A fairytale-inspired beret

I would like to mention a beret inspired by ABC’s television series “Once Upon a Time.” I have tried this pattern by Leslie Dalton titled “Once Upon a Time”-Inspired Dreamy Beret” several years ago, and it remains one of my favourite hats. It is a romantic choice, while it remains a neutral and wearable fashion statement.

Hello! Do you have any tutorials or brushes I could buy? Your art is amazing

Not really, sorry! I almost never use custom brushes - all my artworks use rasterized vectors (essentially a dynamic fill tool to quickly block landscape shapes) and a couple basic pen tools for finesse. It would definitely save me time and effort to start exploring and/or creating my own brush assets but that's a task that's on the other side of my current work slump 😅

Not Deer

Many of you may know that I wear many hats at The 7th House club in SL. Well, we have been doing amazing Halloween parties and events all month long, including a photo contest! It was an easy decision to use this fantastic backdrop from FOXCITY, Spinner's Crypt, at Kustom9 for my contest photo. When FOXCITY creates scenes for us, they literally think of EVERYTHING. From the materials to the spoopy spiders that you can rez and have crawling all over, right down to the slight sway of the spider webs in the pixel breeze. Y'all, they even include a gorgeous windlight, which I did use for this image. Spinner's Crypt would even be great to use as a piece of a creepy build! The giant moon in the back makes it all the more aesthetically pleasing. To go with the vibes set by Spinner's Crypt, I decided to rez out "Larry" as I named him, officially known as the Hauntbeing from Clover. This scary guy is an epic addition to any fall build! He interacts with anyone who comes into his area and if he doesn't like you, trust me when I say that you will be the first to know. For my own look, I wanted to be the scariest thing hanging around Spinner's Crypt. And really, is there anything as terrifying as a "not deer"/skinwalker? To achieve this look I started out at { aii & ego } with their Demonic Touch set that gives your fingers extra length and a major creep factor! I also grabbed this amazing mask and fur called The Watcher by { aii }, and I could not be happier with the textures, fit, and gorgeous choices on the HUD! To finish it off, I swooped over to Hallow Manor and snatched up this creeptastic skin by BeSpoke, called Monster of Famine. All-in-all, this ended up being one of my favorite pictures I've taken to date! It has everything I hoped to achieve: creepy vibes, discomfort upon looking closer, and an eerie feeling that lets you know you have stumbled into the Darkside. Yes, it's true, they do have cookies here!
