struggles with social cues but before she meets the plastics she isnt really bothered by it? like she doesnt really get that she isnt getting jokes, she assumes she just doesnt find whatever was said funny. but when she meets the plastics and is thrown into survival teenager mode she becomes hyper aware of how she acts and starts fake laughing when everyone else does even if she doesn't necessarily get it

Genuinely adores the mathletes with her whole heart. She thinks they are the coolest people on earth and would be SO excited to learn about their interests and stuff. They helped her become a better person and she knows it.

Always cold so she is the most notorious clothes stealer. Half of her closet is made up of things she stole off Gretchen (regina's clothes were always too small) or Janis or Damien

Leaving Janis during "someone gets hurt reprise" DESTROYED her. after the party was over she locked herself in her bathroom and cried for hours. she felt so disgusted with herself. all she wanted to do was apologised and hug her but by this point she has convinced herself that she needs to keep her status for survival.

When she first meets the mathletes I think it would be adorable to see her get absolutely ECSTATIC. sure she has Janis and Damien but the three of them get along due to their differences. when she meets the mathletes i headcanon that Cady has finally found people who are just like her and I think she would be really excited about that.

She really, really wants to help Gretchen. Like really. She can see right past Gretchen's whole facade and doesnt get why nobody else does. she just wants her friend to be happy.

Why is that the best picture I have of him on hand? Oh well anyway. My wizard! Cybergoth automaton maker who's people were around for the beginning of the elder dragons' time. He was one of the younger ones of his kind and is the last one left after the rest were wiped out in an early dragon rising. He learned the magic he used to become immortal in order to keep the history and memory of his people preserved in some way, and after saving all he could of his own culture, he started trying to work with others across Tyria across the millennia to preserve what parts of their cultures that he could. He's spent the last couple centuries caring for his automatons and the records he's saved and came back out of isolated work to find that his bestie Soo-Won had been corrupted and his ex Isgarren was dealing with the fallout of past mistakes.

He's also the sole guardian over several old gods and demons that have broken into Tyria and tried to claim power that he managed to seal away. Soo-Won had always been busy handling the void (and he trusted her with that) and Isgarren had always been so much more focused on the Kryptis and other demons (which he felt was too narrow sighted), so he handled any threats he saw that the others didn't on his own. That was why he started making automotans, to help with the fact that he couldnt be everywhere at once. He's worked hard to ensure his robot kids will be able to long outlast him and hopefully most of tyria in working order, though he does still stop in to do maintenance on all of them every now and then.

hi. um. roblox ocs :3 their lore takes forever to explain so im just gonna explain the characters instead of the plot.

basically theres 3 of them ok.

cody, a noob who loves playing fighting games and helping people get their footing in them. very silly, very kind, and has a bestie thats a guest named horns [horns is my friends oc :3]. cody ALSO has a bit of a slow moving "curse" that is the result of their arm being Fucking Cut Off. its a corruption in their code that is slowly spreading across their body, which will end up with their entire set of code and body being Basically unraveled from the inside out in a way thats Worse than death ! :D they spend most of their time trying to figure out a way to undo that while still being the same happy person. they see blade [other oc] as a brother figure once the two meet!

blade is a bounty hunter of sorts, who goes after exploiters to make the world safer for people, thanks to his own experiences as a kid with exploiters. he is VERY good at his job, having been training since he was a younger teen, and has been doing his job for anywhere from 15-20 years [havent decided.] his current target is inkcap, his childhood friend and previous crush. its a whole thing. also, hes the one who saved cody from being COMPLETELY killed during their exploiter encounter!

inkcap is . well. the exploiter mentioned previously. instead of their encounter with exploiters driving it to better itself and help others, its trauma [and also blade leaving it when they were both 15 to go on his first mission, and then just. never coming back] had led it to lean into its trauma, and learn the same exploits that hurt it, and more. it decides that if it couldnt be happy anymore, if it lost everything and everyone it loved, then no one else should be able to have these things - because no one tried helping it when it needed it. its the one who attacked cody, and the one blade is currently hunting down - but inkcap is sneaky, and good at its own "job," being the most infamous exploiter - and for good reason.

the whole story with these three is the different ways people deal with trauma, mostly the.. unhealthy ways, and their very, VERY slow path to healing and getting better. it has a happy ending! it just takes a long time to get there. they all have a Lot of stuff to work through.

they would either villainise inkcap to hell into an irredeemable villain, OR turn blade into a budget cop. i hate it so bad but thats just what would happen.

THAT or theyd completely IGNORE the message of the story being about healing from trauma and how some coping mechanisms are unhealthy and turn it into like. a classic "everyone just gets over it" thing and turn the whole trilogy into a shitty action film and ignore the characters trauma and their paths towards healing and it would be so bad and oh god oh god . puts my head in my hands.

theyd also probably turn inkcap into a girl and cody into a boy so like. not a story mishap but a general fuckup theyd do because of how inkcap is an it/they w a romance plot w blade [and also their character model has the "girl torso" from the blocky character pack on roblox] and cody is a they/them with a masc name.

Sora & Haena

So I kind of really enjoy this Webcomic. Its pretty refreshing and I really enjoy how naturally the smart not that social girl Sora and the more Social but not the type to study Haena get along and slowly come together. There was that kiss in the begining bt they didn’t have feelings for each other yet and it wasn’t the linchpin for them realizing their feelings.

I also like how one of the reasons Sora starts to fall for Haena is her personality and how they get along but also how due to Haena’’s influence Sora starts getting more people in her life...but its also not suck a over whelming number or just because of Haena(which could be dangerous if they had a falling out).

