Setting Up Floodlight Camera
Before you embark on setting up your Floodlight Camera, here's a list of what you'll need:
Floodlight Camera: Ensure you have the floodlight camera unit ready for installation.
Mounting Hardware: Most floodlight cameras come with the required mounting hardware. Double-check to ensure all components are included.
Phillips Screwdriver: You'll need a Phillips screwdriver to secure the camera in place.
Ladder: Depending on the camera's installation height, you may require a ladder to reach the installation spot.
Power Source: The floodlight camera needs to be hardwired to an existing junction box that provides 110 to 120V of power and has proper grounding. If you are replacing an existing light, ensure the junction box is suitable. If not, consult a licensed electrician to install the appropriate box, following local building codes.
Wi-Fi Network: The floodlight camera requires a 2.4GHz wireless network connection with WPA/WPA2 security standard.
Smartphone or Tablet: You'll need a smartphone or tablet to download and install the camera's companion app for setup and control.
Installation your floodlight camera
Selecting the right installation location is crucial. Here are some tips:
Install the camera in a grounded junction box approximately 10 feet above the ground, with a motion detection range of up to 30 feet.
Common uses include home security and capturing wildlife activity.
Ensure an unobstructed 130° field of view for your camera, with a motion detection area spanning 270°.
Avoid installing in direct sunlight, near high-traffic areas, or amid dense brush.
If you choose a ceiling location, you can easily flip the camera image after setup is complete.

That moment when you realize the cat everyone is putting reward signs up for is just a total bad ass that doesn't want to be stuck inside. I mean they've been searching for this cat 🐈 for several weeks and the little guy has been setting off my cameras 📷 several times a day which is right next door to their door. I let them know and this cat is not about to give up his freedom which I totally understand. This cat is very sweet but spoiled as he snubbed my nursing staff when they tried giving it a slim jim. Then again it may be a sign that when cats refuse to eat #slimjims humans should think twice about it as well lol even if they're tasty. #opetationcatfreedom #cat #catsofinstagram #catlife #cats #catlovers #catsagram #outdoorcat #kittensofinstagram #kittens #coolcat #amazon #blinkcamera #blink #amazoncamera #neighborhoodcat #neighborhood (at London, Ohio) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGl5xvzl1nz/?igshid=8a6od6infjmd

I wanted the latest adition to my security system installed but the push-fit mounting wasn't secure enough. I managed to make straps and pinned them with the mounting screws. Hopefully the howling wind won't take it away now! It was fairly blowing when I installed it!

High Tech Safety for Your Home
Tumblr media
There are so many options now for home security. In order to stand out in this market, features are where it's at. So what does the Angee system have that others don't? Plenty. The makers of Angee understand that part of safety is privacy, knowing who's coming and going, and making sure your house isn't streaming online. The first step in covering those ideas is privacy protection. You can add users, arm and disarm from your phone, check on any room and be sure that your space is protected from anywhere. When you walk in the door, Angee sees you and changes settings on it's own. From the maker, How does Angee know you’re at home? Angee checks several parameters every minute in order to detect your presence at home. We are using a combination of the Bluetooth, WiFi and Geofence in order to have precise and reliable information regarding your presence and to keep your privacy intact at the same time. What is Privacy Mode? Privacy mode is the default setting for when you’re at home – Angee will face the wall and she will not record events. Where is recorded video stored? All video is encrypted and stored in the cloud, accessible only to you. We are using Amazon Web Services for secure cloud storage. The ease of use alone puts this security system at the top of our list. What do you think? Want to learn more? Find it here.
