“Sarah,” you said softly, with a gentle rasp at her door, “may I come in?” When you heard her ‘yes’ through the wood, you pushed the heavy material open with Sevika and the other knights at your toes. You had mentally prepared for this moment, expecting lots of glares and snotty comments, and to no surprise, that was exactly what you got. "Sarah, this is Steb, Loris, and Sevika. You have proven that this is the step we need to take to get you into place, and I’m acting on it. I expect respect.”
“All of you can see yourselves out.” She responded, not looking up from her spot at her desk. She was writing something, most likely a letter to another neighboring kingdom. “They’re not staying.” She followed up when the group didn’t leave.
“I don’t remember when you were appointed Queen.” You quipped. She let out a harsh breath and turned towards the four of you. “They will each have an eight hour shift, meaning you will have a knight on duty all day, every single day. It doesn’t have to remain this way if you can prove that you’ve gotten your life together, but you’re nowhere near that point.”
“This isn’t fair,” she gritted out, teeth clenched and jaw locked in anger.
“Life isn’t fair. Loris is your starting knight, as of ten minutes ago. You are the princess of Piltover, and I expect you to start acting like it.” With that, you, the knights, and Elora left the room, Loris taking station outside the door. “The schedule is posted on a script in the gym. While one of you is posted at her door, one of you will be training, and the other will be off the clock.” You spoke to Steb and Sevika as you walked throughout the halls. You had already given the three a formal tour, but you took them back to the training grounds regardless to present the schedule. “Knights will go in the order of Loris, Steb, Sevika, and you’ll go from knighthood to training. That’s all, and you’re free to go to your stations.”
You didn’t wait for a response from either of them, instead turning on your heel and walking back towards your writing chambers with Elora. You couldn’t help but let your mind wander to the way Sevika’s arms looked in her uniform, or the way she glanced over at you while you spoke.
Tumblr media
Sevika would never tell you to your face that you were right. It had only been three weeks, and sometimes she wondered if it was three weeks too many, remembering her life before taking this godforsaken job. Chasing Sarah around was like trying to grab a bar of soap with wet hands - she was quick to slip away, and hard to hold onto when she was there. Trying to wrangle her in was a full time job in and of itself, let alone the addition of security, training, sleeping, and eating. She'd been working double, covering for the other guards as they weren't nearly as experienced as she was. And for you, it was almost torture.
You saw the woman everywhere, especially when she was off duty. It was like she followed you around, and showed up everywhere just to draw your attention away from the things that needed it. She would be in the same hallway as you, walking in the same direction, and happen to strike up a conversation that left you blushing. She was in the kitchen when you wanted a snack, making the whole room laugh, and in the stables helping the coachmen when you wanted a ride. She watched you mount and caught your eye as the horse carried you out of the stable. Everywhere you went, she was.
Though your mind argued, it wasn’t difficult to find yourself attracted to Sevika. Her high cheekbones, dark eyes, wide lips. It all drew you in. But nothing in the world could compel you to act on the attraction, because it was nothing more than that. But, you did enjoy the sight of the curve of muscle in her arm, and the way the material of her pants fit around her thighs.
However, nothing beat the way she looked in uniform.
“Sarah, this is all wrong,” you huffed angrily, watching your younger sister stumble and trip over her own feet as she attempted to ballroom dance with her partner. The boy wasn’t particularly fantastic either, but with a girl in stilettos stepping on your feet and on her own dress, you couldn’t imagine it was that easy to look good. “The ball is around the corner and you’re making your official debut. Whatever this is, it needs to be fixed by the next time I see you.”
It was not on your doc for today to sit through Sarah’s etiquette lessons. She had done them  biweekly since she could walk, and there was no reason she needed a chaperone now. But, because you had put so much time and effort into planning this ball, Elora insisted that you saw the progress she was making. It was important that she wooed the crowd, seeing as she was your successor.
And, well, you used the word “progress” lightly.
Sarah seethed, stomping like a child having a tantrum. “If you’re so sure that I’m doing it wrong, why don’t you do it? Since apparently my sister is the best ballroom dancer on earth, let’s all watch her!” She was being sarcastic, and gestured around the room. The few people that were in there ducked their heads, as if not to embarrass her or you. Well, aside from Sevika. She was looking down and laughing, and you glared at her with daggers in your eyes. “Oh and look, dick rider Sevika is laughing too, why don’t you dance together? Match made in heaven, huh?” You shot up.
“Sarah, reign it in,” you spoke harshly, grabbing her forearm in a tight grip as she flailed. “I will show you how to do it once. After that I expect you to figure out how to do it.” You marched onto the ball floor, looking over at the boy Sarah was dancing with a grimacing.
Before you could join him in a dance, there was a tap at your shoulder. You spun around quickly, and you were immediately met with Sevika. She was smirking as she bowed before you, reaching out to take your hand. “May I?” You looked over at Sarah who encouraged you to take her hand, and to your dismay, you did.
Her hand was warm around yours as you took it, and you could feel each groove of her palm beneath your soft fingers. She tightened her grip around you as she stood, mechanical arm slipping around your waist. You were irrationally tense, so much so that it was almost difficult for you to pull your arm up and drape it over her shoulder.
Subtly, she pulled your body against her own as the music began. Chest to chest, her mouth fell just above your ear, and you listened to her breathing pick up. You spun delicately, trying your hardest to focus on your footing. This wasn't the time to embarrass yourself, especially after all the talk you made earlier.
“A bit tense, aren't we, m'lady?” She whispered, lips grazing the shell of your ear as her head cocked to the side ever so slightly. Blush found your cheeks swiftly, and you were sure you got even more tense. “Relax, you're doing great.” You pushed her back ever so slightly, just enough to look at her.
“Cut it out,” you whispered through gritted teeth. The song sped up, and she quickly spun you out of her arms, pulling you back in so that her thick, muscled arm was wrapped around you and her mech hand was tight around your hip. Your back was pressed to her front, the strong muscle gracing you as her heart pounded against you.
“Cut what out?” she chuckled deeply. “For someone who insisted they were so good at dancing, I have to say you're very tight, my queen.” You forgot all of your steps as your brain replayed Sevika insisting that you were tight. “You're doing so good, sweetheart. Need you to breathe.” A chuckle chased her words.
The song ended and you pushed away from her, storming out of the room without even so much as glancing back. Elora was outside, and watched you as you slammed your back against the wall and practically panted. You placed a hand over your heart and a hand on the wall, doing what you could to find your breath again.
“My queen, are you okay? Did something happen?” Elora rushed to you. “Shall I ring the doctor?” You shook your head, unable to meet her eyes. It felt almost sinful, what you just allowed yourself to indulge in. Disgusting, even.
“No, no. I'm going to take the rest of the day for myself. I'll see you at dinner.” You made your way back to your chambers with haste, slamming the door behind you and falling onto your bed. You grabbed one of the numerous pillows and pulled it to your chest as you balled yourself up, screaming into it as your body relived the moments over and over again.
“I'm sorry about that,” Sarah said to Sevika, who was looking at the door as if her gaze would make you reappear. “She's not normally so… jumpy, but I guess you have that effect on her. I also don't think that she has danced with someone since her own etiquette lessons. You didn't do anything wrong.” Sarah laughed to herself and Sevika turned to face her.
“She's been courted, no? Wouldn't that give her a reason to dance?” Sarah's laughs thickened, leaving Sevika to confusion. Sevika scowled, rolling her eyes. “You can't just start a conversation and then laugh at me, princess.”
“I can do as I please,” she shrugged, “however, since you're so kind, I've found it in my heart to tell you that my sister doesn't let suitors court her. To my knowledge, no man or woman has laid hands on her since our father died. She's a prize, in the world of royalty. Kingdom after kingdom have sent suitors, and they all get rejected at the door.” Sevika spent a moment in silence, her mind putting together pieces that were previously lacking.
This was why the queen had no interest in her faux advances. Not only was she unaware of flirting, but she also refused to be courted. This opened something in Sevika, and she was determined to find out why you didn't allow for suitors.
“I see,” Sevika nodded, pensive. “What does she do when the kingdom hosts balls? It’s all she’s been talking about for weeks.” Sarah sighed, as if this topic was strenuous.
“She keeps herself busy. Makes conversation with heads of houses and other leaders. If, by some miracle, a list to dance develops, she sees herself out before she’s had an opportunity to dance with them. As I said, she doesn’t allow herself to be courted, and I doubt she ever will. She’ll die alone, and a virgin.” Sevika chuckled, imagining you at the royal ball approaching, turning down kingdom princes and princesses.
“Nobody with a face like hers dies alone, or a virgin.” Sevika glanced down at her hands, the same hands that held you against her just minutes ago. She didn’t like you, not romantically at least. You weren’t exactly kind to her, and she had been sleeping with a girl at the brothel for several weeks now. She just enjoyed the way it felt to have a body pressed against her own.
However -
The thought of courting you did wander through her mind. Jumping through hoops to impress you, prove to you that, contrary to your belief, she could handle a woman like you. Do anything you wanted, protect you with her life. In an ideal world, if she were to wind up with you, she would be the Queen’s Guard, and be with you all of the time. In true Sevika fashion, Sarah’s comment regarding your purity status had her mind spinning, but she pushed those thoughts away.
But it wasn’t like that, and it couldn’t be. It was easy to tell that you were going out of your way to avoid finding a suitor, and she was your sister’s knight. Therefore, all factors decimated that idea. And, of course, she doesn’t like you.
Tumblr media
It took you the rest of the day to build up the confidence to apologize to Sevika. You paced your room intermittently (in between freaking out), planning how you would approach her and what you would say. Her training shift ended after dinner, and you decided to seek her out in the knights’ common room since she wouldn’t be busy. Though, the ‘what to say’ part was still up for discussion in your mind.
Dinner came and went, and you decided that dwelling on what to say wasn’t going to get you anywhere. Unfortunately, it would have to be an in-the-moment thing, or else the moment would pass, and you wouldn’t be able to apologize to her, and that was far worse than embarrassing yourself in front of her once (or twice, if you included every single interaction that happened between the both of you today).
Truth be told, you had never seen the knights’ common rooms. Your knight had no reason to bring you down here, and you had no reason to be driven to the rooms. There were several of them, organized into what knights guarded who. They were like burrows; your knights had a common room and sleeping areas, the princess’ knights had a common room and sleeping area, the grounds’ knights, etcetera.
The room was dim, making the knock upon Sevika’s chamber door even more intimidating. It was just you, insisting that your knight and Elora remain upstairs in the writing room. This needed to be you and her, so that she was sure you meant it.
There was a quick, “come in!” and you pushed the door open, closing it behind you before you had a chance to look up. When you did, the few words you had decided on died in your throat. Sevika was standing before you, back toward you, and you got a front row seat as she pulled her shirt over her head by the collar in one swift motion. Underneath she bared nothing but binding wrap, a usual for female knights.
She tossed the shirt to the side and turned to face you, face dropping into a toothy grin. Her tooth gap met your view, and you couldn’t help but marvel at how perfectly it fit her face. “My queen,” she said, her grin transforming to a smirk at the look on your face.
Your eyes were shot, trying to find a spot to look that was anything other than her, or her shirt on the ground. Your cheeks were most definitely redder than they had ever been, and you felt as if you were glowing with how warm they were. But, what intrigued Sevika the most was the part in your lips, and the way your chest rose and fell with belligerent haste. You were thinking of her and she could tell.
She allowed herself to tip against a poster of her bed, arms crossing over her chest. “Lucky you caught me, I was about to take off my arm,” she joked. “What can I do for you?” It took you a moment longer than it should’ve for your brain to click back into place.
“I, um,” you swallowed harshly. “I can come back another time if you’re busy,” your hands were sweating mercilessly. “Or if you want to take off your arm.” She snorted, laughing with a shake of her head.
“Now’s fine, pretty.” She was most definitely Pavlov-ing you somehow, with all of these little names, and the way she was saying them. The way she said it, made it feel like it was yours - there was no way to move on from that, or come back from the way it made you feel. Nobody else could call you pretty now that she had, or refer to you as their lady now that she had.
“Okay, well, I w-wanted to apologize for earlier. I shouldn’t have rushed out like that. I had to attend to- to some business.” She pushed off of the wall and took a few steps closer to you, making you step back until your back was pressed against the door.
“Business, of course,” she said with a smile. “Your sister says that that was the first time you’ve danced since your own lessons. I must say, you did a fantastic job, sweetheart.” You briefly scowled at the idea of Sarah spreading your private information to someone that was basically a stranger to you.
That idea made this entire thing worse. This woman was essentially a stranger, and yet her words and actions were taking an affect on you in a way that nobody else's ever had. No suitor, no man from the street, no woman at the brothel. And you hardly knew her. Your mother would have an aneurysm if she were here to see this.
“You’re not too bad yourself.” You said, weakly. She was so close now. You could practically reach out and stroke her cheek if you wanted to. But that would be terrible, gross even. All of this was terrible. You could be planning for the ball, and instead you were here, allowing this to happen. Indulging in it.
“Well my queen, if you don’t need anything else, then you should allow me to walk you to your chambers,” she reached around you, large body caging you in. “A pretty thing like you needs her beauty sleep.” You were surely suffocating between the door and her body. You looked up at her, and driven by something in your mind, you lifted up on your toes and-
The door clicked open, and shifted behind you. With deep embarrassment, you slipped through the cage of her arms and out into the common space, cool air hitting you and bringing your facial temperature down, thank god. The both of you made it back to your quarters quickly and silently, seeing as you were far too embarrassed to hold a conversation.
“If you find yourself without someone to dance with at your fancy little ball, you can always come and find me, m’lady. Sweet dreams.” She winked and strode off, making your head absolutely spiral.
There were things that needed to be done. The education budget needed to be finalized, and the caterers for the ball needed an official date. Not to mention you had been requested to a new elementary school’s opening, and asked to read a book.
But right now, right now. All that mattered was the way your skin burned where Sevika touched it hours ago, and the way her words felt as they were poured over you, like she wanted you. Like you were some sort of prize, exactly where she wanted you. No matter how terrible it was, no matter how much needed to be done, all that mattered right now was Sevika.
Laying back on your bed as your mind wandered miles, you couldn’t help but run your fingertips along your skin, grazing your nipple over your night dress. It was frustration, really. You would never get off to the thought of a stranger, especially someone on your staff, that was so close to you and your family. You had to wonder, though, what the cool metal of mech fingers would feel like against the burning skin of your nipple, or what her mouth would feel like replacing it.
And, well, the thoughts didn’t halt when your fingers slipped into your underwear, or when you came, messy and sinful all over your hand.

