We’re extremely thrilled to announce the full list of participating writers and artists for Dark Horse: An Otabek Altin Zine!

While we have seen many wonderful submissions among the 213 we received in total (57 writer applications and 156 artist applications!), this list shows the ones who stood out the most among the rest. 

Of course, we cannot emphasise enough how grateful we are to everyone who signed up, and we hope you can continue to support us by helping spread the word about the zine, cheering on the participating artists and writers, and showing your love for Otabek by making more art and writing more fic and living your life as your heart desires.

new moon of march 2019

aku hanya ingin bercerita tentang hari ini, dimana esok hari mulai ditulis di lembar baru jurnal kehidupan sehari-hariku. iya, pergerakan bulan seperti poros bagiku. rasanya akhir-akhir ini kegiatanku selalu serasi dengan keadaan dan kabar langit malam. bahagia💫

new moon telah tiba, di maret ini pikiran ku bercabang banyak. hiruk pikuk dunia mulai menembus akal-akal. kemarin kalau kuingat kembali rasanya campur aduk sampai sekarang. banyak gelisah dan takut tapi pelan-pelan kusembuhkan dan mencari solusi.

pagi tadi, bangun dalam keadaan pening karena malamnya mendedikasikan otakku untuk bekerja keras. entah kenapa 'to do list' yang kubuat semalam rasanya ingin kumuntahkan dan hanya ingin menikmati hari dengan leyeh-leyeh. apalagi pagi ini disambut hujan deras dan udara dingin bertambah mentahlah semua 'to do list' ku.

lalu semua orang pergi dari rumah untuk berpetualang. ayah ke hutan, bunda dan adik ke goa. haha enggaklah, mereka beraktivitas dengan jadwal masing-masing dan aku sedang tinggal di rumah. dan.................... saatnya keluar rumah menembus hujan demi sampai pada ibu warung—memburu indomie rasa ayam bawang dua bungkus:).

setelah habis nikmat 'hujan-hujan makan indome ayam bawang 2 bungkus di rumah sendirian' aku mandi dan banyak melamun.

siangnya ada hasrat untuk menata sarang yang penuh ketidakteraturan dan sampah-sampah masa lalu—LOH?

akhirnya ku tata satu-satu🌺pelan-pelan tapi bahagia🌺melihat bungagbunga kering🌺menyimpan sebagian di buku🌺membiarkan sebagian lainnya tetap terpajang🌺menata buku-buku ajaib dan berbagai macam zine dari peri penulis🌺mengenang foto-foto di map bunga🌺membaca surat-surat lawas yabg berharga🌺ah rasanya aku jadi utuh lagi🌺

setelahnya menulis beberapa bait rasa tertuang dalam aksara di jurnal lama yang masih kupakai sampai saat ini tapi sedikit lagi habis🌻lalu menyelipkannya di belakang kaleng kaca bekas selai yang ku sebut vas🌿

dan sore tiba masih bersama hujan. udara tambah dingin justru aku bahagia dan semakin semangat. aku masak sayur terong balado dan cumi-cumi, bunda cuci baju, adikku tidur saat ayah pulang kerja🍆

bercuat dan menulis di akun Twitter baruku tantangan #rasaksara🍆menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan di platform tanya jawab—ask.fm🍆senang sekali! hari ini aku tidur tanpa keringat🍆💖

⭐ 七夕 ⭐ Star Festival ⭐ “I wish for Beka’s happiness.”

Here’s the full version of my main zine piece for @otayuriseasonszine! I imagined them visiting Yuuri and Viktor in Hasetsu during the off season and going to the festival at the bottom of the Ninja Castle. Beka is enjoying some takoyaki while Yuri hangs his wish on a bamboo stalk.
