can be frustrating. Bruh.

I’m not a huge movie person so...I looked up movies from 2005 and movies Inlike from this time are Brokeback mountain bcuz it’s gay af, Shark Boy and Lava Girl damn I rewatched the shot out of it when I was younger, Narnia and the Chocolate Factory(although it low key creeped me out as a kid, and idk why).

12. Least fav music genre? Most country, most EDM, dubstep, screaming/really hard rock, some pop music, mumble raping.

13. As someone who waits on tables, my job is my least favorite restaurant experience 🤣🤣 just dealing with ppl...like ok, I’m half Hispanic right?? But I look white. Well, I work at a Mexican restaurant and so sometimes racist costumers will say shady shit just bcuz I guess they think it’s appropriate to say it to me just bcuz I’m not Hispanic in their eyes?? But it pisses me off and I feel like I can’t say anything without causing a drama which I hate and when the “costumers always right” it can be hard to budge and stand up and say “bitch wtf did u just say??” And there’s just folks who take things the wrong ways or ask too much at once or give u a hard time or just say something that sticks onto you for the whole day. One bad move can turn my whole day upside down.

Doing a Michael Jackson esque “hee-hee” after every sneeze I make, being extremely clumsy and making every task 100% more difficult, having the ability to talk as if I have an accent that comes from nowhere in particular just stupidity also I can’t speak my own language half the time 🙃getting words confused or misusing them in a sentence so I sound dumb having a very weird imagination and thoughts, I swear it like I never went to school and don’t know how the world works, plus many many more

17. Clothing style u want? I want to dress in a way that screams who I am and is a blend of both femininity and masculinity. A little vintage. Grunge. Urban maybe?? What do I know abt fashion 🤣🤣

18. Song or artist that deserves more? Dijon, hands down. I love his stuff. He’s like Frank Ocean meets light-singing beautiful lyricist with a more rock vibe?? Hidden gem. I also think Durand Jones & the Indications needs more love along with BadBadNotGood they sound like old-times but are new!! Oh, and Pale Waves is like a female The 1975 and kicks it. Bad Suns is a good alt rock band that no one seems to recognize :,D Toro y Moi too! His song with Flume “The difference “ is a banger!! Kid Cudi is my man when I want a blend of rock and rap. About Page!

Hello~! Thank you so much for visiting my blog! My name is Koya, I’m 25, I’m pansexual, my pronouns are she/her, and I’m a full time freelance artist! My main blog is @koyakyuuun, so I’ll be liking and following from there!

Below are some guidelines for those who are curious to know more about this blog and what to expect from it, as well as some general info and FAQs!

Content Guidelines!

The focus of this blog!

So this blog is a mish mash of a couple different themes, but above all it is an adult oriented Invader Zim fan blog!! I grew up with the show and and was a BIG fan during highschool, and after rediscovering it this year I have been DAZZLED and DELIGHTED by the fan content being produced today!! I have a deeply nostalgic yet completely new perspective on the show now that I’m in my 20s, so alongside of celebrating iz content and fan content in general, this blog will center around my niche fave: the iz cast + millennial culture! in other words, the characters depicted as if they lived in the real world and aged in real time! I loved and related to the characters as a kid, and I still love them dearly to this day, so to see people experiment with character interpretations and create adult versions of them means I can still relate to them even now, and even make my own versions! and as a queer neurodivergent millennial who loves niche culture, my favorite versions of the characters are queer neurodivergent millennials who love niche culture!! (and by niche culture I mean MEMES, AESTHETICS, BAD FASHION, GAY CULTURE, CRYPTID CULTURE, DARK CORNERS OF THE INTERNET, CREATIVELY WEIRD SELF EXPRESSION ETC!!)

And of course the other main theme which fits into the first: ZADR! while I don’t ship Zim and Dib as they’re canonically presented in the show, I DO adore the idea of the two growing up together, eventually becoming friends, and eventually falling in love. I’m a Big Gay and I love romance and lgbt content, and ZADR holds such a soft place in my heart 😭 I wrote a big post about why I love it so much which you can see here if you’re curious about my interpretation of the ship!

And now, some guidelines!!

Things I enjoy and will be posting/reblogging!

- general IZ content! because holy SHIT I love the show and ALL the content the fandom creates is awe inspiring and amazing!!!

- millennial culture/humor! I FUCKING LOVE IZ + 2019 POP CULTURE REFERENCES AND MEME CONTENT OKAY

- POSITIVE CONTENT! IZ is my comfort content and I deeply admire the positive impact the show has had on so many people. I also interpret Zim and Dib as having hard lives and mental problems but eventually recovering and finding happiness (and making each other happy!!). I do also love vent content and gritty/dark themes from an artistic standpoint (and of course comedic Depression™ memes) but I will be focusing much more on comforting and uplifting content!

- character development/relationships, fluff, comedy, domestic content, daily life, sci fi, conspiracy/cryptid content, fashion portraits and camp horror!! these are my favorite themes!!

- friendship, romance, and found family!! I adore the relationships between the characters and they ALL DESERVE LOVE!!!!! JHONEN CAN BITE MY ASS

- the IZ creators!! speaking of Jhonen LOL I LOVE seeing content about the creators themselves!! I genuinely have such affection and admiration for the wonderful people who brought and continue to bring the world of IZ to life, they are such amazing and inspiring human beings and I will be celebrating them alongside their creations!!

- IZ characters + aesthetics!! some of my MOST favorite IZ content depicts the characters being stylized with or sporting the fashion of vaporwave, goth, grunge, pastel, spacecore, cryptidcore, future funk, 90s disastercore and any and all things strange, niche, glittery and neon, and I FUCKING LOVE IT. Things I will be staying away from!

- romantic content that depicts the characters as minors AKA underage zadr!! there will be no kid ships here! I’m an adult and only enjoy shipping adult versions of the characters! kid content will be either canon, wholesome, or friendship content! while I do find adult versions of the characters attractive since they have qualities I find attractive in real life, I see the adult versions as almost completely different people since they’re so far removed from the source content, and the love I feel for the canon kids is HIGHLY maternal and very nostalgia centric. this would probably be more clear if I didn’t lump the two types of content into the same blog, but I really do love both the adult fan interpreted IZ world and the canon IZ world in equal measure, just in different ways!