Hi, so I'm not really sure how to ask this idk, it feels very personal and maybe tmi, and I guess it depends on one's level of bottom dysphoria, but basically, do you (or anyone else who wants to share) have any advice or anything with how to cope with having to go through a physical exam for bottom stuff/ a pap smear for the first time?
I'm asking this as someone who has and always has had severe bottom dysphoria to the point that I've never done anything with those parts and literally never even touched myself. I've just lived painfully aware that I have that stuff but simultaneously pretending as much as possible that I don't. So just the thought of "having to" get that done, being touched there by someone etc, makes me sick and gives me anxiety and I just full on do not want to do that. Ever. But apparently I have to if I'm ever gonna get a hysto, which I really really want.
So now I just feel like it's lose/lose. Either I have to let someone touch me in a way that just thinking about me makes me sick, or I can never get a part of transition that I've been wanting forever since I was kid and learned about my anatomy.
And I just.. mentally, emotionally, physically in every way just really don't know how to deal with that.
I guess it's not that big of a deal for people who don't have bottom dysphoria or not that much of it, and honestly sometimes I feel kinda alone (and almost guilty? Like it's wrong somehow?) in how extremely uncomfortable I am with bottom stuff compared to how I've seen other people be chill with it, but yeah.. idk what to do or how to cope with this.
Don't feel bad about feeling bad -- I may like my dick, but that hole gives me panic attacks and I'm not looking forward to my own exam coming up soon. I worry every time that I am going to kick someone in the face by accident. :/
A pelvic exam/pap is not required to begin HRT, but you will need one for most hystos. Plus, it's just good preventative care. Also, if you are young enough, get your HPV vaccine (a 2 shot series, iirc) to help prevent cervical cancer.
Things that have helped me during gyn exams:
Take the entire day off, if you can. Have a treat set up for after your appointment.
Go with a friend, if possible. They may not be able to be with you in the exam room, but they can at least drive you and wait for you.
Be firm that this is hard for you and anything they can do to make it easier will be helpful.
Put your shirt back on after the breast exam. I don't take "no" for an answer here. Having an extra bit of clothing on makes me feel better.
Ask for the "pediatric" speculum -- it's smaller and won't hurt as bad. Insist on it.
Have something you can grip to take your focus off below.
If they want to do a sonogram, refuse the transvaginal one. Do it the old fashioned way, which will require drinking a lot of water. They can deal.
Don't be embarrassed if your self-care afterwards requires crying, or similar. This is an exhausting thing to do, no matter how brave a face you put on in the exam room. I usually just crawl back into bed to sleep it off.
Above all, never take comments like "just man up" or whatever from the medical team. If that happens, be mean back, or simply get up, get dressed, and leave. Find someone else if you have to.
Scripts I have used. Workshop your own and practice them:
"This is my first time. I'm worried this will be a very uncomfortable exam physically and emotionally for me and I would appreciate anything you can do to make it easier. It helps me if you explain everything as we go."
"I do not have penetrative sex, so would like to try the smallest speculum lubed up best you can."
"I am going to put my shirt back on. It will help me be calmer for the rest of the exam."
If they are rude: "You are being unkind and I will walk out of here and find another provider if this attitude continues."
If they insist on a transvag sonogram: "I will only do an external sonogram. We can schedule it another day for me to prep, or give me time to drink the necessary water." (This is hard, btw -- it is enough water to make you vomit.)
Do whatever mental larping you need to do to get through it all. It's important to psych yourself up so you can control as much as possible. Remember, you can stop things whenever you want. If they are mean, all bets are off.
If you're like me, it will suck, but please try not to put it off. But getting through it means you can tackle anything else related to transition, should you go that route. Seriously, if you can do this, you are fucking golden. Take care. <3
(Additional stories/advice are welcome from folks, being trans masc not required!)

