๐ฃ Who else cannot wait for Season 3 as we now have a synopsis of what will happen?
I am excited, even though the storyline of the show sounds different than the one in the books. However, there are key scenes that just have to be in the show. Letโs just say: asking, mirror and carriage ๐
Are there scenes from the book you just want to see?

Guten Morgen meine Lieben
Werbung selbstbezahlt und wegen der Autoren Nennung
Ich habe von Cornelia Funke Tintenblut gelesen.
Inhalt Klapptext:

โจ Another read for a literature class and I liked this one even if the ending was too open for me as I like books to tell me what the ending is and not leaving it open for interpretation.โจโจโจ I liked how the characters were challenged to grow but I do have to admit that my own viewpoints and opinions sometimes made it hard to remember that the book is set in the 90s and a lot has changed since then.
๐Goodreads-Synopsis:โจIn Shaker Heights, a placid, progressive suburb of Cleveland, everything is plannedโfrom the layout of the winding roads, to the colors of the houses, to the successful lives its residents will go on to lead. And no one embodies this spirit more than Elena Richardson, whose guiding principle is playing by the rules.
Enter Mia Warrenโan enigmatic artist and single motherโwho arrives in this idyllic bubble with her teenaged daughter Pearl, and rents a house from the Richardsons. Soon Mia and Pearl become more than tenants: all four Richardson children are drawn to the mother-daughter pair. But Mia carries with her a mysterious past and a disregard for the status quo that threatens to upend this carefully ordered community.
When old family friends of the Richardsons attempt to adopt a Chinese-American baby, a custody battle erupts that dramatically divides the townโand puts Mia and Elena on opposing sides. Suspicious of Mia and her motives, Elena is determined to uncover the secrets in Miaโs past. But her obsession will come at unexpected and devastating costs.
Little Fires Everywhereย explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, and the ferocious pull of motherhoodโand the danger of believing that following the rules can avert disaster.ย ๐

โจI enjoyed this one a lot and it was another finished in one sitting book for me.
โจIt has a romcom feel to it as we follow Hyacinth and Gareth trying to figure out a family mystery while falling in love. However, I think that the characters not being able to find what they are looking for in the mystery until the second epilogue in the 9th book is a little bit annoying. I like that the books are finished within itself and you do not have to read all of the books to be able to enjoy one of them, which makes it a little frustrating IMO.
โจIt is not in my top tier ranking of the Bridgerton series but rather in the middle.

โจ Had to read this one for a class that talked about books and their movie/film adaptations so while I usually try not to read a book close to watching a movie I had to do it this time and while I liked both I felt that some key elements and characters from the book where missing from the film. And I could not take Anthony Mackie serious as the villain because of some Marvel interviews I had seen where he kept goofing off and seemed like a very like-able person.
โจ In general I really liked this book and can only recommend it but beware that it is not an easy read in terms of the topic.โจI thrifted this book from worldofbooks and I was very disappointed. The prices were great but I had to pay extra customs even if it came from another country in Europe, which then would have made it cheaper to buy new and it was not in the great condition it was said to be in. So that was the last time I will order from there and will stick to my usual sites when thrifting books.
๐Goodreads-Synopsis:โจSixteen-year-old Starr lives in two worlds: the poor neighbourhood where she was born and raised and her posh high school in the suburbs. The uneasy balance between them is shattered when Starr is the only witness to the fatal shooting of her unarmed best friend, Khalil, by a police officer. Now what Starr says could destroy her community. It could also get her killed.๐

My favourite Marvel character in his villain origin story.
If you like the Marvel movies and Loki this is a read you should not miss. Sometimes the characters are different across the different media but this really is the Loki we know (and love) from the MCU.

One of my favourites in the series.. Is it because Benedict is one of my favourite characters in the show ?๐ค maybe ๐
This re-telling of Cinderella within the regency era is just too good to miss out on and hereโs to hoping that Sophie will be introduced in season 3 of the Netflix Show so that Season 4 will be all about the artistic second Bridgerton son

Read this one parallel to watching Season 2 of the Show.
This was the one that got me really hooked on the Bridgerton series and I bought the remaining parts before I had even finished reading so I would not have to wait and could just keep on reading.