- content that fetishizes or ‘yaoi’-fies gay relationships! I am a queer person and I enjoy queer content made by queer people for queer people, you’re not gonna find any “B-BUT WE’RE BOTH BOYS!” shit here 😂

- content that depicts abuse between friends or partners!! while violence is an active theme in zim and dib’s canonical relationship, I very much dislike zadr content that depicts the two being aggressive or malicious towards each other while they’re supposedly in love. complex relationships are certainly interesting, but while toxic and abusive relationships are realistic, they’re not okay and should not be romanticized. I understand some people use that kind of content to cope, but for me it’s nothing but bad feelings. sparring and play fighting is fine and good, consensual violence could be interesting to explore, but hatred will stay separate from romance on this blog.

- discourse and long conversations about negative topics! I acknowledge the importance of discussing problems within the fandom, however I wish for this blog to be a positive and comforting place, since iz content in general is positive and comforting for me! there may be an occasional post that touches on real life negative topics but overall this will be kept to a minimum.

- explicit content!! while I DO both draw and consume nsfw adult zadr content, it will not be on this blog! since tumblr decided to be idiots and remove any way for minors and people who don’t wish to see nsfw content to hide it, this blog will remain pg-13. I will also not be providing any links to my other sites because of this (I am a nsfw artist and I sell porn commissions for a living, not trying to shove that in the faces of my minor, ace and sex repulsed followers, but by all means seek out my art if you DO wish to!). similarly, I will not be releasing my nsfw zadr art publicly anywhere, since aged up characters are controversial and my career, being online, could suffer if someone wanted to use that against me. About my content!

So since what I like to draw is usually pretty different from the show, here are the basic headcanons for my interpretations of adult Zim and Dib~! Basically they’re queer 2019 millennials who are damaged but doing their best and enjoy niche interests and subcultures. Zim is the type who’s tough to handle but it’s worth it because he’s an amazing and colorful person underneath it all and only those he’s close to get to see that, and Dib is an eccentric but completely reliable, intelligent, passionate, and loyal friend whose company is a familiar comfort and a total safe space. They live together and are mutually beneficial allies to friends to lovers!

I HAVE A FIC, or at least an idea for one lol and when using my designs for the characters, my drawings will most likely be set in its context! Affectionately nicknamed the Soft AU, it’s centered around rest, recovery, affection, care and bonding… bc I’m SOFT OKAY 😂 You can read the full summary here, but here’s the gist!

A little over a decade after arriving on earth, Zim’s banishment is reinstated and as a result his entire base and all his equipment is confiscated, leaving him stranded on Earth with no way off the planet and in danger of being caught and killed by the humans. Dib offers him a deal that he’ll hide Zim instead of turning him in in exchange for letting him study Zim. They live together in Dib’s apartment and eventually get used to each other. Loneliness induced affection ensues. Hooray!!

And now for the boys themselves!

My Dib!

- 25, 6′2″, Mexican, cis boy, bisexual, bilingual

- is recovering from depression and anxiety and has ADD and insomnia, has had a nicotine addiction

- has a ton of ear piercings and a few facial piercings, as well as a few tattoos

- is still just as obsessive about his interests as he was as a kid, just with more curbed enthusiasm due to, yknow, depression. researching Zim however brings his enthusiasm back full force. he still sucks at taking care of himself when enthralled with his work but he’s getting there

- runs various blogs, forums, and youtube channels making content about cryptids and conspiracy theories, the ad revenue of which is his main source of income (he dislikes using his father’s money to support himself, but will dip into the family account occasionally)

- is very patient and can communicate and problem solve very well, and is skilled at handling various conflicts and mental issues

- still has his ‘I hate people’ attitude but is more open minded and understanding than he used to be, and more compassionate. he has difficulty trusting strangers but his friends and family are very important to him

- can be moody and dramatic but he’s a big sweetheart at his core

- being friends with Zim has made him more willing to enjoy acting like a huge dork and total weirdo, even in public

My Zim!

- young adult, 5′5″, androgynous presenting demi boy, panromantic demisexual

- has PTSD and anxiety, is recovering with help from Dib

- displays inhuman behavior such as hissing, growling, chirring, chirping, scratching/biting, screeching, territory guarding and dominance displays

- is a demi boy, meaning he identifies as mostly but not completely male, and is more nonbinary than cis, but he’s never given it too much thought because gender is stupid. he has little to no concept and zero regard for human gender roles

- is a SHIT who’s main entertainment is annoying Dib and ‘winning’ arguments, but Dib seems to get harder to piss off as time goes on, much to his confusion

- pitches a fit when he doesn’t agree with/doesn’t want to do something but can be swayed with rewards such as food, sweets, new clothes, video games etc

- rambunctious and high energy, he gets stir crazy often, but since he hates the city he and Dib often take car trips to more fun/nicer places outside the neighborhood

- moody and bratty with skewed logic but smart and more intuitive than he used to be, he’s more than a handful to deal with, but this also makes him the most entertaining person Dib knows

- after having the free time to discover the world of aesthetics, he becomes very much into clothes, make up, accessories etc (be they masculine or feminine) and enjoys making a hobby out of creating a unique self image using fashion (thus also subconsciously asserting his individuality)

- is much more dependent on Dib than he admits (or even realizes)

- his beliefs in nationalism, fascism and genocide are direct results of brainwashing and personality altering programs run by his PAK, and are not actually part of his core personality (these programs will be overridden and deleted eventually)

Side Note: I haven’t thought as far with the other characters but my Gaz and Tak are definitely lesbians 😂

I have a bunch of thoughts about the War of the Spark novel but I JUST DISCOVERED THERE ARE JAPANESE ANIME VERSIONS OF ALL THE PLANESWALKERS IN THIS SET AND I NEED TO RATE THEM ALL LET’S GO

First off, all images are from here, and credit to their respective artists (listed on the card). In color order, we have:

Karn, the Great Creator: Looks pretty much the same. Like the warping effect of the scenery around him though, and he looks really mad. Minus points for forgetting he wears pants now, but the English artist forgot too so I can’t ding them too hard. 6/10.

Ugin, the Ineffable: All of Ugin’s cards kinda look like this, but there’s not much else you can do with him. Like the more aggressive action pose than his English art. 6/10 did not need the crotch shot though.

Gideon Blackblade: The English art is actually way more anime than this one. This Gideon just looks bored. 3/10.

Teyo, the Shieldmage: Now this is what I’m talking about. Clearly an anime take on the same model as the photorealistic English art, but jazzed up with a super-cool action pose as befits someone in the middle of a massive war. 10/10.

