hm ny thoughts arent as complete as with the separated links because we only get a couple pages of Link on his own, but i do have thoughts and i think understanding the separated guys does equal understanding link in a good couple ways. first of all. huge heart on this guy. did u see him n zelda he was so sweet hello. flower..

i was originally gonna talk abt this at length in here but i moved it to the link+zelda ask smile. but ill mention again that him n zelda are best friends it goes way back. i think theyre moving past carefree typa childhood right now because of the world they live in. both because of zeldas responsibilities + links hjinks (both equally a need to express their love and pride for the kingdom they live in (the people in it.)). and that fuckign purple Thing (vaati).. they. are gonna need to deal with a lot more than just Those feelings after the manga ends. laughter .

actually, the more I think about the amorphous blobs of just "disciples" of whatever sect in MDZS/CQL the more I'm just ????? about the sect organization and setup.

"jiang cheng's first disciple" okay yes this makes sense, I assume that's the first disciple he grabbed while he was dealing with shit at the sunshot campaign

There do not actually appear to be established shifu-disciple lineages in the world of mdzs, like I do not get the vibe that JGS himself had disciples he was personally teaching shit so what does it even MEAN to be attached to a sect??? a disciple of a sect???? who is teaching the juniors????

Like, most large sects have multiple master disciple lineages yknow. like. having a shifu as part of a sect is not just an extra happy bonus perk it's essential to being in a sect and this ???? blobular sect structure in MDZS is driving me insane the longer I think about it.

ELEMENTAL REALM / ECLECTIC CHAMBER OCS!

Hiiiiiii first art post I'm sharing publicly! This has been a month in the making but it's so worth it. These are a handful of characters in my OC universe, the Elemental Realm! AKA the Eclectic Chamber, I'm currently going through a name change from elemental realm to eclectic chamber. Don't worry about that.

Italicized names mean those are placeholders while I still try to come up with a better name. For some, those placeholders have been there for years :P whoops

These comprise pretty much all the significant characters I have (with a guideline of appearing in at least 2 stories although there's some exceptions). There are roughly another 100 or so characters that I opted not to include because they're either not as significant, I don't have an interesting design for them, or I just didn't feel like it. Full namedrop behind the read more in case you're interested! Maybe I'll do a part 2 of this in a year or so, who knows.

If there's any characters here that tickle your fancy, shoot an ask or a comment for me to infodump about them! Quality of infodumping may vary, especially considering I still have to step around spoilers and whatnot, but I'm very interested to show you how these characters have been sculpted in my head over these past several years. (Also, I will be revealing some info about the story ideas I already have in mind for the Elemental Realm soon, so stay tuned for that!)

Uhhhhhh yeah. Hopefully I'm not forgetting to say anything important. I really love what I made lol I hope I can finally start moving this universe outside of my head and into the world ^_^

I go by they/them. Those are my pronouns those are the accurate and correct ones but I also don't care that much if other pronouns get thrown my way. Like if someone she/he's me I'm not gonna waste my time worrying about it. I do not care enough. My gender is too blobular.

But I have had the same conversation multiple times with a coworker in which she says my pronouns are she/they/he and like no bitch they are they/them. Like typically if someone mispronouns me I'm assuming it's just a they didn't consider otherwise type situation and like 97% of the time I will not even notice. Won't even register in my brain.

But this conversation specifically drives me nuts. This bitch made this big performative deal about how sorry she was that she'd been using the wrong pronouns and she should've thought to ask. And yet because I do not care that much about pronouns as to correct people all the time, she's just out there saying shit like "well you're more of a she/he/they anyways." Ma'am that is incorrect.

If someone just continuously calls me by gendered pronouns or neos or whatever I can deal with that and be honestly ambivalent to the whole thing. But this bitch willfully refusing to understand the concept is driving me up the fucking wall. It can not possibly be this difficult to understand.

I have pronouns that are the accurate ones to use, but I also don't experience dysphoria when you use the wrong ones and am not gonna have a convo about it every time. I do not care enough. Whatever the fuck this is though pisses me off. Feel like I'm losing a battle of wits with a door.

the small scale of detail is amazing. like for real i have so much respect for craftspeople who make things with their hands.

ok yeah the egg candy is pretty easy because it's blobular and shape isn't that important

after like 8+ years of having my blobular sona I have only come up with a very minimal amount of ""lore"" cuz I don't feel like I even need ""lore"" it's 99.99% of the time literally just a representation of myself and makes it more fun and enjoyable and even entertaining to just draw and doodle myself like that.

but, what lore I have for my sona is literally just:

Is some kind of living ghost thing. has abilities similar to a ghost, but can't possess anything, can't even phase through living beings, only inanimate stuff & plants.

The tiny black floating crown was a gift from the little "spooks" (small ghost-like spirits that follow me around and do stuff for me and keep me company). The crown is actually very heavy despite it floating in place above my head at all times :>

Lives alone in an old abandoned and overgrown house in the woods. electricity and plumbing and even gas still works tho. just has a lot of vines and overgrowth creeping around inside and out. it's very cute and cozy <3

I smell like baked bread and my head is squishy, squashy, and can be stretched like bread dough. cuz it's funny lol

and that's pretty much it tbh

the tail, wings, and horns occasionally? just aesthetic things I give my sona for fun cuz I think they look cool

The myth began with a treasure hunter discovering a lost and destroyed ancient temple, inside he finds jewls and gold among the rubble. But as he's leaving with the riches, shadows in the corner of his eye begin to startle him. But nothing's there. He's about to exit the temple when he feels a presence behind him, he turns, but his vision begins to warp.

Looming above him is a dark shape that twists and sways in his vision, the entire temple bulging and shrinking, the explorer becomes increasingly dizzy.

The beast is a dragon, it's shape inconsistent and constantly twisting. Limbs and eyes appear and dissappear, it can double and even triple itself in an instant. But among the swimming sight is a static figure.

Described and drawn as a large bodied reptile with huge looming wings with shapes like moons line the inside. Spread open they look infinite like space. Blobular fins line the long, thin tail.

The explorer in the myth began to fall into hysteria looking at the dragon, an impossible quantity of fear striken into his heart. He tried to scramble away, only to pass out at the door.

He was discovered in the middle of the forest deep in a coma and taken back to safety, where he drew this beast in the hospital. The doctors say he went insane, but the tale of the Hunter's Hallucination spread like wildfire none the less.
