Jumbo plushie of BleydhDu’s character Asher!

Around 30” long, and quite heavy, this chonker was made with soft minky fabrics with embroidered and some hand sewn details! I referenced Teacup Lion’s Umbreon pattern as well as my floppy animal beanie pattern when doing the body, and sort of combined the two with quite edited front and back paws. The head and tail were fully patterned by me!

I am open for commissions if anyone wants to get their character made!

Just adding my own experiences to this, but from a Twitter perspective. I run my art twitter (BleydhDu) for freelancing work and a lot of my content is drawing beefy furries. I am completely aware people follow my art based on their types of attraction and that's totally fine! What isn't fine is the amount of dms and comments I get that immediately get sexual or overly familiar when I've never spoken to a person before. I've been very clear in posts that I'm demisexual and asked people to not leave graphic comments on posts of my fursona. Don't get me wrong-- I have an awesome following overall. But, I deal with a lot of people who will get very "bold" in my comments and dms and have been lashed out at for pointing out language I'm not comfortable with. People have been so reactive to me telling them I'm not comfortable with people sexualizing a character meant to portray myself.

I've posted cute art of my sona Ash and my partner's sona Ren doing couple stuff-- Not even suggestive art. I will see an influx of people commenting on how they want Ash to hook up with them or how he has "two hands", even when I've told them I'm uncomfortable. I'll get dms calling me daddy from strangers I've never spoken to, people telling me they would be breedable for me, and plenty of other interactions of this caliber.

I'm far from a celebrity. I'm just an artist in the furry community. But, people have gotten this mentality that a friendly persona publicly means they can behave anyway they like with a creator. I get called angry and sensitive by people who try to push their advances on me when I call them out. People with this mentality are so unfamiliar with open communication and boundaries that they will freak out at any resistance.

It's uncomfortable, exhausting, and it has to change. Your favorite creator is not your friend, unless they've told you otherwise. Friendship takes real time and effort and it's very obvious when it comes from ulterior motives.

Hell, I've loved being welcomed into the Narilamb community recently, but I don't even consider myself friends with these other artists because we've never spoken privately. I adore the art of these other artists in the community, but to automatically assume that makes everyone besties is unhealthy. And NO it should not be seen as an offense. Just because someone doesn't immediately consider you a friend never means you as a person are bad. However, the second you begin acting parasocially, you are kinda being weird. And, if you lash out when someone tells you to stop doing certain behaviors, you are being a dick.

there are no hard rules for human interaction but honestly i think everyone online would benefit hugely from operating under the assumption that, unless you have been given a specific reason to think otherwise in discrete instances, internet strangers do not want to be approached with:

your trauma, illnesses, or deep-rooted self worth issues

any come-ons or sexual content

over-familiar playful rudeness

information about your dnd characters/ocs

disagreements with their harmless subjective opinions

if it is your first time speaking with someone i can not highly enough recommend that these do not be your opening topics

Absolutely wonderful commission of Taric made by @wolfsteax (or @Bleydhdu on Twitter) !! He streamed it this time and it was amazingg. I dropped a lotta lore in the chat there, so Ill copy it down here for posterity:

The basic gist of his story is that he grew up in an orphanage in the big Piltover esque city of Sho'tera. The orphanage was in the poor side of town and only staffed by one old human lady. He and his friends wanted to grow up and be famous adventurers, to bring back money and renown to their home. However, after a traumatic event where they tried to fight this crazy abomination monster in the woods when they were tweens which ended in the death of one of their friends, the dream was shattered and the party grew apart. When the old lady died and the orphanage ran out of money he and the remaining orphans turned to crime, creating one of the most infamous gangs in all of the city, with Taric as their boss at the young age of 16.  After years of villainy and evil he was hired by a shady group trying to tear apart the city to assassinate the prince of a noble family. He ended up drinking himself near to death before he could though, and wound up being nursed to health by that very prince! Taken entirely aback, he held off on killing him that day.. and held off again when they next met.. and over and over again. They fell in love, and after a year of dating, they wanted to make it official, but of course the father didnt approve! Tarics a terrible criminal and a brute! Taric had been turning towards good from his new relationship, but at that point he officially ran away from his crimelord position and set out to become a true hero like his childhood dream, to prove himself worthy to marry his love!  The tattoo in this arts is of course that boyfriend, Ollivander Moonbrook! Elvish cinnamon roll with a little bit of spunk to him, a little moxie!