The Wanderer: The Wanderer already had a super-anime look and this art brings it home. Love the slash extending over the text box. Looks like the scene that comes right before the English art, like this is the freeze-frame ninja slash and the English one is the walking away while your enemy slowly falls down dead. 9/10.

Jace, Wielder of Mysteries: IT’S JOJO’S JACE. JOJACE. Jace never gets to have cool action poses and this one is long overdue. He is definitely about to wield a mystery into an Eternal’s face. 10/10 go get ‘em Jace.

Kasmina, Enigmatic Mentor: Hard to pin down the exact difference, but I like this art way less than the English version. I had to double-check to make sure it was the same character; it’s so generic and has none of the same vibe. Then again the English version was done by Villeneuve so maybe it’s not a fair competition. 2/10.

Narset, Parter of Veils: This is a beautiful portrait of Narset back when she was 12. Anime has a major problem drawing any woman between the age of 18 and 65 and Narset is just the first victim in this list. Everything else looks amazing; it’s especially a shame here because Narset has that flowing kung-fu silks look that’s right in the anime wheelhouse. 5/10 what could have been.

Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage: He MAD. Almost too mad. Davriel looks so much bigger and scarier in this art that I had to make sure it wasn’t Ob Nixilis. Super-cool final boss style but maybe too super-cool for someone who’s actually a skinny Innistrad shut-in. Kinda generic pose too. 6/10.

Liliana, Dreadhorde General: They brought in Yoshitaka Amano for the mythic, huh? I know I dinged Narset for looking 12 and this Lili looks even younger (if possible) but Amano does have this weird abstracted style and the rest of her looks real spooky. She looks more like a yokai than a person - like this is something you’d get killed by at the finale of a really spooky Japanese horror game. Normally that’d be a good look for Lili but this is the one set where she’s supposed to be at least a little human, so 8/10.

Ob Nixilis, the Hate-Twisted: Big mad demon lad. Not a lot you can do with Ob Nixilis, really. 5/10 did their best with generic material.

Chandra, Fire Artisan: Chandra in the English art always looks like she’s about to throw a fireball, but never does. Now she finally gets to. It’s a generic anime action pose but not one we’ve gotten with Chandra so I’m for it, and she doesn’t look toooooo twelve. Maybe 15. Good colors. 9/10 nice Kirby hand.

Jaya, Venerated Firemage: Was worried about this one because anime doesn’t handle older women well in art, but it’s not too bad. Clearly different from Chandra’s art, which is always gonna be a problem when they’re in the same set. Like her neat twirly staff trick. Something is weird about her face though. Like it was painted on after the rest of it. IDK. 6/10.

Sarkhan, the Masterless: This is the only time I’ve actually been intimidated by Sarkhan. 9/10 doesn’t have a dragon in the art.

Tibalt, Rakish Instigator: Similar to the above, this is the only time I’ve been interested in Tibalt as a character. A way better rendition of the epithet “Rakish Instigator.” Absolutely your friend’s Problematic Fave from an anime they describe as “Hellsing but with more magical girls.” 10/10 would make an excellent Bloodborne NPC.

Arlinn, Voice of the Pack: Same as Narset, this is great art of Arlinn like thirty years ago. Love the dynamic pose (though I can’t figure out what her hand is doing with that hammer), but real Arlinn is a battle-scarred Sigourney Weaver and there aren’t even any wolves. 4/10 needs more wolves.

Jiang Yanggu, Wildcrafter: This one is kinda cheating since Jiang was developed specifically for the Chinese market and is basically an anime character already, but still. Look how pumped he is. Look at Mowu. Look how good of a boy he is. If this were the English art people would be getting mad that he doesn’t look Chinese but that’s a whole stew of identity issues I’m not getting anywhere near. 8/10 adorable good boyes.

Nissa, Who Shakes The World: I’m not...No. I’m not going anywhere near this. Gross. 0/10 keep it on your deviantart page.

Vivien, Champion of the Wilds: What did I just say about Nissa? What did I just say. The action lines swooping out of the art across the frame & text box are cool and that’s the only reason it gets a point. 1/10.

Ajani, the Greathearted: He is a big pretty kitty but honestly this art is kind of a letdown. Given anime’s love of cat-people, this is the place where I’d expect the fanservice, but it’s just basically a model-sheet pose of Ajani. Looks like a bad alter of Brimaz, King of Oreskos. Honestly I’d have expected the English version of this card to be the Japanese one, and vice versa. 3/10 he still a big fluffy kitty.

Domri, Anarch of Bolas: This is RAD. If Domri had to bow out (spoilers) this is the kind of card art to do it on. Beautiful colors, furious pose, avoids the “young boy or butch lesbian” look that most of his other art falls into (that’s not a joke; I’ve fielded multiple questions about his gender from confused new players). Any feral teenager would be thrilled to look this badass. Gruul SMASH. 10/10.

Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God: Is this another artist like Amano who has a kinda stylized look? Because otherwise this is just...bad. Not at all befitting of a dragon-god. You’d think with all of Ravnica before him he’d be able to do better. 2/10.

Ral, Storm Conduit: Honestly can’t decide how I feel about this art. The detail is amazing and the lightning is killer but there’s just something weird about Ral. Maybe he’s not smirking enough. Maybe his legs are too big. I want to like this more than I do, but I don’t. 7/10.

Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord: I’m so mad about this art because it makes Sorin look way cooler than he has any right to. The sword, the coat, the swirling ribbons of blood. But anime’s always had a way with vampires, so Sorin is the undeserving beneficiary of a skilled Jojo’s upgrade. 8/10 it was ME ALL ALONG yeah you know the joke.

Tamiyo, Collector of Tales: Tamtam’s another character whose East Asian origin makes her very well-suited to the anime look. In fact I’d say her white skin and complicated ears/headdress look turns out better in an anime style than a photorealistic one. Her skeptical look and halo of floating scrolls are just the icing on the cake. 9/10 dinged a point because the happy Ravnica skyline behind her is a weird choice and ill-suited to the mood.

Teferi, Time Raveler: Anime seems to do a lot better with middle-aged men than middle-aged women. A perfectly serviceable, if bland, Teferi. 5/10.

Angrath, Captain of Chaos: He EXTREMELY MAD. Angrath’s signature red-hot chains are perfect for a swirling anime post and the artist took good advantage of them. If anything he’s almost too bestial, though - Angrath is actually a loving family man and blacksmith who’s so furious because he was trapped on Ixalan for decades away from his home and loved ones. 7/10 somehow too mad.

