Tank
I had an idea like last minute before bed and stayed up way, wayyyy to late to get it all down. Anyway, enjoy!
Dream had been kicked out of his colony
He knew he could be a bit of a prick sometimes, and sometimes he got too lost in the moment and went overboard, but he couldn't help it!
His higher thought would go on the back burner, and he'd just be in the moment.
He knew he deserved to be kicked out, though. It was his fault the kid was dead, after all.
He'd just been teasing the teenager a little bit, and maybe he went to far, kept at it for too many weeks
But one day the kid had just ran off
Next he knew, they were getting news that the teen had been snatched up by one of the humans living in the apartment complex, and that the colony had to move.
Not Dream, though. He was forced to stay, because it was his fault the kid had run off, and his death was on Dream's hands.
The colony didn't want a murderer in their midst, even if it was an unintentional one
Dream could survive just fine on his own, of course, but the loneliness was drowning him in a cesspit of regret and loathing and the longing for any sort of company.
He just wished that he had somebody to talk to.
°°°°°°
So when Tommy hears his human, Wilbur, shout out, 'gotcha,' and a small, terrified scream, you know he's running in the bean's direction
He's not afraid of Wilbur hurting the other borrower
But he doesn't want the new guy to have a heart attack
When he gets to the kitchen, he tells Wilbur to let him say hello
But when he sees who the human's holding, his body shuts down
It's Dream, the man who tormented him for months
The bastard had made Tommy want to die, and eventually the teen had run off and been caught by Wilbur, who was pretty good, for a human
Tommy freaks, and Dream is both terrified of the bean and amazed that Tommy's still alive
But Tommy tells Wilbur that, 'that's the guy that–that messed with my head, I don't, keep him away! Lock him up or something"
So Wilbur puts Dream in a terrarium
Where Tommy convinces Wilbur that Dream's an absolute bastard and would kill them both if he had the chance
So Wilbur grows contemptful of Dream and hates him for what Tommy told him he did
So he kinda sorta neglects the other borrower
So Dream is a little more than starved, and definitely stuck in the tank
And he grows much weaker than he was
It doesn't take long for a borrower to grow weak from starvation
Less than the human standard of three weeks, but more than the mouse standard of two days
About a week, probably
Wilbur still puts food in the tank for him, of course
But sometimes he's away for trips
One such trip he can't bring Tommy with him (he usually does, cause he doesn’t want to leave the teen alone with Dream)
So he leaves him at his apartment
He forgets to leave enough food in the tank for Dream though, in the rush to leave
And his trip will take about two weeks
Sometimes Tommy will come by to gloat and just talk to Dream during this span of time
And he does notice that Dream seems to be getting thinner and weaker
But he doesn't think much of it until the day that he finds Dream slumped on the ground of the tank, against the glass wall, breathing weakly
He asks what's wrong, because despite his hate for the man, he isn't cruel, doesn't want to actually hurt him
So Dream avoids the question by telling the teen that he's sorry for what he did to him
That he didn't mean to go so far, but sometimes he just lost himself in the actions and forgot basic decency, that it was entirely Dream's fault and he doesn't want the teen to think any of it was his own fault
And Tommy asks him why now, why apologize now, you could've done that weeks ago
And Dream tells Tommy that he's going to die, that he only has two, maybe one day left.
And Tommy freaks out, really looking at the man closely
The other borrower is stick thin, and his clothes are so baggy on him they look like they might fall off at any moment
Tommy demands to know what's going on, so Dream wearily tells the teen that he was starving to death. That the human (Wilbur) hadn't left him anything to eat like he usually would before he left on his long trip
With a horrifying realization, Tommy understood
That was five days ago. Dream hadn't eaten in five days. That was practically a death sentence for a borrower, because once you went past that half week mark, you would probably be too weak to scavenge for food.
That's why they lived in colonies, as double insurance to stay alive and could provide help if someone needed it.
He tries to get the older borrower to say anything else, but he had evidently passed out
Panicking, Tommy scaled down the table, across the living room into the kitchen, and up the counter to a spread of non-perishables like crackers that Wilbur left out for him
Grabs one, and makes his way all the way back to the tank. It doesn't take him long to climb into the tank, the lid is open and his hook line makes it easy
He drops down inside, pulling in his hook with him and runs his way over to Dream
He can't let the other borrower die
He just can't, especially when the man’s supposed last words wore an apology to Tommy
Tommy tries to get Dream to eat the cracker chunks he brought, but the man is practically unresponsive
It takes a thin cracker-water mash (he'd had the water in a tiny flask he carried in his bag, some tinfoil mad a bowl) to bring motion to Dream, who's eyes flicker open to land on Tommy, then the cracker-water
He turns his head away, telling Tommy not to bother
But the teen convinces Dream to eat more of it until Dream turns away again, this time telling Tommy that he'll get really sick if he eats anything more
Tommy doesn't like it, cause Dream hardly ate anything, but acquiesces nonetheless
For the rest of the week, until Wilbur comes back, Tommy brings Dream food several times a day
Dream gets better, during this time, but he's still way too thin under his clothes and still can't walk very far
When Wilbur gets back Tommy tells him to let Dream go
He has realized that what he had been doing to Dream (by proxy of Wilbur) was wrong, and that he can't do that to the man anymore
Wilbur, meanwhile, feels awful about forgetting to leave Dream any food before he left and nearly killing him
He does as Tommy says, and lets Dream down next to a wall exit
Dream stumbles through it, and while both borrower and bean are worried about the state of the other borrower when he left, the obvious desire to get away from both of them was plain in Dream’s voice and posture
It's not even four days later that Tommy finds Dream collapsed in one of the many walkways inside of the walls, looking worse than he did when he was let go
He tries to wake the older borrower up, but nothing he does works
Dream looks thin again, too which scares Tommy
Taglist that I forgor:
He drags to taller man out to Wilbur, who immediately tries to wake Dream up as well, no dice
They make a thin broth for the comatose borrower, and Tommy carefully pours a little bit into Dream's mouth (presently aware of what Dream had told him was 'refeeding syndrome,' during the week that Tommy had been bringing him food (a human term) hoping to rejuvenate the man a little
It doesn't, but Wilbur tells him to give Dream a little more in about fifteen minutes, and, "how fast are your metabolism, Tommy?"
