Part 1 Blue Scale  Alejandro Vargas x Mermaid! Reader (AU Fantasy)

Part 2

Your mother always describe good things about humans, her stories about human and their life, and when you were still a guppy curious about humans that you saw.

And now this is the consequence of your curiosity stranded in a seashore fortunately there is no single human around ,trapped on a broken trawl that some fisher throw out from their boat.

When your mother always speaks good things about human, your father always speak bad things about them and to be cautious of them he doesn't like human very much as your mother, so he teaches you how to run from them and defend yourself and your kind do have a poisonous bite but at your age now you only can run.

You tried hard to free yourself from the trawl, but as you pulled the string became tighter and your tails began to hurt because of it.

Tears  began to drip from your eyes as you thought of your parents, wondering if you can see them again and now you sobbed

“Wow...” startled when a voice came from behind when you turn around there you saw

A boy by the looks of it he’s around your age, a brown eyes, thick eyebrows, a wide forehead, and black hair there’s a big backpack behind him

“u-um..hi..” he waved at you in greeting as he walks approaching you, your bluefin turn down defensive when he came too close and hissed at him

“Its o-okay...its okay Im not going....” when he walked around he saw the trawl trapping your glittery blue tails, kneel to you sling out his backpack

“you trapped...” as he touched the tails, your hiss became more aggressive but it come out like a whimper

“how could anyone, hang on I think theres scissor...Ah!” rummaging inside the backpack he found black scissors that he used for making paper art at school

Gently he caressing your tails and snip each string that binding your blue tail

“There!” flopping it up and down the boy throw remains trawl away from you

“you can go now..carefull out there..” you look at him, you could understand human words but cannot speak human language

To speak gratitude you pull out the dead scale of your tail it is paler than the healthy one but the glittery making it like a diamond not big but not too small either and you gave it to him

“f-for me?” you nodded, and the boy hesitantly take it from you while he was busy staring at your scale you peck his cheek then you slither to the sea and swam away leaving the boy embarrassed

 Several years later

A storm always makes a good sport and training for a fighter mermaid as your father teach you at a very young age, you always remember when your mother knows that your father sneaks out to teach you training in a storm whacking his head and pinching his arm not to mention her murderous aura coming from her.

Of course, you got to scold too but is a little bit more advice than a scold she said you can do training in a storm until you are old enough.

And now you an adult old enough to engage the mighty storm, blue tail swam against the surface and you jumped feeling the storm rain, storm air, and your glimmering skin starting to heat up causing the adrenaline gills moved rapidly to absorb air from the water.

Feeling tired already you swam deeper, as you looked at the surface of the sea you keep thinking about the human world that mother always told you about, then you remember the boy you meet at the seashore wondering how is he right now.

Feeling much better you decide to go home not wanting your mother worried knowing your father is on patrol, then you saw it....up to the surface it is shaped like an oval there are three of them or more and it moved fast.

  “Good job there hermano!” Alejandro patting Soap shoulder

“Aye you too Alejandro”

“Still didnt know why those ship blow up by itself” Ghost looked behind as Alejandro chuckle

“the sea folks done it...heh men inside those ship always make a way too angered them “

“Sea folks?”Soap raising his eyebrow  as he look at Alejandro confused

“you can call it mermaid Hermano” explain Rudy while he riding the boat

“you believe myths Alejandro?” ask Soap

“He always read a book about them  ” add Rudy teasingly

“Aye! In fact I see one, a beautiful one I can still remember it until now” placing a hand on his pocket pants smiling at the memory of his childhood meeting the sea folk

BANG!

“Argh!” a bullet hit Alejandro right into his vest

“Alejandro!”

"Im fine!” curses in spanish Alejandro looked ahead ,four boat and an angry men with gun

Never a good news

The sea wave making mishit their shooting

“merchenaries..?”

“No that flag...I knew it.. Rudy!”

“Aye Colonel!”

“All of you prepared!”

“Bloody hell going on?!” Ghost pointing his gun at the enemy boat

“I told about sea folks dont I?” Alejandro look at Ghost while he reloading

“That flag they hunter..they hunted them not to mention they work together with cartel” he gritted his teeth

“lets put them down now shall we?” Soap grunt

“Aye..”

   You flinched when a bang was heard from the surface, a yellow sparks coming from an object that once your father warn about guns a deadly weapon that can kill you even from afar.

And then a black skull flag from across the boat, the Patrol and fighter mermaid always warn to run, hide, and not to engage them alone they were the nemesis for the sea folks.

You choose to obey the word and not to interfere with those human battle

SPLASH!

“Alejandro!!” a shouted human word coming muffled from inside the sea, you saw two humans wrestle one with black sweat and tactical gear, and one with a jacket with black skull behind it.

