Daddy Dearest

It's interesting...

When I felt most like myself, I looked good and for the most part, I felt good. That was two years ago when I was in this place of spiritual awakening. I wouldn't say I blame my dad, but I blame my dad for scaring me back into fear. God was with me all along, and he thought I'd left him. I didn't. I made a vow to God that I'd take him with me on every journey that I embark on because I know he's going to steer me back home if I go off too far. That's between Him and I though. Not my father. His fear for me, has crippled me and I've allowed it to because when I try to be fearless and just be, his emotions and disconnection suffocates me in this house so I bow. And Daddy's happy but I'm back at stage one, 20 pounds heavier, and more lost than I was around my time of awakening.