Tommy doesn't know, but after about an hour Dream rouses a little bit
He freaks, at first, seeing Tommy and, more importantly, Wilbur again
But they both explain what happened.
Tommy tells Dream that he can't leave until he's back to one hundred percent again, so he won't die, and Wilbur agrees
"You're not—" Dream winces uncertainly, baring his teeth in a fearful grimace. "You're not going to stick me back in the tank, a—are you?"
They don't, and they let Dream recover all of his strength after several months
They bond over that time, and Tommy forgives Dream
Dream loses the majority of his fear of Wilbur, too, along the way, and they grow to be good acquaintances
If Dream ever starts to go to far with anything he says or does, a heavy word or a parting hand from a human—Wilbur—will easily snap Dream back into reality
While the older borrower is a bit reclusive, he hangs out quite a lot with Tommy and, to a lesser extent, Wilbur (even though the human still scares him sometimes).
He was very social, after all, before he got kicked out of his colony

〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
"George! Sapnap! Come over here." A blond shouted from outside their small makeshift home, two brunettes peeked outsidr gasping once they saw; a rabbit was laying beside the borrower with a weirdly large sharp object. "YO, YOU HUNTED WITHOUT US!?" Sapnap whined as he ran next to the blond. "Unfair dude." Dream laughed at his antics and motioned over for the two boys to help him prepare to cook it.
"How'd you stab it with this." George gestured to the item used to impale the poor animal, "It's probably quite heavy." Dream chuckled and responded quite quickly, "I used it to make a trap." George accepted the reason and continued to help the other borrowers drag the rabbit to their cooking area. The fire was controlled and calm. It danced across the circle it was built around; the item that once stabbed the rabbit was long gone and thrown aside.
Dream and Sapnap were tending to the fire whilst George grabbed the rabbits fur and placed it in their home for his crafts, Dream sighed in content as he looked at the perfectly cooked rabbit. Sapnap stood beside him, splashing the fire below; making it die down. George walked over, placing down a bucket of water.
Sapnap reached out his hand to grab a peice of the rabbit meat, "Sapnap wash your hands first!" George demanded pointing at the pail. Sapnap groaned and knelt down to wash his dirt covered hand, dirt and grime were washed away in the swirling clear liquid; his doused hand flicked away droplets of water on the ground. Dream laughed as the next thing he saw was the black-haired male lunged towards the cooked rabbit.
George chuckled at the way Dream's shoulders shook as he laughed, The two other borrowers walked over to grab a share of the rabbit for themselves aswell. The three males chatted around; having fun as they slowly consumed the rabbit.
It was now early night when they finished cleaning up the remains of the mammal and headed inside their small home, they made use of what they could it was fairly furnished and the boys were delighted that they atleast had their own sleeping quarters. They made their way's into their seperate room's.
George instantly wobbled over to his bed and flopped down, slowly drooping his eyes as he was enveloped into the duvets; Sapnap was simply laying on his bed unable to sleep whilst Dream was preparing the items he needed for the berry hunt with Sapnap the following morning.
***
"Sapnap!" Dream pounded at the brunette's door. Faint snores were heard from behind the door; Groaning, Dream went over to the kitchen area to prepare breakfast for the two sleeping boys. It wasn't much, but he was able to prepare some mushroom soup with fresh orange juice.
Sapnap stumbled into the room obviously still tired, "Finally you're awake." Dream acknowledged as he handed the shorter a bowl of mushroom stew and a cup of orange juice. "Just give me a bit, and we can go berry hunting." Sapnap yawned as he slurped up his meal. "Dude, I've been waiting for so long. It's also quite a long walk. You better not make me carry you."; Sapnap huffed and wordlessly walked to his room to change. Dream grabbed his backpack and axe, heading over to the door, leaning beside it.
Dream hummed to himself; tapping lightly at the wall he was leaning on, patiently waiting for the brunette to finish getting ready. Sapnap exited his room; sword in hand. "Let's get going, dude." Dream gestured for Sapnap to follow him, and they made their way to the edge of the forest.
"Dream, you brought the bag, right?" The brunette asked the taller, "Yea, it's with me."; Sapnap nodded, pleased with the reply as they trekked across the towering forest. Light conversations were made to pass by the time, followed by some light jokes. Sapnap whined in complaint as his legs felt the weight of having to walk for so long. "We're close, Sap."
Suddenly, booming footsteps rang around the borrower's eardrums; hiding for safety as two humans walked over to the area, Sapnap was about to speak, but Dream slapped a hand on the brunette's mouth. The humans above them; unbeknownst to the borrowers hiding under a rocky area, started blabbering.
"Hey man, did you hear the government is hosting a contest for borrowers to have an equal living in this world." One of the snobby males spoke, "Ugh- the mayor's daughter feels sympathy for those pests," the other retorted. "But hey? I heard if you entered a borrower and they won, you'd get a cash prize!", "Can you believe how much people are paying to get a strong and live borrower now?"
The two humans walked away laughing, Sapnap noticed the blond's hand still attached to his mouth. The brunette licked the others hand, receiving a scolding. "Dude!? Ew." Dream shook his hand in an attempt to shake away the bits of saliva. "Cmon, they're gone. Let's get the berries and dip."; the shorter announced as he ran over to the berry bushes.
Dream took a simple risk and climbed on top of a shrub to reach the grapes, whilst Sapnap collected barberries. The two silently did their task until Sapnap broke the silence, "Uhm Dream?"; the blond hummed in acknowledgment yet continued to collect grapes. "Earlier, the human's said there's a competition for us borrowers to have an equal living?".
