Woodworking is a timeless and rewarding craft that has been practiced for centuries. Whether you are a professional woodworker or a hobbyist, having the right tools in your workshop is crucial for achieving quality results. While there are endless options available on the market, not all tools are essential for every woodworker. In fact, investing in the right tools can save you time, money, and frustration in the long run. As a professional woodworker myself, I have learned the importance of having a well-equipped workshop, and through years of trial and error, I have curated a list of essential DIY woodworking tools that every woodworker should have. In this article, we will discuss the top tools that are vital for any woodworking project, their purposes, and how to choose the right ones for your specific needs. From measuring and cutting to shaping and finishing, these tools will not only make your woodworking projects easier but also help you achieve professional results. So, whether you are just starting or looking to upgrade your workshop, keep reading to discover the essential DIY woodworking tools that will take your craftsmanship to the next level.
Quality power tools for precision.
One of the key factors in producing high-quality woodworking projects is having precision tools that can handle the task at hand. Quality power tools are essential for achieving precise cuts, smooth finishes, and overall professional results. When it comes to woodworking, investing in top-notch power tools is a smart decision that will not only make your projects easier and more enjoyable but also save you time and money in the long run. With the right tools in your workshop, you can ensure accuracy and precision in every step of your woodworking process.
Robust table saw for versatility.
One essential tool for any woodworking workshop is a robust table saw. A table saw is a versatile and powerful machine that allows you to make precise and clean cuts on various materials, including wood, plastic, and metal. With its adjustable blade and fence, a table saw is ideal for both simple and complex cuts, making it a must-have tool for any DIY woodworking enthusiast. Whether you are building furniture, cabinets, or other projects, a high-quality and reliable table saw is crucial for achieving professional results. It is a worthwhile investment for any woodworker looking to elevate their skills and create impressive pieces.
Reliable cordless drill for efficiency.
Another essential tool for any woodworking workshop is a reliable cordless drill. This versatile and efficient tool allows for easy drilling and screwing without the hassle of cords and outlets. With a cordless drill, you can work on projects anywhere without being limited by the length of a cord. Look for a drill with high voltage and multiple speed settings for maximum efficiency and versatility. A durable battery life is also important to ensure your drill can keep up with all your woodworking needs. Make sure to invest in a quality cordless drill to save time and effort on your woodworking projects.
Essential hand tools for precision
Another essential hand tool for precision in woodworking is a high-quality set of chisels. These versatile tools come in a range of sizes and shapes, making them perfect for carving and shaping wood with precision. Look for chisels with durable and sharp blades, comfortable handles, and a variety of widths for different cutting needs. Additionally, a good set of hand planes is crucial for achieving smooth and precise surfaces in woodworking. Look for planes with adjustable blades, comfortable grips, and sturdy bodies to ensure accurate and efficient planing. These hand tools, along with a reliable cordless drill, are must-haves for any woodworking workshop and will help you achieve professional-looking results on your projects.
Versatile jigsaw for intricate cuts.
Another essential tool for any woodworking workshop is a versatile jigsaw for intricate cuts. This handheld power tool allows for precise and intricate cuts in wood, making it a valuable addition to any project. With the ability to adjust the blade angle and speed, a jigsaw is perfect for cutting curves, angles, and intricate designs. It is also lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced woodworkers. Invest in a high-quality jigsaw and take your woodworking projects to the next level.
Sturdy workbench for stability.
In addition to a versatile jigsaw, another essential tool for your woodworking workshop is a sturdy workbench for stability. A sturdy workbench provides a flat and secure surface to work on, ensuring accuracy and safety while using power tools. It also allows for clamping materials in place and provides a sturdy base for sawing, drilling, and sanding. When choosing a workbench, look for one with adjustable height and a strong, durable construction. Investing in a quality workbench will greatly enhance your woodworking experience and allow you to take on more challenging projects with confidence.
Durable miter saw for accurate angles.
