Do you guys remember that episode where Vlad puts a million dollar bounty on Danny and a bunch of ghost hunters come to town

Danny gets sweet revenge by luring vampire hunters into town with Plasmius as the target.

Now, Vlad’s not in any danger. Most anti-vampire measures aren’t effective against him. Even getting staked and/or beheaded is unpleasant, but not catastrophic.

What's really annoying is when a couple of vampire hunters start to suspect Vlad Masters is also a vampire. Then there's no escape from the scrutiny. And if it comes down to it, it's a lot harder to explain how a stake to the heart doesn't kill him as a supposed Regular Human Man.

Minsoo laughed much more boisterously than usual. She was not sure how this had happened exactly. One minute, she was buying alcohol from a demonic vendor. Next, she was talking to a stranger about how terrible bosses could be sometimes. Somehow, she managed not to blow her cover, but she was far tipsier than normal. Whatever that beverage was, it had more alcohol than the glass of wine she was used to having.

She was now walking with her new friend. She stared at the building in front of them. Normally, she would be utterly terrified. However, she was so intoxicated, not much bothered her.  “You didn’t tell me we were going to the castle. Am I dressed alright? They won’t behead me for this, right?”

WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS / ACCEPTING. / " time and a place for slaughtering, " sen agrees, as if she's ever observed customs like ' restraint ' and ' mercy. '

she shrugs this moment of hypocrisy off, takes a knife, and begins to saw away at the true soul's neck tissue. her sorcerous majesty does not serve her here. no, instead, it is her complete and utter lack of physical strength by her side as she tries, valiantly and pathetically and entirely in vain, to collect nere's head.

it becomes clear this isn't going to work. sen the stubborn ignores this clear futility entirely. should nobody intervene, they will be there all night.

    it is a way to stay in top form, she decides. even if most day to day life here is quiet and mundane, anything could strike at any moment and with only one of her swords back Musashi felt that she needed to adapt and adapt quickly. hence why she is here, still in costume, and taking part in slaughtering many a monstrous creature. (plus the money is good and she could always use that for more udon.) true, her costume added little benefit or advantage to her opponents, but a challenge was always fun.

        blade slicing clean through undead flesh, the head of yet another vampire falls to the ground, the body stumbling a step or two before it follows suit. it is with a nudge of her foot that she rolls it the side to join an already small pile to turn in later. wiping the blood off on her outfit, Musashi barely takes another step forwards before she halts. it is the strange sensation of being watched that comes over her and logic says to assume it is another vampire ready to jump her yet something about it feels....off. different.

   wariness courses through her, yet she keeps the composure she’s had all night. turning to where Musashi felt the stare coming from, she rests her sword against her shoulder, peeking into the shadows and speaking with a cheery voice. “ If someone is out there, you don’t have to hide! I don’t bite-- promise!”

Excited to share the piece I made for @ardynzine! I drew Ardyn as Saint Denis. I find the imagery to be quite powerful and fitting.

I hope you'll forgive me for doing a very different bear comic for this spooky season! I spent way too long on it, even though I'll never be able to group it with the others. Just like when I was experimenting with format last year xD