"Yea? What about it." Dream now switched his attention fully to the brunette, Sapnap continued."I was wondering if we should join?"; Dream furrowed his eyebrows. "Sapnap," a sigh came out of the blond's throat. "That's too risky. We can't possibly know what happens if we lose. And it's likely gonna be a public competition, too many people in one area, anything can happen..." Dream reasoned.
"I was just thinking since- since it's kinda getting tiring fighting for survival..." Sapnap replied with a downcast tone. The taller came down the shrub he was previously on and walked over to the brunette, "Don't worry, Sap, We'll be fine,".
"I promise."
They finished collecting the berries soon enough and trudged across the forest oncemore to reach their home. "Dude, I loath being so small! These barberries are so heavy!" "Yea, I'm with you there. Grapes aren't lighter." They chuckled and brushed off the weight of the berries and continued their walk home. Sapnap noticed the shift in the blond's stance as he actively turned his gaze, cautiously watching the area.
"You okay, man?" Dream's head snapped to look at the brunette walking beside him, "Yea- yea... Just being cautious." Sapnap snickered, "Loosen up, dude. we haven't seen humans go this far in the forest for a while." The taller nodded. "Okay- okay, I might be a bit too on edge."
***
Once they reached their home, they were instantly tackled by George, "You guys took so long! I was starting to get worried!" George blurted out. "Aww! So Gogy does care about us!" Sapnap sneered. Dream wheezed as his two friends continued their antics. "Anyways, George, I got your fav; grape's~", George pounced up and rummaged through the bags the two males brought back, releasing a victory noise once he got ahold of the berry.
"Anyways, it's getting late. We should get these inside." Sapnap and Dream agreed, dragging the bags inside. And then played a chaotic peaceful dinner. George and Sapnap were rambling about something while Dream sat quietly in thought.
"I'm gonna head to bed." Sapnap and George looked at each other questionably yet shrugged and let the taller sleep.
Dream sighed, sitting on his bed, his head ached with how many horrible outcomes spiraled. He gently layed down; his eyes fell closed as he drifted off to a dreamless sleep.
***
A shriek made Dream jump up from his bed; axe in hand, the dirty blond sprinted out. Sapnap was screaming in panic as George was nowhere in sight. Suddenly, a horrendously hoarse laugh made Dream realize what was happening. "LET HIM GO YOU PRICK!"
A human.
More specifically, a human hunter who is currently holding George in a fist. George squirmed in the man's grip as the man reached down to grab Sapnap. "SAP!" Dream screamed. Before he could do anything else, he was grabbed aswell and they were all stuffed into the man's bag. They all could faintly hear the hunter above them speak, "You guys can put up a fight, I'm gonna be rich with yall."
"Oh, prime- this can't be real." Sapnap panicked, George stirred quietly, panic clear in his face. "Calm down- we'll be fine." Dream reassured the two other males. "We'll be fine, don't worry." Sapnap scoffed but said nothing else. Arguing wouldn't help their situation. They felt the man start walking as the bag they were in lightly bounced.
The trio held each other close, keeping each other calm and collected it felt it were hours in the dark bag. Sapnap and George fell asleep a while ago, Dream stayed awake, call in paranoia, yet there was a weird unknown feeling crawling around his neck. The blond knew the 'easiest' way to get out of their current situation, but he had to find other more reasonable options.
Dream nervously sat there in silence, muffled voices taunting him from outside, humans, they were probably at a village. The two brunette's stirred in their slumber. Suddenly, the bag swayed dangerously, and they were all dumped into a wood seeming table.
White filled their vision, blinding them as the light shifted. Dream was the first to adjust to the shift and could now hear the conversation of the two humans above him. "I'd like to enter these three in the contest." The hunter who caught them spoke as the woman on the other side hummed and they continued the conversation while Dream ran over to Sapnap and George who held their head in pain from making contact with the table so roughly.
With labored breath's Dream grit his teeth and stood up to stare at the hunter, "What are you planning to do to us?!" The woman behind them chuckled, "You got a fiesty one ay?" The blond knitted his brow in anger as the hunter laughed. "Yeah, I have a feeling I'll be rich and these pest's can put up a fight, dying is definitely not on their to-do list,"
The borrower trio looked up the two humans in worry, "Anyways, I'll be heading home, I'll definitely see you at the competition." Then the tinies were violently shoved back into the pouch. Dream radiated pure hatred as he pulled his hair. Suddenly, Sapnap spoke out of breath. "Dream-" Green eyes snapped towards the two brunettes; Sapnap shook as he lifted George's head. "He's bleeding."
Dream shook as he put pressure onto George's head with a cloth; which was doused in blood. He swallowed the spit that collected in his mouth and turned to look at the other brunette who was soundlessly sleeping.
***
Dream hadn't got a wink of sleep. He stayed up tending to George, and the lack of air circulation wasn't helping. Sweat had pooled at their foreheads, and Dream felt sickeningly sticky and wet. Sapnap was beginning to wake up and uncomfortably shifted around. Sapnap stomach growled loudly, and he whined. "Dude, is he even gonna feed us? How does he expect us to fight in that contest if we're starving-"
"Surely he will, or at least let's hope."
George had gotten significantly better and woke up a while ago yet immediately fell back asleep due to his weak state. Sapnap and Dream chatted in attempt to dismiss the overwhelming heat inside the damp, hot, bag. They heard shuffling noises from outside and the bag was opened, as light seeped through the opening a hand emerged and grabbed all three of them, placing them in a cage.
"I'm gonna have to feed you guys, ugh-" He tossed a loaf of bread into the cage, locking it before turning to go to a different room. "Uhm atleast there's food?" Dream hesitantly said. Sapnap was inspecting the plain bread while Dream inspected the contents of the cage. The blond scrunched his nose when he saw a water bowl in the cage yet shrugged and walk over to it.