Gym Confession
tom taylor x gn! reader
word count: 1.3k
a/n: the fic i’m writing for aeron/benji/reader is taking forever so here’s another one!@benjicotblckwood
Tumblr media
The early morning sun peeked through the windows of the gym, casting a warm glow on the equipment. You and Tom Taylor had made it a habit to work out together whenever your schedules allowed. Today was one of those rare days where neither of you had any pressing commitments, and you were determined to make the most of it.
Tom was already at the gym when you arrived, warming up with some stretches. He flashed you a bright smile as you approached. "Hey! Ready to get started?"
"Absolutely," you replied, returning his smile. "What's the plan for today?"
He glanced at his phone, where he'd made a rough outline of the workout. "I was thinking we could start with some cardio, then move on to strength training. How does that sound?"
"Perfect," you said, feeling a rush of excitement. Working out with Tom was always fun; his enthusiasm and positive energy were contagious.
You both hopped on adjacent treadmills and began your warm-up. As the treadmills hummed beneath you, Tom started to talk about his latest project. "So, we've just wrapped up filming, and I think this one's going to be really special. The script was incredible, and the cast was amazing."
"That's great to hear," you said, slightly breathless as you picked up the pace. "I can't wait to see it. You're always so passionate about your work."
Tom grinned, clearly pleased. "Thanks. It means a lot to hear that from you."
After the cardio session, you moved on to the weight machines. Tom adjusted the settings on one of the machines and gestured for you to take the first turn. "How about we start with some leg presses?"
You nodded, positioning yourself on the machine. As you began your set, Tom stood by, offering encouragement. "You've got this. Keep your back straight and push through your heels."
His supportive words and watchful eye helped you maintain proper form, and before you knew it, you'd finished your set. Tom took his turn next, and you returned the favor, cheering him on.
"Come on, Tom! You make this look easy," you teased, watching as he effortlessly completed his reps.
He laughed, the sound bright and genuine. "Don't be fooled. I'm working hard here."
The two of you moved through the rest of your workout, alternating between different exercises and machines. Between sets, you chatted about everything from favorite movies to weekend plans, the conversation flowing naturally and easily.
As the session drew to a close, you both found yourselves at the stretching area, cooling down with some light stretches. Tom reached over and handed you a bottle of water. "Here, you need to stay hydrated."
"Thanks," you said, taking a grateful sip. "I think that was one of our best workouts yet."
"I agree," Tom said, his eyes meeting yours with a warm, genuine expression. "I always look forward to these sessions. It's nice to have a workout partner who pushes me and keeps things fun."
"Right back at you," you replied, feeling a sense of camaraderie and appreciation. "You make it so much easier to stay motivated."
As you both finished your stretches, Tom glanced at his watch. "Hey, I've got a bit of time before my next appointment. How about we grab a smoothie or something?"
"That sounds great," you said, smiling. "I know just the place."
You both headed out of the gym, the sun now higher in the sky, promising a beautiful day ahead. The nearby smoothie bar was a favorite of yours, known for its delicious and healthy options. As you walked, Tom fell into step beside you, the easy conversation continuing.
When you reached the smoothie bar, you both ordered your favorites and found a table by the window. As you sipped your drinks, Tom leaned back in his chair, a contented look on his face.
"Days like this are the best," he said, his eyes reflecting a sense of peace. "Good workout, good company, and a great smoothie to top it off."
You nodded in agreement, feeling a similar sense of satisfaction. "Couldn't agree more. It's nice to take a break and enjoy the little things."
Tom's gaze softened as he looked at you, his smile gentle. "You know, I'm really glad we do this. It means a lot to have you as a friend and workout partner."
"Same here," you replied, your heart warming at his words. "Here's to many more workouts and smoothies together."
Tom raised his smoothie cup in a mock toast, and you clinked yours against it, both of you laughing. It was moments like these that made you appreciate the special bond you shared, built on mutual respect, support, and genuine friendship.
As you finished your drinks and prepared to head your separate ways, you couldn't help but notice the way Tom's eyes lingered on you a little longer than usual. There was something in his gaze, a hint of unspoken tension that hadn't been there before.
Later that week, you and Tom found yourselves at the gym again, ready for another workout. This time, there was a slight awkwardness in the air, a tension that neither of you had addressed yet.
Tom adjusted the settings on the bench press, his movements more deliberate than usual. "Let's start with this today."
You nodded, sensing the change in his demeanor. As you took your turn on the bench press, you could feel his eyes on you, watching your every move. When it was his turn, you stood by, offering the same encouragement he always gave you.
"Come on, lord of the north. You got this," you said, trying to keep the tone light.
He managed a small smile but didn't respond with his usual banter. Instead, he focused on his reps, the silence between you growing heavier with each passing moment.
After finishing the set, Tom sat up, wiping sweat from his forehead. He glanced at you, his expression conflicted. "There's something I need to talk to you about."
You felt a knot form in your stomach. "Okay. What's going on?"
Tom took a deep breath, his eyes searching yours. "I... I've been feeling something more than just friendship between us. And I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to ruin what we have. But it's getting harder to ignore."
Your heart raced, a mixture of emotions swirling inside you. You had always valued your friendship with Tom, but now you were forced to confront feelings you hadn't fully acknowledged.
"I don't want to ruin what we have either," you said softly. "But I can't deny that there's something there."
Tom's eyes softened, relief washing over his features. "So, what do we do?"
You took a deep breath, trying to steady your racing thoughts. "I think we need to be honest with each other. We can take things slow and see where it goes. But whatever happens, I don't want to lose our friendship."
Tom nodded, a small smile forming on his lips. "I can agree to that. Slow and honest."
The tension between you eased slightly, replaced by a sense of anticipation and curiosity about what the future might hold. As you continued your workout, the unspoken understanding between you added a new layer to your interactions.
Later, as you cooled down with some light stretches, Tom reached over and gently squeezed your hand. "Thanks for being honest with me. It means a lot."
You squeezed his hand back, feeling a sense of connection that was deeper than ever. "Thank you for bringing it up. I'm glad we talked about it."
As you both left the gym and headed to the smoothie bar once again, the conversation flowed more easily. There was still a lot to figure out, but you knew that with honesty and openness, you could navigate this new phase of your relationship together. Sitting at the same table by the window, sipping your smoothies, you felt a renewed sense of optimism.

I decided to use game screenshots from The Sims 3 that I took during the testing period instead of creating detailed images because it takes less time compared to the other one and I've been quite busy these past few days. You may have noticed my new post format, which I'm trying out to see if it works for me. Since I started my Simblr account, I've been experimenting with what works or looks good with my theme. Hopefully, I will find something that I'll be happy with. So, I hope you'll be patient with me as I tend to change things every now and then. The Charisma skill is added as one of its metrics because this part-time career mostly involves interacting with patients and fellow medical staff. This includes tasks such as checking in patients, scheduling appointments and coordinating medical procedures with different teams in the hospital. Logic is also the other Metric as I think the longer you work in that setting you will eventually learn the medical jargons especially if you have been promoted to the highest level and need to accurately record everything during patient examinations. As stated above, you will need NRAAS Careers Mod for these careers to show up in the game and as long as you have the latest version of it, it should work for higher patches. You can also read my #psa regarding these careers, click here. I’m not fluent in any other languages to translate so if anyone is interested in translating this career, please don’t hesitate to send me a message here, comment on this post or let me know in my new Ask/Contact form (if you don't have a Tumblr account) and will let you know the details. I have tested this career in my game, so far it is working and all scripts are showing up. All feedback is very welcome to help me learn and improve my skills so please let me know if you experience any problems on your end and I’ll do my best to sort it as soon as possible.