In addition to a sturdy workbench, having a durable miter saw is crucial for achieving accurate angles in your woodworking projects. This power tool allows you to make precise cuts at various angles, making it a must-have for any serious woodworker. Look for a miter saw with a sturdy and reliable construction, as well as features such as a laser guide and adjustable bevel and miter angles for maximum accuracy. With a high-quality miter saw in your workshop, you can take on more complex projects with confidence and precision.
Efficient dust collection system for cleanliness.
In order to maintain a clean and safe workshop environment, an efficient dust collection system is a must-have for any woodworker. Woodworking can create a lot of dust and debris, which not only affects the cleanliness of your workspace but can also be a health hazard if inhaled. An efficient dust collection system eliminates the need for manual clean-up and ensures that the air in your workshop is free of harmful particles. Investing in a quality dust collection system is a smart choice for any serious woodworker looking to maintain a clean and healthy workspace.
Reliable router for decorative details.
When it comes to creating decorative details in woodworking projects, having a reliable router is essential. This versatile tool can be used for a variety of tasks, from shaping edges to creating intricate designs. Look for a router with a powerful motor and a variety of speed settings to accommodate different wood types and project needs. Additionally, make sure to choose a router with a sturdy base and comfortable handles for ease of use and precision. With the right router, you can add beautiful and professional-looking details to your woodworking projects.
Safety equipment for protection.
In addition to a high-quality router, it is important to have safety equipment in your workshop to protect yourself while working with power tools. Safety glasses, earplugs, and a dust mask should all be considered essential items for any woodworking project. These tools will not only protect you from flying debris and loud noises, but they can also prevent long-term health issues from exposure to sawdust and other particles. Don't overlook the importance of safety when setting up your workshop, as it is crucial for both your short-term and long-term well-being. Invest in reliable and comfortable safety equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable woodworking experience.
In conclusion, having the right tools is essential for any DIY woodworking project. By investing in high-quality tools such as a table saw, drill, and sander, you can ensure that your projects will be completed efficiently and with professional-looking results. Don't forget to also have safety equipment on hand, such as goggles and gloves, to protect yourself while working. With these essential tools in your workshop, you'll be well-equipped to take on any woodworking project with confidence and success. Remember, a skilled craftsman is only as good as their tools, so make sure to invest in the best for your woodworking journey.
FAQ
What are the essential woodworking tools that every DIY enthusiast should have in their workshop?
The essential woodworking tools that every DIY enthusiast should have in their workshop include a table saw, a miter saw, a drill press, a router, a sander, a chisel set, a tape measure, a square, a marking gauge, and a set of clamps. These tools are necessary for cutting, drilling, shaping, sanding, and measuring wood accurately. Additionally, having a sharpening stone, safety goggles, ear protection, and a dust collection system are important for maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workshop. With these tools, DIY enthusiasts can tackle a wide range of woodworking projects with precision and efficiency.
How do I choose the right type and size of saw for woodworking projects?
When choosing a saw for woodworking projects, consider the type of cuts you'll be making and the size of the materials you'll be working with. For general woodworking, a versatile and common choice is a circular saw or a table saw. These can handle a variety of cuts and are available in different sizes. For more intricate or detailed cuts, a scroll saw or a jigsaw may be more suitable. Additionally, consider the size of the projects you'll be working on. If you'll be working with larger materials, a larger saw with a longer blade or wider cutting capacity would be necessary. Ultimately, choose a saw that best suits your specific needs and the types of projects you'll be undertaking.
What are some must-have measuring and marking tools for accurate woodworking?
Some must-have measuring and marking tools for accurate woodworking include a tape measure, a combination square, a marking gauge, a marking knife, and a pencil. These tools are essential for measuring lengths and angles, marking precise lines and dimensions, and ensuring accurate cuts and joinery in woodworking projects.
Are power tools necessary for woodworking, or can I achieve good results with hand tools alone?
