INFODUMP FOR THE MASSES 🫡

i’ll be calling her S for now as I can’t really find a name I resonate with for her!

long before the perception of time or planes existed, a thick darkness shrouded the entire cosmos. then, as if a star was birthed, lady light was formed by known means. light covered the land as vast as the eye can see. dark eternal, the deity associated with the darkness, is warded off by an iridescent prism. dark eternal is sealed within an obsidian locket, deeply hidden within the labyrinths of the temple.

s comes from a hedgehog village many, many years ago - established before the echidna tribe was formed. all inhabitants share a white, iridescent coat and circular and linear markings across the body and head — similar to silver’s gloves.

a priestess is to be the oracle and sole protector of the prism, dedicating humility, literature, and arts to their goddess. their culture is rich and deeply rooted into their ideals, wanting to learn more about the world they live on.

s is around the same age as Tikal, and the two were very close friends and acted as representatives for their respected people. both share ideals of peace, unity, and justice. Tikal often prayed with S at the temple.

yes, S is silver’s mother. the father passed away.

an unknown being grabs ahold of the locket — turning out to be a member of their own village — and donned the locket, releasing dark eternal once more into the world.

s, knowing the prism was to be sought for destruction, shattered it and sent the shards across the zones. one shard, a teal color, she infuses into silver which is why his specific telekinetic powers are stronger than most in his time. S engages in combat and subsequently banishes him to the unknown realm, s herself sealing away into a statue made of her with a few of the shards in hand. silver is young, only about 3-4, before being sent away, thousands of years into the future with no recollection of his origins. shattering the prism is what caused hedgehogs to now have colored coats - blue, pink, etc.

the creation / birth of shadow triggered dark eternal’s release — creating a connection between black doom and dark eternal. s is released from her stasis due to the events of Sonic 06 and timeline anomalies. she does not meet the others until the ending of 06. the sonic franchise crew phases in and out in terms of finding the shards. silver learns his origins during this time as well.

sonic and crew end up aiding S in the final fight against dark etenal, S now having all the prism pieces, ascends to a state similar to super, but with its own set of powers and strengths. s gifts silver the prism, him being the sole survivor and heir, before ascending to eternally serve lady light. silver is able to still communicate via mediation.

Pile 1

cards: the moon (jumper), 4 of cups (jumper); confidence

So, what stood out to me in this one from the get-go is 1. how the tarot cards came out very quickly, 2. the lack of colors in all the cards and 3. the significance of the moon. Of course, we have the Moon card in and of itself but the exact same moon shape and placement in the picture is repeated in the 4 of Cups in this deck; they only differ in color (one is gold, the other black), so that is quite striking. The illustration on the Confidence card also reminds me of darkness or darkened vision with the sunglasses, just like the Moon card can be associated with not seeing things clearly or in low light. Even the 4 of Cups often speaks about literally looking away from what's offered to you; in this depiction, though, we see a rat climbing over the four cups in the protection of night. All in all, this could be seen as a warning to not be too self-reassured and take a closer look or bring light to a situation before taking a metaphorical sip.

cards: daughter of cups; movement

The daughter (or page) of cups can speak about an actual young person or child, or about the traits of an inner child. As such, this card is also associated sensitivity, intuition, maybe soft-spokenness and naivity. Pages can also mean messages coming to you as intuitive insights, or their subject matters/the way they're formulated could have these cups-like, emotion-heavy traits. Interestingly, this card is coupled with the (green) Movement card, the imagery reminding me of the 8 of Wands in tarot. So, this could mean something is moving swiftly - or maybe someone reaching out to you and what they have to say to you is moving you emotionally and strongly.

Pile 3

cards: death (jumper), 6 of wands; rejection

This combination of cards is really interesting, because of the polar opposites in meaning, specifically regarding the 6 of Wands and the Rejection card. The Death card came out first, depicting a decaying bird, followed by the 6 of Wands (victory) which shows a blue butterfly rising from a pile of branches. To me, it looks like a direct follow-up to the Death card, showing the reincarnation into a new being. Now, for the (orange) Rejection card I could see multiple possible options in interpretation. Maybe a recent rejection is prompting you to go through a transformation and reinvent yourself; maybe your new self is someone who can strongly hold their ground and reject what they don't want in their life; something (internal or external) could still be blocking you from this change in yourself, or make you feel rejected once you present this brilliant reincarnation; or all of the above, of coure x) My personal advice is to stick to your guts (a classic wands theme) and keep standing up for yourself either way.