Ashiok, Dream Render: Now that’s how you draw an inscrutable dream-creature who wields your deepest nighmares. 10/10 love the way they seem to be looking the player in the eye, as if they’re about to conjure your specific personal fears.

Dovin, Hand of Control: Perfectly serviceable Dovin art but I don’t like the thopters and that is unforgiveable. 0/10 because fuck this guy, seriously, and 0/10 on the English art for also having bad thopters while we’re at it.

Huatli, the Sun’s Heart: Huatli also suffering a little de-aging here but I’ll let it slide because she absolutely looks like the main character of a cult 90s anime and I would watch the hell out of it. Major Nausicaa vibe here, but with dinosaurs. Sign me up. 9/10 bad riding posture though.

Kaya, Bane of the Dead: Kaya with the straight-up Ghibli treatment here. There’s nothing technically wrong here but it’s totally the wrong mood and pose for her. I’d watch that Ghibli movie though. 4/10.

Kiora, Behemoth-Beckoner: A pretty literal interpretation of the epithet but who cares, it’s badass and way more tasteful than I feared we might get for the one planeswalker who could plausibly be drawn with tentacles. Love the attention paid to the water and the details of it splashing off her fins. 8/10 is that a walrus? but like with tusks on the bottom jaw? upside down walrus?

Nahiri, Storm of Stone: Repeat after me: NAHIRI IS LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF YEARS OLD. SHE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE SHE’S FOURTEEN. She looks in her twenties at the youngest. Reminds me of Mara Sov from Destiny, who is also thousands of years old, looks in her twenties, and gets drawn like she’s 12. Even apart from the de-aging this is just awkward art. The pose is bizarre, the background is weirdly photorealistic, and Nahiri has no expression. 3/10 at least it isn’t a boobs & butt pose.

Saheeli, Sublime Artificer: I...do not know what is going on here with Saheeli’s face. Or her body proportions, really. I guess it’s supposed to be foreshortened but her gormless expression and the weird Lisa Frank colors make me think of a Disney Channel cartoon about planeswalkers. The beautiful detail on the flowing metal is nice but the rest is just strange. 4/10 nice metal dragon though.

Samut. Tyrant-Smasher: I really like this art but it makes me think a lot of people are going to make jokes about Samut “looking like a man” or “barely being a woman,” especially since her name isn’t very clearly gendered, and that just makes me sad. The art itself is nice and totally on-model for her, though her shoulders are kind of weirdly broad and it’s a shame they didn’t take advantage of the anime style to do some cool speed lines like her haste-powers need. 8/10 good righteous avenger look.

Vraska, Swarm’s Eminence: Oh maaaaaan, I want to complain about the cartoonishly-young look and the weirdly-realistic background that makes her look composited in, but the artist really nailed that regal pose and took full advantage of her swirling snake-hair. This is definitely a Vraska both large and in charge. 7/10 you still get dinged for de-aging and also is she sitting or standing, it’s hard to tell.

sexual orientation. predominately panromantic demisexual. it isn’t so much so that theo is completely disinterested in sex (he’s got a perfectly good libido, thank you very much), he just doesn’t find himself sexually attracted to people based on physical appearance or initial impressions. instead he finds personality, intellect, and existing emotional attachment considerably more compelling. the idea of intimacy with somebody he’s not close with rather repulses him.

religion. he was raised roman catholic but converted to spiritual agnosticism when he was fifteen. he views that universal ethics and love are far more important than claims about any deity and trivialize the arguments supporting or rejecting such claims. to theo, it doesn’t matter which religion someone might follow, nor does it matter whether or not someone believes in god. what matters is what someone does, not what they believe. he has his parents’ full support in his switch even though the rest of his family practices catholism.

layer two: the story.

- so this is my baby boy, theodore kingsleigh and i love him sm ?? he usually goes by theodore, but on occasion people call him theo but he doesn’t care what people call him as long as it’s kind.

- theo was born in london, england to both loving and supportive parents named james and adriana. he lived there until he was six years old when his family moved to denver because his parents, who are both marine biologists, were located for work.

- his parents had him when they were both young.

- unlike his older siblings, theo wasn’t a bastard though. by the time he was born, his parents had already married.

- growing up, he had and still does, have a great relationship with his parents. with his childhood consisting nothing more than love and devotion from his parents, theo had nothing to complain about. his parents loved him dearly, whose pure heart and open-mindedness they helped to cultivate. they encouraged theo’s belief in extraordinary things and hoped he had carried it throughout his life growing up. his parents had always made him promise to have courage and be kind to others, for—as they explained to him—kindness has power, and that they would see him through all the trials that life could offer, in life and death.

- cancer/mental illness tw: when he was thirteen, his mother had been diagnosed with cervical cancer. upon hearing the news, theo’s whole world clasped. not only was he at a pivotal stage in his life where everything was changing and becoming more stressful ( becoming a teenager, starting high school, going through puberty ), one of the most important people in his life had be claimed by the deadly disease altogether. so many thoughts and feelings were going through his mind at the time, that he ran himself physically sick and had experienced his first panic attack. he has since been medically diagnosed with panic disorder. thankfully the cells on his mother’s cervix were diagnosed at precancerous stage and the doctors were able to treat it because it developed and spread. however, that didn’t and doesn’t stop theo from being in a constantly state of panic every time his mother so much as feels pain or coughs due to irrelevant reasons. the entire year had changed him and his family for a while.

- he’s the youngest of three children: natalia, christopher, and theodore. his old brother, who is three years older than him and their relationship, however, is a bit estranged. as much as he loves his brother and wishes they could see eye-to-eye, sometimes they have a tendency to butt heads often. whether that might mean your typical sibling arguments or full-on blown out fights, they just can’t seem to see get along.

- most people would describe theo as the altruistic. despite being in a world where there’s hatred and suffering, theo declares himself independent and strong-willed by remaining kind-hearted and self-loving, not allowing the bitterness surrounding his life to overtake him and morph him into someone as cruel as the world seems to be every day. he makes the most of his life by remaining optimistic of the possibilities of a brighter future. but besides that, he’s also witty and sarcastic. he is unafraid to stand up for himself when he feels he’s in the right–or at least, attempt to do so. and although he strives to contain his optimism aura, he can fall into fits of frustration and annoyance quite often.

- he’s also super quiet and shy. he loves to make friends but because of his quiet complex, he usually has trouble speaking up and making his voice heard. he tends to become flustered a lot too when he can’t express his emotions; which he has trouble doing anyway when he’s not flustered.