Its also really interesting to see the other characters and friends...I’m not gonna lie i wish we saw Sora and the one guy friend hang out more. I definitely pitied him for falling for our main girl who already had someone else she was going to end up with...but i feel like they could have shown that friendship get a bit stronger...especially since there was some odd tension when it came to how he just wanted connect with someone who didn’t seem to care about his handsome face and his sister was the one reading into Sora negatively all on her own.

Plus it could have been interesting to see him and Haena interact more. but I’m glad when he did get shot down Sora was kind about it and it was about her liking someone else.

Sora’s education score rival definitly gave sus vibes for a while with an odd possesivness and her kindof wishing Sora was more isolated again so her Rival would try her best when it came to scores again. I definitly got a ‘she has a sort of crush on Sora but its manifesting in a weird way where if something goes wrong she could go down a dark path’ vibes....but luckly she does get better and she actually starts to help Sora make up with her friends and other aspects...and she didn’t fall into the ‘i’m aware of my crush now so now you have to be with me vibes’ once she saw Sora and Haena kiss whih is refreshing.

She is definitely mean but it was fun to see her learn her lesson she isn’t owed anything about Sora and helped Sora’s best friend with that lesson.

Not gonna lie i thought maybethe besty also had a crush on Sora...but it seems it was understandably friend jealousy and wanting to be special to someone.

maybe the mean girl and the besty will hit it off.

I feel a bit mixed about their fun floaty teacher....I THINK she is a couple with her friend(I don’t know for sure since she is likable and being worried about her well being is something a friend would do to)...but there seems to be a vibe between the teacher and a graduated student of hers...which on one hand is cute and since she no longer is her student its fair game technically(i’m not gonna lie whether i ship it can depend on a case by case basis in fiction...its more of a hard no in reality for me..but in fiction its cute to see someone win over someone they like after that long). but I do wonder if the age gap could be an issue...and technically the teacher did what any good teacher would do.

depending on how the side stories handle it could ship it..but it could be interesting to see her fall for someone else.

The only thing I don’t exactly like is how it handled the dynamic between Haena and her mom. Like they set up that Haena’s mom is often gone for long periods of time due to work so Haena is often alone which helps explan why Haena tried to be out and socializing often. Haena being very understanding that her mom works hard and that the mom was out doing stuff she couldnt when the mom was married to Haena’s dad...but we end up finding out that the mom doesn’t even call or text Haena often and that Haena literally doesn’t see her and the mom hadn’t even mentioned the mom would be on t.v. to her. and WE know how bad Haena’s grades were before Sora started helpingto inspire her to be able to graduate and go to college.

I like how Haena would often be just so happy to see her mom that she wouldn’t approach the mom abot why she doesn’t show up as often..probably fearing rejection or if it would make the mom leave faster.

She ONLY adressed the situation with her mom this time because she was sick and she was stunned that the mom wants to downsize the apartment with no warning and brought up Haena living alone...as Haena’s ONLY comfort had been the fact this house was THEIRS.

I actually do like how the mom was alarmed at her asking if she would abandon her and all this stuff like how th emom must feel ashamed to have her as her daughter and all that and so actually did try to adress why she acts the way she did...which was that after the divorce she paniced knwoing how much influence she had over her daughter...so she thought maybe if she left her to her own devices then the mom won’t be able to fuck her up(luckily Haena did call her out that theh mom was making excuses and taht all she wants was some actuall attention from the mom). not gonna lie if felt like neglect..and it was interesting to see that the mom wasn’t a complete horrible person..she seemed normal and she seemed to love her daughter genuinely...but that even normal people could end up being a bad or neglectful parent. I LIKE that aspect...it felt kind of fast..but I’m not entirely opposed to seeing the mom and daughter try to reconnect....

but what I DON”T understand is the mom just strait up takes her daughter with her abrode..which makes some sense...she was already going to have to travel so couldn’t just cancel it and leaving her daughter after that heartfelt conversation wouldn’t have been a good move. I don;t understand why she didn’t inform the school properly...or give Haena time to say goodbye to her friends.

I don’t understand why Haena didn’t give her friends a heads up or even just a text informing them about her reconnecting with her mom and the abrupt move. it took way too long for Sora to head over to her house just to find another family living there...and Sora LITERALLY confessed the same day Haena got her cold and the mom appeared.

I understand being kind of overwhelmed by all the changes and not contacting immediately...but not telling anyone?

There was a literally point about how Haena knows how it feels lonely to not be contacted and left on read...yet apparently other had tried to contact her but she never contacted them back?

Now I don’t hate the idea in theory...but we only had ONE chapter to address Haena fucking up this badly. but worse is what happeed with her mom over that period of time abroad? did Haena and the mom fix their relationship? we know the mom did tsill have to work late at times...but did Haena have a good time? We know Sora’s words had encourages Haena to try not to be spooked by change...but considering most of this manga has been about Haena trying to prep for teh college tests...it felt odd Haena didn’t bring that up to her mom(though bright side is Haena knows her being smart or dumb isn’t gonna change how teh mom feels about her as the mom does care but is bad at showing it.

It just felt odd it didn’t occur to Haena how hurt she’d make everyone feel esepcially Sora by disappearing like that? did she not fel the erge to tell anyone or bounce her thoughts about her mom? and more did the mom notice how Haena was feelings?