TRADITION IS NICE ! ! ! RN☤
Tumblr media
Frank Langdon x Male!Reader
Your study room is booked. Your caffeine levels are critically low. And Frank Langdon, smug, stupidly hot pre-med golden boy, just waltzed in like he owns the place. You’re a nursing major with no time for egos. He’s a future MD with a smirk you want to wipe clean... or maybe kiss. It’s not love. It’s just academic tension. Really. Probably.
ـــــــــﮩ٨ــــــــــﮩ٨ــــــــــﮩ٨ـــــــــــــــــﮩ٨ــــــــــﮩ٨ــــــــــﮩ٨ــــــــــ
The study-room door groans open behind you just as you’re color-coding the cranial-nerve assessment flowchart you haveto know by tomorrow’s simulation lab. You don’t bother looking up; your reservation is solid, email confirmation, student-union stamp, all of it. Whoever barges in can take their “I didn’t see the sign-up sheet” excuses somewhere else.
But the voice that fills the tiny room is low, scratchy from too much coffee and too little sleep, and it’s annoyingly nice to listen to.
“Uh—hey. This is Room B-3, right?”
You glance up. He’s tall in that basketball-practice-ran-late, threw-on-a-hoodie kind of way—dark hair still damp at the temples, lanyard with the med-society crest swinging from a finger. Frank Langdon. Pre-med senior, rumor says top percentile on every practice MCAT he’s ever taken, also rumor says he once made a freshman cry in Organic Lab for confusing resonance and induction. And dammit rumor does not say he’s this pretty up close.
“Booked till ten,” you answer, too brisk, pushing your phone screen toward him like a courtroom exhibit. “See? Y/N L. Nursing, junior. Sorry.”
Frank’s eyes flick to the timestamp, then back to you, a crooked grin creeping in.
“Huh. Weird. I always have B-3 on Wednesdays.”
“Congrats. Tradition’s nice. Schedules are nicer.”
He sets his backpack down anyway, casual defiance. “Look, I just need forty-five minutes to run enzyme kinetics flashcards. You can stay—there’s two chairs.”
You snap your binder shut. “Not sharing. I talk out loud. Cardiac-lung auscultation scripts. You’ll hate it.”
Frank crosses his arms. “Lung sounds? Doesn’t the doctor usually handle diagnostics?” He’s teasing, but the edge is there.
There it is, the medical cold war: nurse vs future doctor. You feel your shoulders square automatically.
“Funny,” you say. “Because last week your shadowing cohort dumped vitals on the RN station with the cuff still velcro-looped. We saved you, champ.”
He blinks, then smirks. “Touché.”
A beat of silence. You’re aware, annoyingly, of how his biceps strain under that grey hoodie when he folds them. He’s probably aware you noticed. You hate that it makes your pulse kick up (you’ll log it as sympathetic adrenergic response, purely academic).
Frank exhales. “Okay. Rock-paper-scissor to decide?”
You arch a brow. “We’re adults.”
“So… rock-paper-scissor best of one. Super adult.”
You roll your eyes, but your fingers are already forming a fist. One, two, shoot—
Paper (you) beats rock (him). He drags a hand over his face, laughing.
“Damn. All right, Nurse Ratched. I concede.”
“Did you just compare me to—”
“Only in the authority-figure sense. You wield a mean appointment confirmation.” His smile softens, less cocky now. “Seriously, I’ll go. But, this may be weird, can I borrow that white-board marker? Mine died.”
You hold it out. Your fingers brush; electric cliché zings through your palm. He must feel it too because his Adam’s apple bobs.
He packs up, but before he leaves he pauses at the doorway. “Hey… Y/N, right? Good luck on clinicals.”
You blink, thrown. “Good luck on the big bad MCAT.”
He nods, starts to walk, then half-turns. “For what it’s worth, if I end up in med school across the street next year, I’d be lucky to have a nurse who knows cranial nerves cold.”
Your cheeks warm. “Learn your lung sounds first, Langdon.”
His grin is brighter than the fluorescent strip above you. “Working on it.”
Door clicks shut. You stare at it for a long moment, then at the single marker still warm in your hand before sinking back into your chair, smile tugging despite yourself.
Outside in the hallway Frank palms the  rock-paper-scissor defeat, but there’s a spring in his step anyway. He didn’t get the room, but he did get your name, your laugh, and one hell of a reason to study lung sounds.
He swears he can still feel the brush of your fingertips. Maybe next Wednesday he’ll book B-3 proper. Maybe he’ll bring two coffees, just in case the room is “double-booked” again.
After all, tradition’s nice. Schedules are nicer. Shared ones might be nicest of all.

PART 1 - The SERVE interview.
Matt, a 25-year-old with a lean, athletic build, stood before the mirror, carefully combing his blonde hair into place. His green eyes, vibrant with a mix of excitement and nerves, studied his reflection as if searching for reassurance. This was a pivotal moment—the first interview of his new life in a bustling city far removed from the quiet monotony of his small hometown. The company he was about to face was no ordinary employer. SERVE, with its sleek chrome logo adorning countless billboards and skyscrapers, loomed large as a beacon of ambition and progress. It was a chance to escape the familiar and step into the extraordinary.
His crisp white shirt and impeccably tailored navy suit were more than just attire; they were armor for the day ahead. He took a deep breath, steadying his racing heart, and glanced out the window of his modest hotel room. The city was alive with sound and motion—car horns, distant chatter, and the hum of life weaving through the urban tapestry. It was a stark contrast to the subdued stillness he had left behind. SERVE’s motto echoed in his mind: "Where obedience is pleasure and pleasure is obedience." The phrase was enigmatic and provocative, hinting at something transformative. Matt had spent hours studying the company’s mission, culture, and reputation, preparing himself to make the best possible impression.
The clock on his phone read 8:45 AM. The interview was scheduled for 9:30. He had built in plenty of time to navigate the unfamiliar city, but the efficiency of its public transportation system had surprised him. With fifteen extra minutes to spare, he paced the small room, rehearsing answers to the inevitable questions. Why SERVE? Why you? What can you offer? His polished shoes clicked softly against the hardwood floor as he ran through his mental scripts, each question a step closer to his aspirations
The elevator ride to the hotel lobby was brief, its sleek, mirrored walls reflecting his composed exterior. When the doors opened, a rush of city sounds and movement greeted him. People streamed through the grand entrance, their purpose and pace reminding him of SERVE’s relentless drive. He paused outside, taking in the morning air—a blend of exhaust, coffee, and the faint aroma of freshly baked bread.
Tumblr media
On the horizon, SERVE’s headquarters loomed like a monument to ambition, its chrome logo catching the early sunlight. The building radiated power, a constant reminder of the opportunity awaiting him.
Matt navigated the bustling sidewalks, his stride purposeful as the city’s energy coursed through him. The diversity of faces and stories around him was invigorating, a stark departure from the sleepy streets of his past. The SERVE building grew larger with each step, its sharp, gleaming edges embodying the cutting-edge innovation it represented. When the glass doors slid open, a wave of cool, sterile air swept over him, grounding him in the present. The lobby was a study in precision—minimalist design, sleek surfaces, and an undercurrent of quiet efficiency.
The receptionist, a composed man with a practiced smile, acknowledged Matt’s arrival with a nod. After confirming his appointment, he gestured toward a row of plush seats. Matt joined a small group of hopeful candidates, each lost in their own thoughts. The air buzzed with a mixture of determination and unease, their faces betraying traces of the same excitement Matt felt. He couldn’t help but overhear snippets of conversation—whispers about SERVE’s groundbreaking projects and the mysterious fate of employees who excelled.
The walls of the lobby were adorned with striking images of SERVE employees clad in sleek, branded latex suits, interacting seamlessly with drones. The scenes were captivating, equal parts aspirational and uncanny. Matt had read about the conversion process, the transformation of employees into drones—a melding of humanity and technology. Now, faced with the visual reality of it, the allure was undeniable. There was power in surrendering individuality to become part of something greater, something transcendent.
As he sat, Matt’s excitement grew. SERVE wasn’t just a job; it was a gateway to transformation, a chance to be part of a world where obedience wasn’t just expected—it was celebrated. He straightened his tie, his resolve solidifying as the minutes ticked by. This was his moment, and he was ready to embrace it.
At 9:25 AM, the doors to the inner sanctum of SERVE’s headquarters parted, and a middle-aged man with a gleaming bald head emerged. He was dressed impeccably in a form-fitting latex shirt and trousers that reflected the lobby’s artificial light, the material stretching tightly over his muscular frame. Despite the air-conditioned chill, beads of sweat glistened on his forehead and the back of his neck. His shoes, a mirror to his attire, clicked sharply against the marble floor as he approached. His tie, also made of the same shiny material, fluttered slightly with each step, the only indication that he was, indeed, human.
Tumblr media
Matt's eyes followed the man as he approached, the clack of his shoes punctuating the silence like a metronome. The man’s gaze swept over the candidates before settling on him, his eyes narrowing slightly as if he had found what he was looking for. The man’s expression was unreadable. But something in his posture—the way his shoulders squared and his chest puffed—conveyed authority and confidence.
The latex-clad figure offered a firm handshake. "Good morning, Matthew," he said, his voice a low purr that seemed to resonate through the very fabric of the lobby. "I'm Alex, your interviewer for today. You must be quite the eager bee to arrive so early."
Matt felt a rush of heat to his cheeks at the compliment. He took Alex's hand, noticing the strength behind the man's grip. "Just eager to make a good impression," he replied, trying to keep his voice steady. Alex's attire was indeed striking—his latex ensemble fitting like a second skin, emphasizing his toned physique. The way the material shimmered in the light made him seem almost superhuman, a living embodiment of SERVE's ethos of power and efficiency.
They walked side by side down the corridor, the sound of their shoes a rhythmic echo. The latex against the marble was a symphony of squeaks and taps, a sensual soundtrack to the otherwise clinical environment. Alex's stride was fluid, his hips rolling with an allure that was difficult to ignore. His confidence was palpable, and it was clear that he reveled in the attention his outfit drew from both the interviewees and the staff that passed by. The other candidates couldn't help but glance up, their curiosity piqued by the interplay of sex appeal and authority.
The interview room was stark white, with chrome fixtures and a single round table in the center. Alex gestured for Matt to sit in the ergonomic chair across from him. The room felt smaller than it should have, the walls seeming to close in as the door slid shut with a hiss. The chair was cold, and the room was calming.
Alex leaned back, his latex outfit whispering against the chair, his arms folded over his chest. "So, Matthew," he began, his voice like gravel, "why do you want to work for SERVE?"
Matt took a deep breath, his heart racing. This was his chance to articulate his dreams and ambitions. "I've always been fascinated by the integration of human and machine," he said, trying to keep his voice steady. "The idea of becoming a drone, a cog in the wheel of something so much larger than myself, it's… intoxicating."
Alex's expression remained unchanged, his eyes piercing as he studied Matt intently. "You understand that the process of becoming a drone is not for the faint of heart," he said, his voice a low rumble. "It's a journey of dedication, discipline, and ultimately, transformation. The path to conversion is not one that can be rushed or taken lightly."
Matt nodded, his throat dry. "I'm aware of the commitment required," he managed to say, his voice a tad shakier than he'd have liked. "I've read about the training, the conditioning, and the final procedure. I'm ready for whatever it takes to serve the hive."
Alex leaned forward, his elbows on the table, his hands steepled in front of him. The latex of his shirt stretched, outlining the contours of his biceps. "What is it that draws you to this life?" he asked, his eyes searching. "What do you seek to leave behind?"
Matt swallowed, his palms slick with anticipation. "My hometown," he began, "was a place of stagnation, a pond where ideas and dreams went to die. I crave the rush of innovation, the thrill of being part of something that shapes the future." He paused, collecting his thoughts. "And…I want to be part of something so much larger than myself, to feel that unity of purpose."
Alex nodded thoughtfully. "Your desire to escape your past is commendable, Matthew," he said, his voice like a gentle caress. "But to truly serve the hive, you must be willing to shed the last vestiges of your old life. Your family, your friends, your past… they will become irrelevant. Tell me, have you ever felt truly alone?"
Matt's gaze drifted to the floor as he considered the question. "I was abandoned by my family when I was 18," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "They couldn't accept who I was." The words hung in the air, a silent confession of pain and rejection. "I've been on my own since then, supporting myself through university. I've learned to survive, but I crave more than mere existence."
Alex leaned in slightly, his expression a mix of empathy and curiosity. "Abandonment is a powerful motivator," he said, his eyes never leaving Matt's. "It can either break you or forge you into something stronger. Tell me, what did it do to you?"
Matt took a moment to gather his thoughts. The memory of his family's rejection was a raw wound, but it had also been the catalyst for his relentless drive. "It made me self-reliant," he said, his voice gaining strength. "It taught me that if I wanted to succeed, I had to do it on my own terms. I worked multiple jobs to put myself through university. I studied hard, graduated with honors. But most importantly, it made me crave belonging, to be part of something where I could truly make a difference."
Alex's smile grew, a knowing glint in his eye. "Ah, the sweet taste of potential," he murmured, his gaze lingering on Matt's face. "We do appreciate ambition here at SERVE." He leaned back in his chair, his latex shirt creaking as he folded his arms over his chest. "Very well, I can see that you're eager to prove yourself. We'll start you on a probationary period. You'll begin as a janitor, but if you show promise, the hive will embrace you and guide you toward your true calling."
Matt's stomach plummeted. A janitor? That wasn't what he had envisioned when he thought about joining SERVE. But he knew he couldn't let this setback deter him. He nodded, forcing a smile. "I'm ready for whatever it takes," he said, trying to keep the disappointment out of his voice.
Alex's smile grew broader, a gleam of amusement in his eyes. "Excellent," he said, his tone warm and approving. "Your dedication is commendable. Be here at 6 AM sharp on Monday. You'll be provided with your uniform then. And remember, Matthew, once you're in the uniform, you are a part of the hive. You will only wear it here, even during breaks. It is a symbol of your commitment to SERVE. Do you understand the gravity of this?"
Matt nodded, trying to suppress his apprehension. "I understand," he said firmly. "I'll be here."