Power tools can certainly make woodworking more efficient and precise, but it is possible to achieve good results with hand tools alone. Hand tools allow for a more hands-on and traditional approach to woodworking, and many skilled craftsmen still prefer using them. However, power tools can save time and effort, especially when it comes to tasks like cutting, shaping, and drilling. Ultimately, the choice between power tools and hand tools depends on personal preference, the specific woodworking project, and the desired level of efficiency and precision.
What safety equipment and protective gear should I invest in for woodworking projects?
When it comes to woodworking projects, it is important to invest in safety equipment and protective gear to protect yourself from potential hazards. Some essential items to consider are safety glasses to shield your eyes from flying debris, ear protection to prevent hearing damage, a dust mask to filter out harmful particles, and a sturdy pair of work gloves to protect your hands from sharp tools and splinters. Additionally, a well-fitting apron or shop coat can help protect your clothing from stains and potential accidents. Remember, investing in the right safety equipment is crucial to ensuring a safe and enjoyable woodworking experience.

I was busy for a while and my tools were collecting dust. Tried to build a toolbox but I got a snag. Die to lack of foresight of the build procedure at this point, there came a moment where I had to make a cut down the legnth of a board; which is difficult to do with a jig saw. The lack of confidence and the not really wanting to spend what little free time I had on practicing redundancy, I just let it stand half complete for couple weeks
Until one saterdag I took it apart and used the wood to rather just make a planter box since by now I can whip those up quickly. What was grindimg my nuts tho was the fact that working with pallet Wood, nothing you make is ever going to be straight unless you put alot of work into wood process. I dnt want to spend time learn processing yet. I want to build. But everything I've built so far, using pallets, is not coming out the way I envisioned in my head.
When I mentioned my frustration to my mentor carpenter he said that I should not expect a straight or flush product when working with wood of this quality. This is after all a recycle project.
I made a nice planter box but I wasn't happy. It wasn't straight. I coils get all the nookies and crannies when varnishing....it's just....uuurg...
So I asked my mentor if we could go to the hardware store to purchase some wood. I wanted to build something, anything, using wood that was atleast straight.
I dnt know sizes of woods. I can appreciate a good grain and for now.that's about it. Strength and application is beyond me at this point.
So I show him a picture I saved on Pinterest. Simple coffee table. Make legs. Add top. Simple. I could see myself assembling this piece of furniture. At the shop we chose out some lengths, and ask the guys there to chop up into sizes that'll fit in the car...
And then I simply went to work. Assembling my little coffee table. ..gave it a sand and a single coat of varnish and some stain....
And then 5 hours later this happened:
Tumblr media
I've been in utter disbelief since I first stepped back to look at the first coat of varnish. It's not even done. I just had to stop and come show you what I had created.
There's is still lots to learn....but wow have I learn a metric fuck ton already.
Excited for the road ahead.
PS. I got a grinder and a sanding attachment.
Off on holiday from work and back home. I'll be busy.

Moving above the Underworld (4/?)
Ellie just moved into a new flat. Introducing herself to her downstairs neighbor with a cake she did not realize what the future held for her and him. And what had an asshole coworker to do with it?

Part 3
Another two weeks later, her boss called Ellie into his office. “Remember the villa you were at? The customer called and ordered for you to get your ass there and repair something you must have messed up the last time. Pack your stuff. And if you don´t manage to do so, consider yourself fired.”, he sneered mad as hell. She grabs her tools and leaves with the driver sent to fetch her. He did not say a word to her, so they drove silently. With every passing minute, her anxiety rose and when they finally drove through the gates, she was a mental wreck. “May I ask what I broke?”, she whispered to the man who greeted her. He was big, bald, and tatted everywhere. “No. Now enter that room and strip to your underwear. I will search you while someone else looks through your stuff.”, he grinned, an evil glint in his eyes and Ellie shuddered. She felt dirty when he was done and at the edge of tears with how strung her nerves were.
