You know what I find really funny about the Rescue Bots continuity? Just how durable and really unorthodox the Rescue Bots are when it comes to emergencies. I mean, the boys have been through lava, high voltage electricity, explosions, malfunctioning tech, landslides, storms, mind control, time loops, deep freezes, and so many freaking things it's almost funny. Can you imagine Blades visits Team B and and one of the decepticons throws a bomb at Blades just for it to do absolutely nothing! Strongarm: "I'm pretty sure that should've put you out of commission sir...or at least have caused significant damage???" Blades: "Aw I'm ok, that was nothing! You should've seen the bomb Dr. Morroco made to blow up half of Griffin Rock! Memories~" Bee: "You flew bombs off Griffin Rock?!?!" Blades: "Only three of them were actual bombs silly! ...The other thirty-three times were malfunctioning tech that went nuclear! Honestly, the doomsday probes and the mind control were WAY more interesting!"
Bee: *suddenly violently concerned*
Hdshjssbhssj the fact that I literally was reminded of the line from RiD
Grim: "You know that feeling when someone throws you through a mountain?"
Strongarm: "No-"
Bee: "Yes."
And the idea that Bee is also just "yep I been through a lot it's whatever tho"
At this point it's just
Bee 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 Blades (both surviving shit that shouldn't be possible)
both hearing about the stuff they went through and just being so concerned and at the same time going "it's fine"
"ARE YOU OKAY?"
"I SHOULD ASK YOU THAT!"
"IM FINE."
"ARE YOU?!"

Okay- Not a new project in the sense that I've been working on it in the background for a while. But! For the first time on the world wide web I am talking about
✨Prescott Bot✨
Due to some recent bouncing off of my sibling, this little AU got way more info than prior! It's a Transformers Aligned AU taking advantage of Prime and Rescue Bots! Gonna place a read more because this one might get a bit long. It's really just an outline, but there's so many sketches I have for this.
The story- apparently- starts out in the eighties, somewhere in the south-eastern part of Canada.
A Cybertronian ship known as the Eight Track lands on Earth. Inside are two bots, a mass-shifter by the name of Blaster, and his friend the flying car, Tracks. Along with them are Blaster's four mini-cons, Eject, Rewind, Ramhorn, and Steeljaw.
They take a bit to get used to this new planet and make their way down the coast, going south into the United States of America. They end up in this bustling place known as New York City. There, Blaster acquires his boombox alt and the minis become cassettes to go along with it.
This planet is populated with these humans and clearly, Blaster and Tracks won't fit in.
In a bid to fit in with the locals, the two decided they needed some kind of cover. This cover came in the form of Blaster attempting to write "Free Car" on a tiny, human sized piece of paper with an only larger than average sized marker. One of the minis eventually wrote it for him.
Anyway, Tracks, with his new (and gaudy in his opinion) tag, just sat until one curious human, without a car and hellbent on traveling the world, came across them. "Free boombox and car? Score!" Anyway, this human provided the cover needed for the pair, letting Tracks stretch his wheels without any suspicion, and Blaster get to play music whenever this human wanted.
The human frequently left New York, traveling to and fro, often taking Blaster with him. But every time he came back, the car was still there. It never needed gas or tune ups. And as suspicious as that was, why question a good thing?
And so went most of the eighties and nineties. Eventually, there was talk of permanently leaving New York, which was absolutely not going to happen according to Tracks.