I AM NOW GOING TO BE ATTEMPTING HYPNOSIS PROFESSIONALLY!!!
XD well, okay, psuedo-professionally, im not gonna open a business, rent an office, and charge thousands.
UwU i could only permit myself to do THAT if i got a formal education and license for the practice. X3 then maybe i could run ads on furry websites like that one Lion i kept seeing back in the day
:3 no no, basically i wanna test the waters and see if maybe i can make this my job. so im starting small with affordable rates and reasonable rules for my followers. here's how itll go.
test sessions with basic induction, triggers, and maaaaaybe some light eroticism will be free to anyone PROVIDED they know i am on no set schedule for this.
:P its quite simple really. i have so many subjects at this point, a good many of whom were willing to pay in the first place, and i only have so much free time on my hands. if i wanna be dedicated to this, it cant just be for practice and funsies. X3 but that is still allowed now and then.
for $20, i can give you a longer, personalized hypnosis session. we set a day and time for the sesh and said schedule will be kept to as best as we both can manage. i'm down for most kinks, buuuuut do have limits. we negotiate terms and safewords from the get go. :3 i think a nice 2 hour sesh of whatever you crave should be reasonable for that price, and this way i have more obligation to go through with whatever we have planned.
for $40, we can schedule several sessions. i consider this my "training" commission. :P or i guess you could call it brainwashing. essentially, if you have a particular training you desire, be it obedience training, increased suggestibility, corruption of sometime, and ESPECIALLY unpottytraining, we can set some dates and times to give your mind plenty of attention and see just how deeply we can set the conditioning.
:3 refunds available to anyone whom my methods do not work on, or simply if you feel you are no longer comfortable with having me as a hypnotist, either way is fine.
UwU all hypnosis scripts i post on my blog for funsies will be free to anyone, and i will at some point make a tag to help searching for them be made easier.
:D also! im gonna be getting a microphone in the near future, so expect me to delve into the world of hypnosis audio files or possibly youtube videos!
-w-; id say look forward to whatever p@tr30n i have set up in the future, but sadly they have long since kicked AB/DL creators from the platform, so they wont be seeing my work there anytime soon.
:3 sooooooo yeah! dm me if you wanna schedule an appointment!
UwU your new goddess eagerly awaits you~

It’s been so long since I’ve sent an ask in, i fear the kids will think we’re in a divorce. So today I came to offer up a situation I believe in 1000%.
Jackie Taylor in college not knowing how to flirt with women, so whenever she meets you for the first time she doesn’t know how to talk to you. She ends up buying those stupid men’s pickup artist CDs, the like late 2000s type. She believes it completely and thinks that this is how you get girls and buys like the whole box set. It comes with douche clothes, a small notebook of pickup lines and a huge textbook along with like 10 CDs. Literally any normal person would know these lines and tactics would absolutely not work, but she’s convinced herself. So she tries approaching you in a bar and when you don’t follow the script that the pickup artist said you’d respond with, she gets nervous. She pulls out and skims through the pages of a huge book that in VERY bold letters on the front reads, ‘HOW TO GET WOMEN’
She eventually gives up on the textbook after she sees the weird look you gave her upon seeing it. Just ends up taking a bar napkin and writing “Do you like me?” With 2 options below that read “Yes” and “YES”. She’s looking at you like she’s so proud of herself that you cant help but circle the option in all caps. (She thinks that means you’re dating, immediately)
excellent ask as always bro. feels like we haven't spoken in soooo long. waiting by the window for my husband to come home from war. checking the post office every day for one mere letter from the front lines 😔
the way that little book is the only thing jackie's taking notes on before she got to college. she bombed her first exam and is like "omg how do you study in college???" and then looked at her 10 pages of notes from "chicks 101" and a lightbulb lit up
jackie has the best pickup lines written down and her phone and keeps checking the notes app as shes walking towards you (walks into a pole). forgets them immediately the second she starts talking to you (you talked first and she forgot what she crammed) but refuses to admit it and tries it anyways. completely flips the line around. like "you're the only ten i see, are you from tennessee?" and immediately winces.
screams into her pillow atleast once a week. did not realize that flirting with girls would be so fucking hard. no one tells you this thing. she almost misses when she thought she was straight. the shit was soooo easy. she's so good at flirting with boys that she's still pulling them without even trying.
also jackie for fucking sure memorizes how she wants conversations to go in general when she's nervous about something i feel and the second someone goes off script she's like "hold on now". has to schedule a doctors appointment for the first time and they ask her a question she didn't have written down and she hangs up (they needed her middle name. she makes shauna call them from rhode island lmaoo.).
peering over jackie's shoulder and she's got 20 tabs open all along the lines of "how to kiss", "how to tell her i like her", "how to flirt with women when you look straight", "how to be her friend in a gay way", "lesbian. girl pretty. help"
jackie does NOT believe in situationships. what do you mean you're not in love with her??? you went on three dates?? she secretly sprayed her perfume on your pillow when you were in the bathroom and everything. yahoo answers swore it would make you fall in love with her
side note jackie immediately hard launches you after one date. queen. writing mrs jackie taylor in all her notebooks for sure. calling shauna up like "i found the one" and shaunas like "...where is she from?". "unimportant. anyways so on our date..."
you see a no faintly written under a shit ton of eraser marks before she changed her mind and wrote another yes. (was nervous about giving you the option lmaooo)