“Got her Boss. Searched and confirmed clean.”, the man with her announced and motioned for her to enter the room. It was filled with around a dozen men that screamed “I will kill you if you even think about looking at me not the right way.” Next to a grey-haired man behind the big office table stood her neighbor, looking mighty pissed in their direction.
“You are one of the woodworkers that build this office?”, the man at the desk stated, his voice and demeanor demanding submission and respect. He must be the one in charge. “Yes, Sir. What is wrong if I may ask.”, she asked with a gulp. “There is a hidden compartment built into the desk. I believe you are aware of that.”, he continued raising an eyebrow ever so slightly. “Yes, Sir. I was the one who built it.” “Good. I cannot open it and need what is in there NOW. The Table was expensive and I am sure you can get to it without destroying my purchase.” “Ye-Yes, Sir. I only need some room and someone to help me. It might take half an hour to an hour.”, she admitted, hoping he would be alright with that testament. “Better get to it then.”, he ordered, and Ellie grabbed her tools and made her way to the table in question, “And don´t even think about looking at what is inside. Or it will have consequences.” A threat she was sure to remember. Taking out all the drawers and the two doors she worked towards the hidden compartment. Loosening one screw after the other the woodworker was almost at her goal when she noticed the reason for the trouble: The drawer had wedged itself against a small branch that had risen due to the working of the wood. It should not have happened and she frowned, that was a beginner's mistake, and she was no beginner. Not able to dislodge the drawer with the way it was stuck, she instead chose to unscrew the slide it was moved on. She had just unscrewed what should be the second to last screw on either side when the whole drawer fell onto her. The Bastard Solomon hadn´t assembled it the right way. Ellie had to crawl into the desk to be able to reach the drawer, and so it had emptied itself on her body. Now she was covered in two guns, three magazines, a lot of money, and two bags. One with something white and powdery in it, the other one with dried leaves. She had not been able to realize what had just happened when she was pulled out by her legs. “It´s free, sir.”, she mumbled not knowing what else to say, pretty much it was a shock she later believed. The Boss just quirks an eyebrow at her, almost amused. “I´ll take care of her. Make it look like an accident.”, the one who had searched her before stated. Panic immediately burned through her veins and her eyes flickered to everyone she ´was able to see. “Sad but necessary. I fear we cannot allow you to leave after you saw what you saw. I really like your work though.”, the boss hummed, his eyes cold, “Get her to a secured room. We will take care of it after business is finished. She still has to put my desk back together after all.” He had just waved his hand, when two of the men stepped forward, grabbed an arm of her each, and escorted her back to the room she had been staying in. It felt like hours she had to wait sitting on the bed under the never-blinking eyes of the two guards until she was called back to the office. Ellie felt like fainting. This time only half of the men were there. “You may repair my desk now.”, the man in charge ordered and she got to work. Within the hour she had repaired the table. All the while trying to keep in the tears of fear that threatened to fall.