The car no longer started, and the human left with just the boombox. Whoops~
Said human made the journey back to his hometown to talk to his brother about his plans. It was here, that boombox Blaster was left, inside a firehouse.
And that is how, in the year 2000, Blaster made it to Griffin Rock.
Obviously, no one in Griffin Rock has need for something as antique and old school as a boombox. So, once it became clear that no one was returning for it, Blaster was taken to an antique store where he stayed very temporarily, being picked up by one Huxley Prescott.
At some point during his stay with Huxley, Blaster mayyyy have gotten a little bored with the boombox stuff, especially since he no longer went to go anywhere. So Blaster mayyyyyy have carnapped Huxley's van and mayyyyybe scanned it just to drive back and pose as it. In his defense, he was bored.
(I will note that there is a possibility that Huxley finds out about Blaster's true nature somewhere around here. Blaster will pull something like "Oh, I'm just a high-tech prototype robot. You know how it is here" and Huxley takes his word for it. They're friends in due time. But there's also the possibility that it happens much closer to the start of Rescue Bots, upon which Blaster's story is immediately backed up by the Team's presence. (it's still backed in the former option as well, there's just more time in between) Still on the fence about this)
And so goes the next eight years. He plays human music over the Autobot frequencies because there's only one around to hear it. Tracks is doing his own thing in NYC (whilst being pelted with Blaster's admittedly good taste in music.)
Somewhere in the western states, an argument has started up amongst a small team of Autobots about the music.
"Hey- Hey, if it were me, not only would you all know, but I'd be playing it louder." -Cliffjumper
It is eventually discovered that the music is coming from an Autobot (or a particularly skilled human that accidentally hacked Autobot frequencies) in Maine.
A comm is sent and a meeting is arranged. One groundbridge later (much later, as to not be caught by humans,) Blaster is in the Omega One Outpost.
Discussions are had, Team Prime finds out Tracks is technically also here. There is talk of Blaster joining Team Prime. Much conversation in general goes as follows:
"Why are you flooding the Autobot channels with music?"
"Up until you commed, there were only two of us"
"Two?"
"Tracks"
"Why did you never attempt to contact us?"
"How long have you guys been here again?"
"I do believe it's been two Earth years at this point"
"Two? Two. I think the real question is; why didn't you contact me!"
"How long have you been here?"
"Since the eighties man!"
Cue the Autobots later asking Fowler what the "eighties" are.
Anyway, Blaster tells them he has a pretty good thing going, and if anything, the team should be moving with him and not the other way around.
They go their separate ways and Blaster spends a year or so longer in Griffin Rock, unbothered. Until-
"Blaster. I have received word of more Cybertronians arriving on Earth. I was wondering if there might be anywhere for them to dwell on Griffin Rock. Particularly if there is a human you trust there, such as your own, who can teach them to work with humans" -Optimus Prime
"Okay. Okay, totally normal request. Uh, you say multiple, so I'll go ahead and assume they need space. This place's got tunnels under it, so- yeah. A lot of tunnels lead under the firehouse. Chief Charlie Burns is very capable if you want suggestions. And probably the only one with room for any bots" -Blaster
And this is how Rescue Bots starts. There's still a lot of stuff, and different tidbits for different episodes, but this has already gone on for a while, so I'll end it here.

