Noticed that people often say that they hate their own older art... When looking at it after a while, that they now see all the mistakes....And while that sometimes happens to me when beholding my older art... I usually end up liking it more than anything im currently working on. Because I always sort of forget what were the mistakes I made..so I dont see them anymore, and sometimes I completely forget that I drew the piece at all...So its like Im looking at a drawing by someone else, and I cant be too harsh towards past me.
#more often than not... i actually feel like past me had some really fucking neat ideas#many blunders but damn#many nice experiments too#so...this is a reason why sometimes the things i share i actually drew like a year ago and i ended up liking it enough only now#like eh good enough needs no fixin#if i have seen art by someone else that looks like that it would BE OK