“Your table is repaired Sir.”, she whispered with a small hiccup, not daring to look anyone in the eyes. “Good. I hope it will not misfunction again.” “It should not.”, Ellie admits flinching with the innuendo of what it meant for her: Death. “Good. I assume you understand that I cannot let you leave like this after you saw what you saw. After you saw our business.”, the boss stated, his voice neutral and hands resting on the desk between them “Yes, Sir.”, she mumbled. “Good. Now sign this paper.”, he orders sliding her a stack of papers that were open to where her signature was needed. She hesitated. Why did they need her signature? “What do you think this is?”, he hummed after a few seconds without reaction on her side. “A testament? Suicide note? Something like that.”, Ellie whispered “Why would you think that?” “The -the one that searched me- said, said he would make it look like an accident earlier.” “He did. But no. It´s a marriage contract. You will marry my best and most loyal enforcer, move in with him, give him an heir, and leave your job. Everything you do will be under surveillance and if you even think about telling anyone about what you know. Your husband will take care of you. You will do what you are told when you are told.”, he continues with a stern voice, “Now sign before I do make my men kill you.” With trembling fingers and tears running down her face, Ellie signs her fate. “Good. Captain take your new wife to your room and make this official. You have the next two days off.”, the boss clapped his hands with a huge smile on his face. A strong and giant hand closed around her upper right arm and she followed without resistance or looking at her new husband. He led through the villa, past ´her´ room, up a flight of stairs, and along a corridor. The room she was pushed into was simple but not sparse and held in dark colors. A giant bed stood against the right wall, opposite two rooms that must lead towards a bathroom and closet. A sob shook the woman´s body as she was pushed into the adjoined bath and handed a towel. Her new husband had ordered her to shower without addressing her. If she was glad about it or not she wasn´t sure.. The bathroom itself was decorated in the same style as the bedroom. A black bathtub stood in the right corner of the room, opposite to it was an open walk-in shower. The toilet was situated behind a small screen and opposite the also black sink and large mirror. Not daring to take too long and anger him in the process she hurried to get out of her work clothes and into the shower. Who knew what he would do to her otherwise? Ellie might not have been involved with crime at any time in her life but was an avid watcher of true crime and knew that enforcers were the most brutal men within the underworld. She feared his reaction, she had not shaved her legs in a few days (her long trousers covered her legs most of the day either way) and for months not between her legs, she was single after all and why should she spend time and effort for something that would bring her nothing apart from work and itching for the first few days? And then there was her body itself. She was not obese, but she was not thin either. Her work had left her with some muscle, muscles that were covered by some fat that gave her a small tummy and some wider thighs and arms. Anxious and wrapped in the offered towel she returned to the bedroom not daring to look up from the floor. What if her new husband was a sexual sadist?
“I- I am finished. Wh- what do you want me to do, Sir?”, she announced, fear evident in her voice. But she was greeted by silence and she thought she might have been left alone. However, her hope was crushed when soft fingertips moved along her shoulders, exposed spine, and neck. Surprised Ellie jerked together and clutched the towel even more to herself. Soon the fingers were exchanged for lips while hands moved to her hips, guiding her forward towards the bed. At the bed, he moved his hands and pushed her body forward so her Backside was exposed and no longer covered by the towel. With one hand between her shoulders to keep her from moving away he moved the other one between her legs and played with her pussy. Silently she sobbed into the covers and her husband stopped for a split second before continuing with playing with her nether regions. His fingers circled her clit, moving between her folds and dipping in and out of her wet and wetter becoming chanel. Slowly she felt an orgasm approach and soon her breathing hitched and her body trembled in ecstasy. She had just come around her unknown husband's fingers. There would be no time for her to relish in that feeling, just seconds after she was finished she felt his dick enter and he started fucking her. A whimper left her. Not because he was brutal in how he was taking her, but because she simply did not want him to do so. However she did not want to die, so having sex with someone she did not know or want was a better option. Maybe one day she could enjoy her husband taking her. Her new husband had even waited for her to adjust to him before fucking until he came. He did not leave her then. No. He stayed within her as deep as possible and played with her until she came around him once more
Ellie felt him lean forward to place a soft kiss between her shoulders before stepping back and leaving her in the process. She wondered what would happen now. Only to jerk together when his hand returned between her legs, this time taking the towel she was still wearing to the overly sensitive area. He was cleaning her. When he was finished, she noticed him stepping back and waited for any new orders. But again no orders were given verbally, instead, he threw her a shirt to wear to bed as well as a pair of his boxers. Ignoring the fact that she was being watched Ellie got dressed in the offered clothes and slipped beneath the covers that were held open for her. Still not daring to look at her new husband she thanked whoever was listening that he did not force her to. Laying there she tried to stifle her still ragged breathing. She was not alone in bed after all and did not want to anger her new husband because he could not sleep. There was no need for her to worry though: almost understanding he drew circles against her back before pulling her against his chest in a reassuring manner. It had something comforting to her and after hours of mental and physical stress, exhaustion took over and she finally fell asleep. When Ellie awoke the next morning the sound of a running shower was the first thing she heard. Washing away her hope that it all had been a nightmare. Of course, she had not been that lucky. Staying in the warm comfort the covers were giving her, she thought about everything that had happened the day prior and decided to take a look at her husband earlier than later. Pushing unwanted things back to do later was never a good idea she had learned a long time ago. And so, when the water stopped running and the door opened not too long after, Ellie took a deep breath and looked up. There in the open doorway, with only a towel around his hips and water still running down his muscled body, stood her former neighbor, now husband. He was part of the underworld, an enforcer at it, and now married to her. What did she do wrong for this to happen?

