So this is one of my guiltiest pleasures but ... let’s talk about the Brohio Podcast. Do you like butt jokes and raunchy humor? I usually don’t, but dammit, Nick and Rob are just so fucking likable and funny. The podcast covers conspiracies, cryptids, true crime, aliens, just general weird shit. If you like (the sadly now defunct) Thinking Sideways Podcast and don’t mind a lot of sex jokes, Brohio has you covered.

Anyway. I was having a bummer of a day last week; my mind was going to some real dark places. And then I get a notification that a new episode was out and I was like ... Fuck it. Gonna go listen to Brohio and go paint the house (my side hustle ... I’m kind of the property manager of my building now. It just sorta happened).

And I did, and the feelings passed, and I had a good laugh. So I shot the boys a message on Instagram:

They’re absolute sweethearts.

But yeah. If you’re depressed, keep holding on for that next episode of the podcast you love. Or TV series. Or the movie coming out next week. Or the plans you have with your friends. Or the book you haven’t finished yet.

So I’m looking for some new podcast recommendations. I’ve been listening to a lot of spooky nonfiction podcasts. My favorites have been:

Haunted Places (paracast network)** Brohio Hollywood and Crime Gone (paracast network) Graveyard Tales

I also have a few more paracast network podcasts saved but want to branch off from them a bit. I like Brohio but sometimes I don’t like their jokes and tangents or how they joke about serious incidents. I’m trying to get into Paranormal Punchers but need to listen to a few more to really get a good decision.

Either way, I’m looking for more spooky nonfiction podcasts that talk about the paranormal, serial killers, unsolved murders, conspiracy theories and such like that

What are some of your fav podcasts to listen to while you’re bored? (doesn’t necessarily have to be about horror)

the only horror podcast i listen to is Dead Meat.

other than that, i listen to Two Girls One Ghost, the Brohio Podcast, and The Confessionals Podcast. As well as Captains Log on occasion

Trying out some new podcasts, which of course means hearing ads and clips of other podcasts.

A clip from some other show includes the comment ‘if we know fertilizer is a main component in a truck bomb why do we let people buy 200lbs of it like it’s no big deal’ or something to that effect.

Fun fact: we don’t. You cannot buy bulk quantities of fertilizer without the feds knowing about it. And. Ya know. The vast majority of people buying bulk fertilizer are using it as fertilizer not as part of a bomb.

Their whole rant was about how people can buy tarps, ropes, knives and other “suspicious items” all at once without being investigated as a criminal. Which my response is ‘fuck off you obnoxious muppet, most people aren’t murderers’.