At the very least maybe Haena actually relating to the mom more because now she understands how time can get lost and why the mom might have not contacted her despite caring for her could happen now that Haena did the same thing.

same anon as earlier hi! something else i think is interesting is how mlb as a show views sacrifice and selfishness.

adrien agreste is incredibly selfless to harming degrees. getting killed as a hero. getting pushed around as a civilian. everything around what's best for him is decided by someone else. he has very few moments in the actual show where he's allowed to make the snap decision to be anything other than a self sacrificing doll. and this leads to harm of people other than him, too, like with how he decided to deal with lila. compared with marinette, who, time and time again has made selfish decisions that lead to harm in more direct ways.

but the thing is that neither of these traits are shown to be inherently bad by the show, which is SO fucking rare. marinette sacrifices more as a civilian, adrien sacrifices more as a hero. and they both have an excess of (respectively) selfishness and selflessness. THATS treated as wrong. its incredibly refreshing to see some kind of media that says "thinking only about yourself is wrong, but thinking only about others is wrong, too."

anyways i think a lot about the themes of balance in the show, creation and destruction are central but arent the only way that the show uses balance to compare and contrast characters and situations

do not ever be sorry for rambling i love it. and god youre so right. like adrien is so self sacrificial and doesnt seem to care abt himself as much as he should- like my man has essentially killed himself (as chat noir) in front of ladybug multiple times to save her without understanding why that might be super upsetting for her. i think part of that comes from his insecurities abt not being needed or necessary which- to be fair. the ladybug miraculous is fundamentally necessary to defeat akumas. but weve seen time and time again that she cant defeat them without chat noir. like when he was cat walker and she couldnt figure out what to do with her lucky charm bc she needed the real chat noir. and adrien gave up his miraculous bc he didnt feel it was necessary and he thought she'd work better with someone else and. agghhhh it makes me so insane. hes always compromising and sacrificing and giving things for others and like . man its just so SAD. & im hoping he'll like. figure out his self worth anf that thinking abt himself is okay actually in later seasons but with the way kids shows work hes probably like. metatextually doomed to that pattern of behaviour for at least several more seasons if not forever<3

and marinette i feel tends to do more selfish things when shes emotional and not thinking thru her actions, & then realizes her mistakes and has to fix them later, but when shes thinking thru what she does before she does it shes also very selfless (but not to the worrying extent that adrien is). like all the times where shes making insane plans to try to stop chloe/lila/kagami in the earlier seasons/whoever from talking to adrien, or when tikki has to stop her from using being ladybug for personal reasons, giving adrien the snake miraculous (and accidentally locking him in a 5 minute long time loop for months tho she couldnt have known he was fucking crazyinsane in love with her lol) when luka was the one who needed to use it, all the times shes tried to expose lila.. its all in this like. rush of emotion and when she stops to go Hey. what if i actually did not do that . shes able to realize her mistakes and fix them and learn from them (until she also is doomed to repeat this forever due to being trapped in a kids cartoon lol)

though she also does show a similar tendency to adrien when she tries to take on being guardian and handing out miraculouses etc on her own when she is FOURTEEN YEARS OLD(!!!!!!!!!) and has geometry homework to worry about. bestie . bff. girlie. u do not have to do this alone !!!!!! u literally have a partner to help u please learn to accept help u r not burdening people u r not endangering them i prommy

editing this post since apparently people are still finding it but anyways while im not going to take the post down because i personally just dont like deleting posts and i still agree with some of the things said id prefer that if you find this post that you just. didnt interact with it, at least not if youre not going to be respectful. this post is from august, before the clip of phil saying hes fine w qpr hcs (even if i have complicated feelings on that clip, i dont want to risk getting into discourse about this shit again).

it started a giant discussion and got me people harassing me and talking behind my back, one person even telling me people had groups talking about me, it got me being called arophobic, anti-polyam, claimed i was calling people racist and misogynistic, i got told i didnt have friends, i had people vague me and misinterpret what i said and meant, and through it all i had a total of maybe two or three people at most that disagreed with me and were respectful about it. everyone else that disagreed either resorted to vaguing me (or others that stood by me) or they insulted me to my face (in some cases insulting me then blocking me so i couldnt respond).

many of these people were adults. i had recently turned 16 the month before. i dont mean to pull the whole "oo im a minor and neurodivergent" card but the shit that came from this post, that had at the time barely even reached over 500 notes at the discourse's height, genuinely made me relapse in a way that i just. couldnt handle. i was on meds, i took care of my pets, i distracted myself, i talked to my friends, even talked to my therapist, and it didnt help because every time i came back i found another person giving me shit for it. one of my friends tried to defend me and got people targeting them, insulting them and saying increasingly concerning things about me, and they had to leave the fandom for a bit because of it.

i dont trust a good portion of the fandom because of this mess. i dont trust a lot of big blogs or aeduo fans or techno fans or phil fans because of this. its genuinely concerning to me that a post like this caused harassment, even in places i havent seen, maybe even to people i havent seen. even if this post is still vaguely accurate to how i feel about the situation (mainly, how i feel about it all overshadowing kristin and phils relationship) and i still stand by my idea that qprs count as shipping and that because they arent strictly platonic for many people that i cant be comfortable with qp aeduo, i just. dont want people interacting with this, at least not unless you just want to spread the info in this edit or because you want to say something respectfully. otherwise, i just. want this to be left behind me. even to this day i still get paranoia spikes and nearly panic remembering everything that happened because of this post, and being reminded of it just. sucks. if you want to clear anything up feel free to contact me in some way, but if you see this in the tags while browsing somehow, sorry for the long post, and thank you if you read all of this. have a good day