your blog makes me super happy cuz i just picked up a carving kit and started fiddling with it! do you have any tips for taking care of it? also, do you think a regular utility knofe can be used for carving
I started in December of 2022 with just a knife (Flexcut Roughing Knife) and some basswood. The 2 biggest things to pay attention to are blade sharpness and the type of wood.
You'll want to make sure your knife is sharp by stropping often. I frequently get into the zone and then wonder why I'm struggling with cuts. It is always because I've been whittling for 20-30 minutes without stropping the blade.
Basswood is the best wood for whittling as it is soft enough to cut with a knife, but hard enough to hold its shape. I just ordered packs of 1"x1" basswood off Amazon. I hate giving Amazon money, so I've recently switched to ordering 2"x2" stock from https://www.roughouts.com/wood.html
I followed along with YouTube tutorials to learn the basics. Start simple, it's easy to jump into the deep end, get overwhelmed and frustrated.
Doug Linker is a great YouTuber to watch for gaining beginner knowledge. Besides simple to follow along tutorials, he has videos on knives, painting, stropping, wood, etc.
As for the type of knife, I've slowly acquired other tools (detail knives, gouges, v-tools, etc.) but I just my roughing knife for 99% of the cuts I make. I've seen videos where people use pocket knives and box cutters, so I know they can be used. I just haven't tried them.

irritatingly common misconception about woodworking is the assumption that hand tools are somehow the affordable alternative/“beginner” version of power tools. it’s a very weird behavior to see constantly, beginners will turn their noses up at DIY projects the instant it mentions using a table saw or something like that because “obviously it’s not meant for people just starting out” when a table saw, for starters, should be considered a must have for any woodworker, not just including but ESPECIALLY for hobbyists. they can run you a good penny if you get a good one but what you’re paying for is reliability, efficiency and a tool you will be able to use for decades, and with that in mind, the price is not an unreasonable barrier to entry. not saying there aren’t any price gouged tools out there because There Are, but generally you get what you pay for.
it’s arguable but generally power tools ARE the beginner thing and hand tools are the finer skill to be learned through experience, and even can be potentially be MORE expensive than some bargain power tools, if you look anywhere besides a big box store. sure you can find a hand saw at home depot for a fraction of the cost of a circular saw but it’s cheap for a reason. and you’ll be replacing it a lot if you use it regularly because (this is gonna be mean) if you’re someone who thinks hand tools are first step beginner things then you’re probably not someone that knows how to sharpen a saw blade
the whole thing would be like if there were a very vocal group of people who were very insistent that drills were snobby and elitist rich people things, all because they think they’re not ready to move up from using screwdrivers yet

Okay @kredena-dark you have unlocked an unskippable rant!!! :D
Some of this is just me explaining stuff, so don't mind that- actually idk I'm just info dumping rn, it explaining everything in full detail, but still explaining :P
Idk how long it'll be so- CUT TIME
💚Okay- posca pens!! Fuckin love those!! It's a liquid marker of sorts and there are thinner nib ones and thicker nib ones. There's also a very limited amount of color options. Which include pastel like colors, black, white, gray, silver, gold, basic color saturated colors, forgot if the green is more of a forest green or a more vibrant green tho :P
They can be so smooth and solid looking!! Which is what I like about them!! It's like markers but better!! :D
Really wanna get every single color for myself instead of only using them at school :/
💚 Woodworking has been going really great so far!! For woodworking 1 I took last year, it was introducing all the machines, taking safety tests on those machines plus ones for how to be safe in the workshop. It's where I made a box and a shelf were the drawer is now stuck in, which sucks, plus a phone holder with 2 holes for pencils.