โจ While I understand that it is not the usual love story I do not get the hype about this book. It was nice but I need quotation marks when characters speak because whenever someone said something it was followed by xyz said and it ruined the flow for me a little.
โจ The characters are flawed and aware of it for the most part but I wanted to scream and throw the book whenever they would just not talk to each other and drag out situations and hurt because they were just not communicating.
๐Goodreads-Synopsis: โจAt school Connell and Marianne pretend not to know each other. He's popular and well-adjusted, star of the school football team, while she is lonely, proud, and intensely private. But when Connell comes to pick his mother up from her job at Marianne's house, a strange and indelible connection grows between the two teenagers--one they are determined to conceal.
A year later, they're both studying at Trinity College in Dublin. Marianne has found her feet in a new social world while Connell hangs at the sidelines, shy and uncertain. Throughout their years at university, Marianne and Connell circle one another, straying toward other people and possibilities but always magnetically, irresistibly drawn back together. And as she veers into self-destruction and he begins to search for meaning elsewhere, each must confront how far they are willing to go to save the other.๐

โจ This book was pure perfection for me. A great story with characters you liked and hated and something I had not read before. However, I felt that the ending was a little predictable after a while but it still was not exactly as I thought it would be. While I kind of want there to be a movie adaptation I kind of donโt want one because I fear of what they are going to leave out or add when it should just be turned into a script the way it is.
๐Goodreads-Synopsis: โจNora's life has been going from bad to worse. Then at the stroke of midnight on her last day on earth she finds herself transported to a library. There she is given the chance to undo her regrets and try out each of the other lives whe might have lived.
Which raises the ultimate question: with infinite choices, what is the best way to live?๐

โจ Watched a slime tutorial of this musical and there were certain things missing in the storyline for me to fully grasp it. Am I still listening to the songs all the time? Not at all and definitely not โRequiemโ with its amazing lyrics :P
โจ I liked this book a lot more than the show because the characters were a lot more fleshed out and we got to learn not only Evanโs motives but why Connor did what he did which made him a lot more like-able than the musicalโs version.
Cannot say anything about the movie because I donโt really want to watch it.โจMainly because of its controversies and why didnโt they just make a pro-shot of the stage version instead of whatever that movie was?โจโจ๐Goodreads-Synopsis:โจWhen a letter that was never meant to be seen draws high school senior Evan Hansen into the Murphy family's grief over the loss of their son, he is given the chance of a lifetime:ย to belong.
He just has to stick to a lie he never meant to tell.
That the notoriously troubled Connor Murphy was his secret best friend.
Suddenly, Evan isn't invisible anymore. And Connor's wealthy parents have taken him in like he was their own, desperate to know more about their enigmatic son from his 'closest friend'.
As Evan gets pulled deeper into their family, he knows that what he's doing may not be right, but if he's helping people, how wrong can it be?
No longer tangled in his once-incapacitating anxiety, this new Evan has a purpose.
He's confident. He's a viral phenomenon. Every day is amazing. But when everything is in danger of unravelling, he comes face to face with his greatest obstacle: himself.
A simple lie leads to complicated truths in this big-hearted coming-of-age story of grief, authenticity and the struggle to belong in an age of instant connectivity and profound isolation.๐

โจ Synopsis sounded good, the cover was beautiful but man the writingโฆโจI finished it because I wanted to know how it ended but the characters infuriated me. It is a wonder that my eyes are not stuck to the back of my head from rolling them so much.
The POV is constantly switching between the two main characters which is fine but they both donโt really learn anything by the end of the book and overall it is very predictable throughout the whole story.โจโจ
๐Goodreads-Synopsis (translated by me): โจNever would Ivy Redmond have guessed that she would run into the boy of her dreams on her first day at the University of Central Florida. Ryan MacCain is not only is he cocky, sexy and mysterious but his dorm room is the one right next to hers. Every look from Ryanโs green eyes, every coincidental touch makes Ivyโs heart tumble in her chest. But just like Ivy is Ryan not the person he pretends to be. Because Ivy is a rich manโs daughter away in secret at the university. And Ryan is her secret bodyguard.๐

โจ Had to read this for a class and present on it. This time we got to chose which novel we would present on and as I knew that my brother had this book and would not have to spend any money, as well as having read John Green before, I knew that I would want to read this one. โจโจ
โจ I liked it even if there are parts I am unsure about because I did not read it with as much attention as I should have. Or maybe I cannot give it a better rating because it made me learn things about myself I was not yet ready to face when reading this book.โจBut this is once again another great YA novel written by John Green and I look forward to seeing the film.
๐Goodreads-Synopsis:
It all begins with a fugitive billionaire and the promise of a cash reward. Turtles All the Way Down is about lifelong friendship, the intimacy of an unexpected reunion, Star Wars fan fiction, and tuatara. But at its heart is Aza Holmes, a young woman navigating daily existence within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts. ๐

โจAs a fan of Greyโs Anatomy I was excited to read this (and find this book at a reasonable price). I liked the style of it and that it had so many comments from the people involved in the show. However, there are not nearly as many background and behind the scenes infos as a fan would like. Most of these behind the scenes secrets the book told are stories that have been around for a long time and are known to most fans. โจFor the the most disappointing chapter was the one about special episodes as some episodes got a lot of attention and others that are (once again in my opinion) important, such as the one about domestic violence where we learn about how Jo Wilson was trapped in an abusive marriage or the episode or the plane crash where one of the shows most beloved couples (Lexie and Mark) died, were barely or not at all mentioned.
โจ Every now and then I enjoy a non-fiction book, especially if it is something I am generally interested in. Any topic you like to read about?
