Scrapped Town character designs - 1 - Saint Sylvia

Saint Sylvia heads the church at the center of the second half of town, her and her community locked behind a gate and forever lost from the show.

Intended: Sylvia is a very important member of the community, helping those with questions and queries that could perhaps not be answered in simply scientific manner. She doesn’t speak, and rather uses subtitles to talk. She heads many of the more religiously themed episodes, helping teach lessons.

(I am not religious and this is a religious inspired character rather than an ideals supporting character ; This character is not all my own and was made together with a close friend.)

more thoughts from yesterday's discussion. what a waste of moth flight for the trial, she's a perfect antagonist for leafpool. they're both daughters of a clan leader, they both have a higher connection to starclan, they both discovered an important spiritual place, and they both, in some regard, had to give up their children.

however unlike moth flight, leafpool knew when to ask for help and she wasn't afraid to lean on her family, her children rejected her but she ultimately gave them a better life compared to moth flight, and while moth flight has defined her existence to protecting a cruel law, leafpool could've (and quite frankly should've) been the one to defy and ultimately destroy it.

Imagine fucking with Haitham by every day, going to his immaculately kept bookshelf and just...removing the dust jacket off one book and hiding it

every day, a new dust jacket goes missing, exposing his beautiful hardcovers to the open air.

even worse for him if it takes him a few days to notice hehehe

I'd be so down to do that and then watch him go insane and turn his office upside down until he comes to you (almost pleadingly) asking if you know where his dust jackets went.

Or just randomly bring some books he neatly placed next to each other in disarray and watch him fix them every day anew while growing increasingly more frustrated.

You just play coy and say you have no clue where they could've gone.

Fast forward to him putting the blame on Kaveh and starting a fight with him. Because surely he could be the only one who is behind this, right? It would never be you!

You watch it unfold while secretly sneaking into his room to return the dust covers while they're bickering. Only to then watch him storm into his office with Kaveh in tow to find all dust covers in their respective place (which starts the bickering anew. Grab some popcorn and watch it unfold 🍿).

After finishing book 4, going back to the scene where Hua Cheng knocks “Ming Yi” a meter into the ground is even more hilarious after understanding their dynamic.

Because, yes, out of the two present, Hua Cheng would never hit Xie Lian (or his body in this case).

But now knowing who Earth Master is, of course Hua Cheng would hit his ally, Ship-Sinking Black Water, out of frustration for allowing the situation to involve Xie Lian so much. Especially since this was when the Reverend of Empty Words, who is in control by Ship-sinking Black Water (or technically a clone), was fighting Xie Lian and terrorizing him.

And it’s also funny how “Ming Yi” just accepted that attack as he crawled out of the body-shaped hole because he knew he totally deserved that after breaking the “Xie Lian is off limits” agreement.