Woodworking 2- very nice~ I'm working on another shelf, this time with 3 drawers!! And hopefully they won't get stuck :P. We also make a bowl, which I'll fully fully work on once my shelves done!! We actually learned a new machine for this!! It's able to make the wood rounded, so we can make a bowl and practice making the wood rounded.
💚Ink is a very nice tool for traditional art in my opinion!! You can put a blob of sorts and shape it however you want, then once it's dry you can use a sharpie or a pen or a fineliner sharpie pen to make something out of it :D
You can also just use the line pens and sharpies by themselves and create different values with thicker or thinner lines and I have shaky hands!! Which can really make your lines feel more organic in a way!! Also really helps me feel loose drawing!! But then sometimes it's rather annoying, like with digital art and when I want to make smooth straight and curved lines!!
💚 Speaking of digital art~
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW THAT'S BEEN GOING FOR ME SINCE I'VE STARTED DIGITAL ART!! :D
I think it was..... Less than a year ago? Around that long ago :P
Anyway- I've made myself my own Sona and it's great!! My hair color and just having a pixie cut hair works quite well with the cat ears!! And all the markings and just- everything that's gone into making them has been so great~
And the art apps I use!! It took a few tries with multiple other art apps and looking up which would work for a phone and what was free to use. But I found Infinite Painter and HiPaint and they are so great!!
I found Infinite Painter first off, and it's worked splendidly and hasn't crashed or glitched on me at all!! And the brush options are so nice!! It's a great beginner digital art app, it doesn't overload you with so many brush customizations!! Even though there still are plenty of customizations, you don't have to adjust them if you don't want to!! You can just change the opacity and size of it if you want!!
And then there's HiPaint!! I REALLY like the brushes this app has, it's actually so much better than Infinite Painter!! And you can customize the stabilizer!! I currently have it a 20%. I actually thought I'd have it at some higher percentage since my hands shake, but it's quite comfortable at 20%!! I could maybe slide it to 21 -25% , just for a bit more smoothness. And- this app has glitched out once before and it wouldn't let me do anything at all!! So I tried restarting my phone a couple times and that didn't work so I uninstalled it AND I FRICKIN LOST MY PROJECTS ON IT AJSJDJFJFFKDJF that fuckin sucked, but luckily I already posted the doodles I did on there and I screenshotted the sona sketch I did, but I did loose my linework and the start of me coloring it :/. But I did redo the linework and finished it all and it looks very nice!! So didn't really lose anything permanently!! It hasn't glitch again so that's good~
💚hmmmm I'm running out of what to add!! Might just leave this as is~
Idk I wanna show this as soon as possible so I can talk more about this with you Kredena!!
(this is mainly for Kredena, but to anyone else reading, I hope you like this all!!)
Ye you know what idk what else to add, probably all my head cannons and such for every fandom I've ever been in, but I don't even remember all of that rn so- this is it I guess, maybe at least for now!! :D
💚Update: BANNER IDEAS FOR MY BLOG HERE :D
I have some very nice ideas!! There's one with my sona wearing my in progress green scarf!! There's another with a winter setting with a certain way the trees would look that I really wanna try doing!! There's a flower pattern idea for spring!! I also wanna do one with a pattern with better pumpkins and fall leaves and candy corn!! For summer I'd probably do a Sona drawing with a sunny background with my sona wearing shades and, OH OH MAYBE STANDING IN AN OCEAN!! OH I LOVE THOSE CONCEPTS SO FRICKIN MUC AJSJDDJFJajsjsjdjsffjdjAHSHDajsjdhASJDHDjajsdj!!