I DID NOT NEED THIS RN, god can you imagine how emotional it would be?? they’ve both changed so much in the last few months and neither of them know how to broach the subject of whats happened. 

shes so hurt and angry at him for not teling her whats happening, he maybe her dad but hes also her best friend and they tell each other everything so the fact he didnt trust her to tell her this makes her so upset, and also the fact he didnt allow her on his visitors list (i can imagine him doing this) so she couldnt see him for months literally broke her heart, her dads the one stable thing shes had in her life and suddenly hes gone and she doesnt know if shes ever gonna see him again and no one has any answers and all she wants is the one person she cant have and shes so mad...

and spencer, oh spencer he doesnt even know how to explain himself to her, he can see how its affected her hes not stupid he knows shes been through something traumatic and all the pain and worries in his life hes tried to shelter her from has hit her harder than he couldve imagined and he just feels so guilty. he thinks he was doing the right thing protecting her from visiting him in prison, no one needs to see their dad all beat up and suffering, especially not his innocent daughter, the one who cried for a week when she accidentally squashed a lady bug... and he can see how betrayed she feels at the fact he didnt tell her anything.

after the initial reunion full of hugs and tears its just awkward, from the ride home to dinner to the days after before he has to leave again to deal with cat adams... they’re both hurting and theyre so alike that neither of them want to be the first to say something, all he wants is to hold his little girl in his arms and tell her how sorry he is for everything he put her through and all she wants is to hug her dad and tell him how much she loves him but instead they say nothing avoid each other like the plague... everyone tells spencer to give her time but spencers had too much time away from her and he just wants the avoidance to stop.

and it does, after scratch is pronounced dead and the team have come to terms with everything that has happened in the last few months spencer goes home and just breaks down, its late and he knows his daughter is home from the faint light thats coming from her room but he doesnt want to disturb her so he crawls into his room and lets go, his body is shaking from the tears and his choked sobs are muffled against his hands.. he can hear shuffling from the room next to his and the sound of a door creaking and he knows what’s coming next... he hears the faint whisper of “dad?” come from behind the door and the sight of the door knob turning and his breath hitches in his throat because its the first time he’s heard such tenderness in his voice, in anyones voice as a matter of fact for so long.

“im so sorry.” is all he says, its all he can say and she just nods, she understands and shes sure she’ll know the whole story one day but today all she knows is that her dad needs to know shes there for him and she loves him, she cant begin to imagine how alone and scared he felt without her and she starts to feel bad for acting so cold, she knows her dad would never intentionally hurt her or do anything that would make her feel pain and she knows he never intended for this to happen so slowly, as she feels the mix of their tears fall against her hair, she starts to feel her anger melt.... “its okay...it’ll be okay.” she says and despite all her doubts and fears she knows shes right, it will all be okay as long as she has her dad and he has her.

you were completely oblivious to the fact that kenma and lev were on the ground, bleeding after falling, or the shout at the distance

1:What made you ship it

multiple things it was like god was forcing me to perceive them!

i was on the ao3 tag on day 2 of proseka being out bc i was that impatient about translations and ended up stumbling upon a ruinene fic there (no but its actually so funny bc not only was i not interested in wxs at the beginning, and even though i read every oc's basic description before the game came out, it wasnt until that moment that it clicked in my friends to lovers loving brain that "oh shit you can do childhood friends to lovers w them huh" . this really was the beginning of the end)

anyways it got worse as i read wxs' main story bc i realized "oh no im starting to enjoy them a lot uh ohh" (i blame things like rui only agreeing to join wxs at first so nene could have a chance to try performing again, "you have a bad personality/that makes two of us", nene being happy that rui's started enjoying doing shows w tsukasa and emu, rui snapping at tsukasa for making nene cry and tells her she doesnt have to push herself to perform anymore, etc. i never recovered from any of that i never will). then it got WORSE when my brainrot was getting enabled by my bestie. then it got WORSE WORSE when i thought about nene while listening to yuukei yesterday one day and by law if a character exhibits takane enomoto behavior i cant must get attached. so yeah now im here

2: What are your favorite things about the ship?

these two are my favorite depiction of the childhood friends trope in any piece of media (i know a lot of the things i love arent top tier writing for that to mean a lot, but also idc theyre the best)

this sounds weird on a post of me talking about a ship trope i love but i get really annoyed whenever im watching/reading something w childhood friends and a romantic aspect is applied to it bc itll always feel either like the romantic love is forced or that the platonic love feels forced. its such an easy trope to fuck up and it hurts bc its my favorite one. ruinene doesnt have this problem tho they stay winning like always

like theres a special kind of softness that comes through when they interact (using this as an excuse to remind people about how soft rui's voice gets whenever hes talking to nene one on one bc that killed me the first time i heard it). and you could look at it superficially like "it makes since they've known each other for 10 years" or smth but then when you learn more about their pasts its especially heartwarming to know that these two people who have such a hard time connecting with others were able to keep each other so close

and its even better when you remember wonder halloween showed that rui and nene did drift apart at some point in middle school which were very difficult times for both of them, yet they were still thinking about each other during that time

like even when rui was going through his depressive episode where believed he would only be able to create shows by himself forever, he still wanted to help nene after she developed stage anxiety and quit acting bc he knew that she loved singing and performing shows more than anything. hell i wouldnt be surprised if pre main story he tried multiple times to help her overcome her anxiety and main story was almost like a final try. and when nene was finally able to go on stage again SHE DID IT BC SHE WANTED RUI TO COME BACK TO WXS BC THATS THE HAPPIEST SHES SEEN IN HIM IN SO LONG AND SHE DOESNT WANT HIM TO BE ALONE AGAIN SO SHE WAS WILLING TO FACE HER FEARS AND PERFORM W TSUKASA AND EMU IN THE SHOW SO THEY COULD BRING RUI BACK GOD IM GONNA IMPLODE