- theo is capable of enduing tremendous hardship. though he may not handle difficulty in the healthiest or best way, often repressing emotion, he mostly like emerges on the other side. he doesn’t know how to express his emotions in a diplomatic way, but rather fumbles it all up and starts to ramble. rarely opens up because of this.

- went to college at university of denver as an undergrad. graduated with a bachelors of science in human physiology as well as a bachelors of fine arts in illustration and photography.

- moved to settle for his masters and has loved the small town ever since.

- currently in medical school to get his M.D.

- to put it plan and simple theodore is an art ho ( he’s even going to school for it ). theo always loved anything artistic. even when he was little, he would go around with his disposable camera and take pictures of everything and then take to paper to draw of all the things he had taken pictures of as well.

- he’s like a hippie dippy child of the universe. no joke. no seriously, his place at home is full of sensual shit and art. it’s getting out of hand and somebody needs stop him soon.

- he strongly believes that art is an umbrella term that relates to expressing of oneself ( not just through photography and painting ) and that everyone has the freedom to express themselves however they please. because of his beliefs, he chooses to break gender roles like bread and wears whatever the fuck he wants because yolo.

- his appearance pretty much represents his hippie dippy lifestyle with him wearing all sorts of cute hipster shit. he’s clothes are v flow-y but don’t let that fool you. he doesn’t miss the opportunity to represent his upper-middle class within his style, so he does dress to impress, let me tell you ( he’s a fashion ho too ). his hair color changes sometimes too depending on his mood but it’s generally never too eccentric.

Ok so you had decided to get a tattoo

I KNOW GREAT START

Anyways

You had never gotten a tattoo before

But you really wanted one

You had been planning it for a while

You had decided to get a simple tattoo of a snake

It was stretched out but still had some curves in it

Like it was moving across the ground

Your friend had drawn it for you and you had fallen in love with it

So you had been researching tattoo artists

And you finally found one whose work you liked

Seo Changbin

He was an amazing artist

So you called his shop and scheduled an appointment

The day came and you went alone

Not wanting any kind of outside influence that could change your mind

You got to the shop and tbh you were a bit intimidated

I mean come on who wouldn’t be though

So you walked in and went to the desk

They told you to wait for a couple minutes because Changbin was finishing up the on his current client

And that’s when the yelling started

You couldn’t see anyone but whoever it was they were not happy

They were yelling about who knows what

Finally someone came around the corner and they looked mad

You watched as they paid for the tattoo and walked out

And then he came out

Seo Changbin had a short yet attractive frame

You were roughly the same height as him but he was super intimidating

He had a cutout t-shirt on and a pair of black ripped skinny jeans

He had a partial sleeve on his left arm and you could see through his jeans the tattoos that covered his left thigh

Dang he was cute

In like a tattoo artist kind of way

You were swooning at this point

He stood at the desk talking to the guy behind it who had introduced himself as Felix earlier

They seemed like close friends

He eventually turned and made eye contact with you but you looked back down at your shoes as quickly as possible

You could barely look him in the face

He walked over to you and asked if you were ready

You nodded your head and he motioned for you to follow him

You sat down at his desk and took out the drawing your friend had done for you

You handed it to him and he started to trace it

You sat in silence for a couple minutes before he started asking questions

“Do you want it black or something different?”

“Just black”

“Where do you want it?”

“On my forearm”

“This is your first right?”

“Yes. How did you know?”

He looked up at you for a moment before going back to the drawing

“I can tell. I’ve been tattooing for a long time”

“Oh yeah duh”

You let out an awkward chuckle and watched him work

“Why’d you come alone. I would think someone like you would bring in a whole horde of people”

“My friends all thought it was a stupid tattoo but I love it. I didn’t want any outside influence that could change my mind. So I came by myself”

“Smart. That is a big thing. You get what you want. It’s your body and you shouldn’t let your friends tell you what to get put on it. You know if people were more like you there wouldn’t be as many coverups. I hate doing coverups but now it’s a regular thing”

“Yeah”

You slipped back into silence after that replaying the conversation in your head

He finished the tracing and took you over to the table

You sat down and propped your arm up

He put the trace thing on your arm and asked if it was in a good place

You were getting it on your left forearm

You agreed on the place he put it and he got ready to start

You watched him get everything ready when you asked him a question

“Is there anything you would add to it?”

He looked at you for a moment before asking

“Do you trust me?”

“Yes”

He nodded and then got out a marker

He free handed some things around the tattoo but you looked away

You wanted to be surprised

He told you he was going to start and you braced yourself for the pain

And man did it hurt

Like a beotch

You sat with your other arm latched onto the side of the table

You were never good when it came to pain

You were trying to control yourself but you couldn’t stop the tears that started to form

You tried to turn your head so he couldn’t see you

But you were too late

“Hey are you ok?”

“Yeah yeah. I’m just not good with pain. I’m ok, keep going”

“We can take breaks if you need. You’re my last client. We can take as long as you need”

You nodded and told him you needed a couple minutes

He was about halfway done

You told him to finish it and the pain just got worse

You were trying to control your crying

You weren’t sobbing but the tears wouldn’t stop rolling down your face

You reached up and wiped your face for a moment

He looks up at you and you just nodded for him to keep going

“And we are done”

You looked down and you were completely blown away

He had freehanded a bouquet of delicate flowers that wrapped around the middle of it and you absolutely loved it

“What do you think?”

“I love it. I really do. I mean wow I don’t know what to say other than I love it”

You smiled at him

But why he did next surprised you

He reached up and wiped the remaining tears from your cheeks

You blushed under his touch and just looked at him with wide eyes

“You did really good. You were steady which was good. Now enough tears you’re too cute to cry”

He stood up and went to get the stuff to wrap your tattoo

He came back and explained all the aftercare stuff and then took you up front

Felix stood up and asked to see your tattoo

You showed it to him and started to compliment it

“It suits you”

“Thank you”

You paid and everything and then turned to look at Changbin

“Thank you for this I love it really”

“Hey its what I do. Doing it for cuties like you is just a bonus”

You blushed again

He really knew how to get you flustered

You said goodbye and left

You sat in your car for a moment trying to think of a way to come back and see the cute tattoo artist

A couple weeks later you decided to go back and show him your healed tattoo and hopefully get his number while you were at it

You walked in to see Felix sitting in the desk chair spinning around

He looked bored out of his mind

He saw you and jumped up asking how you were

He asked why you were here and told him you wanted to talk to Changbin about the tattoo and you told about how you kinda liked him

He wiggles his eyebrows at that and turned to go find Changbin

He looked back over at you as he left saying that you two would be a cute couple

You sat down and waited for the two to come back

Felix came back and asked you to follow him

He said that Changbin wanted to see you but was in the middle of something

So you followed him to the back

Changbin was sitting in a chair with his arm propped up on the chair thingy

He was tattooing himself

Which caught you off guard

You weren’t expecting that

You sat in the chair across from him and just watched him for a moment

“Hey What brings you back?”

