Something to post for the meantime that I can't draw anything new! This patreon request from 2022! They have a little more anime-ish facial features for some reason. (Must be my inspiration at the time.)
They're dressed up because of some important event. It was Connie's day, (a promotion? Idk what specifically tho.) but she just wanted a simple makeup so Steven toned down his own to hopefully not take the attention away from her.
Page 2 might be confusing. There's a headcanon that Steven can store a couple of things in his gem, and here he positioned their hands over his stomach to place the glow bracelet.

So after noodling around about creating a new Pillars of Eternity character, bugging some friends, trying stuff out, pondering in the bath, I decided to start a run as a Priest of Eothas. On Path of the Damned. I squeaked through the first two combats, exhausting my two spells, and promptly got my teeth kicked in on the third, bwhahahaha.
#pillars of eternity#it actually wasn't quite as bad as I feared#but I think since I'm out of practice at this game it would better serve me to have a more sturdy player character#in order to survive the tutorial#or maybe I should go back to ruvsa's game on hard and make sure I can clear the game on that difficulty at least :P

why does every single guide for anything nowadays have to be a video. i hate learning things with videos man. its literally easier to just write a guide i dont understandddd
#why is EVERY blockbench tutorial a video#im being petty but idk it pisses me off#half the time i just decide not to learn the thing#video guides make me anxious and also theyre just less convenient#you cant ctrl+f a youtube video. the best you can do is search the transcript#which is usually badly auto generated so its just confusing and annoying#i get a lot of people learn better with videos but also its not that hard to make both#or at least make a written guide when theres already clearly enough video guides about the exact same thing but no fucking written ones#sorryyyy. im just being a hater#awoo

I am SO fking scared the 5-star will end up NOT being Exclusive Tutorial, and then I'll watch the pity count start over, immediately regret my entire life, and be forced to change my in-game title to "Zayne's Failure". I will never recover from this.

#rat rambles#stars posting#new game+#we'll see if I do enough with this sub au to give it it's own name#but yeah piéride vc well clearly my loops broke because I had it too easy *throws like two tutorials at loop before fucking off*#it doesn't help that ultimately they just. don't see themself in either siffrin. at least not until getting to know them better#they see themself as being here to make sure loop doesn't make the same mistakes as they did#and since from their perspective loop Wasnt making those mistakes during their endless death march they didn't do shit#they also never directly spoke to loop like loop does to siffrin so loop genuinely didn't know abt piéride during their loops#piéride still continues to be distant and not particularly helpful after loop becomes loop but theyre at least willing to talk to loop now#mostly because they view their role as loops guide as having shifted from helping them not break the loops to helping them guide siffrin#needless to say they aren't fond of loops methods#they won't stop loop tho since they don't want to risk breaking things more#to be clear they didn't explain their perspective basically at all nor supply any of the deeply valuable info they have#at least not until far later#you see they have a pretty crippling fear of finding answers as they'd rather keep bashing their head into a wall and hope it works than#know for sure that theres nothing they can do abt something#the whole reason they made their last wish was because they finally let the others in and let them help them find answers and the#conclusion they came to broke them#so going from that to being a guide left them just wanting to stay as distant from any real problem solving as possible#also because they think it was them wishing for basic qol stuff that broke their loops they think direct intervention is a bad idea#because evidently the universe gave them nice things and died for it so they should learn from that and do jack shit for loop <3#look they were stuck in their loops for at least a decade of course they got some shit stuck in their head