Bluefin flared when the with black skull jacket stabbed his opponent in the stomach, bubble, and blood mixing  from him and slowly he weakens

Before the hunter make any further move you swam swiftly and grab the hunter from beside you and bite him with poison in one second, sharp claw pierced his wrist, and he wriggled trying to free himself but the venom works faster and he went limp.

Letting the now corpse go you turn to see the other human who was floating in the water swimming approaching him, tilt head you observe him a familiar face from distant memories.

You gently caressed his stubble cheeks and gave him an air mouth to mouth your gills moved rapidly transferring water from him to you his eyes slowly opened feeling soft plump lips on his but slowly he blackout, then you took him to your hiding spot.

I have seen exactly 1 episode of Blue Eye Samurai and I am gobsmacked by how amazing it is. Mizu is already my everything. I am almost never so deeply invested so quickly in any media. I am obsessed. If the rest of the show is consistent in quality with the first episode then this show is Arcane level incredible, and I do not say that lightly.

Speaking of how boss music with lyrics is a great way to add characterization, I'm reminded of my personal headcanon regarding Dragonsong's singer. Officially it's supposed to be Hydaelyn, but tbh it would make more sense (to me at least) for it to be Ratatoskr singing it, especially after going through Endwalker

Firstly, Ratatoskr was noted for being a singer. Several of her descendants are mentioned as succeeding her legacy in the same way (that one PvP mount). Secondly, the word choice within the song doesn't match up with another one that's sung from Hydaelyn's PoV: Answers. Where Answers has "my children," Dragonsong has "children of the land." It doesn't make as much sense for Hydaelyn to say something like that, but if we consider that the people who once dwelled in the Churning Mists were known as landlords, in comparison to the dragons being called skylords, it would make far more sense for it to be said by a dragon

Thirdly, it would have greater emotional impact for Dragonsong to be Ratatoskr's spirit lamenting this thousand-year war and wondering why mortals would do such a thing, why they would betray her so, than for it to be Hydaelyn doing so when she has a far greater understanding of mortals (compared to something as alien as a dragon). Especially given that Dragonsong is a track more closely associated with Nidhogg and Hraesvelgr, Ratatoskr's two closest siblings, than with Hydaelyn or even Midgardsormr. You hear a vocal-less version at Zenith, where Hraesvelgr lives, and the full version during the Final Steps of Faith, the culmination of the Dragonsong War and the final confrontation with Nidhogg. Midgardsormr, meanwhile, has his own personal theme (Primogenitor) and Hydaelyn is notably absent from most of HW's story

Danny squawked in utter betrayal as his sister picked him up by the scruff, running before he could attack the ghost hunter. Though it changed to a yelp when a blast nearly hit him, which wouldn’t be an issue if it didn’t almost hit Jazz as well. 

He hiked his legs up, tail curling up as Jazz ran, not exactly able to fly. Her own wings were more designed for gliding through water, and his own were way too small, which wasn’t usually a problem, but using ecto at the moment wasn’t an option. 

They were stuck fleeing like animals, his sister doing the best she could with how their bag of supplies had gotten left behind three states ago. But he was hungry and tired, and honestly wanted to bite the next person to attack them, ghost hunter or no. He bet it would make him feel better.

Blue Scale (Part 2 Last part) Alejandro x mermaid!reader

just pure fluff

Part 1

A smell of wet rocks and rock ceiling is the first thing he saw and smell, when he tried to sit he expected a sting of pain on his side but he feel none of it

Furrowed his eyebrow in confusion he took off his tactical vest and lift his black sweat finding it had not any wound nor scar

‘Weird...I swear he stabbed me....wait..where? 'looking around he was stranded in a cave big enough to put one small boat in, then he remember...

“the..mermaid..she...”the feeling of someone lips linger on him

“she saved me” as he mentioned it a head lift from the water, slowly from behind it crawl to him and reach its hand to him, sensed someone behind him Alejandro swiftly catch the hand making it startled and he slam it to the hard ground

“¡¿Quién eres?! Oh...you..” a woman beneath him ,widens her eyes in shock as the same Alejandro who widens his eyes

“you the one who saved me...dont you..” he remember your blue tails swinging and your pale eyes not too mention your soft hands and lips

A whimper came from your lips making Alejandro snap from his mind.

“Oh! What am I doing..! forgive me señora..I didnt meant to..” he pull away his grip from your wrist ,as he let go you swiftly crawl away from him rubbing your wrist

Although it did not hurt you just shocked by his startled, After a moment of silence he observe you once more

A blue shimmering tail, bluefin that attaches to your arms, three stripes of gills on your neck, your hair...it is still wet from the ocean, and ears like fin

He noticed there was some scale attached to your shimmering body and it was covering your average breast.