Gender Therapy
So I’m a little over 2 months on t (which I talked about in my previous post), and today I had an appointment with my gender therapist lady at the clinic I go to. She’s the one who wrote my permission to go see the medical doctor in their clinic for my t, and I scheduled this appointment when she did that so we could discuss how I was feeling after a bit on t.
I told her how absolutely and completely happy t has made me! No complaints and I love every change, I’ve had absolutely zero depression since going on t! She was very happy for me and then we talked about my life (education, family, personal projects) all fun and awesome stuff! Once we wrapped that up she asked me if I felt I needed her help with anything else, I brought up top surgery. How my mom and I had tried to reach out to insurance and they kept sending us in complete circles. The minute you mention the word “transgender” they want to transfer us to behavioral health, and we’re like “no please stop transferring us we don’t need to speak to behavioral health!”
She told us how difficult they can be and we scheduled my next appointment to make a plan to get me top surgery!! I’m so insanely excited. When I first saw my doctor at their clinic who wrote my t script he asked how long I’d been binding, I told the truth, since 4th grade. He immediately asked me and my mom how soon we’d be comfortable looking into top surgery. I have horrible back pain and reoccurring rib injuries from binding most of my life. I never feel fully comfortable in any outfit or social situation, top surgery is going to be life changing for me. Just the beginning of the process has me freaking out.
I also got my blood drawn today to test my t levels. I have the appointment with my t doctor to discuss those results on the 3rd, and my top surgery chat with mom and therapist follows on the 7th. These have absolutely been the best two months of my life, looking forward to every months that will follow!

how are you doing lately yuuri? (everyones been asking about content so i just wanted to ask something that wasnt related to it. obviously no ill will towards them ❤❤)
I'm pretty great actually!
My 2024 didn't really kick off until the middle of March tbh, but now that I'm really rolling I'm feeling good about things.
Creatively I'm charged up and full of ideas. Every time I go to the well, my cup is full. That's the best case scenario for any artist, so I'm very happy. The bigger projects will take time but I am actively chipping away at them rather than letting them stew in my brain.
Am still head over heels for Aerith after playing FFVII Rebirth, and put some solid hours into Dragon's Dogma 2, so I've been a real gamer boy so far in 2024 lol
Cats good. House good. Life good.
Nothing really new going on. Had an appointment to get my passport, that was cool and my picture turned out pretty decent so I'm not mad at that.
I'll be seeing Nothing More and Hozier in concert this month, and Motionless in White next month. Excited about that for sure.
Life is definitely very content-centric right now but it doesn't feel like work and things are going well in terms of numbers. It's an ebb and flow usually but when both of those align it feels particularly rewarding!
I've streamlined and refined some of my processes when it comes to scripts, planning, etc. and that feels good after years of just sorta vomiting on the page and hoping everyone involved can figure it out lol
Had some really wonderful portfolio submissions when I called for them on Patreon! I have many people I need to reach out to and I feel really optimistic about some of the writers that reached out. Having some wonderful scripts to use when I need to get ahead of schedule and focus my own writing on the narrative projects is really going to take some pressure off of me. Script submissions have been helpful sometimes, but now that I have a bit more brain capacity I can take extra steps to really get hands on and work with select writers 1:1. Script submissions will still be a thing, and if you haven't submitted your portfolio and think you've got the sauce...go hit my business email!
In terms of art I just need to expand options when it comes to merch, one off thumbnails, etc. to help with the flow of things. With multiple major series coming, I'd like to be able to keep Jackie on those and not have to interrupt the flow by throwing a new thing at her every other week and end up messing with the schedule because I can't stop having ideas lol
So! A lot of great stuff going on. I'm feeling great and am looking forward to smashing the rest of this year!

Hello. I'm sorry to bother you, and if this is too personal you can delete it. May I ask if you are on hrt? And if so, how did you acquire it, as a mute person?
I'm also in my late 20s and diagnosed with selective mutism, and my perceived hopelessness of the situation has made me repress it for so long. Attempting to share any meaningful information about myself or give responses over one word to my parents or other authority figures (i.e. doctors) makes me feel nauseous and lightheaded, or like I'm stabbing myself. For reference, I live with my parent and my inability to communicate makes me almost fully financially and materially dependent on them.
I have a handful of friends that I'm capable of speaking to, but I still struggle to share personal information even with them, and I can't bring myself to talk about this with any of them because none of them are trans women.
Again, if this is all too personal or forthright coming from an anonymous stranger you can ignore it. I'm extremely reluctant to reveal myself, but if this is something you feel would be best talked about in private I can try, though it may take me some time to come forward. Thanks in advance.
It’s not a bother or too personal at all <3
I am on HRT, yeah ^.^ For my hormone appointments I schedule online since phone calls aren’t an option and tend to have everything written in a notebook ahead of time, explaining that I’m trans and unable to speak vocally if it’s a first time I’m seeing a doctor. I’ve never had to specify that it’s selective mutism that causes my inability to talk, and tend to refer to it just as a communication disorder (being a bit more vague helps me with my own difficult time revealing personal information). Doctors have never asked for more information about it, but it might be valuable to have a page to explain ahead of time in case you don’t have a pre-written answer for a question asked and you’re unable to write while there. (I also recommend handing the notebook over since, idk if you’re the same but my hands shake too much from fear to read otherwise)
I’ve also never had a doctor who has rejected me getting hormones, I don’t think SM is a reason they would, if that’s a worry of yours. If communicating through a notebook is more anxiety inducing than speech for you like it is for some people, having pre-written notes to read off of in an appointment is something a lot of people even without SM do, and it allows for ‘rehearsing’
As for being almost fully financially and materially dependent on your parents, I’m sorry to say I don’t have as much advice for that… Finding income without the ability to speak is *tough* on its own without the debilitating anxiety too >.<
For my own parent I spent weeks writing and rewriting a note to come out through, and nearly passed out handing it over before hiding for a few days. I don’t know the specifics of your situation, or if your parent would be accepting and willing to help materially support you in getting HRT, but something I do for things like that is try to remind myself that the panic attacks and feeling like I’m dying will pass and that afterward it’ll have been hopefully worth it for a longer period than the fear lasts.
There’s no pressure at all to come off of anonymous or reveal yourself in any way, I know the dizziness and nausea and heart racing that comes with even sending online messages and totally understand (and I’m sorry to say I think tumblr removed the answer privately function from asks else I’d have answered that way x.x). But if you’d like help coming up with scripts for anything in case it’d be easier to not strictly use your own words, or if you’d just like a friend to chat with who is also a trans woman with SM, you’re welcome to continue sending anonymous asks if that’s comfortable <3 And, there’d be no rush at all if you would like to eventually try chatting privately, you’re even welcome to make a burner email/just send single words or emojis or something to start if that’d be easier ^.^

Your top priority, as a dentist, is — and must be — your patients' health. But building long-term relationships with them takes more than chairside charm. In today's fast-paced, high-tech society, staying connected after the appointment is as crucial as building loyalty, trust, and a robust, healthy practice.
That's where email marketing fits in. Done properly, it doesn't even feel like marketing. It feels like the next natural step in the concern you're already showing. Let's examine more closely why email marketing is such a good idea for dentists, how to do it naturally, and how to leverage tools like Dentostack to do it easy and hassle-free.
Why Email Remains a Dentist's Best Friend
There is a closeness to an email. It's one of the only online mediums where your message appears right in a patient's own little corner of the universe — their inbox. Unlike a Facebook post or a fleeting Instagram post, emails wait patiently for patients to open them when they're ready.
For dentists, this is an elegant but effective means of remaining top-of-mind with patients. Perhaps it's a reminder that they're due for a six-month checkup. Or a well-timed email on the care of braces. Or simply a happy birthday wish. These small gestures remind patients that you're thinking of them outside the dental chair — and that they matter.
By the way, while social media might sometimes feel more "now," there's proof that email still provides a superior return on investment and interaction. It's cheap, scalable, and — if done well — much loved.
Software like Dentostack makes it even simpler. With email marketing built directly into patient management software, you don't have to be a marketing guru to send timely, targeted messages.
Keep Being Helpful, Not Self-Promotional
No one likes receiving endless "special offers" or "limited time specials" in the mail, and definitely not from their physicians. Patients want to receive good counsel, and not a hard sell. That is why best dentist email marketing is all about being based on education and usefulness.
Imagine receiving an email with the subject line "How to Identify Early Symptoms of Gum Disease" or "What to Eat for Healthier Teeth." These aren't sales copy — they're sincere efforts to assist patients in living healthier lives. And that creates unbelievable trust.
Easy-to-read newsletters filled with dental advice, FAQs, or holiday reminders (e.g., back-to-school dental check-ups) are ideal. Even better, they remind patients gently why they need to see a dentist regularly — naturally encouraging patients to schedule appointments without the hard sell.
With Dentostack, dental businesses can take advantage of pre-scripted content copies and suggestions. Thus, busy practices too are able to convey professional, relevant emails without laboring over wordings from day one.
Personalization: Getting Each Patient to Feel Heard
Think back to the last time you opened a generic email that didn't even address you by name. There's a good chance you deleted it immediately.
Patients pick up on when the interaction is personalized. It makes them feel special, not just another name on the list. Even little things — like addressing them by their first name, referencing their last treatment, or reminding them of a follow-up they may need — can impact a lot.
You don't even have to type out every message yourself either. Dentostack's Patient Management System allows dental clinics to automate personalized communication with ease. Whether it's a birthday greeting, a check-in on a recent treatment, or a reminder that it's time for a cleaning, Dentostack makes every email sound like it's been written by hand — even when it's automated.
In a trust-based and relationship-focused profession, that added consideration can give your clinic an advantage.
Best Practices to Get Your Emails Welcomed (and Not Hated)
Even the best of intentions can go wrong if email marketing is overdone or poorly done. Here are some easy tips to make your emails something patients actually want to read:
Keep messages brief and to the point. Patients are busy. Be considerate of their time by keeping one worthwhile subject per email.
Use authentic, simple subject lines. A subject line like "How to Keep Your Smile Shining This Summer" will always be more valued than a clickbait one.
Think mobile-first. The majority of users read email on a phone. Employ big fonts, plain buttons, and plain designs that look good on small screens.
Always have a simple way of scheduling. Either a "Schedule Now" button or an easy reply link, make it simple for patients to respond.
Use frequency cautiously. You don't need to email weekly. Monthly email with plenty of value should be enough to keep your patients engaged without overwhelming them.
Remember: Emailing is not about the sales of services, but about building relationships. When you establish that you are sincerely interested in assisting, patients will return with loyalty and trust.
How Dentostack Helps Dentists Stay Connected Conveniently
Let's be real: Most dental clinics just don't have the time (or staff) to dedicate hours a week to communicating through emails. That's exactly why software like Dentostack exists.
Dentostack combines patient management with simple, effective marketing tools — allowing clinics to automate birthday greetings, post-op reminders, newsletters, and reminders, all without making you feel like you are "marketing" to them and keeping you connected with your patients.
It's designed for dental practices: professional, easy to use, and focused on building real patient relationships, not merely building numbers. With automated and customizable templates, Dentostack allows you to maintain a personal, compassionate relationship with every patient — even as your practice grows. Ultimately, patients need to feel cared for. Not only when they're sitting in your chair, but in the weeks and months in between. A carefully crafted email, delivered at the right moment, can make a one-time visit a lifetime patient. And that's the real strength of email marketing for dentists: not just packing your appointment book, but building a community of patients who believe in you and trust you with their smiles — year after year.