Dream took some of the water and dabbed it across the wound on George's forehead. The brunette groaned as the blond let him down to rest. Sapnap appeared behind Dream, handing him a chunk of the bread. "Here, man, you need to eat as well." Dream gratefully took the chunk and sighed as he slumped. Sapnap was seen huddling up beside Dream, holding a soft cloth he found lying around.
Dream sighed as he started giving into his instincts and slept alongside the two other males.
***
Sapnap groaned as he woke up seeing Dream punching the walls on one side of the cage, "Dream?" The blond had beads of sweat dripping down his face as he stared at Sapnap, "Sapnap! You okay?" Dream worriedly asked. "Yea- yea, I'm fine. What are you doing, tho?"
"I'm uhm-" Dream sputtered for a second, "Training, just in case." Sapnap nodded, not wanting to push further. George was in the corner shallow breaths, leaving his lips. Sapnap's gazed back at the blond who was now doing push ups, Sapnap was genuinely surprised by the blond—seeing him work out was quite almost a rare sight to see considering he would wake up extremely early to exercise on his own.
Sapnap was quite baffled that the blond would be embarrassed of working out, but his efforts definitely showed. Suddenly, the hunter came back, holding what seemed to be a piece of cooked meat in hand. "I got you guys beef. It should be good for protein." Dream shot multiple glares at the hunter; which was dismissed. The hunter placed a cup of water and the cooked beef into the cage, leaving right after.
Dream stared at the plastic cup filled with water, he sighed, noticing the cup was placed at the corner of the cage. He then headed towards George, shaking him. "George, wake up. You need to eat something." The shorter groaned as his eyes peeled open, adjusting to the light. "Is that- beef? Where'd we get beef?"
"Just eat cmon, same goes for you Sap." Sapnap nodded as he struggled trying to pry a piece of meat. successfully, he handed one over to George. At the other end of the cage, Dream was cupping his hands and drinking some of the water, even splashing a bit in his face. Then he walked over, ripping some beef for himself. The wound on George's head was quite healed, which was great.
***
Chattering.
Human's.
Loud.
Everything was so loud...
The cage was swinging back and fourth violently, a cloth covering the cage as the three were being taken to the competition grounds. They were huddling up together, holding each other in a protective and comforting hold. Dream was getting worried, millions of thoughts, possibilities of what could be heading for them made him hold a calculated and focused gazed, yet one stood out all the rest.
Protect George, Protect Sapnap.
The cage finally stopped swinging as they seemed to be placed on a table.cThey were silent, and then a booming voice spoke. "Welcome to the first Borrower Bonanza! This competition will determine if these borrowers-" The cover from the cage was removed as the three borrowers saw other borrowers like them locked in cages aswell, "-are going to have an equal chance of living with us as a society."
Cheers erupted, making some of the other borrower's wince and cover their ears. Sapnap and Dream were scanning the other borrowers in the cages, and George was staring at the announcer. Dream glanced over seeing a borrower, black hair, short frame, decent build. Dream eye'd him, watching him like falcon.
"Dream- dude, relax. We should focus on ourselves. We just need to win, and we're home free..."

This will happen when Punz finally caughts Dream and well... it doesn't go very well since Dream is terrified of being grabbed and Punz doesn't know how to calm the tiny ghost down.

The Hot Wing Incident
A lil story involving Borrower!Dream and Sapnap (since that’s a common pairing), where at some point where Dream and Sapnap are chill with each other. This story is inspired by the Gieco commercial where the gecko tries hot wings >:)
:readmore:
Sapnap shuffled into his apartment carrying a bag of leftovers, huddled over in his jacket lightly drenched in rainwater. He sighed and turned on his apartment light, and immediately something scurried for cover on the table. Sapnap scoffed, taking off his jacket and tossing it haphazardly onto the couch.
“Dream it’s just me,” he said, approaching the table and gently dropping the bag onto the table.
A tiny head poked around the pepper shaker, tinier hands rubbing his eyes. Sapnap had found the borrower a few months ago stuck in a pot he left out overnight. After a few months they were basically best friends if not brothers. Dream was still relatively jumpy and tense, but would relax and let Sapnap hold him or pick him up (with permission). Sapnap might’ve known him for a while but he still had a lot to learn and adjust to, like for example, Dream still preferred to live in the walls in the summer, in the winter he’d sneak into Sapnap’s dresser and bury himself in a shirt or a sock. Dream left the cover of the pepper shaker, he was a few centimeters taller than it.
“Yeah but a little warning would be nice,” the tiny person grumbled. “What’s that?” He asked, noticing the bag.
“My dinner, I went out with some friends but I didn’t finish all of my food. This place has the best hot wings.” Sapnap explained with enthusiasm. Dream cocked his head in confusion.
“Hot Wings?” He asked.
“Yeah, spicy chicken wings.” He said, about to grab the bag.
“Can I try some?” Dream asked. Sapnap paused with an uneasy scoff.
“I dunno Dream these are made with habanero pepper sauce, if you want I can get you some beginner wings to try?” Sapnap offered. Dream smirked confidently, crossing his arms.
“I’m not a baby I’m sure I can handle it. I used to steal peppers from a balcony 3 floors up.” Dream boasted.
Sapnap shrugged and took the box out, grabbing a paper towel and opening the box. The wings were still fairly warm, drenched in reddish-orange sauce. It smelled heavily of spice to the borrower, who reeled back from the intensity.
Sapnap held back a small laugh, this is gonna be good, he thought, placing the wing on the paper towel.
“Alright, your funeral little man.” Sapnap nudged the wing towards Dream. Dream approached the large serving of hot wing, curious. His eyes were watering from the intensity. Sapnap raised a brow,
I’m getting him some milk, I can already tell he’s gonna need it. He thought, leaving the table to get a thimble and some milk for the tiny human.