ANYWAYS their comfort level is very appealing to me and i love it whenever it comes up.

also the way they get whenever the other is overcomes a problem is great, like when rui was able to make up w tsukasa in wonder halloween. nene's relieved that she could support rui during this situation bc she couldnt reach out to him during middle school and how she wants him to rely on her more bc she's his friend (the way she specifies between “weve known each other since we were kids” and “and also, we’re friends” made me cry for 10 minutes the first time i read it fr bc she wanted it to be clear to him that he isnt alone anymore and that their close friendship isnt just some old memory they were besties as kids and she's still gonna be his bestie and god im becoming more and more ridden w illness as I say this). theres also when nene is able to accomplish something difficult during a performance (perfecting her christmas solo during holy night and singlehandedly improvising her scene to save the play during mermaid) and rui just always looks like he just fell in love w her every time (this is partially a joke but also no whoever rigs the live2d models needs to answer for that shit) and afterwards he’s just very proud of her and doesnt let her forget it and ahhhhhhh stop being fond of each other it makes me lose my mind ahhhhhhhhh

theyre so funny together too. theyre both such little shits that i love watching them whenever they pull a tag team roast on tsukasa or when rui is planning some bullshit and nene just accepts having to witness her bestie's actions. this isnt even mentioning the comedic goldmine that is picnic. the fact they were out having a nice cute hike date so nene could build stamina for their shows meanwhile mizuki ena airi and shizuku are on the other side of the mountain actually in danger of dying will never not put me in hysterics

its like theyre so imperfect in their own ways and its caused problems for them in terms of how they interact w the world but at least they love each other and have for so long and its like YEAH THATS THE LONG TERM CHILDHOOD BEST FRIENDSHIP EXPERIENCE THANK YOU

also this is more of a meta/gay aspect to all this but i,,, absolutely love the way they sound together in songs. out of everyone in the game they're my favorite voices. once again i plan on doing a meta one of these days so i don't wanna go too in depth about this rn but I disagree w the idea that ruinene are just the average childhood friends trope and that there's nothing special about them (re: why i love them tangent).

as much as i dont like it when the units are seen as only 2 dynamics bc then other dynamics dont get to have as much content (like how a lot of vbs content feels like anhane | akitouya yeah i get bored of that), i will without guilt turn a blind eye if its ruinene content. It can be story moments it can be song moments it can be card cameos idc if it becomes unfair bc I get fed for another week and that’s what matters sry <3

oh yeah and nijiiro stories is one of the best commissions in project sekai like im talking in the top 10 if im lowballing i wont take any constructive criticism on this (i am only half joking)

You were walking around the city for hours now, you left the apartment just before sundown and now it’s raining and you think you see the light from the sun turning the clouds lighter on the horizon. You came home after a long day of work, of fighting a villain, of almost not making it back this time, to find your boyfriend, who you didnt even live with mind you, fucking someone else on your bed. You didn’t say anything, you just walked out, quietly, he didn’t even notice. 

The buzzing in your hand caught your attention, making you aware of the heaviness of something in your palm, you raise it to see and then remember it’s your phone. The action causes it to wake up, showing your notifications, 50 missed calls from him and almost as many texts and double the amount of calls and texts from your two best friends

The screen catches the water from the rain as it flows down the surface, you try to unlock your phone, a sudden urge to not be alone hitting you, but your thumb was too cold and wet to unlock with the fingerprint. You go to press in the buttons but the screen doesnt recognize your fingers either, you’re starting to panic, to hyperventilate when the screen lights up, you relax seeing the name pop up and try to answer but you were shaking so much, you brought the phone to your lips, sticking your tongue out to click the green button. 

“Fucking bastard is going to die” he says as he wraps you in a towel, pulling you to his chest, “y/n im so sorry. You’re staying here with me for now on, i’ll go to your place tomorrow and get some of your things and get your key back from that fucker.” he was pissed, fuming, you haven't seen him this mad since high school “Katsuki i couldn't possibly put you out” he holds his finger to your lips “shut up, im insisting, plus this place is too big for just me” you chuckle through the shivers that are now finding your body, your skin and bones finally reacting to the cold as your body shakes uncontrollably. “T-t-thank you K-Kacchan” he sighs and takes your hand, pulling you with him down the hall to the bathroom. 

After a really nice shower, you exit his big ass fancy shower that was really more like a spaceship, you had to use a step stool to get inside it. It had multiple different heads, a steam option, and could even convert into a jacuzzi, if only you didn’t feel like a bath was too close to being a ‘you’ flavored soup. 

You find a change of clothes for you waiting on his bed, a pair of his sweats and one of his shirts, you brought them to your nose, taking a deep breath. They smelled like downey, the yellow kind your parents used to use, it smelt comforting. You slip on his clothes and feel like you’re getting a hug from him. 

When you make it back to the kitchen you have the shivers again, your wet hair making your back wet. He takes one look at you, arms hugged around your body, and he throws you over his shoulder and takes you right back to his room. He sets you down on the bed and then takes a hold of his hood and pulls his hoodie off, shoving it down over your head. “I’m making you some tea and then you are going to talk to me more if you feel like it okay?” you nod with a small smile as you pop your arms through the sleeves. 

