Any headcanons regarding Gil/Ben with a submissive Gil?

I keep my blog (kind of) safe for work due to the age range of followers, so this won't be super dirty, but warning for sexual themes

- Ben has so much stress with people trying to challenge him as king, whether they want the throne for themselves or don't respect his age, so he appreciates times with Gil where he can be totally in control and not fight for it

- Gil is so happy and eager to please that he lets Ben do whatever he wants

- growing up on the Isle, Gil is used to hard and dirty things, so the first time Ben showers him with gifts and praise and sweet talk, Gil just melted

- but the benefit of growing up on the Isle is all the monsters Gil was exposed to, and not just monstrous humans like his father. He saw Maleficent with horns and Ursula with tentacles and Jafar with snakelike features. Gil is never afraid of the beast in Ben, has never seen him as a true monster, just as a beast

- this also leads to weird rambles from Gil about who would win in a fight: Uma as a sea witch or Ben as a mad beast. Ben just lets him talk through all the scenarios to his heart's content because Gil rambling is so endearing

(- Gil secretly thinks that Harry, as a human, would win against both of them, but he doesn't want to hurt Ben or Uma's feelings)

- Gil's whole face lights up whenever Ben says anything nice about him, whether it's in the bedroom or not, so Ben goes out of his way to praise Gil for everything

- Gil wants to make Ben just as happy, so he tries to compliment Ben at every chance he gets, especially as Ben cares for him after a long night. Gil will say how safe he feels with Ben and how Ben is so gentle and caring

Bad dad Beast is bad and Disney should feel bad for implying it.

“Did you deserve it?” The words are a slap that send Ben rearing back, sputtering. He gasps “Dad!” too loudly over Gil’s harsh breathing and his own thundering heart. His dad doesn’t even look at him, just raises a quelling hand, shushes him gently. Gil somehow curls even tighter in on himself. “Screwed up,” He mumbles, so, so quietly. “Was my fault.” “No,” Ben rushes to reassure. “No, no--“ “Probably.” “Dad!” His father still doesn’t take his eyes off the shaking shape of Gaston’s son. Ben can hardly breathe around the sudden, angry buzzing in his chest, prickling up his throat and behind his eyes. He knew his parents weren’t thrilled with Gaston’s kids being taken off the isle but for God’s sake, Gil is six months younger than Ben! He’s a kid. His dad can’t be serious! It takes a second, through the urge to yell and cry and demand an explanation, for Ben to realize his dad kept talking right over his interruption. “Teenagers mess up,” He’s saying. “Teenage boys especially, and fathers are always too hard on our sons. So. Maybe you crossed a line, broke a rule you should have known better than to break. Maybe he was right, as your father, to discipline you. That isn’t what I asked, though.” Gil looks... lost. Confused and young and unsure like Ben feels. He looks small, and a guy his size shouldn’t be able to pull it off but wonders never cease. He looks fragile. He looks easy to break, and that’s how Ben’s dad touches him, when he reaches out to rest his fingers on a knot of scar tissue twisting around Gil’s arm. Slow like he’s waiting for Gil to pull away, careful like he’s handling something delicate. “What I asked,” his dad whispers, “Is if you think you deserved it.” And Ben understands. “You’re a sweet boy, Gil. I don’t know what you did that made him so angry. Maybe it was something heinous, something no father could be expected to forgive. I doubt it, though. I think more likely you screwed up the same way every teenager screws up. Came home past curfew, flunked a test. Skipped out on some chore or responsibility to spend time with your friends. Fell short of expectations that were probably a little too high to begin with. I don’t know, though. The only person in this room who knows for sure what happened is you, so I’m asking. Were you really so far over the line?” His dad leaves one scar to touch another, the crooked, healed-wrong bends of Gil’s fingers, the line slicing through one temple and down his cheek, the broken bump of his nose. He grazes fingertips across old injuries and Gil shakes and shakes. “Did the punishment fit the crime?” He pushes. “Did you deserve this?” Gil makes the most -- the most awful sound, small and sad like they’re hurting him. Ben’s hackles are still up from when he thought his dad was -- from -- from before he understood the question, it’s hard for him to breathe out the fierce, protective anger and trust his dad to do the right thing, and that sound isn’t helping. Shouldn’t they be... gentler? More careful about this? Gil’s cheeks are wet and he’s trembling all over and other than that one, tiny noise of misery he’s silent, only his shaking breath and tearful eyes to show he’s crying. It’s awful, for someone to cry so silently. Ben wants to cry, too. “Nnnn,” Gil says, and only that. “Nnn-nnnnn.” Ben’s dad shuffles closer at the same time Ben does, waits for Ben to finish curling up around Gil’s back before he rests his hands on both their heads, strokes down two sets of messy hair. Gil flinches a little at the touch. Ben tries to hold him steady, tries to hold him as he looks and sounds like he’s shaking apart. “Can you say that out loud for me?” Gil only shakes harder. “Nnnn.” “Almost,” His dad says. “Almost there, just a little more.” Gil sniffs. Coughs. “Nnn -- nn.” Like a bridge giving out under a weight. “Nnnnnnnn.” Like a drill touching glass. “Say it.” “No.” Gil sucks in a gasping breath and whatever barrier he’d been leaning on crumbles, sends him collapsing forward to press his head against his knees. “No, no,” He sobs. “I didn’t do it on purpose I didn’t mean to piss him off he -- he didn’t have to -- fuck. I didn’t deserve it. I didn’t fucking deserve it.” In the next second Gil is out of Ben’s arms and into his father’s. His dad pulls Gaston’s son against his chest and holds him there like a kid barely into double digits, rocks him back and forth, lets him cry all over his suit jacket. “I know,” He soothes. “I know, I know.”

