Say what you will about carefully-curated workspaces and highly-detailed rituals for creating magical objects, they're all well and good.
But for me, the peak of modern witchwork is setting up your materials on a desk with sigils painted under the worktop, lighting up some incense you got in a trade at the last swap meet, tapping your wifi as a protective bubble, and making charms while you binge-watch something on your favorite streaming service.
realized yesterday that i very much still have this lab rats clip just. easily accessible on my phone. so here’s one of my favorite moments from the show that kind of kills me but is also just a little funny
fuuuck dude this is the most relatable plotline i’ve ever seen (looking at a story that is like 50% audience interpretation at the least) fuck man this guy is just like me for real (looking at a character arc I strung together entirely in my head)
I think Bree loves Mr. Davenport but it's the painful kind of love where she doesn't really like him as a person (except when she does) and she can understand where he's coming from sometimes but still doesn't agree with his actions. But Chase both loves Mr. Davenport and likes him as a person (except when he doesn't) because he's very good at rationalizing his father's bad behavior due to spending the most time with him/being the most similar to him (a fact he agonizes over, especially after meeting Douglas).
Meanwhile Adam loves Mr. Davenport in an abstract sort of way but doesn't like him at all. Donald isn't good with kids and Adam always preferred his siblings so they never really bonded. He holds no real resentment toward him or anything, they can have fun together sometimes, but in his mind Donald Davenport is just some freak they all tolerate. Like a pet. And Leo feels the same but with an extra dash of pity bc God that man is pathetic.
Marcus & Daniel neither love nor like Donald, due to both inherited hatred from Douglas & also because that man is a Freak. Though Daniel comes around, probably after he gets in a fight with Douglas & Donald helps him get revenge or smth.
hhelp wait this is so funny. didnt you follow me forever ago after a scott themed october song analysis . sorry if you dont remember that and this ask doesnt make sense but this is still funny to me
hi!!!! yeah. it was the cherri crane lives art i think and also where you made your flower husbands tag! I have never really interacted with fh outside of you (and like, seeing pretty fanart) but i am nonetheless deeply invested in your interpretation specifically!!! I honestly haven't watched jimmy outside of rats and the beginning of empires2 either i genuinely have no clue what they get up to you just seem to have a lot of fun with it
hc that when the bionic trio got to come out of the lab for the first time and tasha made dinner, they all went through some sort of psychedelic sequence after the first bite like when a kids cartoon character eats a miscellaneous mushroom
Life is gonna be so much fun knowing how crazy both sets of fans (Swifties & Marvel) are. Like this is definitely gonna set those lame fanboys into overdrive.
as much as I love breezepelt being apart of the rebel group in tbc you knooooow its bc the new team gave him the reasoning of "its bc crowfeather got exiled!!!" And not the more interesting reasoning of "breezepelt realized that there's something wrong bc the cats who are being punished for breaking the code aren't the dark forest trainees and its mostly thunderclan cats getting exiled AND maybe he realized that exiling cats for things like half clan relationships is wrong which shows how much he's changed as a person". Instead we get scenes like before crowfeather goes into hell breezepelt has a nice moment with crowfeather and then gets comforted by tree. Get the misandry is real character away from breezepelt
And also trying to sort out why Andie became an officer. Really it's a mix of things that isn't a choice in game. Good benefits, job probably isn't that hard, she gets to help people and talk to them, there's a clear career track, not much happens in Wayhaven, maybe some Rook influence there...
She would never have become an officer in a big city. Regular crime is not her thing. She wouldn't want to be dealing with assaults and murders on the regular. In the books, Wayhaven feels little like Mayberry from Andy Griffith. Being an officer there generally seems like a steady, low stakes job.
I go with helping people even though in my mind it's more to do with very boring practical every day reasons. I also think she's connected to her community. Rebecca wasn't around so she made other bonds. She isn't an extroverted social butterfly like Ethan but she's got a ton of the weaker social bonds that feel enough like glue to hold everything together.and
it would be lovely if I could channel this feeling of emotional fragility and vulnerability into some kind of meaningful yom kippur experience today. unfortunately I am concerned I'm just going to end up white-knuckling it through a day because there are people who might perceive me at something less than full composure, and postpone the oncoming meltdown for some other, probably inconvenient, time.
do people really just. like reading romance for the sake of reading romance. is that a thing that happens like is that some kind of itch some people need to scratch and is that why shipping often with very little substance is so widespread. genuine question does anyone know
