"There!" Emira shouted. The twins ran as quickly as they could. The surrounding blizzard continued to storm around them. Magic could only do so much against such a force of nature. Luckily, the twins were able to find the Blight Family Cabin. A simple wag of the finger and the door was unlocked. The two hurried inside, fighting to close the door. It shut with a loud clank before the two cast their own spells to lock and fortify it. With that, Edric and Emira breathed a sigh of relief.

"Oh my titan," Edric let out. "That storm came out of nowhere. Good thing we were so close to the cabin already."

"Yeah," Emira said. She examined the interior of the cabin. It had been a while since the family had visited the cabin in the knee, and it showed. Most of the furniture started collecting dust. The small kitchen empty with the exception of a few canned foods.

"Gross," she commented. Emira looked over her shoulder to see what Ed was doing. Which was nothing. She caught him just staring at her with a sad, little smile.

"What?" she asked.

"Nothing," he said, looking away. Even inside the cabin, the air was bitterly cold. Emira shivered in place.

"I'll start a fire. You know, to warm up," he said.

"No duh. I'll get rid of the dust," she replied. Simple tasks for two witches such as themselves. A few wags of the fingers and a couple of well placed spells later, and the cabin was actually quite comfortable. The fire burned brightly and hot enough to warm the entire cabin, and the bed was nice and clean enough to actually sit on.

The twins sat on the bed, removing their excess clothing. Hats, scarves, coats and (yes) mittens tossed onto the floor. All of it in pile beside the foot of the bed away from the fire. Emira went a step further, kicking off her boots and letting her hair down. She shook her head, whipping her hair out further over her shoulder. Emira turned to catch Edric staring at her again.

"What?" she asked.

"What what?" Ed replied.

"You just keep staring at me. It's weird," she said. "Take another picture. I know you have some."

"I like looking at you," he said. "Sue me."

"Oh whatever," she hissed. "At least we got away for a bit."

"Yeah, who knew fixing up the Isles after Belos wrecked it would take so much work?" said Edric. "At least the cabin was okay. You want something to eat?"

"No," answered Emira, dropping back on the bed. "I just want to relax for a bit."

Emira laid on the bed watching Edric play with Batric for a bit.

"I'm glad it's just you and me," he said. "Seems like we've been so busy we've never had time for us."

"Yeah, well, things happen," Emira said.

"I missed you," he said. Emira smiled and gave Edric a look with an arched brow.

"You missed me? Like I was gone or something?" she teased.

"No, I mean, what I meant was...I'll check on the fire. So we can warm up."

Emira grabbed Edric by the collar and pulled him in for a kiss. It caught him for surprise for a second, but Edric reciprocated. The twins embraced. Tongues circling and playing with each other. Each moaning with every kiss until they pulled apart for air.

Edric was actually the first to develop romantic feelings for Amity, although he was very ashamed and kept them a secret. Amity would start to feel the same way as they entered their teen years.

Edric still teases Amity, but much more playfully and less intrusively or maliciously. He definitely still calls her 'Mittens'.

Edric is the only man Amity has ever found handsome or attractive, much less having fallen in love with.

Amity and Luz eventually drifted apart post-canon, and the reunion between her and the other Blights allowed her and Ed to explore their feelings for each other.

Edric starts calling her 'Little Lady' and treats her as a Gentleman(tm) should. It flusters Amity to no end.

Amity convinces Edric to start keeping his illusion necklace off because he 'looks beautiful as is'. This flusters Edric himself to no end.

Luz was Amity's first, but Edric was her second time. It was weird and awkward at first with neither of them knowing what they were doing, but they eventually got into a neat little pattern/dynamic. Edric was a virgin up until his first time with Amity.