Pile 4

cards: 10 of pentacles; anxiety

This pile also has a seemingly contradictory message, as we have what looks like a lush happy ending with the 10 of Pentacles on one side and the theme of (a sickly yellow) Anxiety on the other. 10s speak of the completion of something - with the Pentacles this often pertains to material/financial matters or projects. And I think, it's not too uncommon that once you finish something, anxiety can creep in about how to proceed from now on, right? Of course, you might also feel anxious about keeping or losing this very success or about not being able to attain it in the near future, which is fair. I think another possible reading, though, is that these cards are here to remind you that even when you fall into a bit of a spiral (I've just been there, too), there is still some sort of valuable support and stability you can fall back on.

(Also, maybe related to some of you, this just makes Doechii's 'Anxiety' get stuck in my head lol)

My Secret Series Headcannons (because I've loved this series since I was a kid)

Cass is demiromantic/sexual. She thought something was wrong with her when she was a kid because everything on the movies and in books were talking about love, and she didn't really understand it. It's partially why she went Survival-Cass (and contributes to her canonical pick-me phase where anything remotely feminine is 'bad'). She eventually falls for Yo-Yoji though, after the two become good friends.

Yo-Yoji is bisexual. His gay awakening was falling for one of his bandmates. He absolutely tells everyone, okay? He's the embodiment of PRIDE. This man used to dye his hair rainbow on pride month before Max-Ernest convinced him to keep it ("Yeah but what about having rainbow all the time? It's not like you're only queer during June. How 'bout that?"). Though Yo-Yoji eventually goes back to dying his hair neon green and black. Yo-Yoji piercings. His parents aren't too happy, but Cass and Max-Ernest think they look great.

Yo-Yoji is absolutely a SoundCloud rapper. Also, his band takes off as a sick punk garage band. They eventually get around to doing tours or Alien's Rock. Yo-Yoji wears Alien's Rock merch in public, and shirts with his face on it, even if it's a little cringe.

Max-Ernst isn't gay, he's Achillean (male version of Sapphic). I absolutely think he'd spend therapy session after therapy session trying to logic down his attraction, but there would be some outliers in past experience that confuses him immensely ("I mean, I thought Ms. Mauvais was pretty, but I can't tell if it's because she's an attractive person or that I find her attractive..."), so to end the debate because his therapist is probably getting tired of him, he settles on Achillean. He's scared to tell Cass and Yo-Yoji, but they accept him with open arms (Yo-Yoji has no idea what it means at first, he just thinks Max-Ernest is part-Greek or something) (Yo-Yoji temporarily wanted to have something greek about him too so he isn't left out).

Owen is fluid in his gender, and sometimes goes by Elowen if he wants. Like, Owen prefers he/him, but other pronouns (even neos!), he's fine with. As long as Owen's being addressed with respect in mind, he's fine. Also, Owen absolutely dresses up for any and every occasion, regardless if it's for the Terces Society or not. Him and Yo-Yoji absolutely bond, and Owen drives Yo-Yoji to pride when Yo-Yoji's parents get too busy also his family isn't the most accepting.

Amber is a lesbian. Her gay awakening? The Skelton Sisters. Change my mind, I dare you (you can't).

Cass and Yo-Yoji are on and off dating. It always feels like the right thing but the wrong time. Maybe there isn't a right time.

The Secret Trio flinch every time they see someone wearing gloves, even if it makes sense with who they are. They always double-check the lunch food to make sure the gloved lunch ladies didn't put something into it. They skirt around construction/manufacturing workers. Max-Ernest can't seem to want to wear the white gloves that are a part of his magician costume.

The Secret Gang have code names for each other! It was groaned upon when max-Ernst brought it up, but Cass and Yo-Yoji eventually start vibing with it, especially Yo-Yoji. Cass is The Orb-acle (reference to the fact that Cassandra could tell the future, much like the Oracle, and the Sound Prism), Max-Ernest is Apollo (bad jokes, spiky hair like the rays of sun, is the god of truth "It's Max-Ernest like Max-Earnest, which basically means truth. How 'bout that?") and Yo-Yoji is Diyonysus (chill dude, chaos maker, is very cool, and has a perfect placement for a pun).