Dream took a deep breath and scraped some sauce off the bird meat, holding the thick substance in his hand, holy shit it burns. Dream quickly licked it off, and instantly regretted it. Now began the fun part.
Dream coughed and gagged, it was too hot for him. Sapnap returned and sat down as Dream tried to hide his misery, casually leaning against the pepper shaker and coughing still.
“So, how was it?” Sapnap asked.
“It’s okay,” Dream gasped, coughing, “a little warm. I think I got something in my throat, Ack!” He broke into a coughing fit, breathing heavily through the mouth. Classic signs of eating something too spicy.
“You want some milk?” Sapnap asked, hiding a chuckle. Dream shook his head no.
“I’ll be fine, *cough cough* I’m good without it.” Dream tried to play off his suffering. Sapnap nudged the thimble closer. Dream stared at it for a moment, then caved as he raced over and chugged the whole thimble, desperate for relief as Sapnap laughed.
“I told you not to!” He said, amused by the tiny’s self-inflicted suffering.
“Shut up, need more!” Dream panted, pushing aside the thimble and fanning his mouth. “Fuck,” he gasped with regret laced in his voice.
Sapnap rolled his eyes and got Dream more milk. “So, what did you learn from this?” He asked in a singsong voice.
Dream was too busy drinking the milk to answer. Sapnap decided to get rid of the problem and ate the wing Dream tried (and failed) to eat. It was a tad too spicy for him as well but unlike Dream he could definitely handle it. At least he had an idea of what to bring home for the borrower next time, and to hide his actual hot wings from him so he doesn’t do it again.

TinyHunt
Chapter One: Analysis
Tw: technical hurt, pests, that’s about it.
Word Count: 2kish
Dream was rather enjoying this new Human. He had been spending some time getting a good look at this guy in particular to gauge how careful he should be. Needless to say, George didn’t seem like a very competent Human. He was watching silently laughing, while George struggled to find the glasses that Dream had lugged away to the top of the shelf.
Dream though, was not a cruel Borrower. So he had put the glasses just right on the shelf so that when the light streamed through the window, would illuminate the lenses. He quickly backed away as this happened against the wall about to enter the grate. He finally heard George make a sound of triumph as he reached the glasses.
George actually didn’t need glasses, they were mainly for just looking good and helping his colorblindness. So he was still a bit upset when he didn’t find them on his nightstand when he woke up in his new house. He had contemplated calling Sapnap but decided that he’d just find them himself.
Once the light shined onto the shelf just above his nightstand he reached and grasped it. He could almost swear he felt a small gust of warm breath on his finger, it was very small though. He went ahead and put them on, and went downstairs to grab a stool from the garage. But when he got back and double-checked the shelf, it was empty.
It was common knowledge that Tinies existed, George just didn’t think that he’d ever encounter any. Not that he had any proof he did have one infesting his new house, but there wasn’t much else it could be that breathed on his hand like that. His suspicions were only confirmed more when food started mysteriously going missing alongside other objects that he used.
Over the next week…
It took Dream a second before he realized that George was in fact, not blind. (Or at least not in the normal way.) But he didn’t care that much, this Human was relatively foolish, and since Borrowers were common Knowledge to them, he didn’t have to worry about being seen all that much.
Besides, if the Human got close enough to do anything he had a much more technologically advanced hook than most other Borrowers. It was mainly based on some of the things that Humans watched on their TV’s, such as the man with powers like a Spider, or that one ‘anime’ with actual giants. Back when the house was empty, he liked to practice his swinging here, he was already pretty good thanks to The Blade. But practice makes perfect.
Thankfully it seemed as if George wouldn’t be leaving anytime soon, so he could annoy the human more than he normally would. “ooooh Tiny?” George whispered attempting to sound menacing, but after seeing him talk to someone named ‘Sapnap’ through the phone, it really didn’t have the intended effect.
“I seeeee youuu!” Dream laughed at this, “You’re a Liar!” He chuckled out. “oooh, so you’re up there Tiny?” George gestured, heading over to the cabinet just next to where Dream actually was on top of the Fridge. Dream was ready for him, grabbing his hook, he launched it at his glasses and wrapped it around the middle bit in between George’s eyes.
“AHHHHH!” George screeched as his glasses were ripped off of his face and landed with a thud against the fridge with a rope wrapped around it reaching up to the top of the fridge. He was just reaching for them when the hook attached to the end of the rope that his glasses were on disengaged, making his glasses fall all the at to the tiled floor. He reacted quickly bringing his foot up to catch them.
“Noooo!” He groaned as he saw that he had totally crushed them when he caught them. Just above he heard some chuckling. “I’ll get you for that you little Nightmare!” He shouted up to the top of the fridge. There was a vent up there, so the little goblin was probably retreating into it like the rat he is.
“Heheheha!” Dream was enjoying this as he retreated into the vents with a cookie that he had yoinked from the cupboard. Making his way up the vents, he ended up at his centralized home base inside the ceiling above the Living room nearby the front door. Without a word, Dream feasted on his find.
A few minutes later he heard George leave the house, “Don’t touch anything of mine Tiny, or else.” Pffft, Dream thought. Or else what? If this idiot thought he had any shot of catching him, he was sorely mistaken. As soon as he heard the door close, he decided to take a nap, thankfully the house would be quiet for now.
George was on his way home, it had taken a bit (and a decent sum of money) but he had gotten some new glasses. He also called Sapnap as he was supposed to arrive at the same time as him at their new house. Sap was moving in with him, but knowing this idiot, he’s probably eating a pizza in a gas station somewhere on the way.
As he opened the front door, he wondered whether or not he should call the Tiny by another name. He went around trying to think of clever names for the Tiny, but as he hadn’t even seen what they looked like, it was difficult. One day though when he was prowling the kitchen after noticing that even more cookies were gone the Tiny spoke up.