“I just wanted to show you how it healed. I’m a bit confused and had some questions”

So you started talking and he answered all the questions you had

Then you asked him a question

“What are you doing?”

“Oh I've been adding to my sleeve every so often”

“Cool I didn’t think you could tattoo yourself”

“Do you want to try?”

“Try what? Tattoo you?”

“Yeah. It’ll be fun come on I’ll get you ready”

So you got a pair of gloves and put them on and then sat back down

He showed you how to work the tattoo gun and then showed you what to do

He wanted you to tattoo a small flower that was outlined on his arm

So you started tattooing

You were nervous but your hand was steady

When you finished you let out a big breath and leaned back

He looked at your work

“Hey you did really good. It looks really good. Wow you just keep surprising me”

You smiled at him and watched him start to finish the rest of what he had outlined

He started to flinch when he went over certain spots to put in color

“Are you ok?”

“Yeah it just gets tender when you go over it several times”

You decided to take a bold step and reached out and grabbed his free hand

He looked at you for a moment before squeezing your hand and going back to tattooing

He kept a firm grip on your hand the entire time and would squeeze it when he hit a sensitive patch

He finished and got up to wrap his arm

When he came back he held out his hand to you and pulled you out the chair you were in

“So are you going to give me your number or are you just going to leave again?”

You smiled at him before you answered

“I think I’ll give you my number. But you have to promise to take me out if I do”

“I think I can do that”

004. what is there to say about the US that hasn’t already been said? so we’ll skip that and talk about how the city I live in, Portland, is the hipster capital of the nation. we put birds on everything, if you’ve ever seen Portlandia it’s not even a joke anymore that’s exactly what it’s like here, people will queue for hours in the rain just to get some doughnuts, and the public transit in the city is great but in the suburbs I think they personally hate me because they never run to time. vegan/vegetarian restaurants are plentiful, there are actually trees everywhere, and while I gripe about it to plenty of people, it’s actually a pretty good city to live in.

005. favourite color: dark red, although really it’s a tie with like 4 other colors / fruit: mango / season: fall/autumn

006. favourite books + writer whose writing style you admire the most: Hunchback of Notre Dame, Frankenstein, Dracula, Dante’s Divine Comedy, Lord of the Rings... basically classics for days. I love Tolkien’s writing, but more his world building. That world building game thooo.

007. what kinda music do you listen to + any fave bands / musicians: mostly classical/instrumental, but I love a lot of different genres. pop, punk, rock, metal, jazz, honestly just about anything. my fave bands are probably Panic! At the Disco and Imagine Dragons, love me some Lady Gaga... seriously I could just keep going.

008. what are you doing for a living / what are you studying?: I studied theater in college, hoping to act professionally. sadly, almost a year ago I got hit with a major illness and had to leave work, so I’ve been unemployed, but I’m trying to get back on my feet. 👍

009. what’s your dream occupation?: acting fo sho, especially if I can move away from theater and do film. I’d also love to be a full-time writer/novelist and artist.

011. coffee, tea or hot chocolate?: all of them, but I basically run on coffee so mostly that.

012. dream holiday destination?: I’d actually love to do a tour of Europe at some point, that would be so cool.

013. the thing you’re most proud about yourself: I did a year of study abroad in England my 3rd year of uni, and was alone with no one else from my school for half that time. it was a big adjustment but it was also the best year of my life.

014. tell us a bit about your family!: they’re wild. I’m the baby of the family by 15+ years (big accident). I have siblings but I basically grew up an only child? so that’s been interesting lol. my sisters both have kids who are now in their teens and it’s bizarre for me. my dad and my stepmom are pretty crunchy-granola people but they’re awesome and very supportive.

015. how long have you known your closest friend?: good grief it’s been like... 5 years? almost 6? if you’re only counting how long we’ve actually been friends. the first time we met was like 7-8 years ago, but we didn’t spend a lot of time together until we were roommates senior year of college. and then we just became inseparable. she’s my platonic soulmate. <3

016. superpower you’d like to have?: flying for sure, it would make the fact that I can’t drive to save my life a lot more bearable XD

017. celebrity you’d like to meet?: basically anyone from the MCU, especially Chis Evans, he seems like an awesome human being.

018. guilty pleasures: I don’t really have any anymore, at some point I just stopped caring if other people thought the stuff I liked was weird. I suppose I do feel a little guilty that even though my Netflix watch list is full of stuff I’ve never seen, I just keep rewatching The Good Place over and over lol.

019. pet peeves: chewing with your mouth open drives me insane in like less than 2 seconds. anything repetitive. you know how on mac computers the icons at the bottom of the screen will jump repeatedly? that makes me see red, idk why exactly it just does.

020. do you have any hobbies?: video gaming and writing are the big ones these days. I hate how adult life makes it hard to focus on reading, but I’m hoping I can pick that up again.

021. where would you like to live in the future?: a big house in the highlands of scotland, far away from all the nearest neighbors, with a room dedicated to a custom pipe organ that I’ll just play randomly at 3am so people in the closest village awaken to Phantom of the Opera in the cold night and wonder what the hell is happening. #liveyourextralife lmao

022. tell us a story about a thing that recently happened to you!: I think I mentioned this, but I was getting ready to leave the house on Christmas and fell down the stairs. my foot just went right out from under me and I landed hard on my butt. the bruise was the size of a hand and super dark for days. also ended up breaking a little cubby our cats like to hide in. so that was fun XD

where they get married: highkey i picture it on a rooftop (kinda like the icky wedding of ou.at) just bc defining moments of their relationship have taken place high above the rest of the world.

when they get married ( ie what time of day, what month and season etc. ) it was the late afternoon and these fools probably have a june wedding wow.

what traditions they include ( do they get married under a chuppah and crush a glass, garter toss, ‘something borrowed, something blue,’ etc. ) they follow the something old, something new, etc tradition bc artie just really likes it. trick is big on luck so they try to pay attention to the shit that causes bad luck but good luck trying to keep them apart before the wedding - at least she won’t be in her dress.

what their wedding cake looks like: i have literally no regrets about this being their cake.