The younger brother of Thon 'Talamee, Reff was considered weaker than most Sangheili males but his brother watched out for him due to believing Reff was special and had potential. When they joined the Covenant, Reff would become Thon's second in command on Clarity of Faith. More fantical than his brother, Reff would insist a transmission picked up by the ship - unlike any the Covenant or humans used - was a message from the gods, but Thon would ignore him. When their attempt to slipspace travel was interrupted and ship crashed as a result, Reff believed the Great Journey was starting, causing Thon to slam, scold, and threaten him. As they scoutted the moon they crashed on, they encountered Spartan Black team and engaged, only for Forerunner Gathers to capture Reff, a Mgalekgolo, an Ungooy, and one of the Spartans, bringing them in captivity to Line Installation 1-4 for the purpose of researching immunity to the Flood. While held captive, Reff offered to teach the Spartan about the Great Journey but was declined. Once the resident Monitor 686 Ebullient Prism began dissections for research, Reff would be spared due to Ebullient finding him fascinating. The Spartan would then trick Ebullient and freed them both, with Reff declaring the Monitor a "false Oracle" in the ensuing combat. When they reached the Installation's central control chamber, Reff would contact Thon and his temporary Spartan allies. Upon their arrival to their location, the truce would end quickly. Thon sought to contact and receive assistance from High Charity, but Reff instead felt it was his destiny to build a new Covenant at this Installation. After more scolding, Thon would ultimately decide to kill Reff, but Reff would instead turn the tables and kill Thon. Ebullient would then arrive and vaporize Reff.

Three of Wands + Space + Black Tea

I’ve been too tired and sick for the past few days, so today I did a quick daily pull to read my overall energy.

It is not surprising that I pulled Three of Wands because I’ll soon be travelling overseas to study abroad! A new journey is about to begin, and since itself going to be a research intensive programme, it will be a challenging and difficult one. I am also turning my back to my past and looking ahead at what’s to come. Time to move!

Deck Review: Black Prism Oracle

This is a 15 card oracle deck, that I think I have used...once. Maybe twice.

The deck is beautiful. Look at that snake. I love that snake. Everything is black and white, but there is so much detail to it that you don’t feel like anything is missing.

Every card has a backdrop with a constellation of some sort. If I knew more about stars, I might be able to tell you more, but as it is I don’t. I know that the Cranium card is Scorpio constellation, and I assume that the Aries and Saggita cards have their respective constellations, so they could all be the zodiac. This did start out as a 13 card deck, but then 2 more cards were added as bonus for the kickstarter so, I don’t know. I should, but I don’t.  

There are little symbols everywhere, and I love them, and it’s another one of those things that I feel like I should know, but I don’t. I clearly know nothing about this deck. 

This deck comes with a little book, if you can call it that, and it have the names of the cards with a couple keywords for each, and one word for it’s reversal. The names on the cards and the names in the book aren’t the same, however. The cards are, well, whatever they are, and the book is the English equivalent. Cranium is Skull, Cordis is Heart, so on and so forth. Each card has a number though, so it’s not hard to figure out. The book is helpful because otherwise I would have to idea how to read with the deck.

The cards are normal tarot sized, and they are linen texture on good cardstock. They feel very nice. Since there is only 15 cards though, it kind of makes it hard to read with. Even if you just pull one card a day, you’ll be getting repeats quite often. So I haven’t read with this deck, since I don’t really know how to read with this deck.

With a moral compass that was very broken she had not problem killing and often took too much joy from fighting. So much so she made a living of it gaining the moniker The Laughing Hound.

Even though she was evil she did do more good for the world than evil. She gave it her all to protect those she cared and loved about. Even if it meant doing evil.

The cards aren't even TRYING to be subtle anymore...

So my brand new Black Prism Oracle deck arrived today, fresh from Kickstarter, and I thought I'd do a one card draw to get a feel for the new deck and its energy. Shuffled it for a while and drew the Serpent. Representing cunning and rebirth. This was after drawing the Tower in a single card tarot reading and The Queen of Fae from @hyacinth-halcyon's one card divination reading. OKAY OKAY I GET IT! PAINFUL CHANGE FOR THE BETTER!!!!