“You know I have a name right?” The Tiny asked one day after George was teasing him. “Oh really, and what would that be?” The Tiny’s answer was quick and straight-to-the-point. “The name’s Dream.” Huh, that was a weird name, but from what he did know about tinies they did have some strange names. Not that he had room to judge, his middle and last name were Not Found.
“Well, Dream.” George enunciated, “I hope that you can Dream your way out of my house.” Dream didn’t crack so much as a smile after that attempt at a pun, “You must realize that I lived here first.” George took a second l. “Well yeah, but you are merely a pest that should be taken out.” Dream grimaced at this, and decided to leave, he didn’t want to entertain this dude any longer.
The next day…
Things went like this for a while. This time, George thought it'd be smart to set a trap. Multiple in fact. It got to the point where Dream had enough saved net that he could sew it together to make a net big enough to catch George. So one day while George went out to eat, (As Dream usually ended up stealing the food if he brought it back.) he set up the trap just above the front door.
"ooooohhh Dreeeeaaamm? I'm back and without any food for you to-" George was stopped by the net that had dropped as soon as he opened the door. "AH!" He thrashed about in the net for a bit, meanwhile, Dream was in hysterics at the sight. "Ohhh, i'll get you for that one!" George shouted at the shelf as Dream disappeared again.
After this, even more prank’s ensued. Flower pots and framed pictures were shattering left and right, both by Dream AND by George as he chased Dream throughout the home. “Not another one!” George shouted after he knocked over a pot trying to get at Dream, “Come back here!” Another day, George found a whole bunch of holes in his favorite shirt with Supreme on it completely torn out.
On another note, Dream had a nice new red and blue blanket, “God damn it Dream!” George roared after this. Dream the. And made a hammock on top of a shelf to get an excuse to do something else. Needless to say, George destroyed it. “I got your bed Dream!” George said to Dream, but Dream was t listening. He was pulling out a needle he had gotten from Technoblade a few years back.
He made a running leap with both his needle and his hook. He used his hook to swing around the bumbling Human and poked at him as well. “DREAM. STOP!” George screeched as he was assaulted with the sewing needle. After a minute, Dream swung himself up to a vent and watched laughing as George fretted over his small cuts.
He even went and messed with the wires inside of George’s PC, he remembered his friend Skeppy doing this several times. Although Skeepy wasn’t as skilled as Dream and usually ended up electrocuted. Dream and him had parted ways for a bit. Skeppy because He was too train and show Dream up. Dream because he preferred to work alone for the most part.
He did miss Skeppy’s company at times, but George’s rage when his PC short-circuited was absolutely hilarious. “Noooo! What the actual hell is wrong with you!” George interrogated the wall. George then went on to call someone name Phil, presumably to help with the PC.
On another occasion, Dream sat back and watched George watch a movie. The movie in question was Star Wars. Dream wasn't super invested until he saw some of the characters tie up a big mech and topple it over. He grinned mischievously underneath his mask as he concocted his plan.
Then a few hours later, he tied a long bit of rope around a book in the closet to lure George over there. Once George was in earshot, he pulled causing a loud thud to sound from the closet. "oooh Dreeaam? You in there?" He headed over to the closet. To which Dream leaped from a nearby picture frame and used his hook to wrap around the idiot's legs.
"Oh what the hell!?" George shouted as he tried to swat at Dream, rather unsuccessfully he might add. "Would you. Stop. Moving. For a second." He grunted out as Dream had tied his arms a bit too. Dream finally landed on his shoulder, "No, I don't think I will Gog's." Then he jumped off with the slightest push. "AHHH- oof." George went as he crashed through the partially open closet door. Knowing that George would be trapped for a decent while, Dream mustered up the strength to close the door for good measure.
"Oh, you are SO dead when I get out of here." He heard George declare angrily. "Sure I'll be, and the day that happens is the day I stop messing with you." Dream replied sarcastically as he retreated into the nearest vent before just bursting with euphoria.
A few hours later...
George had received a call from Sapnap at 12:23 AM, he was extremely pissed off at being woken up, especially after being trapped in the closet for a few hours, but went downstairs to open the door for him. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see something yellow, (or was it green?) poking out just barely visible from behind a Photo on the bookshelf of George with Sapnap, Bad, and Bad’s cat he had gotten recently not too long after the photo was taken.
“George, who’s at the door?” Dream asked knowing he’d been spotted. “Just a friend of mine who’s moving in, not that it’s any of your business.” Dream was almost wheezing as a realization crept upon him. “You mean to say, that you called BACKUP.” He started, “On a little Borrower like me?” He finished laughing. “No! It isn’t like that!” George said turning a tiny bit red, “it’s totally like that! Well, I’m excited to see them.”
George then proceeded to unlock the door and turn the knob, Dream knew that it was probably Sapnap who he had heard George talking to a number of times. “Bring it on Sapitus Napitus.” He muttered as George pulled the door open…

The Works
You came to the new salon mostly on a whim. It was a Sunday, so it’s not like you had anything special in mind for the next day. Just work. Boring, dreary, work. But you thought that feeling pretty might help the work week go a little more smoothly. Give your colleagues something else to talk about besides meetings and progress updates. You wanted to feel seen for once.
For such a nice place, it was a pleasant surprise that you were able to get a walk-in appointment. Fern’s Grove, it was called. Cute name. The ceilings were high, and the place felt remarkably open and airy for being just another building in a strip mall. A fountain bubbled away cheerfully, a variety of exotic plants growing alongside it. The air was even perfumed, floral and berry-like, but in a way you couldn’t quite place. And the woman at the counter, who set your bag in a drawer and got you settled into a astonishingly comfortable chair, was gorgeous. Everyone who worked here was gorgeous. If this was how they took care of themselves, you felt like you were in good hands.
