Look at these panels.

Loid is a perfectionist, in his line of work he has to be because any mistake can cost him his life. Anytime a situation doesn’t go the way he played it out inside his head, he beats himself up harshly and starts overthinking.

But thankfully Yor keeps him grounded, reminds him that he’s still human. She reminds Loid that what he wants for Anya is completely different from what Anya wants for herself. Yes school and grades comes first, but she’s still a little kid at heart and Yor wants her to have fun while doing it. Even though he makes these little mistakes when raising Anya, Yor reassures him that he’s still a wonderful father, “A perfect 100 points!”

Now Nightfall, while I do think her one-sided love for Loid is very funny and tragic at the same time, I don’t think any real progress would be made for Operation Strix if she was his wife.

Look at these 2 particular panels, Nightfall is quick to criticize Loid for focusing his efforts on “playing house” with Yor, Anya, and Bond. But the core of his mission IS TO PLAY HOUSE because he’s a Father, Husband, Pet Owner first and Spy second. By this point he finally realized that and readjusted himself thanks to his experiences with Anya, Yor and Bond hence why he seemed a little angry when she calls them “accessories” because that’s how Nightfall sees the family “accessories” to the mission.

Compared to Yor, Nightfall’s approach to motherhood would be no different than the very scientists that experimented on Anya and gave her telepathic powers. "Give me results, I want results. You're just a means to an end, I could care less about what you want. It's about what I WANT and I HAVE A DEADLINE TO MEET." In the end Anya would hate school more and it would just bring up bad memories of those scientists, causing her overall well-being to plummet and the mission to fail before it could gain any traction.

It's why Yor and Loid work so well. They may not be the perfect parents but they work so hard to give Anya the childhood they both couldn't have when they were younger. They understand what works and what doesn't and learn from their mistakes. Aside from being good parents they also strive to be the best fake Husband and Wife to each other. They lean on each other for emotional support and give reassurance even when they doubt themselves.

Although they deny it with every fiber in their being, Yor and Loid love each other so much. Not only are they able to devote themselves even more to the reason why they became a Spy/Assassin, but they both grew and became better people because of it and now have something to look forward to when they go home.

Aww! Bond apologizing to the penguin with fish after having a rough day of being hypervigilant at home alone is so sweet. I hope he can have more restful days now that he’s not worried about the penguin trying to exact revenge😭

AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!THIS CHAPTER!!! 😫

Okay... First off, we pick up where we left off in Part 2 and Twilight stops trying kill Franky (for the moment...) And we then get Franky spitting out the facts...:

I don't how many times it has to said, but... War really is pointless, and I wish it didn't have to happen... I just hope that one day everyone will stop fighting with each other and just live peacefully together... 😔

Anyway, back to the chapter...

After Twilight gets injured by some Ostanian soldiers and Franky escapes, THIS HAPPENS:

AND I WAS LIKE:

WHA-WHAT!? THEIR ALIVE?!!

And then, this happened...:

AAAAHHHHHH!! 😫TWILIGHT'S CRYING!! ENDOOOOOOOOO!!

There's no possible way for this to end bad--

WHY DO YOU KEEP HURTING HIM ENDO!! WHYYYY!!! 💔💔💔

And after that second wave of heartbreak, we get probably one of my new favorite panels:

Everything about this panel is amazing and I just love it, even though it's quite sad...

Then, we finally got to meet the one that recruited Twilight (and it's not Sylvia...) It's a man that we don't know anything about yet, but I do hope that we see him again...!

And then Twilight wakes up...! And we get THIS BOMBSHELL:

I FREAKING KNEW IT!!

I've been wondering since Mission 62 Part 1 why we were suddenly getting Twilight's backstory...! My theory was it was because of him fainting at the end of Mission 61, AND I WAS RIGHT!!! 😄

ENDO, YOU SON OF BITCH!! I LOVE YA!!! 😆

Anyway, this was fantastic conclusion to Twilight's backstory and I'm so excited to see what happens next!!! But until then I'll leave you with the final image this chapter! Until next Mission!! Bye! ✌😁

I can’t stop getting emotional about how tenderly a shepherd caresses his dog’s face on this marble sarcophagus from the third century

The dog’s face is just so lovingly crafted and it’s much more finely detailed than some of the other animals in the piece. The expression is pure contentment and devotion. This scene is a tiny portion of a huge elaborate sculpture but I really feel like the artist was trying to capture a specific emotion with these two. The way that you feel when you look at your dog is thousands of years old.

Clone’s Best Friend

“Cute dog!” the girl says. “What breed is he?”

“Uh,” blinks Kon. "Are you asking what breed Superdog is?"

“Uh, duh?”

Well. She’ll have to forgive him his stunned expression, ‘cause he doesn’t usually run into other dog walkers on this path. This is, of course, because “path” is used in the loosest sense, the one that connotates direction and not tread ground, and the “walk” bit is entirely inapplicable, with all of them currently flying one thousand feet above sea level.

“Cujo’s a rescue,” she continues, swinging her feet in the sky, “so we don’t know for sure, but my sister thinks part husky, part shar pei. Half-and-half, like me!”

Cujo is also, apparently, half green and half glowing. He wiggles happily in a play-bow. It’s very cute, except for the way he’s the size of a small house.

Krypto’s tough, though. He barks and chases his new friend through cloud cover. Gamely, Cujo flees. They frolic in the chilly condensation, occasionally poking a head out before diving back in, like a fox in a snowdrift.

Neither of them see anything surprising about this. It’s all good fun. And, well. Krypto’s always been a good judge of character.

Kon turns back to the girl and gives her a megawatt smile.

“He’s Kryptonian. Like me. But he looks like a white lab!”

Today's Mission was a short a one...

Short Mission 8 to be exact!! 😆

And here were my thoughts about it!! 😊

Like every other Short Mission, we mainly follow one character apart of the cast (minus the time we followed the man hoe known as Bondman...! That was insane! 😌) And this time around it's about our local good boy, BOND!! (And Franky!!) 😆

And he's IN LOVE!! 💗 (And so is Franky, again...! 😌)

I mean, just look at Bond...!! He's smitten!! 😆

And of course, Franky asks Bond if he would be his dog, like he did back in Mission 50...

But this time, Bond excepts the offer... FOR LOVE!! 💗🐶💗

And gotta admit... Franky is lookin' Swanky!

The two lovebirds meet up with their ladies and mingle...! 😎 (This Lady be lookin' a lot like Yor...!)

Bond tries make the moves on her, but ends up getting drenched in water (lookin' how he did in Mission 58 😖) and well...:

Damn... Poor Bond... 💔

To try and impress her one last time, Bond pulls out his last resort, A GIFT!! (And Franky is going in a little too strong with the "I Love Yooouuuu!" 😅)

But, uh...

Yeah... It didn't work out

And Bond and Franky walk into the sunset...!

I couldn't have said it better myself...! 😌

And that's end of Short Mission 8! It was really fun!! 😄 I loved all the callbacks and the fact that Franky and Bond get to team up again!! (Seriously, when is Yor and Bond gonna team up in a chapter?! 😤)

I know that everyone probably wanted the actual next chapter of Spy X Family, but I'm okay with this...! (Especially since the last 3 chapters were pretty... Traumatic... To say the least...! 😢) But anyway, that's all gotta say about this chapter!! I'll see you all in the next Mission...! 😁 Later! 👋😎👍