Awalnya warungini sih  biasa aja, tempat mangkal sopir bemo gitu, tapi sekarang jadi terkenal banget. Bahkan masuk ke daftar 150 restoran paling keren di dunia versi TasteAtlas tahun 2023! Mak Beng berada di posisi ketiga lho! Posisi pertama ditempati oleh Figlmüller di Austria, dan posisi kedua diduduki oleh Katz's Delicatessen di New York, Amerika Serikat. Warung Mak Beng didirikan oleh Ni Ketut Tjuki dan suaminya, I Putu Gede Wirya (Nyoo Tik Gwan), pada tahun 1941. Awalnya mereka jualan makanan biasa dan jajanan, kayak warung makan pada umumnya. "Sambel itu memang yang paling jagoannya. Yang kedua, baru supnya. Tapi sambelnya Mak Beng, yang paling juara!" kata Dodit, pemilik Warung Mak Beng generasi ketiga itu. Dulu sebelum terkenal buat turis lokal dan mancanegara, warung makan ini belum jadi restoran yang spesialis masakan ikan kayak sekarang. Berdiri Sejak Tahun 2014 Warung ini udah berdiri sejak tahun 1941 dan jualan ikan laut goreng, sup kepala ikan laut, dan sup sayur. Mak Beng masuk ke dalam daftar restoran paling keren nomor tiga di dunia versi TasteAtlas. Menu andalan di Warung Mak Beng tuh sup kepala ikan dan ikan goreng. Tergantung stoknya, ikan yang dipake bisa tongkol, kakap, tenggiri, atau ikan lainnya. Semua ikannya hasil tangkapan nelayan lokal di Sanur dan sekitarnya, guys! Tapi karena deket pantai Sanur, biasanya yang paling sering dipake itu ikan jangki hasil tangkapan nelayan. Sup Pake Bumbu Tradisional Sup ikannya juga gak kalah enak, jadi pelengkap yang pas buat nongkrong di Warung Mak Beng. Supnya dimasak pake bumbu-bumbu tradisional Bali yang bikin rasanya bener-bener enak dan gak amis sama sekali, guys! Tapi kalau mau lebih nyaman dan gak terlalu antre, sebaiknya datenginnya di luar jam paling ramai, yaitu antara jam 2 siang sampai jam 7 malam. I headcanoned Gil as a plant lover right from the start, and his love of fruit in D3 really like only confirmed it? So like. Gil had a garden on the isle. It was a sparse, utilitarian thing, only root vegetables and some hearty grains. At first he grew in the few sunlit patches around Gaston’s cabin, but when he joined Uma’s crew he built containers right on the deck of the Lost Revenge, using compost he made. Because of Gil, Uma’s pirates were one of the only groups on the isle with access to any kind of fresh produce. When he comes to Auradon he’s amazed at how many different kinds of plants there are. And they’re everywhere! All the time! There’s enough sunlight to grow all kinds of things and you can just! Put them in the ground!! And get food! And sometimes flowers?? And sometimes the flowers are food and how cool is that??! Ben doesn’t know the first thing about plants, and it amazes him how someone who seems so goofy and kind of... easily distracted, lets say, can know so much about such a complicated topic while making it seem so simple. Botany makes sense to Gil, like how knot work and hunting and taking care of the ship make sense to him. Ben gives him permission to do whatever he wants with a pretty sizable chunk of unused lawn at Auradon Prep, and by the end of the year the whole area is a food forest overflowing with fruits and vegetables and edible flowers, and that gives Ben an idea.  He collaborates with Gil, and then with Evie, to start a Feed The Free program, setting up massive community gardens where kids from the isle can have free reign and total access to grow whatever they want, both as a way to provide some of the food they never had and as a way to help them settle in to Auradon. Before long it spirals into a city-wide and then nation-wide standard for almost every city in Auradon to have a community garden available for less fortunate families or for people in urban areas who lack the space to be able to claim a plot and grow whatever they want. Gil becomes the face of the program, because he’s easy to like and he explains things so simply that even the most unskilled gardener can learn from him. Uma and Harry couldn’t be prouder.