Your cosmetologist came up to you just as you were getting settled. She was just as beautiful as everyone else, maybe more so, with her dramatic cat eye makeup, purple hair and generous curves. She handed you a laminated list of your options, and you could hear her whistling cheerfully in the background as she got her instruments together and you looked over your choices. Hair cut, hair color, hair extensions. Face wash, moisturizing treatments, full makeup. Permanent makeup? That sounded intriguing. Manicure, pedicure, they even offered waxing services (presumably those were in another room). And one thing at the bottom stuck out to you, drawing your attention like a light in the darkness.
The Works.
“I’ll take The Works, please,” you said, almost instinctively. You wanted to see what this place could do.
“Sure about that, doll?” Her voice was sweet like honey, with an edge of something in it. Condescension? Anticipation? Both?
“I’m sure.”
“Okay, then, The Works, coming right up. Lift your arms.”
You did so instinctively. You were always good at following directions. And you thought you knew what was going to happen. She would put an apron on you to protect your clothes, you would talk about what cut and color you wanted for the hair, maybe get your shoes off and your feet soaking for the pedicure.
That’s not what happened.
Cables descended from that high, airy ceiling, and wrapped themselves around your wrists. You tried, briefly, to pull away, but you were held in place. Like a puppet on her strings. Clamps emerged from the chair to do the same to your ankles. You were stuck.
A momentary wave of panic was replaced by a curious fear, as you could feel something seeping from your new restraints. Soaking into the skin of your wrists and ankles. It felt GOOD. Like you were being polished from the inside, like all of the tension in your body was replaced with pleasure. And as you sank back briefly, She placed something over your head. A visor. You tried to close your eyes, but the flashing colors shone through your eyelids, and you opened them out of curiosity. And once they were open, you never wanted to close them again.
At first the messages were simply soothing. Telling you to relax, to sink, to accept all of the new feelings in your body. And there were new feelings. You couldn’t see anything but the swirling colors, couldn’t hear anything but the whispered suggestions from that set of headphones that must have come on just after the visor. But you felt good. Hands nimbly massaged your scalp. The waves of whatever it was from your restraints spread all the way through your arms and legs, making them feel limp and loose and silky smooth and perfectly plastic.
Plastic?
Perfect. Plastic. Puppet.
Pretty. Programmed. Plaything.
This was what the suggestions in your head were saying now. And you kind of liked the sound of it. On some level, you knew that you had work in the morning. You were a Busy Woman With Important Things To Do. But you always hated it. There was another way now? And at least for this afternoon, you could enjoy being a
Perfect
Pretty
Plaything
...
Time passed. You couldn’t tell how long. Minutes? Hours? Days? Time felt less and less meaningful, paying attention to the sensations running through your body. It was almost like an orgasm, but orgasms came and went much faster than this. This was a slow build, leading to a great flowing tide of ecstasy. You didn’t want it to stop. You never wanted to stop being a programmed plastic puppet.
But then, as suddenly as it started, it ended. The visor and the headphones were pulled off. The restraints at your arms and legs snapped open, your arms dropping into your lap. Your hands moved automatically, one of them grasping a breast, the other rubbing at your crotch shamelessly.
As your eyes focused again, you were amazed with what you saw in the mirror. She… you… was different. Your clothes didn’t fit the same way—blouse swollen and buttons open, skirt disheveled and riding up over thicker thighs. Your mouth was hanging open, lips larger than they were before, and your tongue was hanging out. It was pierced! A blue gemstone sitting in your pretty pink mouth, its color matching your new long nails, your thick eye shadow. Your gleaming metallic hair. And the place on your neck that didn’t even look like flesh anymore. It was seemingly embedded in your skin, blue circuits tracing out from a thick black band.
A Collar.
You didn’t even look human anymore, did you? You looked like…
A Doll.
“What do you think, hun?” said the voice behind you. The voice you now instinctively knew as Owner.
“I don’t think. I just obey.” Automatic.
“Good girl. Stop touching yourself.”
You did, immediately. Arms limp at your sides. Awaiting further instructions.
“What are you?”
“I’m just a doll. An empty-headed plaything.”
“Excellent! And what do you want me to do next?”
“Please…” these words felt like they were escaping from your soul. They were your soul. All you had left was this one thought.
“Please play with me”.
You saw Owner’s luscious mouth open into a wide toothy grin as you said that, watching her and you in the mirror. And then you didn’t think anything else. Not for a long while. Dolls don’t think, they just obey.
Good Doll.

Desperado is doing a book signing event in a popular nerd bookstore tomorrow, along with Hikaru Sato, a fellow student of Suzuki's. Hikaru Sato is well known for his love of dressing up in maid dresses, sweater dresses, and so on, and he's been trying to convince Desperado to dress up in some kind of similar outfit since last year when Desperado's photo book was originally announced.
Desperado's been tweeting about trying to decide on an outfit for the event, and has listed a variety of options, but it seems like he plans to keep it a surprise until the actual book signing. But he tweeted this today:

The first thing I thought of was "I have to buy some underwear that I'm okay with people seeing for tomorrow's book signing"

I wrote down a idea that I got two days ago :D
hope you enjoy :]
Word count: 1.1K :D
Dream is a borrower againts 3 "humans" (hunters). What could possibly go wrong? The weather...
Tw: slight blood, mentions of hypothermia and malnutrition
Dream continued to run as the hunters followed from behind. It had already been a couple of months since they had started following him and it ended up becoming a game for the four of them.
Clearly, Dream still thinks that if they catch him they will kill him, so he continues to run and hide from them. He could just give them the slip and get rid of them at last, but he really liked to take things and food from them, which ended in this chase they called game.
He hid behind some wooden logs, resting a bit while he waited for them to come closer. Dream was a rather elusive, fast and intelligent borrower, so it was difficult for them to catch up or find him.