Its been six months, Bakugou has helped you heal through your pain, he got you some things from your apartment and got your key back. He also officially, and with pleasure, told your ex to fuck off, that it was over and to never contact you again, with too many threats to count. He really enjoyed it and wanted to do it for a long time but he’d never tell you that. You cut your ex out of your life, easily letting him go because if you caught him cheating once who knows how long he did it, you were 100% okay with never seeing him again, the hard part was waiting for the feelings to go away, to rid yourself of the habit that was your ex. 

You tried to go back to your apartment after a few weeks, it was fine for the most part, you found a completely new bed in your room courtesy of Bakugou and although he denies it wholeheartedly you know no one else would have done that,... but after a few days you called Bakugou, telling him that it just felt empty and that it didn’t feel like your home anymore, he invited you to move in immediately and you never looked back. 

Your new bed and all the furniture you didn't sell sit proudly in the spacious spare bedroom at Bakugous apartment. He was right, this apartment was way too big for one person.

Bakugou had girls over periodically and you didn’t mind them at first, you even made them breakfast sometimes, on the off chance Bakugou slept late and didn’t kick them out immediately. He’s never liked the morning after, the girls he has dated were just to fill the hole in his soul made by the feelings he has developed for you. He’s trying to find one that makes him feel as electric as you make him feel. 

After a month of random girls you start to notice yourself resenting the girls you hear him with, the way they fake moan in the bedroom, loudly just so you will hear and then they will give you evil stares as they walk out in the morning. You asked Yao-Momo for some advice once, calling her after you hear another loud girl as you went to the kitchen for some ice cream, losing your appetite you left the ice cream on the counter and just left the kitchen (just eyerolling when he tried to give you shit about it) . “just ask him to stop” you sigh “I cant do that. I dont want to cause him any trouble. I just dont know why he has to go for girls like that” you fake throw up and she laughs “y/n do you think you like bakugou?” she asks and you gasp “of course not! He’s my best friend! And hes bakugou! I couldnt possibly…” you pause for a while as you think, were you really discovering feelings for the blasty explosion boy? This was such a rub. She just laughs at you from over the phone “unclench your jaw y/n. Dont be so tense” you realize shes right as you release your teeth, relaxing your face and jaw “you know me so well” you say with a laugh “of course i do. I’m your real best friend. Not some ill tempered boy. If you like him great, tell him and he’ll stop fucking randoms or if you dont like him tell him to stop fucking randoms so loud” you laugh “so wise Yao-momo, me lovely sensei Yao-Momo” she laughs at you before you guys have to hang up, both having work in the morning. 

After the next few days you realized just how in love you were with him, getting more and more annoyed with the girls he brought home, not even noticing that they were showing up less and less, pretty soon the random girls have stopped coming over all together, not that you knew that, you still heard what seemed to be sex noises from his room every once in a while, you just assumed he kicked them out right after, not that he was thinking about you and … you know wink wink  

Another six months later  you’re with him on a mission, the villains just keep coming wave after wave, a quirk controlling their (dead before you even came around) bodies, it was never ending, if you stopped fighting they would kill you and you didn’t know who the villain was or where they were. You had your agencies looking for them and until then you had to fight, to keep these bodies occupied so they didn't bring chaos anywhere else. You didn’t talk during the fighting but you both were paying more attention to making sure that the other was fine that you ended up just fighting the villains going after each other. When you get home, battered, bruised, and covered in sweat and blood and many tears, you each take turns showering in his amazing shower, you couldn't use a normal shower for your sore muscles. 

You made a meal for you both quietly as he showered, too tired to speak or do more than was required, when he came to find you he almost cried with relief at your home cooked meal, he was starving. You ate together in silence, both reflecting on the battle, both reliving every moment where you almost lost the other, where you almost lost the fight, feeling more and more anxious the more you thought about it. What would you have done without him? You didnt want to lose him and regret never telling him, but you know you are way to exhausted to speak. 

You stare at each other in the hallway, both wanting to say something, to not leave each other yet. You turn to go and he grabs your hand, pulling you with him into his room before climbing in bed and pulling you along with him down into his soft comfortable bed, he pulls you to his chest and you feel all your stress and anxiety leave your body. He kisses the back of your head “I love you” he whispers into your hair, the only energy he has left. You turn in his arms to look at him and see his eyes blink slowly, he can hardly hold them open anymore. You smile softly “I love you” you whisper back and he sighs, a happy smile on his lips as he lets his eyes close “good” he says and you chuckle, your eyes closing as you lean forward, pressing a soft kiss to his lips before allowing yourself to fall asleep, the feeling of his arm around you and the sound of his soft breaths comforting you.