Hi hello question for you: if TF characters got dropped into Subnautica just, randomly, who do you think is handling it best VS who do you think dies embarrassingly quickly (to themselves)?
Hmm now that's an interesting question, because I think most bots are a little more durable than humans and their main threats would be chance encounters with leviathans and environmental dangers (see: especially deep depths, actively hostile geology, the goddamn water)
Things would become exceedingly difficult if they can't get their hands on proper water capable altmodes, but if they CAN then I think they'd do better on 4546B than humans might.
We might have a beast wars situation on our hands where the bots have to be in their altmodes 90% of the time outside of base, because otherwise they're going to start running into issues with how long they're in saltwater and more intense depths than any of them are used to (*especially* if they're venturing off the continental shelf)
In my mind, the mecha who already have aquatic or semiaquatic altmodes are probably doing the best. Seaspray and High Tide have this shit covered, and they have it covered well. Mecha who were stationed on Earth or on earthlike exoplanets in general have an advantage over those who weren't.
I'm not sure which characters might die the quickest, but minibots and minicons would be at more risk with the local fauna, and it's going to be harder for mecha with little to no experience with oceans (or even water in general, considering how some depictions of Cybertron do not have water)

HOME STRETCH!!! 21 like the strangely high American drinking age!
"I hate you," Blades mutters.
Quickshadow doesn't dignify that with an answer.
They've been stuck below ground for maybe a few hours now. Blades had spent the first hour panicking, the second hour sleeping off the exhaustion, and from then on the hours started to blur as he woke up and immediately started moping.
Quickshadow grimaces at the taste of dirt as she licks her claws clean, before going back to attacking the cave wall. Their comms are blocked from this far down, and there's absolutely no way the other rescue bots are picking up their signals. She can only hope that they saw exactly where the ground had opened up beneath her and Blades and are digging accordingly.
But they've also been down here a while, so that might be a stretch.
"You could help, you know," Quickshadow snaps, deciding Blades doesn't deserve grace anymore. Sure, he's a flier trapped who knows how deep underground and clearly isn't taking it well, but sitting in the corner pouting most certainly isn't helping anyone. "You do have claws."
Blades doesn't answer, so she keeps pressing. "If you actually want to get out of here, we must work together, you know-"
"Primus, you sound just like Hot Spot," Blades snaps, and Quickshadow pauses out of pure confusion.
Who is Hot Spot?
"'Oh, we're brothers, we're a team'," Blades mocks, and Quickshadow gets the distinct feeling that Blades isn't really talking to her anymore. "'The power of love and friendship and we have to stick together' and look where that got us!" He heaves a vent, putting his face in his hands. "No. No, he was right, we should've stuck together. Maybe then they wouldn't all be dead."
Quickshadow's interest is piqued, that's for sure. She's always been partial to mysteries, and enforcer training certainly doesn't help.
But this brings up a whole host of questions. Normally "brothers" is a term used for split-sparks and gestalts, though he fondly calls his team that. Was Blades part of a gestalt? Are they all dead besides him? She thought he didn't participate in the war, what could've possibly happened?
"Who is all dead?" she asks, and Blades meets her with a glare, but no answer, so she presses. "Were you part of a gestalt? A combiner team? I thought you never saw war, but all combiners were drafted right away, weren't they-"
"SHUT UP!"
Quickshadow's mouth snaps shut. Blades is glaring at her with more force than she thought him capable of, his rotors raised angrily and threateningly.
"All bots like you ever do is ask questions!" he screams, voice reverberating off the walls of the cave. "'What did it feel like'? 'Cause of death'? 'Maybe you'd like to come into the lab so we can study you'! 'Are you sure you felt him die'? All these motherfucking questions and I still don't know anything!"
Quickshadow opens her mouth to say something, anything, but Blades is whirling on her again. "Shut up!" he shouts. "I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear it," he mumbles over and over, like a mantra, sinking down to the ground and pulling his knees to his chassis.
Quickshadow blinks. Something about what Blades was saying is ringing a bell in her processor, but she can't quite put a digit on it. There's some story, maybe something she heard in a break room or passing a mech on the street, something about a murder, or maybe a series of murders, having to do with a gestalt... but she can't quite remember.
Wasn't there a kidnapping case as well? Naturally forming gestalts were extremely rare, of course when the war broke out Autobots and Decepticons would want to have combiners on their teams.
Maybe I could look into it for you, she almost wants to say. I could get access to some old files. Maybe deep in my memory banks, there's something that could help you.
I want to help you.
"You don't hate me," is what comes out of her mouth.
"...No."
Quickshadow returns to digging.

some of my coworkers r ai bros and theyve been finding that, duh, gpt bots will repeat ur mistakes if u feed them information that is false, so using them to check for mistakes in a pdf creates a library of mistakes for them to pull from and the learning model collapses on itself after a few uses. bc the information it was trained on was mistakes

ok so you did not answer my question! again, why do you feel the need to /report/ these people, when it does very little good but possibly mildly inconvenience a scammer, and has the potential to do great harm to people trapped in active warzones? i understand if you don't want to have to vet posts/asks, it's tiring. but why go out of your way to keep people who care enough to do background checks from interacting with those in need?
personally, i mainly just block instead of report, but reporting scams is important because after a certain amount of accounts they’ve had deactivated, there’s a good chance the scammer might give up, meaning less people are likely to be stolen from.
also a lot of sketchy accs have been vetted, like porn bots, so vetting isn’t necessarily a foolproof way of authenticating the legitimacy of a donation request like that. i mean what if the same person that vetted the account made it for ‘donations’ in the first place. you never know.
and i linked several secure resources to support palestine, so that more people can lessen and prevent great harm to those in said active warzones, so i don’t rly don’t know what the issue is here.
even if it is just mildly inconveniencing scammers, isn’t that a good enough reason? scammers deserve to be inconvenienced lmao