Finally he heard voices approaching. "My God, how can someone so small be so fast?" The demon hybrid asked. "Well, this is what makes it fun… Maybe we should set up camp… it's starting to get dark…" "You're right George, I'm going for firewood. Bad you can go get some food." The demon nodded as George began to set up camp.
A few hours had passed and the group was finally sleeping. Dream decided to get away from them to sleep, he didn't want to be trapped by any of them as soon as he woke up.
No, he wasn't going to risk it. It was a while before something landed on his head, but it disappeared leaving his head completely wet. He looked up to see what seemed to be a snowflake, assuming that it was starting to snow.
He searched for a place to take refuge, finally finding a hole in the trunk of the tree in which he was hiding. He snuggled inside, his body beginning to shiver from the cold as the temperatures dropped from the snow, closing his eyes to finally fall asleep.
//
In the morning, the first to get up was the blaze hybrid, amazed at all the snow that had accumulated throughout the night. He waited for his companions to wake up to continue the chase.
It didn't take long for everyone to be ready to begin. "Hey, Sapnap.. Shouldn't Dream have appeared by now?" The blazeborn frowned, normally the borrower always appeared in front of them taunting or something like that before beginning the chase.
"You're right, George... Maybe he has gone away already...?" "I don't think so Sapnap... He always waits for us before starting, it wouldn't be normal for him to have left..." Bad replied. "Maybe he's tired and resting for today?" George thought.
"Maybe... We've been chasing him for quite a few months without a break, maybe he just wants to take a little break." "Okay, we'll let him rest and then we'll give ourselves a break too… Let's go back inside the tent, it's pretty cold out here." Sapnap commented. The other two just nodded, following the blazeborn.
//
A month passed and the hunters had no sign of the little borrower, so they began to worry. They didn't know if he really left without them or if something had happened to him. One night, George decided to leave the tent and look around in case he happened to find the borrower.
He was lighting the path with a torch, looking carefully at his feet and the rest of the ground still white from snow. Finally, after walking for about five minutes, his eyes focused on something green that was slightly covered by snow. He approached carefully, gently brushing away the snow, revealing the little borrower, who was shivering terribly from the cold.
He realized that Dream was still conscious, as his head turned towards the human, his eyes filled with terror. "Hey it's alright.. I'm not going to hurt you…" he said quietly as he carefully lifted the borrower from the snow.
Almost instantly he noticed the blood dripping from the corner of his mouth, looking back to where he had picked up the little boy to see tiny red droplets staining the snow white, letting him know the borrower had been coughing up blood.
He hurried back to the tent, waking his companions up. "Guys wake up! I found Dream and he's not in good condition!" The other two jumped up when they heard that he had found Dream. "Is he okay!?" Sapnap asked, very concerned at seeing the Borrower's noticeably malnourished body in George's hands.
The brunette shook his head. "He's in very bad shape… It seems he's suffering from hypothermia, plus it seems that he's also been coughing up blood and hasn't eaten for a long time…" He hands the borrower to the blazeborn. "Here, you are the best person to hold him right now since you are born in fire, you have more body heat." Sapnap nodded as he cradled the borrower gently against his chest.
Dream coughed a few times, some more blood coming out of his mouth, but Sapnap carefully wiped it away with a piece of tissue paper that Bad offered him.
"...Why...? Why are you helping me...? I thought... that you wanted to kill me…" he said weakly. "Kill you? Is that what you've been thinking all this time we were chasing you..?” George asked as he finished lighting the fire again. The borrower nodded, staring at the hunters.
“Look Dream, we have no intention of harming you. All this time we have been chasing you because you seemed to enjoy running away from us at the same time that we enjoyed chasing you.” Sapnap explained. "Sorry for the confusion, Muffinhead... We assumed that we were friends after all this time."
The borrower's eyes widened in shock before cracking a small smile. Dream nodded slowly, closing his eyes as he relaxed in the blazeborn's hands. The borrower dropped his head to the side until it rested against Sapnap's chest.
"Just rest for now... We'll take care of you for now until you finally get better..." George commented as he sat down with the others. Dream nodded again, finally passing out in Sapnap's warm embrace.
“Well, he's out like a light...” “It's normal, it's very likely that he hasn't rested as he should because of the cold. When he wakes up in the morning we'll make sure he eats something too." The brunette reasoned, while yawning.
"I'm glad he stayed with us though and now we can finally say that we're officially his friends." The other two smiled, nodding happily before lying down.
Sapnap did the same soon after, feeling the tiny clinging to his shirt, causing a smile to form on his face before finally falling asleep. A hand protectively wrapped around Dream, keeping the small one warm.

New au?? 👀👀👀
Can you give some info?? 👀👀👀
Also have a cookie 🍪 :)
Thanks a lot for the Cookie! Now let me give ya the scoop! And introduce you to our cast!
TinyHunt Au cast:
Dream: A calculating and mischievous borrower, equipped with a Attack On Titan style grappling hook! First shows up in Chap. 1.
George: A fairly incompetent human who moves into the house Dream’s living in. Too easy for Dream to prank. First shows up in Chap. 1.
Sapnap: A bit more competent than George, but his and George’s constant bickering makes them easy targets for Dream’s pranks. Mentioned in Chap. 1, and appears first in Chap. 2. (At least that’s the current plan)
Badboyhalo: Average competence, which would be leagues above George’s and Sapnap’s. If he weren’t so nice. His approach with Dream is more peaceful, and thanks to Skeppy, knows how to deal with irritation. (Not to say that he doesn’t get irritated :) ) First appears in Chap. 3. (At least that’s the plan)
Antfrost: A cat that Badboyhalo owns, comes to live with George for a bit. Despite being a Cat, they are the least competent when it comes to Dream. Appears first in Chap. 3 alongside Bad.
Awsamdude: An exterminator friend of Bad’s, Dream has some trouble with him. Dream has encountered him before and even escaped from his house, titled by borrowers as ‘Pandora’s Vault’.
And that’s our main cast!