(1) ok so. tyler’s family were scary but they ended up being so nice. when we first got there his brother asked me how much tyler paid me to be there 💀 tyler nudged him and said knock it off. then his brother said “well tyler, glad youre finally bringing a girl home” and his mom had come in just then. and scolded ty’s brother lol. his sister just said hi from the couch and ty went up to her and whispered something. and then they did a handshake which was so cute 🥺 i asked ty’s mom if she needed help with dinner. she took me up on that. it was nice talking to her. she was really sweet. we talked and even got to joking around. so thats good. ty’s dad came home in the meantime and said hi. he talked to me a bit too. ty’s sister was still a bit standoff-ish at dinner. she wasnt mean. just didnt really interact with me. she was the hardest to win over. but she did compliment my outfit. i appreciated that i changed three times she mentioned she needed new clothes for when school starts. i told her if she needed a shopping buddy to let me know. and she was like “really? can we go tomorrow?” and i looked at ty bc i had no clue what he had planned. and he sighed and was like “well i had plans to show her around tomorrow” and i gave him a look and he goes “but i guess we can do that after you guys get back” so next day i woke up before ty and got ready. then just sat there until he was up bc i was too scared to go downstairs alone lol. when we did go it was just his parents awake. his mom had me sit with them while ty made coffees lol. his mom told me they enjoyed having me here. and that tyler hasnt brought a girl over since his hs gf. who wasnt allowed to spend the night lol. and she told me he seemed really happy and…in l-word with me 🙈🙈🙈 oh and she said to not pay too much attention to his sister’s behavior bc she’s just jealous she’s not getting all of ty’s attention lmao. then later i took his sister shopping. we found a pair of earrings we both thought were cute so i bought myself and her a pair. she was really thankful and sweet. we ended up talking and she warmed up to me. especially when i said “you know youre just as amazing as tyler says” and she was like “what?” and i said “he talks about you all the time. i was really excited to meet you because he always says youre his best friend” i think she started to like me more after that. idk i tried to show her that im not stealing her brother from her lol. oh and me and her talked about boys and she mentioned this one guy. i was like oh is he cute and she blushed. i go omg do you have a crush on him. she was so red and told me i couldnt tell ty lol. when we got back though, ty’s brother had friends over. they were asking his sister who her friend was. she rolled her eyes lol. so sassy. then they were introducing themselves to me and ty’s brother was like “she’s not interested. she’s in college and is my brother’s girlfriend” i had to hold myself back from laughing that im in college came first and then ty’s gf. but in their introductions i learned that the boy ty’s sister has a crush on is her brother’s friend 🙈 oh girl. i gave her a look. she ran upstairs to put her stuff away lol.

(2) oh and during all this ty was at the store bc his mom sent him to run errands lol. so i chilled with her. helped her get some stuff ready since we were doing a cookout for dinner that night. ty finally came back. his mom shooed us out of the kitchen and told us to go have fun and then when we were putting on our shoes to go she yells “not too much fun though” 🙈 ty’s brother and his friends were snickering. high schoolers smh 🙈 so ty drove us and showed me around. it was fun. it was cute hearing his stories and memories and seeing how excited he got at some things. tbh i think i was giving him heart eyes more than i was looking around 🙈🙈 idk if i can explain it. just seeing him in his element. and a whole new level of relaxed and at home and domestic. idk. maybe youll get it 🙈 he also asked me how shopping with his sister went. so i told him about that minus her crush i aint a snitch. and i told him about his brothers comment lol. he goes “he’s so ridiculous he literally told his friend there was gonna be a college girl at his house. and he told me that you were too hot for me” that one made me giggle. ty said he smacked his brother for that one lol. i said “well i think you’re too hot for me. i mean look at you” he said “what the fuck are you talking about. i’m the luckiest guy in the world for managing to snag you” which 🥺🥺🥺 he was driving so i leaned over and kissed his cheek. bc it was so cute. and kate🙈🙈🙈 bestie 🙈🙈🙈 im only telling you this (and my other anon friends) bc i trust you guys. i havent told anyone else 🙈 but… i was really close to saying the three words to him 🙈🙈 really really close. but i got scared 🙈 it feels too soon. or that maybe its just in my head bc of what his mom said. idk.

(3) i maybe repeated some of this bc i forgot where i left off. we drove around some more. parked and walked around at a few stops. i maybe asked him about his hs gf 🙈 he said they werent really compatible and she was nice but they were better as friends and dated more bc of the pressure of dating. he was very open and honest about it though and that just made me more 🥺 we went to a park with a really nice overlook. then you have to walk through a forest and theres another more secluded one. we were going to kiss but i said “did you take all the girls here” and he said “no, i actually only ever came here alone. youre the only one” and i gave him a 🥺 look. he was a little pink. and i really really wanted to say it again 🙈 but i just kissed him instead. and then we made out 🙈🙈 for a decent amount of time actually. it felt like we were the ones in hs lol. then we were gonna go back. but our lips were a little swollen and red 🙈 so we went to get ice cream instead. then we went back to ty’s. his brother made a comment about us being gone for a while and was smirking. ty flicked him😭 oh and omg kate this was so cute 🥺 so they have these really cute lights in their backyard. his mom is super trendy lol. and they had music playing the whole time. eventually everyone went inside. they refused to let me help bc i had helped enough. i told ty i wanted to sit outside some more. it was so cute out there. the music was playing softly and i was cuddled up with ty and wearing his sweatshirt. it was a good vibe and i wanted to enjoy it.