This growing expectation has propelled AI chatbots from a futuristic concept to a crucial component of a successful mobile application. With advancements in chat AI online, the widespread adoption of OpenAI chatbot technology, and rapid strides in AI software development, the ability to integrate sophisticated conversational AI is more accessible than ever.
This guide explores how to build and integrate AI chatbots into your mobile app, leveraging the latest AI technologies, GPT models, and platforms available in 2025. Integrating an AI chatbot in your app is no longer optional—it’s essential for scalability, user engagement, and automation.
Why AI Chatbots Are Crucial in 2025
User expectations have evolved. In an era of instant connectivity, patience is a dwindling commodity. Mobile app users expect immediate answers, highly personalized experiences, and 24/7 support. This is precisely where AI chatbots shine.
A well-implemented AI chatbot online provides instantaneous responses, eliminating wait times and significantly improving user satisfaction. The availability of chat AI free or freemium models, alongside robust AI chatbot online platforms, has lowered the barrier to entry, making sophisticated conversational AI accessible to businesses of all sizes. These chatbots, powered by advanced algorithms, leverage GPT chat AI to understand complex queries and provide relevant, human-like responses.
The rise of conversational AI platforms is not just about convenience; it's a strategic shift towards enterprise AI. Businesses are increasingly recognizing that automation through the best AI chatbot solutions is key to scaling operations without proportionally increasing support costs. Market projections for chatbot usage continue to climb, with analyses consistently predicting billions of dollars in savings and revenue generation for businesses adopting these intelligent assistants. This pervasive demand underscores why understanding AI chatbot development is vital for any modern business.
Types of AI Chatbots for Mobile Apps
Tumblr media
Not all chatbots are created equal. Understanding the different types is crucial for choosing the right solution for your mobile app.
Rule-Based vs. AI-Powered Chatbots:
Rule-based chatbots follow predefined scripts and keywords. They are excellent for simple, repetitive tasks (e.g., FAQs) but lack flexibility.
AI-powered chatbots, in contrast, leverage AI machine learning and deep learning to understand natural language, context, and even user sentiment. They can handle more complex, dynamic conversations and learn over time. This is where the true power of conversational AI chatbots lies.
GPT-Based Conversational Agents: The advent of large language models like those from OpenAI has revolutionized chatbot capabilities. GPT-based conversational agents can generate remarkably coherent and contextually relevant responses, making interactions feel incredibly natural. They excel at creative tasks, summarizing information, and engaging in free-form conversations. This generative-AI-development-service capability is a game-changer for sophisticated app interactions.
Industry-Specific Bots: Chatbots can be highly specialized. For instance, an AI chatbot for a website for a retail brand will focus on product queries and sales, while a healthcare bot will prioritize appointment scheduling and medical information.
Example: Using Google AI Chat or OpenAI GPT APIs, a retail app can deploy a ChatGPT bot that acts as a personalized shopping assistant. In healthcare, a best AI chat might use a platform like Cognigy AI to provide secure, informed answers about prescriptions or common symptoms. These platforms offer the best AI platforms for tailoring solutions to specific industry needs.
Top Features of an Effective Mobile AI Chatbot
Tumblr media
A truly effective mobile AI chatbot goes beyond basic question-and-answer functionality. It’s designed to be an indispensable part of the user experience.
Natural Language Understanding (NLU): This is the core intelligence. An effective NLU system allows the best AI chatbot to accurately interpret user intent, even if the phrasing is ambiguous or informal. This is crucial for seamless conversational chatbot interactions.
Multi-language Support: In our globalized world, supporting multiple languages is critical for reaching diverse user bases. A top-tier chatbot can detect and respond in the user's preferred language.
API Integrations: To be truly useful, a chatbot needs to connect with backend systems. Robust API integrations allow the chatbot to retrieve real-time data (e.g., order status, account balance) and perform actions (e.g., book appointments, process payments). This is a cornerstone of AI software development.
AI + Human Handoff: For complex or sensitive queries that the bot cannot handle, a seamless handoff to a human agent is essential. The chatbot should intelligently identify when human intervention is needed and transfer the conversation smoothly, providing the human agent with the full chat history.
Voice-Based AI Talking and Smart Suggestions: The trend towards ai talking capabilities is strong. Users increasingly expect to interact with their apps through voice commands. Beyond just responding, smart suggestions—predicting user needs or offering relevant follow-up questions—enhance the user experience significantly. Think of how a chatbot AI can anticipate your next question. This elevates the standard chatbot AI open experience.

Integrating Chatbots into iOS and Android Apps
Tumblr media
Seamless integration is paramount for a positive user experience.
Native vs. Cross-Platform Integration (Flutter, React Native):
Native integration (Swift/Kotlin) offers the best performance and access to device-specific features but requires separate codebases for iOS and Android.
Cross-platform frameworks, like Flutter and React Native, allow you to write code once and deploy on both platforms, saving time and resources. Many custom AI development company teams leverage these for efficiency.
API Endpoints and SDKs: Most chatbot platforms provide APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) or SDKs (Software Development Kits) to facilitate integration. Your mobile app will communicate with the chatbot backend through these endpoints, sending user queries and receiving responses. Chat UI Considerations: The user interface (UI) of the chat window within your app is critical. It should be intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and consistent with your app's overall design. Features like typing indicators, message timestamps, and rich media support enhance the experience of your chat AI bot.
Privacy & GDPR/CCPA Compliance: When dealing with user data, especially sensitive information, ensuring strict adherence to privacy regulations like GDPR (Europe) and CCPA (California) is non-negotiable. This involves data encryption, explicit consent, and transparent data handling policies, a key consideration for any AI software development company.
Use Cases by Industry
AI chatbots are proving transformative across a diverse range of industries:
Retail: Smart Shopping Assistants An AI retail chatbot can guide customers through product discovery, offer personalized recommendations based on browse history, answer real-time questions about product specifications, and even assist with checkout processes. Imagine an AI chat website directly integrated into your online store for instant customer support.
Healthcare: Symptom Checkers, Appointment Bots: Secure chatbots can provide preliminary symptom assessment, help users find relevant information about conditions, schedule or reschedule appointments, and send medication reminders. AI for business intelligence here can optimize patient flow and resource allocation.
Banking: Customer Service, Fraud Alerts: AI-powered bots can handle routine customer service inquiries (e.g., balance checks, transaction history), provide instant fraud alerts, and even assist with loan applications. AI fraud detection integrated with chatbots adds an extra layer of security and proactive support.
E-commerce: Abandoned Cart Bots: These chatbots can proactively re-engage customers who have left items in their cart, offering discounts or assistance to complete the purchase, thereby boosting conversion rates. This demonstrates the direct business impact of AI in mobile app development.