….who smashes cake into whose face: trick def smashes a cake in her face first and she retaliates. then they kiss and ollie gags real loud.

who proposed to who first: he proposed. there was careful scheming & ollie and jaime helped with the theatrics.

who walks down the aisle and who waits at the altar ( or neither ): artie’s walking down the aisle & he’s waiting at the alter.

what their wedding dresses / suits / other look like: suit & dress.

what their wedding colour scheme is and what sort of decor they have: black & white. mainly because their normal color schemes (his being green & hers being red) look like christmas and looks tacky as a wedding color scheme. that being said, picture this kinda thing but black & white bc it’s extra af, could work on a rooftop and something ollie/jaime would arrange for them. and it fits them.

what flowers are in the bouquet ( if applicable. bonus: what do the flowers mean? ): pink peonies. they’re artie’s favorite flowers.

Have you ever experienced unrequited love? Yes. In your current or most recent romantic relationship, do/did you feel as though one of you settled? Not at all. Again I’m so late with this, I wish life stopped treating me that bad so I could read your fics sooner… anyway, that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy them as always. Speaking of that the 2 last fics you posted were simply cute and fluff and awesome!!

First I’m going to talk about “family style” fic

I am not American either, so I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, but reading fall fics and Stony (pre-winter) fics are really nice, but this one has a personal favorite thing on it! Besides the fact you added Scott, Stephen and Tchalla (Tchalla is more frequent, but Stephen and Scott are one of my faves and I’m so happy to read about them)… You described that scene (?) point of view of Steve when Tony is laying on the leaves and that other scene where Steve has the clear blue sky on the background on Tony’s point of view… I simply love it because I could imagine the palette! I think is an artist thing, but I could feel the love between them and nearly touch those colors (??)

The funny thing and maybe my second (and 3rd fave thing) was the description of 2 peculiar dishes XD Where Peter tells everyone in advice about May’s meatloaf to “give it a try” (how can I take that Peter?! OMG XD) and the reason why Steve had to do the mashed potatoes! The hilarious part about that was the very moment where Steve noticed he wasn’t in the kitchen preparing the potatoes… Right then, we enter directly into a fluff cuteness

But I totally love the fact and I will always love that you portrait the Avengers as a real family, is my favorite thing, since I can see Steve and Tony keeping them together (like a mom and dad), is simply awesome… Still you add Pepper and Happy too whose are an important part in Tony’s life (*coff coff plus I love your Pepper more than the MCU one coff coff*)

Now I’ll talk about “Chamomile, Lavender, vetiver and cedarwood” fic

I love this fic! I totally love it! I had never read anything like this before and is full of cuteness and is so sooooft!! I usually read fics where Steve takes Tony to bed, where he’s SO exhausted to walk to bed that Steve has to take him to bed constantly (not to complain, is one of my favorite headcanons) but reading this time the other way around made me feel SO happy

I loved that Steve was complaining but cooperating all the way to their bed XD and I loved to read how Tony treat Steve with the perfect environment for sleep, the special scent, tugging him on the bed and rubbing his feet gently before to do so, was really my favorite part of this fic

And I’m not forgetting about the end XD!! It was unexpected and pretty funny!! XDD I couldn’t stop laughing about it… I just hope Steve and Tony could have their movie night some other time

sexual orientation. predominately panromantic demisexual. it isn’t so much so that luca is completely disinterested in sex (he’s got a perfectly good libido, thank you very much), he just doesn’t find himself sexually attracted to people based on physical appearance or initial impressions. instead he finds personality, intellect, and existing emotional attachment considerably more compelling. the idea of intimacy with somebody he’s not close with rather repulses him.

current residence. boston, massachusetts.

religion. he was raised roman catholic but converted to spiritual agnosticism when he was fifteen. he views that universal ethics and love are far more important than claims about any deity and trivialize the arguments supporting or rejecting such claims. to luca, it doesn’t matter which religion someone might follow, nor does it matter whether or not someone believes in god. what matters is what someone does, not what they believe. he has his parents’ full support in his switch even though the rest of his family practices catholism.

layer two: the story.

- so this is my baby boy, luca rosario and i love him sm ?? he usually goes by luca, but on occasion people call him either luke, luki, or leo. but he doesn’t care what people call him as long as it’s kind.

- luca was born in san paulo, brazil to both loving and supportive parents named jeremi and mariana. he lived there until he was six years old when his family moved to boston because his parents, who are both marine biologists, were located for work.

- his parents had him when they were both young.

- luca was also born out of wedlock, so by the time his parents decided to marry two years after he was born, his parents had already made the decision to give him his mother’s maiden name even though his father’s surname is polish.

- growing up, he had and still does, have a great relationship with his parents. with his childhood consisting nothing more than love and devotion from his parents, luca had nothing to complain about. his parents loved him dearly, whose pure heart and open-mindedness they helped to cultivate. they encouraged luca’s belief in extraordinary things and hoped he had carried it throughout his life growing up. his parents had always made him promise to have courage and be kind to others, for—as they explained to him—kindness has power, and that they would see him through all the trials that life could offer, in life and death.

- cancer/mental illness tw: when he was thirteen, his mother had been diagnosed with cervical cancer. upon hearing the news, luca’s whole world clasped. not only was he at a pivotal stage in his life where everything was changing and becoming more stressful ( becoming a teenager, starting high school, going through puberty ), one of the most important people in his life had be claimed by the deadly disease altogether. so many thoughts and feelings were going through his mind at the time, that he ran himself physically sick and had experienced his first panic attack. he has since been medically diagnosed with panic disorder. thankfully the cells on his mother’s cervix were diagnosed at precancerous stage and the doctors were able to treat it because it developed and spread. however, that didn’t and doesn’t stop luca from being in a constantly state of panic every time his mother so much as feels pain or coughs due to irrelevant reasons. the entire year had changed him and his family for a while.

- he has brother, who is three years younger than him, named tomás. his relationship with his brother, however, is a bit estranged. as much as he loves his brother and wishes they could see eye-to-eye, sometimes they have a tendency to butt heads often. whether that might mean your typical sibling arguments or full-on blown out fights, they just can’t seem to see get along. sometimes people believe they aren’t actually related or that they’re half siblings because when his brother was born, he took their father’s last name.

