I will never understand why people hate Cisco because of that one time he got mad at Barry for indirectly causing his brother's death. First of all, that was a very short period of time, he forgave him VERY quickly, and that doesn't define his entire character or his entire relationship with Barry. And second, HIS BROTHER FUCKING DIED. Like, that's kind of a big deal. Does no one in this fandom have siblings??

God, the Lily-Remus fanon friendship is hilarious to me because we never see them interact at all. Remus barely talks about Lily, he’s more focused on James (understandable, as James was the one established to be friends with Remus). Lily’s letter does not mention Remus at all, even as she calls Sirius “Padfoot” and Peter “Wormy” (she gives Peter’s nickname a nickname, there’s definitely some intimacy and friendship there if she’s using nicknames for them). More, it is canon that they didn’t involve Remus in the SK switch, so even if it was mostly Sirius who distrusted Remus, James and Lily still went along with the idea of leaving him ignorant. We can debate all day long if James and Lily also doubted Remus or if they just humored Sirius, it’s Remus himself who says James would’ve considered it the height of dishonor to distrust his friends so he’s not exactly a reliable source on if James actually distrusted him (if he brought up suspicions of Sirius to James, we can safely guess that James would’ve laughed in his face since everyone knew James “trusted [Sirius] above all his other friends” and wouldn’t hear anything bad about him, nobody suspected Peter, and Remus obviously wouldn’t have been present to discussions on his own trustworthiness), but the bottom line remains that Remus was left out of the loop on the Secret Keeper; with their son’s life on the line—as well as their own lives—James and Lily did not trust Remus. Not sure how people got “Remus and Lily were besties” out of canon, it takes a lot of stretching to get there

And they were justified in not trusting him with their son's life, it turns out! Because Remus didn't bother reaching out to Harry after they died, he never mentioned his friendship with them in POA (not until he was forced to), and he never kept in touch with Harry after POA. So it turns out that he didn't care for his best friend's son at all, which is really too bad, after everything that James did for him.

it's officially hallmark christmas movie season in my country which means im getting ads for them everywhere. which made me remember my hilarious revelation from last year that silvio / emma / rio can be fit almost perfectly into the 'rich and kind of asshole big city boyfriend'/'career driven but kind and independent woman'/ 'small town sweetheart' christmas movie archetypes

to be completely honest, the only christmas movie i know by heart is the first two Home Alone movies HAHA

ive said it before and ill say it again, female solidarity needs to fucking go both ways... we NEED more women supporting each other... and idc how lonely i get, im not letting anyone take advantage of me again. no more of this silly bullshit where someone's keeping track of all the "favors" they've done and everything you "owe" them. so many friendships have ended bc i did things out of love and a sense of responsibility, but they just wanted to use me. i want friendships like my marriage - just love going back and forth forever.
