part of me wants Nebulossa to win Benidorm Fest because nothing is more hilarious than failing to qualify for UVPSM semis and then proceeding to represent Spain two years later

Eurovision works in mysterious ways sometimes... from last year's rejects to winners, they just swapped the countries they were trying to represent.

People praising the song chosen for ESC because it's SO radical and feminist, and it reclaims the word zorra [whore] for the first time ever, gives power to women, it's an anthem against sexism, blah blah blah.
Bitch, Las Vulpess did it better 40 years ago:

Haven't seen his semi performance but I don't get why St. Pedro is a contender for the win. To me there's nothing special making this song stand out, it's just a nice ballad but nothing more

Eurovision Fact #541:
On February 3rd, three Eurovision 2024 contestants were announced after they won their national finals.
After Melodi Grand Prix, Norway announced that the band Gåte and their song "Ulveham" would represent them in May.
Spain crowned Nebulossa the winner of Benidorm Fest, and as a result the duo will be singing "Zorra" in Malmö.
Finally, Malta will be sending Sarah Bonnici and her song "Loop" after her win at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest.