(4) so we were sitting there quietly. he was just rubbing my shoulder with his thumb since his arm was around my shoulders. and then omg kate 🙈 this is so cheesy 🙈 thinking out loud by ed sheeran came on. ty got up and held his hand out. and asked “dance with me?” i had the biggest grin on my face and nodded. so we danced in his backyard 🙈 just like swayed back and forth nothing fancy. he was spinning me around and i was laughing. eventually we weren’t even dancing just laughing and swaying and trying to get each other to spin 🙈🙈🙈 until he finally pulled me in and we swayed again. i really almost said it again 🙈 but then he leaned down and kissed me. it was soft and sweet. we didnt stay out too long after that. but then we got ready for bed and stuff and he ran downstairs bc his brother used his phone charger and left it downstairs. and when he came back up he was so red. and i was like “are you good? did you just run a marathon or something?” and he flopped down on the bed next to me and groaned. he goes “my whole family saw that” and i said “saw what” and he goes “us dancing and the kiss. i just got hardcore roasted” and then i was like “oh” and he goes “my mom and sister think were adorable. my dad said i need to learn how to dance” which made me laugh. and then he goes “my brother told me my kissing game was weak and my mom glared at him and said it was respectful, which is how you should treat girls.” i hid my face in his chest and said ty this is so embarrassing. he said “your fault for laughing so hard it got their attention” but he said it jokingly lol. i said “maybe take your dads advice and learn to dance so i dont have to laugh” which made him laugh and squeeze my side. that made me squeal and i go oh no that was so loud. tyler was cracking up. but then he got serious and told me he was glad i was getting along with his family 🥺 he told me i fit with them well and that hes glad i was able to bond with his siblings, especially his sister 🥺🥺🥺

(4? 5? fuck i forgot again) and then today i woke up first before anyone else. so i threw on tyler’s sweatshirt and went and sat outside again. just enjoyed the morning. ty’s mom came out and asked me how i slept and all that. then told me she saw us two dancing last night. and she told me her son was clearly in l-word with me and then she smirked over her coffee mug and said “i think the feelings mutual” and took a sip of her drink. SHES SUCH A SAVAGE 🙈🙈🙈 i took a sip of my coffee just so i didnt have to respond and i could feel my whole face was on fire. but then she goes “you two are really sweet and im glad you make him so happy” and i said “he makes me happy too. you raised a great guy” and she smiled at me. then she told me stories about her and her husband meeting and stuff. and also about raising tyler. then his dad came out and brought breakfast. he also added in some stories. oh and his mom asked for my number and she sent me a few pictures she took of me and ty when we were sitting outside and when we were dancing 🙈🙈 idk how neither of us noticed them watching us through the window. but the pictures were cute. ty and his brother came downstairs and also ate with us. then ty and i went on a walk around their neighborhood which was nice and peaceful. when we got back we chilled with his family some more. his sister was awake too and asked me to help her with makeup. so we went to her room. and she was like “you and my brother are cute” 🥺 and she goes “that kiss was like a movie kiss” and i blushed 🙈 she told me how she hasnt had her first kiss and asked me about mine and stuff. it was kinda cute that she trusted me to like ask questions and be open. she was more open about her crush too and told me how he talked to her yesterday and gushed about how cute he was. i just let her go with it lol. and then she told me it was nice having a girl to talk to like a sister bc she cant talk to her brothers about that stuff 🥺🥺 so i told her if she ever wanted to talk she could reach out to me. so now she follows me on insta and has my number lol. then we sat with the fam again and had lunch and then it was time for ty and i to leave. everyone in his family gave me a hug 🥺 and they told me i should visit again 🥺 so it started off really scary but his family dynamic is so cute and they were all nice.

AHHAAHA ok i also have very mixed feelings abt the robins panel they just released, i think it would be an amazing chance for DC to acknowledge all the shitty things Batman has done in the past (and the good things of course!!) in the way he’s treated the Robins to show even good ppl mess up and also address the whole “wtf why is he letting literal kids go feral like that??” part. And in regards to what Dick said abt discussing whether being Batman’s Robin was a good thing or not: i definitely have my own opinions of “yes, having the robins was good for Bruce and helped him grow to be a better person, but his still treated them like crap way too often. and yeah being Robin helped a lot of them too in a lot of different ways, but they deserved better than what B gave them” at the same time. But the little snips about cereal is cute and i love love love that they actually included Steph AND DICK WITH A MANBUN!! (akdjal im scared this is like the first long ask w an opinion ive ever sent and i hav no idea if it’s even coherent ive been working on mid term stuff😭)

see i agree because the concept is actually kinda cool and is a good opportunity to show how bruce messed up with his kids (i don’t think they’ll go the whole “sidekick bad” route because that’s their entire brand, they’re not gonna do that) but i like the idea of bonding over it. but also i DONT TRUST THIS WRITER TO GO THE GOOD ROUTE FOR THIS HE MESSED UP WITH DICK BEFORE HOW IS HE GONNA WRITE ALL 5 ROBINS WHEN HE COULDNT EVEN WRITE ONE 💀. so ya, the concept is so cool but i’m really scared because of this writer. this sort of storyline(?) always looks so... bad when executed in the wrong way (like that one scene in yj when diana was like “why you bring robin out at 9 😡” and batman is like “because he needed to take man to took his parents’ lives to justice and he won’t turn out like me 😡” because BRO. THAT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW ITS MORALLY WRONG!!! WE ALL KNOW, BUT THATS THE WAY THE UNIVERSE IN CANON WORKS SO NO ONE QUESTIONS IT!!! SO DONT BRING IT UP!!! AND TRY TO JUSTIFY IT OR ITLL LOOK SILLY!!! like if dick tries to say “sidekick bad” in this issue after he literally made damian robin it’s 💀 SORRY I GOT OFF TRACK) ANYWAYS so if they go that route then they should solely focus on the type of mentor bruce was instead of the idea of child heroes as a whole in my opinion. also it has the vibes of fanon characterizations and i hope they don’t completely go that route because fanon 🥶🗿💀 overall i am terrified but kinda hopeful even tho i don’t think i should be💀💀💀