- most people would describe luca as the benevolent. despite being in a world where there’s hatred and suffering, luca declares himself independent and strong-willed by remaining kind-hearted and self-loving, not allowing the bitterness surrounding his life to overtake him and morph him into someone as cruel as the world seems to be every day. he makes the most of his life by remaining optimistic of the possibilities of a brighter future. but besides that, he’s also witty and sarcastic. he is unafraid to stand up for himself when he feels he’s in the right–or at least, attempt to do so. and although he strives to contain his optimism aura, he can fall into fits of frustration and annoyance quite often.

- luca is capable of enduing tremendous hardship. though he may not handle difficulty in the healthiest or best way, often repressing emotion, he mostly like emerges on the other side. he doesn’t know how to express his emotions in a diplomatic way, but rather fumbles it all up and starts to ramble. rarely opens up because of this.

- to put it plan and simple luca is an art ho. luca always loved anything artistic. even when he was little, he would go around with his disposable camera and take pictures of everything and then take to paper to draw of all the things he had taken pictures of as well.

- he’s like a hippie dippy child of the universe. no joke. no seriously, his place at home is full of sensual shit and art. it’s getting out of hand and somebody needs stop him soon.

So its no big official order or anything, I just like these people and their art respectively and I don’t want anyone to be like ‘oh they’re better than them’ because ones above the other.But heres a small list of a few of em I can think of off the top of my head.@official-ipreHes not a pig popular artist which surprises me because his art is really nice? I enjoy Alex as a person too. His art has developed from when I first followed him to recently and I love everything he draws. Hes got a nice style + a nice sense of humor and a lot of quality aus. I occasionally reblog his stuff when I see it on my dash because I want people to know just how nice his art is. I enjoy it and others should to. His expression in drawings and colors have gotten so much better and developed so much, I’m really proud of him with where hes gotten in his art style. I hope he keeps goin strong.@clouffyAnother person I’ve been following for awhile whose art style has developed from when I first followed them to now. Its amazing the changes people go through with their art and I think theirs has really done just that. You can tell its still theirs yet it looks so different now. And Clouffy is yet another person with a good sense of humor. The color choices for their art are always so pretty as well and like their lines are either really sketchy or really smooth and its always pleasing to look at.@richardgoranskiLet me tell you a thing about Connor. Connor here was one of the first people I followed in the DEH fandom and boy can you tell how his art has changed. Connor isn’t afraid to explore with colors or expression and its really nice. He can go from using light soft coloring to bright shiny coloring is a matter of drawings. Not just that but Connor is just the friendliest person I’ve met here on tumblr before and always makes me feel welcomed into anything. Hes like a dad friend of sorts. Its nice know a person with that kinda personality. Hes very passionate about what he likes and draws and the way he gets excited about his drawings is pretty adorable tbh.@acorn-evanThey don’t post their art often and I’m not even sure if Acorn considers them self an artist but I do. I’ve seen their actual art style and it develop anytime they do share a drawing and I can say that I’m proud of where they’ve gotten themselves with it. Even if they feel sometimes they can’t draw at all or their art isn’t the best I tend to encourage them because I for one think their art is pretty amazing and can really go places if they tried to explore it more often. They tend to use nice soft colors on their drawings which makes the art they do make very pleasing to the eye, which is always good in my opinion. Really wish they would draw more often.@transboyjaredI haven’t known Jared for very long but I can sure as fuck say that they have indeed made development in their art and that their art is absolutely amazing in every way. They are a mod with me on @ask-bot-jared and their art is so smooth yet sharp its always interested me. They shared a drawing of their first Jared they drew to now recently in a discord and I was just so blown away with how much their art changed how soft it got it was really cool to me. They’re yet another person with a grate sense of humor and are a lot of fun to talk to and joke around with on late nights. Their animatics they’ve made, while mostly little fun videos, are also really cute.@bi-evanI’ve known this artist for awhile and their art is really super adorable yet very detailed depending on what they draw? And I find it really cool how much time and effort they put into the tiny details of drawings and even the drawings that don’t have a lot of detail on them. Here is a Equestrian Yes She's Riding No I Don't Know When She'll Be Home Tee Shirts little poem I wrote I would like to share it with all of you who love horses as much as I do I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it for the love of horses this earth is filled with animals of various species and kind but there is one among them that is special in my mind an animal whose very existence helps to prove that there exists a creator in the realms above the magnificence of a horse adds testimony without a doubt that the authors of the bible knew what they were talking about for such a majestic creature could not simply exist without a designer a creator we cannot easily dismiss there are those who might disagree with me but let me share my opinion with thee I have watched in awe these creatures of yore let me relate why these animals I adore horses have been used by man for centuries as transport for warfare work entertainment and sport lately they have been called upon to assist those whose mental and physical disabilities persist the heart of a horse often varies in size of all the land mammals they have the biggest eyes it will not stop running if you urge it to it will keep on going till it’s heart bursts in two the height of a horse is measured by hands tradionally at 14 2 hands they often stand at four inches a hand they stand quite tall one can be injured if they take a fall ponies are taxonomically the same as a horse the main difference is their height of course if under 14 2 happens to be their height they are called ponies not horses downright horses are multi colored and diverse their beauty and strength matches anything in this universe temperamental yet they can be trained to be gentle and kind with the human loads they often carry horses are not inherently brave as some might think but with the right training from the battle they will not shrink their riders can include man woman or child the experience leaves all who does truly beguiled at an equestrian show they exhibit such grace and charm prancing and strutting around they cause no harm in a race they are known for their stamina and speed ladies dream of a knight in shining armor riding a white steed horses are described based on their age I m told a foal is a horse less than one year old a colt is male horse under the age of four a mare is a female horse four years older or more a yearling is between one and two years old a filly is a female horse under four worth its weight in gold a gelding faces castration at any age a stallion is a male four years or older with no castration at any stage treat him well and he will be loyal to you it is said trust him for he sees more than you his eyes are at the side of his head his sense of smell not as good as a dog but better than ours it plays a key role in their interactions and analysis of odors with a good sense of hearing they are truly blessed but certain noises can contribute to their being stressed they have a great sense of balance due to proprioception an unconscious sense of where the body and limbs are without deception from 300 breeds one can safely choose the right one to suit your needs or personal views ride or walk canter or strut pace or gallop they are ready believe it or not so about horses there are so much I can say you see thank you for allowing me this opportunity I hope that in some little way you would agree that these majestic creatures are awesome and their creator praiseworthy rudolph lalmansingh.