A sound of whimper coming from you

“Ah sorry!..I staring at you...how innapproate ..fuck.. “his eyes shuttered tightly gloved hand pinch his nose bridge, he getting a headache while you slowly crawl close to him

Alejandro shook his head and open his eyes finding you right on his face, he tried not to jump but his eyes wide open as you caressed his stubble cheek, he noticed now that between your finger there was a webbed thing like a frog

You've never seen a mermaid have this kind of stubble cheek, they have a clean shave and some of them have mustaches just like your father, but a stubble you wonder if other humans that have stubble are handsome just like him...while you caress his cheek Alejandro taking a look of your face.

Beautiful is just one word needed

He felt his cheek being pulled and rubbed it rough

“sop iht” but you ignore it, then you look at his leg and reach for it

You observe his leg like a discovering new animal, lifted his leg gently rubbing your hand on his trouser

He can only be silent and let you do your things

Then you reveal his hairy leg, surprised that human has hair on their leg to

‘do humans have hair elsewhere too?’

‘Heh hairy human..’ you touched his shoes, confused why there's no thumb or other finger, or is it this thing that covers it?

You tried to untie the tie but it only make tighter

“here let me..” your fin vibrate in amazement when he removes his shoes

Rubbing your palm against his leg you pinched his toes one by one, Alejandro sighed and look up

‘Im supposed the one who observes her right now....she’s a curious thing in—?!‘ he felt something tickling his foot, finding you tracing your finger on his foot

“c-can you—pft!” he jolted shutting his mouth tightly try not to laugh, you raise your eyebrow then scratch his foot again

Again he jolts and this time his palm closing his mouth

Then you tickle the foot, this time he cannot contain his laughter

“S-Stop! Ahahaha please!” an awe plastered on your face his laughter although his voice is deep you still love the way it is

His hand tried to pulling you away from his foot and you stopped tickling him

‘Haa..ha... I’ve never laugh so hard like this before...’

Head lifted to see your reaction, a pure innocent smile on your face making him swallow his anger aside

Pleased to him smiled

‘How can I be mad at the face like that...damn’  putting his hand against forehead as he rub his face  

“I..take it that... you’re the one who saved me?”

Your ears perk and nodded

“.....Are...you the one who I saved years ago?” he remember the mermaid he saved clearly and it look just like you

You tilted your head confused, then he took a dead scale from his pocket

“I saved one child mermaid when Im still young...she trap on a trawl and when I save her...in return...she gives me this...” Alejandro showing your baby dead scales

And then you remember... you saw the boy in him, your eyes widen in realization

“I always hoped to find her in the same pla—OOFFF” you tackle him wrapping your arm around his neck your tails waging like a dog found its owner as you rub your face against his stubble cheek

You could still remember too that you waited at the seashore wondering if you could meet your saver again.

“I...eheh..” he wrap his arm around you hugging you

 “Are you sure leaving him just like that Rudy?!” ask Soap in bewilderment, not believing that Rudy could just leave him own Commander just like that

“positive Soap, Im sure he’ll be alright...” Rudy answered calmly

“you seem to be calm about it... know something that we don't?” Ghost getting suspicious about how calm Rudy is

“...You can say that..he’s been saved..”

“by whom? Dont tell me, is that myth shite again..”

“Indeed”

When Alejandro fall into the sea, Rudy saw something under the water attacking the Hunter and taking Alejandro with it... to be honest he still did not believe what he saw, but wish it to be true....he wish that Alejandro is saved

“I'm sorry for doubting you Hermano..” he mutters, could still remember clearly  Alejandro always talking about the mermaid of his.

 .

 Alejandro lift up his sweat

‘how did it not there...the wound..’ not even a trace of scar..nada he then look at you...clinging on his arm tracing his webless hand

‘is she the one who healed it?’ cocking your head innocently as you stare at him

“A...are you the one who healed me?” you beamed and nodded your head making you hair bounced

“uhh...how did you healed me..if Im remember correctly its quite deep “ placing a finger on your lips you thinking how to explain to him knowing you cant speak on the land

Showing him would be easier, releasing his (juicy muscle) arm you placing your sharp nail into your plam and slice it, showing him your scratched hand

“yes..you cut your hand but—“ then lick it,you showed him your hand

It healed slowly and it doesnt trace any scar on it

“so..your saliva? Healed me?”

You nod smiled proudly

“you...lick it?”

Again you nod and doing a blep thing

He doesnt know how too feel, disgust or gratefull....

‘but....how can she be this adorable....’ then Alejandro look outside the cave the storm have stopped

“I have to go back..” hearing this you stiffen and fin sagging in disappointment your shoulder slumped but you know better that he need to go, he had a life there..