They can bring deep experience in AI application development services.
Future Trends
The evolution of AI chatbots is relentless, driven by advancements in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and computational power.
AI-Powered Voice Bots: The integration of sophisticated voice recognition and natural language generation will make voice interaction with apps as seamless as talking to a human. This pushes the boundaries of AI talking.
Visual AI + Chat (Image-Based Customer Queries): Future chatbots will increasingly incorporate computer vision AI, allowing users to upload images to ask questions (e.g., "What is this plant?" or "Where can I buy this outfit?"). This transforms the chatbot AI bot into a multimodal assistant.
AI + Deep Learning for More Personalized Interactions: Deep learning models will enable chatbots to understand complex user emotions, adapt their tone, and provide highly nuanced, empathetic responses, leading to truly personalized experiences that go beyond simple data points.
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation): Combining large language models with a reliable knowledge base allows chatbots to provide highly accurate, up-to-date, and verifiable information, mitigating the risk of "hallucinations" seen in earlier GPT chat AI models.
Omnichannel AI Assistants: Chatbots will evolve beyond a single platform, offering consistent, seamless experiences across mobile apps, websites, social media, and even voice assistants, creating a unified customer journey. This represents the pinnacle of enterprise AI in customer interaction.
Challenges and Best Practices
While the potential of AI chatbots is immense, developers and businesses must navigate common pitfalls.
Common Pitfalls in Development: These include a lack of clear objectives, insufficient or biased training data, poorly designed conversational flows that lead to frustration, and neglecting continuous monitoring and optimization after launch. A free AI chatbot might be a good starting point, but scaling requires careful management.
Ensuring Data Privacy & Compliance (GDPR, HIPAA): Handling user data requires robust security measures and strict adherence to regulations. This is particularly crucial in sensitive sectors like healthcare and finance. Partnering with an AI software development company that has a strong focus on compliance is key.
Keeping Conversations Human-like: The ultimate goal is to make the interaction feel natural and not robotic. This requires careful attention to persona, empathy, humor (where appropriate), and the ability to gracefully handle edge cases or when the bot doesn't understand. The best conversational AI platform will provide tools for this.

Self-Help Marriage Counseling Worksheets: When to Use Them, Why They Work, and When to Go Deeper
Marriage can feel like a constant dance between connection and miscommunication, love and logistics, spark and stress. Maybe you're in a season where things feel off—not broken, just... off. Or maybe you keep cycling through the same argument on repeat, hoping for a new result. You’re not alone, and you're not failing. In fact, you might just be in the perfect place to explore self help marriage counseling worksheets.
Why People Turn to Self Help Marriage Counseling Worksheets
Let’s get real: Not everyone is ready (or able) to jump straight into therapy or coaching. Maybe:
You’re unsure how serious the issue is.
You're both juggling work, kids, and everything else, and can't coordinate schedules.
One partner is hesitant to "talk to someone."
You're the one carrying the emotional load and you're tired of waiting for something to change.
In these moments, self help marriage counseling worksheets can feel like a lifeline. They give you something tangible to work on together or individually. They offer a starting point—a way to put language to what you're feeling and clarity to what you're missing.
"The worksheet was what finally helped me realize I wasn’t crazy for feeling so unseen. It gave me words. And it gave him a way to hear me without shutting down." —Sasha
When Worksheets Can Actually Help Your Marriage
Not all tools are created equal, but the best self help marriage counseling worksheets do more than fill space—they spark connection, clarity, and communication.
Here are some key situations when these tools shine:
1. When You’re Missing Connection But Don’t Know Why
Maybe you’re not fighting, but the relationship feels more like co-parents or roommates. Worksheets that explore emotional needs, love languages, or shared rituals can guide you back to each other.
Try this: Spark Cards (30 days of mini challenges and questions to rebuild curiosity and connection).
2. When You Keep Arguing About the Same Thing
Recurring conflicts usually point to unspoken needs or misaligned expectations. Worksheets that walk you through reflective listening or identify your conflict cycles can help break the loop.
Try this: Communication Scripts Guide (a free tool that gives you conversation openers and examples for tricky topics).
3. When You’re Doing All the Mental Load
The invisible labor of life—managing schedules, meals, appointments, emotions—often falls disproportionately. If resentment is creeping in, it’s time to get that load out of your head and onto paper.
Try this: Mastering the Mental Load Workbook
4. When You're in a Busy Season and Don’t Want to Lose Your Relationship in the Chaos
Sometimes life is just a lot. Worksheets that help you communicate well during chaos can keep your relationship grounded.
Try this: 3-Part Private Audio Series (mental load, resentment, sex drive—because pretending it’s all fine doesn’t help).
What Makes a Good Marriage Counseling Worksheet?
You want more than fluff. The best worksheets are:
Guided, not generic: They help you dig into real emotions and patterns.
Simple enough to do during nap time: Because no one has time for a 40-page packet.
Supportive, not shaming: You need tools that build empathy, not guilt.
Many couples have never been taught how to talk like a team. These worksheets are your crash course in starting that shift.
“We used worksheets as a way to reconnect after a tough season. They helped us say things we were afraid to admit out loud.” —Community member
When Worksheets Aren’t Enough (And What to Do Instead)
Sometimes a worksheet is a good start, but not a complete solution. Here are some signs it’s time to go deeper:
You're using the tools, but nothing is shifting.
One of you shuts down or gets defensive whenever deeper issues come up.
You need someone to reflect your patterns and blind spots back to you.
You're craving accountability and encouragement to keep growing.
In these cases, it’s not a failure of the worksheet—it’s a sign that you’ve reached the next level of your growth.
That’s where coaching can be powerful. In my Relationship Blueprint Calls, we look at the whole picture: your communication, your connection, your mental load, and your shared values. Then we create a custom action plan to help you move forward together.
How to Start With Worksheets (Without Overwhelm)
You don’t have to overhaul your marriage this weekend. Start small:
Pick one focus area. Maybe communication, maybe resentment, maybe rebuilding intimacy.
Choose one resource. (I’ve got several listed above based on what you're dealing with.)
Set a time to do it. Even just 20 minutes a week.
Commit to curiosity, not criticism. This is about learning each other, not "fixing" your partner.
Final Thoughts: You’re Not Alone, and You’re Not Too Far Gone
Your relationship deserves care. You deserve clarity. Whether you’re dipping your toe in with self help marriage counseling worksheets or ready to jump into deeper support, I want you to know: there’s no shame in needing help. And there’s power in taking the first step.
If you're ready to start that step today, grab the free Communication Scripts or explore the audio series and mental load workbook. If you want personalized support, let’s talk about a Relationship Blueprint Call.
Because you don’t have to figure this out alone. And you don’t have to keep having the same fight again and again.

Kirsten Poon from Edmonton Lists 4 Easy Ways to Start Using AI
Tumblr media
Figuring out what products are doing well can be tricky without the right tools. Kirsten Poon recommends simple AI programs that track sales patterns and help business owners plan better. These tools can show what sells best at certain times of year or alert teams when stock is low.
She says that using AI in this way can help teams save time and focus on bigger tasks. The good news is that these tools are easy to set up. Some platforms offer templates, so business owners don’t need to write their own scripts. You can also train the chatbot using past customer questions and answers.
For companies in Edmonton that work with customers daily, this can be a useful first step.
1. Use AI Chatbots to Answer Common Questions
If your business gets a lot of customer questions like store hours, product details, or booking info an AI chatbot can take care of the basics. These bots can be added to your website and are trained to respond to frequent questions so your staff doesn’t have to.
Kirsten Poon often shows business owners how these tools work by walking through simple examples. You don’t need to write code or hire a developer. Many chatbot services have ready-made options where you just fill in the answers. This can save your team time and make sure customers get quick replies, even outside of business hours.
2. Learn from Customer Feedback with AI
AI tools can help sort and analyze customer reviews, survey responses, or social media comments. Instead of reading each one manually, businesses can quickly spot common issues or positive trends. This helps improve services or products based on what people are really saying, saving time and effort.
3. Let AI Help with Schedules
Managing staff schedules or appointments can take time. AI scheduling tools can help by suggesting when to add more staff or flagging quiet times. Many of these tools learn from past booking data and make suggestions you can accept or adjust. Kirsten Poon says even basic versions of these tools can make a difference, especially for Edmonton businesses that rely on regular customer flow.
4. Use AI Writing Tools to Save Time
Writing takes time, whether it’s for emails, website content, product descriptions, or social media updates. AI writing tools can help create drafts, improve grammar, and make your message clearer. You can enter a few ideas, and the tool suggests full sentences or even entire paragraphs. This is helpful for people who don’t write often or need to produce content quickly. It doesn’t replace your voice, it just helps speed up the process and gives you a better starting point. This means more time to focus on other parts of your business.
Starting Small Makes a Big Difference
AI doesn’t have to be a big project. Kirsten Poon reminds local business owners that starting small is the smartest move. Choose one task that takes up time or repeats often, and try using AI there. Once you see how it helps, it’s easier to explore more.
By keeping things simple and focusing on real needs, businesses in Edmonton can use AI to support their work, not replace it. Whether you’re running a retail shop, a clinic, or a small office, there’s probably one AI tool that could make your week a little easier.
