two very very good days in a row! turns out seeing people you care about is, like, kinda great?

middle/high school me didn't form parasocial relationships with celebrities they formed serial parasocial relationships with random lesbian 20-something bloggers with a penchant for being 24/7 haters on increasingly obscure platforms (often that they had abandoned years ago) and would stay up till like 4am every night reading their posts from like five years back and collecting the Lore

#if you look closely i may still not totally be over that tendency - [gunshots]#and it was hilarious id know ALL these details about their lives ok. from their old abandoned blog on wordpress dot com #and i would stalk them and try to find if they were still active somewhere #oh the stories #so first was the forums on fanfiction dot net. i would stalk them daily #and these people would overshare everything about their lives on the internet and id meticulously collect all the details and fantasize #about joining their group someday #and sometimes i would leave reviews on their stories and mention some detail i picked up and they'd be like wait how'd you know that -#and i would make up some shoddy excuse like i did not know every single detail about all their lives #they used to have so much drama too it was hilarious. like full out brawls and catfights #and then there was goodreads. i would get obsessed with a reviewer and stalk hundreds of their reviews #and slowly put together pieces of their life and personality i would never use #there was this one reviewer in particular called emma and she's probably like 25 now?? anyway she was my IDOL in eighth grade #and her entire brand was she loved leaving long rambly one star reviews #and then my blogging era. there were a few then but the most notable was this girl called elle #i know what university she studies at i know her birthday i know all her family drama her girlfriends which taylor swift songs she thinks #are the gayest and she doesn't even know i exist lol #anyway she was A HUGE ONE. she's still influenced such a huge part of my personality to date #and she recommended me so many of my all time favourite books and she was the reason i got into glee #anywayy i stalked her all the way onto tumblr and even summoned up the courage to send her an ask one time #she was the reason i realised i was sapphic actually. and the person who made me the obsessive sapphic media enthusiast i am today #i remember having the awakening at 4am reading her blog posts from years ago on my kindle and listening to all too well #which btw she considered the gayest song of all time so i naturally did too #and i got reallyyy into sapphic media after that #then there was this blogger who went by may #then of course i came on here 💀 and the rest is history #definitely had a bunch of those here too there was this woman named heather #and i was perennially stalking her blog she randomly left tumblr after falling in love with a guy #and making this dramatic post about how she had a burning red love with lots of women in her time but now her love with this guy was golden #noooooo i ran out of tags compulsory stop to my obsessive rant ig

So it takes Andrés a month before he cracks, all because it becomes tiresome, in the end. To tell Martín a story, and repeat it, and repeat it, and repeat it. To watch their plan turn from a near-complete masterpiece to a work still in progress, to witness their greatest discoveries become undone.

Had a child at work ask me my gender then insist that no, I'm a girl, because (among other things) my shoes are sparkly. Buddy, they're from the kids section too but you don't see folks saying I'm not my actual age because of that

#overall it was like eh she's 8 she doesn't mean it maliciously #at most it was like. at one point she said 'you look like a girl and you sound like a girl so you're a girl' which was #a little bit ouch. but also something i know is subjective and i sit on the borderline for that perception #and often the fact im short and skinny tips how people read me to the fem side of things #but that was more 'ouch this kid is gonna have to unlearn some stuff' than actually upset on my own behalf #i was both entertained and touched by the parent behind her (not hers bc birthday party) doing her best to simultaneously cut her off #and apologise to me and also not draw any attention to the fact she was doing either #shout out to liv my new favourite coworker for jumping in there with 'lukes my main dude hes a guy'#and also the one little boy at the party who agreed i was a guy because of my hair #you sir are also wrong but i appreciate the support especially since i just got a haircut #from this description I've realised it sounds like it went on for a while it absolutely did not #it was like a few minutes tops its just that so much happens in so little time when you're herding a bunch of 8 year olds

17 days until i’m 27

#gonna try to keep my expectations low for this thing too #cause last time during my birthday celebration no one even asked how i am. who cares that its my bday? who cares about the fact that its #my day?? nope. i even got insulted cause i sat on the part of the sofa where my aunt wanted to sit #i just wasnt as obedient as usual and she did NOT like it #so yeah when everyone went home i just had a breakdown cause nobody cared about me #i wish they’d care now but i’ll try to not expect anything #which for me is basically impossible but ill try #its just… i always hope that on my birthday people will finally show me love but i guess thats a pretty fucked up thing #if they dont like me thats fine. one day my people will love me everyday. not just on my bday. and not out of pity #its just that ive been lonely for so long #but its ok #but no celebration this year except we’ll just acknowledge it during easter. cause mine’s on easter second day #by we i mean my family my grandma and cousin families #i do have my delusiona about coach surprising me but ik thats not gonna happen #its just that he’s my favourite person and i’m a maladaptive daydreamer so #just gonna ignore my brain #no one in fencing will probably gonna remember my birthday #except the ones who have me on facebook