Taking his tactical vest and his shoe on, Alejandro slowly stand he noticed that he only can swim to the land

The distance between land from here is....far and unknown, glancing at you he notices your sulking aura...

“can...you bring me back?” you look at him whimpering quitely, his eyebrow’s furrow and kneel in front of you

“hey whats wrong..?” shaking your head as you trying to speak something but it came out like a wailing baby seal

You frustated not because you cant talk ,but its because you dont have more time with him you always wanted a human friend

Gently he reach your hand and rub it with his gloved tumb

Widen your eyes, you stared at his brown eyes

“I promise you...we will met again..same place....first time we meet..yeah?” you whimpering but felt relief that he wanted to spend time with you again

You wail in agreement and making your way to the ocean holding Alejandro hand

You swam while holding Alejandro's waist tightly as he hold your shoulder

Your eyes stare at his handsome face

“Hm? What's wrong?” you give him a sign that you're going to dive in, and he catches the sign and holds his breath

then you dive in bringing Alejandro with you and show him the beauty of the sea,the fish, the coral

Alejandro looked in amazement at the view you showed him, a pang of regret washed him knowing he cannot bring you with him

He also wanted to give you a tour of his home and the beauty of the land

“I miss so much...Alejandro” he whipped his head at you eyes widen in surprised

‘she can talk?? ‘

“eheh...we also can talk..but...only inside the water..hehe” your eyes crinkle as you smile

He love your sweet voice, ohh how he wish to hear it all day

“I—blrup?!!..” that Alejandro forgot he’s still in the water covering his mouth with his gloved hand, widen your eyes you quickly bring him back to the surface  

“Buah!!..ha...haa...sorry..” as he tried to breathe, you look ahead and saw a seashore wailing to tell him that we’re almost arrived

You swam faster as he holding you tightly, until you both arrive at the seashore

“Thank you...”

You smiled and nodded, but Alejandro does not letting go of his grip on your shoulder instead he embraced you and sniffed your sea water scent

Of course, you gaping your mouth flustered

“Promise me we will meet again his breath tickling your ear making it flutter, release his embrace he stare at you deep in the eye you didn't notice that he had already taken off his gloves

“Promise?” you squeal when he cup your cheek against his now bare hand, its feel rough but warm

Like being hypnotize you nod your head in daze then he kiss you cheek just like when you kiss his cheek  

‘?!!!!!’ face become red and hot as your eyes widen

“heh... although not much.. but this is my payment for you..”

You become  flustered as he chuckle patting you head

“Alejandro!!” a familliar voice making you snapped and ready to dive into the ocean but not before giving Alejandro final look and smile

‘Promise...we will meet again..’ then you swam away

“Alejandro!...you allright?” Soap making his way to Alejandro

“Aye..”

“Dont making us worried there hermano” the mowhak punches his shoulder playfull

“heh I’ll try not to” he smirk

“how did you survive?” ask Ghost, Alejandro just shrug and look on the way you dissapeared

“...just..someone owe me her life...” While Soap and Ghost looking each other confused on what the hell he talking about

Rudy just smiled knowing who that someone referred to

Prompt 300

Danny squirms and hisses, trying to dig his claws into dark scales as the clouds whistle by. “Wait- Ancients dammit- STOP!” he shrieked, cursing how tiny his own ghost form was compared to his other not-quite-future-self. Wings that could easily dwarf the entire Ops center beat through the air, fast enough to cause his eyes to sting. 

“Dan- bring me back- stop-” he wailed, despite the grip on his scruff not even loosening. Yet the larger dragon didn’t so much as twitch back towards Amity, the city disappearing into the distance like a speck. “We have to go back-” 

The GIW were- were- They had to go back! The portal was gone (exploded, broken and all of Fentonworks a smoldering mess, oh Ancients he’s gonna be sick-), no one could return to the Realms, they were all sitting ducks- 

“Jordan please-” he begged, even though he already knew that between the city, between every other ghost and them, Dan would always choose to keep them safe. But Jazz was hurt, she wasn’t waking up from where she lay limply cradled in Dan’s claws. 

There was so much blood, and he only knew she was still alive from the weak fluttering of her core, growing stronger as her heartbeat faded. She needed help, she needed doctors- he doesn’t know if she would be able to come back, not with how they were leaving the ecto-rich city behind and he didn’t want to lose her- Dan’s blank panic was swamping his own, drowning both of them in the emotion as the dragon tore through the sky. Some part of him knew they couldn’t stay in Amity anymore, but- But Jazz needed help- Danny couldn’t help the tears that dripped from his yes, pretending it was merely the clouds as they flew to places unknown to him.
