it is no surprise that shikanoin heizou intentionally acts like a little shit.

the lazy grin on his face is full of amusement as his eyes trail you pacing around his office, a frown on your face that steals his interest. although he knows why you’re so occupied with thoughts, he acts oblivious—raising an expectant eyebrow when you finally turn towards him, ready with the usual chastise and lecture.

“why do you always run around without my permission?” narrowing your eyes, you place a hand on his desk to abruptly lean forward. he, annoyingly, only smiles and welcomes the intrusion of close proximity, holding eye contact and simply waiting for you to continue. “i keep getting complaints that you're bothering innocent inazuman civilians and dragging them into your little detective problems. care to explain why?”

“innocent liyue citizens,” he calmly corrects with a head tilt, and you have to hold back the urge to smack the audacity out of him with a sucked-in breath. “and i finished my work. and i was bored. and maybe they weren’t oh-so innocent?”

you can’t help but glare. “and what is that supposed to mean?”

“what it means,” he starts, with the know-it-all look you pretend you don't love so much; standing up from his chair and leaning even more towards you. you can feel your whole face and body warming up when heizou practically gets nose-to-nose with you, completely casual like he does this everyday. “—is that i unintentionally got myself a new case, and fortunately dragged my cherished manager into it.”

you step back quickly with both confusion and fervor—and to your absolute dismay, it’s evident that your flustered look generously feeds into the detective's amusement as well. the only thing you can do is to scoff to hide your fluster and mess of composure.

“fortunately?” you go right back to glaring to act like your little crush on heizou doesn’t exist. you fail miserably. “d-don’t you mean unfortunately?”

he hums in thought. your eyes carefully track him as he steps away from his desk, tensing up when he stands right next to you with that cute grin that looks like his eyes are smiling too. heizou puts his hands behind his back as he tilts forward, throwing personal space right out of the window.

“fortunately. because i get to stay and work with you.”

(he’s way too smug for his own good... and for your own, too.)

Basic guidelines:

Anyone can join! Whether you’d like to use this event as a way to start your journey in art/gfx/writing or if you’re an experienced writer wanting to write more about a well-written character, everyone is welcome!

Fluff, hurt/comfort and angst are all okay for the event. But do u rly wanna hurt the birthday boy with angst :(

Regarding deadlines, it would be great if you can post on the day of his birthday (in your timezone), but I also understand that everyone has commitments outside of tumblr, so it’s okay if you can’t do so.

To join, send in an ask with the prompt of your choice as well as whether you will be submitting a fic, art piece or gfx set. For example: Hi! May I join the event? I’m interested in doing a fic for Abyssal Mayhem: Hydrospout - “We would be unstoppable”!

There are two prompts under each constellation and both are up for grabs. 

Do note that only each prompt can only be taken by one person per category (writing, art, gfx). I’ll update it as soon as I can!

If you would like to join with an idea that does not fit any one of the prompts, you may still join, but please give a brief idea of your story. You will be included at the last section!

The sun begins to peek above the horizon as you cuddle farther into Yoimiya's side, wrapping the blanket around you tightly. She slings an arm across your shoulders, pressing a kiss to your temple. The sight of the beginning of a day was one that you would never forget especially since you got to share it with your lover. In a hushed voice she says, "Wow, isn't that pretty?" Nodding against her shoulder, you quietly respond, "Yeah, but not as pretty as you." The sudden flirt causes Yoimiya to turn away and cough in an attempt to cover up her flustered state. You giggle as she pouts and exclaims, "That's not fair! You can't catch me off guard like that!" A wide grin breaks out on your face as you lean up to kiss the tip of her nose. "I couldn't help it, you're just too cute, Sparky."

imagine popular childe x student council president reader/you or whatever u call it!! (i literally write fanfiction and forgot the term haha..) he takes note that you're the only person that doesn't notice him or isn't head over heels for him, so he makes a small goal of trying to get your attention. except everytime he does attempt something, you just give him a curt response and walk away with the same excuse that "you're busy". and then suddenly, childe is the one head over heels for you and he makes a even bigger goal of stealing your heart instead of just your attention AHHHH
